ParticipantTurkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan decided to transfer the commanders of Azov (a terrorist group banned in Russia – ed.) to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. As previously agreed, these people were to remain in Turkey until the end of the armed conflict. Among the transferred commanders are Denis Prokopenko, Svyatoslav Palamar, Sergei Volynsky, Oleg Khomenko and Denis Shlega.
Erdogan, contrary to the agreements, did not comment on his decision to return the commanders. Despite the absence of official statements, the situation forces us to reconsider the assessment of Turkey’s position in relations with Russia and in relation to the current conflict. Apparently, it is becoming increasingly difficult to argue that Turkey is clearly supporting the Russian side.
Dmitry Peskov commented on Turkey’s transfer of the Nazis “Azov” to Ukraine in violation of agreements with the Russian Federation:
“In the context of preparations for the NATO summit, Turkey was under great pressure, and Ankara, as a member of the alliance, shows solidarity with him, the Russian Federation understands everything very well.
The decision to extradite the leaders of “Azov” to Kiev in violation of the agreements is directly related to the failures in the counteroffensive of Ukraine.
And Turkey itself, of course, in this way, being a member of NATO, shows its solidarity with the alliance. We are well aware of this,” Peskov said.

Participant“1993: The Barry R. Posen Plan for War on Russia via Zombie State Ukraine”
https://www.thepostil.com/1993-the-barry-r-posen-plan-for-war-on-russia-via-zombie-state-ukraine/“The Morgese case study is a blow-by-blow review of the US military activity in the Ukraine between 1993 and 2001, designed to set up the Ukraine for her destruction. So detailed a review, that it would swamp the layman. Accordingly, we propose another document dating from 1994, readable by the laymen amongst us, and which spells out thirty years in advance, the full-blown War Plan for a zombie Ukraine. Its author, Barry R. Posen (Rand, CFR, MIT, Woodrow Wilson Foundation).”
“For obvious reasons, only Posen’s assessment of Russian military strength is dated. The remainder of his study predicts with such ghastly exactitude both events in the Ukraine over the last 20 years and the expected, indeed hoped for, Russian response, that one readily perceives that this is no prediction, but rather a fully-formed proposal for War—”
It lays out, in great detail, in just 47 pages, the future war between Ukraine and Russia, and pretty much gets everything right. The psychological factor: “If Ukraine cannot devise a host of ways to convince its neighbors that it can find a million soldiers willing to die on any day for the sovereignty of the country, then the deterrent power of this military system will be weak.”
“Encourage the Ukrainians to Blow Up their Own Cities and Infrastructure:”
“Extensive demolitions would supplement more conventional military operations to slow the attackers’ progress, and complicate their subsequent logistics. Much of this could be organized well in advance; critical facilities can be “pre-chambered” to speed the placement of explosives. Necessary explosives can be cached close to the designated targets, under the control of local police forces or reserve military formations, as is done in Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, and even Germany. As the Ukrainians retreat into geographical areas where Ukrainians constitute a greater ethnic majority, it may prove possible to organize “stay-behind” forces to collect intelligence on the Russians and engage in partisan warfare. This too should be planned in advance.”It does seem the full-blown military-technical operation was planned in exquisite detail, as far back as 1994.

ParticipantI would say it’s quite difficult to copy dulcet the tone of Ornella Vanoni when evoking yearning, nostalgia, and melancholy for something that has been truly lost.
This song presents an interesting date,

Participant“L’appuntamento” – The Appointment
by Ornella Vanoni
A translation:
I’ve been mistaken so many times by now that I already know
that today almost certainly
I was wrong about you once more
that you can change my life
and accept this strange appointment
has been a madness!Love, make it happen soon
I don’t resist
I don’t exist
I don’t exist, I don’t existI am sad amongst the people
that are passing nearby
but the nostalgia of seeing you again
is stronger than all weeping
the sun shines on my face as a sign of hope
I am waiting when suddenly
You appear at a distance! It is necessary to end this soon
to remember that I exist
That I exist
That I existCar lights, shop windows, streets
everything seems so confusing
my shadow is tired of following me
the day ends slowly
And to leave now
to return to my house
to my despairing life
this life that I wanted to give to you
has been crumbled between your fingersSudhi
ParticipantA week after returning from a Summit meeting with US President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday dialled Russian President Vladimir Putin and informed him on his “international contacts”, including ones during his recent visit to Washington, said a Kremlin readout.
https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/nation/russian-president-putin-and-pm-modi-agree-to-further-boost-bilateral-strategic-ties-discuss-ukraine-war-521582
In connection with the events of June 24 (revolt by the Wagner chief) in Russia, PM Modi expressed understanding and support for the decisive actions of the Russian leadership to protect law and order, ensure stability in the country and the security of its citizens. The conversation came a day after National Security Advisor Ajit Doval spoke to his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev.
“The conversation was substantive and constructive. The leaders reaffirmed their mutual intention to strengthen the special and privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India and agreed to maintain contact,” said the Kremlin readout.
https://www.rt.com/india/578991-putin-holds-phone-talks-with/
From April 2022 through February 2023, bilateral trade reached a record $45 billion, well beyond the target of $30 billion by 2025 set by both leaders several years back. Russia has moved from 25th to 7th place among Indian trading partners, after the US, China, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Indonesia. While the leaders reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening the privileged strategic partnership, special attention was given to interactions within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the Group of Twenty (G20), where India currently holds the chairmanship, as well as within the BRICS format, the official statement noted. Modi also briefed Putin about his recent international contacts, including during his visit to Washington.

