This is very important for two reasons. First, it closes a gaping wound that empire uses to destabilize and here the importance is quite clearly noted. President Putin himself is acting as mediator.  This is the result of a years-long very thorough diplomatic process by Russia’s diplomats.  Just a while ago, a bunch of westerners walked in wanted to derail and pirate the process, but they could not.

Last night💥 , the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike by high-precision long-range air-based weapons against facilities of the Dnepr airfield.

Still in rumor form. Valery Zaluzhny, the Commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is reportedly in critical condition after being wounded. It does not mean much in the big scheme of things except that Zelenski is in Japan while his Commander-in-Chief is missing in action, and Bakhmut/Artemovsk falls to Wagner and the Yug Russian forces.  Optics!  (Remember, Ukraine is surely winning … /end sarc).  At the G7, they are back to As Long As It Takes and say:  “We are renewing our commitment to provide the financial, humanitarian, military, and diplomatic support Ukraine requires for as long as it takes.”  Optics:  Supporting dead horses!.  Will Zelenski go back to Ukraine?

There is a special symbolism in the fact that today we are talking about the complete liberation of Artemovsk, which Ukrainian propagandists called nothing more than an “impregnable fortress.” A year ago, on the same day, the last fighters of the Azov National Battalion surrendered in Mariupol – May 20 has already become a special date for us twice.

The Wagner fighters did a colossal work: every meter was paid dearly.

I initiated, now officially, the establishment of state awards of the Donetsk People’s Republic of the Russian Federation for the liberation of Artemovsk. Each of the guys should be awarded!

We need to go further and at the same time rebuild the settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic destroyed by the Ukrainian regime. Russia is restoring historical justice in Donbass.

E. Prigozhin: On May 20, 2023, at 12 noon, Bakhmut/Artyomovsk was completely taken

– The operation to capture Bakhmut lasted 224 days, began on October 8, 2022, to enable the battered Russian army to recover.

Caution.  We wait for confirmation from the Russian MoD.  Really what Prigozhin means is that Wagner’s given military task is complete.  The MoD may have a different concept.

But Yeah!  Hurrah!  This opens up a new phase.  We will let the military boffins tell us about it.  I read about a family that Wagner found who had been in their basement for 6 months.  They were rescued.  The city is destroyed.

Trouble for the G20

China will skip the upcoming G20 event in the Indian-controlled part of disputed Kashmir, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Friday.  “China firmly opposes holding any form of G20 meetings on disputed territory. We will not attend such meetings,” Wang said at a press conference.

The G20 Tourism Working Group session will be held on May 22-24 in Srinagar as part of a series of events tying into the G20 leaders summit in New Delhi in September.

Zelenski is back in play.

Zelenski says: I will speak at the Arab League summit. I will meet with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman al-Saud and hold other bilateral talks’ — Zelensky arrived in Saudi Arabia.

He did too!  He spoke and the Syrian delegation refrained from putting on translation headphones during the Ukrainian Zelenskyy speech at the Arab summit in Jeddah.

And now, by various reports, he will be attending the G7 summit to give his speech in person. We have India and Brazil and others as guests. You can imagine what coercion will be happening there.

This cocaine-fueled clown monster has not been back to Ukraine since two drones flew to Putin’s formal residence on Kremlin grounds. The bookies are taking brisk bets that he will never go back.

UPDATE:  So, the Arab summit delegates are being asked what in the blazes is Zelensky doing there.  I’m getting reports from reliable people that he gatecrashed.  Went there under false pretenses and gatecrashed the summit.  He had no invitation.  The west is exceedingly desperate.

We have dueling summits. The G7 starts tomorrow as well as the China-Central Asia summit, consisting of those countries that supported Russia at the May 09 Victory Day parade.

The G7 is busy creating chaos and threatening all and sundry and how to expand NATO, their favorite force for more war.  The China-Central Asia summit is engaged in doing trade and productive work.

Central Asian Leaders talk Friendship and & Bilateral Relations.  Several heads of states are already sitting down with Xi Jinping before the main event in the historic city of Xi’an, birthplace of Belt & Road.  Two-way trade between China and Central Asia hit a record $70bn last year. President Xi is expected to deliver an “important” speech and ratify an “important” political document, according to Beijing.

G7 Meeting is in Hiroshima, Japan and they talk about destruction.  They talk about how to counter Russia and China, more sanctions and just how are they going to maintain a hegemonic power base.  (They will for sure whisper about the lack of Patriot air defense in Ukraine, after the Khinzal visit and convince one another that it is not real.)  India is a guest.  The star of the show will be an online clown performance on Sunday by Zelensky.

As a result of the strikes, significant stockpiles of AFU weapons and ammunition were destroyed, and the movement of reserves into combat areas was thwarted.
