Dear Mr P, read a few articles from your recommended searchterm> “substack + artificially stimulated stupidity”. Here are some snippets from them :

It seems like two things are happening at once—endless hype about how superintelligent AI will be, and also lots of examples of how it absolutely sucks. Infinite money will be pumped into AI, with hype about how it will revolutionize everything, along with examples of how AI actually does not do anything it is supposed to do. AI has nothing to do with truth, knowledge, creativity, imagination, or anything else that might have value. All it will do is accelerate the worst parts of the Internet.

Nothing in the AI tech is intelligent by itself. The right application can lead to very intelligent solutions – and a few mistakes can lead to the complete opposite. Brian Eno once said, “artificial intelligence is, in many ways, a misnomer; what computers really have is ‘artificial stupidity.’”

Here’s another perspective from psychologist Dr. Ilona L. Tobin: “Cooking, gardening, keeping a journal, handiwork and crafts are all creative acts. Arranging flowers or rearranging furniture, painting a picture or painting a room, singing on stage, or singing in the shower—these are all responses to the ‘call.’”
On psychology.com, Dr. Tobin says, “Creativity requires risk-taking. It asks us to surrender, to lose control, to trust.” It may be relieving to surrender to our creativity in smaller, even perhaps mundane, ways.

Can AI tech take risks and really surrender, trust itself and lose control when its just an algorithm supported by massive amount of GPU’s and servers in a computer network?

This article is as bizarre as it gets, but it does does talk about the ‘centrality of the Tula governor’, though in a completely different context:
“THE REBELS ARE BEHEADED, THE INSTIGATORS ARE ARRESTED”? AND IT’S NOT PRIGOGINE”
In one of the Telegram channels of the Wagner group, an audio recording appeared. Someone describes the situation with the Prigozhin mutiny, prefixing his speech with the following words:: “I ask that you post this on your information resources.” This person introduced himself as a marine officer of the Northern Fleet “from the Kherson direction”. He says that a unique special operation was carried out in the style of the KGB – “lightning-fast and deadly for the enemy.” And explains what it was all about :
    https://m.tsargrad.tv/articles/mjatezhniki-obezglavleny-zachinshhiki-arestovany-i-jeto-ne-prigozhin_812948
The word ‘stuffing’ immediately comes to the mind. Political commentator Andrey Perla expressed the following opinion about the conspiracy theory voiced in this article:
“I think that such texts do not improve the situation primarily for Wagner itself. Because these texts are an attempt to prove that although you retreated in front of everyone, in fact you achieved everything and won everything.
“In any case, very soon we will understand how great the consequences of the “mutiny”are. I think they are very large. But the content of these texts has nothing or almost nothing to do with everything that happened.”

    Mr P, did state the full recipe is “All is forgiven, nothing is forbidden, everything is permitted…now make a chitlist and call for hangman” The phrase is a cynical shorthand code for how a ruler discovers disloyalty;
“Nothing is forgiven, nothing at all.”

From Rostislav Ishchenko’s recent article –
    https://ukraina.ru/20230625/1047547986.html :

I didn’t think it would end so quickly. However, Prigozhin’s sudden “complaisance” indicates that far from stupid people were going to become the beneficiaries of this rebellion. As well as the fact that they still have hope (and perhaps they are even sure) that responsibility will be avoided. After all, the formal exposure did not occur.

It remains to clear the Augean stables. This task can be simplified by the interested participation of former formal leaders of the rebellion. Why interested? After all, it seems that the authorities have no complaints against them (everyone is forgiven) and you can not give evidence. The fact is that they can lead to hidden and unsolved traitors. The latter are well aware of this danger for themselves and will try to level it out. The principle is well known: “no person, no problem.” Well, if you shared your knowledge with the authorities, then killing you is pointless and even dangerous, because it is immediately clear who the customer is (they can catch you by the hand). In addition, a valuable witness will be well protected.

Unfortunately, the most interesting, hidden part of the fight against the insurgency and eliminating the possibility of a new one, which is now entering an active phase, we will not see. This performance is not for the general public. But there will definitely be a real finish, not an intermediate one. Everyone will receive according to their deeds.

    From Rogers’ Kitchen channel –
    Forwarded from ZOV SVOбоды :
“There are a number of questions, misunderstandings, and obvious inconsistencies.”

    1. How did thousands of Wagner soldiers arrive in Rostov with hundreds of armoured vehicles and weapons unnoticed? This could not have happened unnoticed, and obviously, the question would have been, “Guys, where are you going? The war is on the other side.”

    2. If this is a real attempt at an armed coup, then the first thing that the rebels must do is to win over or destroy/block the security forces loyal to the state – the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Rosgvardiya, and military units that exist in every city. But there are no clashes, and there are no attempts to seize military units with weapons, equipment and ammunition. That is, they “captured” the city and went on in a column, leaving the armed military and security forces behind.

    3. If this is a real attempt at an armed coup d’etat, then why doesn’t the State destroy a defenseless column on the march, which drives through open terrain on the road for hours?

    4. Wagner receives all ammunition from the Russian Defense Ministry. You can’t buy artillery shells and rockets at a market. Obviously, the Ministry of Defense will not give any more shells. They could get them in n military units, which Wagner does not attempt to capture for some reason. To go on an armed mutiny without being able to replenish ammunition is strange.

    5. There is no resistance from military units and the security forces, as if they were told “normal, sit down, everything is going according to plan.” It could be sad “because they support Wagner” – OK, no question, then why didn’t any department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or anyone else go over to the side of the rebels?

    6. If this is a real coup attempt, then the authorities would first stupidly block all the accounts of all companies associated with Prigozhin and stop their activities.

