ParticipantRussian anti-tank missiles Vikhr “Whirlwind” and Lancet drones successfully penetrate the fluffy armour of the German Leopard 2 tanks, demonstrating their high vulnerability.
NATO has now promised to compensate Ukraine for all the poor Leopards lost …

ParticipantThe Collective West is funneling more and more powerful weapons to the Ukraine. After the UK, the US is now supplying depleted-uranium (DU) shells to Ukraine.
DU is a by-product of the nuclear enrichment process and is extremely dense. When used in tank shells, the material is effective because its bulk can penetrate through tank armour.
According to United Nations Environment Program, the DU’s “chemical toxicity” is the biggest danger, and “it can cause skin irritation, kidney failure and increase the risks of cancer.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced he was sending nuclear weapons to Belarus. He compared the move to NATO’s nuclear sharing program. He also said the deployment was in response to the UK providing Ukraine with depleted uranium ammunition. On the supply of DU by the UK & US, he responded that Russia too has plenty of DU and may use them in retaliation.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a visit to a Russian military base in Tajikistan, stated :
Anything can be expected from the leaders of the US and other Western countries (which Washington has completely subjugated). They are already proving this when, following advanced long-range weapons and tanks, they are now seriously preparing F-16s. They are preparing to continue to escalate the war that was unleashed against us,”
“We must keep in mind that one of the modifications of the F-16 has the capability to deliver nuclear weapons. If they do not understand this, then they are worthless as military strategists and planners.”

Lavrov described Russia as a “peaceful” nation, which only “wants to be left alone so that no one tries to drag us into any US-led globalist organizations and mechanisms.”F-16s are capable of carrying B61 nuclear gravity bombs, which the US stores in several European countries. Under NATO’s nuclear sharing program, there are US B61 nuclear bombs deployed in Italy, Germany, Turkey, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

ParticipantDear Amarynth, I’m so sorry to know that the surgery has caused trauma and shock to your dearly beloved. Perhaps the surgery will remove the malady, one never knows.
Homeopathy can be fantastic in helping recovery for post-surgical healing, and for removing scar tissue after surgery :
“Staphysagria 200c: in abdominal operations, Staphysagria is preferred after the operation, which suits clear-cut incisions. It is nicely complemented by Bellis Perennis 200, which acts in deeper tissue, is better than Arnica after major abdominal surgical work.”Sudhi
ParticipantExcellent essay by Alexandr Rogers in his live journal :

ParticipantDear AHH, if you are into numerology, please don’t go by the Gregorian calendar when there are other calendars that are more accurate.

ParticipantA highly sarcastic and entertaining article by Dmitry Orlov:
“Vladimir Zelensky, Hero of Russia”
“During his time as president of what remains of the Ukrainian SSR, Zelensky destroyed the country but achieved a lot for Russia. Here are his main achievements in no particular order…
https://aftershock.news/?q=node/1253142
“All this raises the question: who does Vladimir Zelensky serve? The answer seems obvious: Vladimir Zelensky serves Russia. This goes without saying; after all, he is, in fact, Russian. More precisely, he is a Russian Jew, but as a Russian Jew, he is, like all the other numerous nationalities of Russia, first of all Russian, and then a Jew. His native language is Russian, and he learned Ukrainian (as well as English) only after becoming president, as part of on-the-job training. He is culturally Russian, and before he became president, his comic routines were quite popular among Russians, as in (former) Ukraine and in Russia itself. But he is not at all funny in either Ukrainian (which he speaks tolerably well) or English (which he speaks mediocre and uses reluctantly). Obviously, his soul is with Russia.”

ParticipantI’m sorry for having missed out on this post by Amarynth, where she has already mentioned Pushkin’s birthday. Clearly, only an admirer of the prose and poetry of Pushkin would remember this date. But I must add that today is also my son’s birthday.

Participant“To the Slanderers of Russia” (1831)
by Alexander Pushkin
Today is his BirthdayWhat do you raise an outcry over, national bards?
Why do you threaten Russia with Anathema?
What stirred you up? The throes of Lithuania?
Desist: this is a strife of Slavs among themselves,
An old domestic strife, already weighed by fate,
An issue not to be resolved by you.
Long since among themselves
These tribes have been at war;
More than once has bent beneath the storm
Now their, now our side.
Who will prevail in the unequal strife:
The boastful Lekh, or the faithful Ross?
Will the Slavonic streams converge in the Russian sea?
Will it dry up? Here is the question.
Leave us alone: you have not read
Those bloody tablets;
To you is unintelligible, you is alien
This family feud;
Mute to you are the Kremlin and Praga;
Unthinkingly you are beguiled
By the valor of a desperate struggle –
And you hate us . . .
And for what? Reply: is it because
On the ruins of blazing Moscow
We did not acknowledge the insolent will
Of him under whom you quaked?
Because we hurled into the abyss
The idol heavy-looming over kingdoms,
And with our blood redeemed
Europe’s freedom, honour, and peace?
You are menacing in words – just try to be in action!
Is then the old thane, resting on his bed,
Unfit to mount his bayonet is Ismail?
Or is the Russian Tsar’s word powerless by now?
Or is it new to us to be at odds with Europe?
Or has the Russian grown unused to victories?
Are there too few of us? Or will, from Perm to Tauris,
From frigid crags of Finland to the flaming Colchis,
From the shaken Kremlin
To stagnant China’s walls,
Flashing with steely bristle,
Not rise the Russian land?
So send
Your embittered sons to us, vitia:
There is a place for them in the fields of Russia,
Among alien coffins. -
