“There are a number of questions, misunderstandings, and obvious inconsistencies.”1. How did thousands of Wagner soldiers arrive in Rostov with hundreds of armoured vehicles and weapons unnoticed? This could not have happened unnoticed, and obviously, the question would have been, “Guys, where are you going? The war is on the other side.”
2. If this is a real attempt at an armed coup, then the first thing that the rebels must do is to win over or destroy/block the security forces loyal to the state – the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Rosgvardiya, and military units that exist in every city. But there are no clashes, and there are no attempts to seize military units with weapons, equipment and ammunition. That is, they “captured” the city and went on in a column, leaving the armed military and security forces behind.
3. If this is a real attempt at an armed coup d’etat, then why doesn’t the State destroy a defenseless column on the march, which drives through open terrain on the road for hours?
4. Wagner receives all ammunition from the Russian Defense Ministry. You can’t buy artillery shells and rockets at a market. Obviously, the Ministry of Defense will not give any more shells. They could get them in n military units, which Wagner does not attempt to capture for some reason. To go on an armed mutiny without being able to replenish ammunition is strange.
5. There is no resistance from military units and the security forces, as if they were told “normal, sit down, everything is going according to plan.” It could be sad “because they support Wagner” – OK, no question, then why didn’t any department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or anyone else go over to the side of the rebels?
6. If this is a real coup attempt, then the authorities would first stupidly block all the accounts of all companies associated with Prigozhin and stop their activities.
7. Okay, Prigozhin is one person who could sell out to NATO, Ukrainians, etc. for mountains of gold. But to include in such a situation, 26,000 people who were previousl defending and dying for the interests of Russia? There may be some traitors, but not ALL? Is it so easy say – “OK, let’s go organize a coup d’etat, plunging the country into chaos, devastation, civil war and defeat.” It doesn’t happen that way.
8. The absolute futility of the idea initially. i.e., in fact, suicide. They may be suicidal but not all 26,000 at once?
That is, in the event of a real coup attempt, both the rebels and the authorities would act quite differently from what they are doing now.