    7. Okay, Prigozhin is one person who could sell out to NATO, Ukrainians, etc. for mountains of gold. But to include in such a situation, 26,000 people who were previousl defending and dying for the interests of Russia? There may be some traitors, but not ALL? Is it so easy say – “OK, let’s go organize a coup d’etat, plunging the country into chaos, devastation, civil war and defeat.” It doesn’t happen that way.

    8. The absolute futility of the idea initially. i.e., in fact, suicide. They may be suicidal but not all 26,000 at once?

That is, in the event of a real coup attempt, both the rebels and the authorities would act quite differently from what they are doing now.

In general, there is a timid hope that this is some kind of staging (for example, to provoke the UGIL to throw all the reserves into the counter-hook, and not to sit out in the wagon).

    Photo from Rostov :
Yes, yes, this is how the dudes who just captured the city as part of an armed mutiny behave “on the chill”.
They take pictures, drink beer from cans, and let everyone climb on tanks …

    Alexander Gradsky -Bardovskaya (Pendulum)
The pendulum swings – the heart stops.
What will be credited to whom – who knows about it?

Who someone likes, who is in disgrace,
What rightfully fell out – to whom it is horrible

What will fate predict for us, brothers, by nightfall
Will she smile, or won’t she?

We are alone and their lash, we are alone their bridle.
We will always be in time, we will not be late.

The hour of sunset has come – the pendulum will swing…
And without us guys, the fight won’t start.

And without us guys, the fight won’t happen.
We must part with life sometime…

What will fate predict for us, brothers, by nightfall
Will she smile, or won’t she?…

We’ll put up candles, we won’t be sad,
If it’s odd or even, we’ll find out tomorrow…

    I’m Nobody! Who are you?
Are you – Nobody – too?
Then there’s a pair of us!
    Don’t tell! they’d advertise – you know!

How dreary – to be – Somebody!
    How public – like a Frog –
To tell one’s name – the livelong June –
    To an admiring Bog!

Yes, dear AHH, this is not at all maskirovka, my mistake. No one would have imagined Prigozhin would go to this extent and execute his plan to capture Moscow itself with his ragtag band taken from penal colonies.

This is what Rogers’ Kitchen channel has to say-
Forwarded from MILITARY COMMANDER MARAT KHAIRULLIN :
“Let’s talk about the fate of Prigozhin.”

After several days of wonderful silence, Evgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin appeared on the air again. And again, he tried to take the next height – he spoke, apparently, with all his broad soul. Burned and shocked to the fullest. We will not retell and so widely dispersed. But in light of what they said, it is interesting to speculate about the personal fate of Evgeny Viktorovich.

Since many people express open bewilderment, I have already taken a swing at Vladimir Vladimirovich himself, and still have not been imprisoned (shot, poisoned, etc.). This is very unusual for a totalitarian dictator. But as always, when it comes to big politics, nothing is simple. So we need a background.

Let’s start with the moment when Alexander Beglov became the governor of St. Petersburg. Here, you need to understand that St. Petersburg is such a personal project of GDP and its St. Petersburg team.
The main operators of this project are two teams (groups, clans, associations, etc.). This is conventionally the Valentina Matvienko group and the Gazprom Group. They regularly replace each other.

And then, if you remember, Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin arranged a public showdown with the newly appointed governor Beglov (he is a creature of the conditional group of Valentina Matvienko).

The point was very simple – it is not necessary to support efforts to destabilize the internal situation in the country.
The elite has the right to squabble among themselves, but in such a way as not to disturb the general peace of Russians. Who doesn’t know that internal stability is such a personal fetish of Vladimir Putin. You can’t be disrespectful about this.

It is interesting that something similar happened the day before and at the beginning of the SVO-all the alleged interested parties were again sent a signal that together with Prigozhin, it is not necessary to swing the internal situation and in general it is necessary to stay away from him. Let Evgeny Viktorovich work himself out.
In other words, those who are supposed to have calculated the current situation and carried out preventive work in advance.

As a result, we see that Yevgeny Viktorovich never managed to put together any serious coalition. He was supported only by a few idiotic military commissars, which in itself is indicative: relying on the support of outright imbeciles in serious cases means passing a sentence on yourself. This, to put it mildly, indicates someone’s personal inferiority and general weakness as a political player. This is not how things are done in our country. Moreover, this is so prominent that even old buddies did not support Yevgeny Viktorovich.

War correspondents and experts evaluated Prigozhin’s actions :

Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin reminds me of the historical episode when “ataman of the Free Cossacks,” Nikolai Ashinov tried to ‘conquer’ Africa” :

Perhaps Prigozhin, too, will be allowed to relocate near Chernigov just like his predecessor, the most brilliant con artists of his time, Nikolai Ashinov.

    Prigozhin’ is a drama queen
Oft is won’t to become mean
    Taking Bakhmut and Popasnaya
    With courage, art and maskirovka
He likes to get under one’s skin

Thank you, AHH, for this sagacious image.

    “And the Candles are Melting”
Russian title: Oplavlyayutsya svechi na starinnyj parket
    by Vladimir Semyonovich Vysotsky

    And the candles are melting
    Out to the aging floors
    The rain falls on shoulders
    Like silver off epaulettes.
    In a frenzy there fizzles
    The golden champagne.
    Let times past, fly away
    I’m not one to complain.

    In a pre-mortal anguish
    with a back-looking glance,
    The scared stags leap forward
    Towards the deadly advance.
    Someone points his long barrel
    At the innocent breast…
    Let bygones be bygones,
Come what may, if it be best.

    With a heartless abandon
    A clever hunter takes aim
    With razor-sharp arrows
    Into sunset’s red flame.
    In the tempest of sound
    A sad note cries shrill.
    The past leaps and bounds,
Come what may, if it will.