ParticipantForwarded from Older than Edda :
“I kept thinking that the burning of the Koran in Sweden reminds me, and I realized that this is a direct copy of Homer’s Iliad. The king of Ithaca, Odysseus, had recently married, a little Telemachus was born to him, and he was not at all attracted to go to fight near Troy because of the woman Menelaus who had fled to Paris. When they decided to “hand over the summons” to Odysseus, he pretended to be insane, put an ox and a donkey into the plow and began to sow the field with salt. But the military medical commission in the person of Palamedes saw through the cunning of King Ithaca and he left his homeland for 20 years, leaving first for general mobilization for a ten-year war, and then for another 10 years he could not find his way home.
Sweden, as for me, in this case also decided to play the fool, hoping that now Ankara will definitely block its entry into NATO and Stockholm will quietly continue to make Ikea furniture and Volvo cars. For the sake of this, Stockholm is ready to do anything, even despite the fact that a huge Muslim community lives in Sweden itself. For the sake of justice, we note that Sweden is not Odysseus at all, and NATO is now oh how far from the Greek army of Agamemnon.”
From the latest article by Rostislav Ishchenko :

But now the Rubicon is crossed. In Sweden, the Koran was once again burned…When someone burns the holy book of a religion that is alien to them, it can somehow be explained by deep beliefs (for example, atheistic) against the background of a lack of common culture. But when a product that is taboo from the point of view of this religion is pre — wrapped in this sacred book, this is a blatant deliberate provocation…The organizers of the action were well aware of this, and therefore demanded the protection of the police. The fact that they received it indicates that the state supported the provocation. The West deliberately split its society, believing that the total imposition of the ideology of” tolerance ” gives it more advantages than it brings problems.Sudhi

ParticipantThe further fate of “Wagner” and the loneliness of the conspirators:
https://www.kp.ru/daily/27522/4785552/
From the article :
What did you pay the most attention to in the words of Lukashenka, who told every second about the negotiations with Prigozhin?
– For example, that in Russia it is necessary to carry out a mass purge of potential oppositionists. Here is a quote from Lukashenka: “In Russia, a lot of people sit under the plinth in society. And there they have not yet begun work against them, as we are now cleaning up: blathered somewhere, looked, they checked the year 2020 – come here. It’s not there yet.”There are are many other Russian patriots and well wishers calling for such purge and cleansing of the Augean stables.
Recently Alexander Dugin joined @AussieCossack in calling for a great purge of cowardly elites and traitors in Russia. Russian political analysts, experts and members of the public agree on the need for a big purge in Russia.
“The time has come for the country to be completely cleansed of cowards and traitors. We need a purge of the elites, and in all the most important departments. Some have shown themselves to be heroes, others traitors and cowards,” Dugin declared.“Dugin: This is a turning point. Bifurcation point”
https://aftershock.news/?q=node/1260390
To summarize, there are two decisionist scenarios. Good and terrible.
1. A good script.
… we should now pay attention to the generalized program that Prigozhin hastily promulgated: society is sorely lacking in justice, honor, courage and intelligence on the part of the elites. It is so lacking that it causes a real explosion. So why not adopt this idea for the authorities themselves? Putin now (and always) is in the position that he can do it and he will definitely succeed. So:
– rotation of elites,
– punishment of cowards and traitors,
– encouragement of the faithful and brave,
– correction of ideology in the direction of patriotic consciousness, social justice and real inclusion of society in the war.
Less PR, more reality. And everything will fall into place.2. A terrible scenario. Leave everything as it is. Don’t change anything. Remove any mention of June 24 and its participants from the media and blogosphere. Criminalize any appeal to patriotism with a reference to mutiny. Blame everything on the West and its machinations. Draw a conclusion in favor of liberalism and flood everything with PR technologies and winning relationships. It was what happened that led to what happened. If nothing is changed, the disaster will repeat itself, and this time it will be fatal.

ParticipantDear AHH, Rostislav Ishchenko’s latest article has some thoughts that are very closely aligned with yours; “In War, it is such SOBs that carry the day, not soy-boys. A naked sword is a naked sword — there is inherent lack of grace, subtlety, manners, and utility outside of raw savaging. But none defends a Nation better….for the very rumour of the coming of Our Barbarians can sometimes cause the foe to flee or obviates the need for battle.”
https://ukraina.ru/20230627/1047573036.html :
“In any society, there are people who call themselves “dogs of war,” “wild geese,” etc. They don’t see themselves in a peaceful life. If they are not given the opportunity to satisfy their instincts, they will become dangerous to society (they will go into crime). If you help them to satisfy their desire to fight continuously, they will benefit society and the state, and some who are particularly lucky may even become national heroes. It is difficult for such people to fit into the state power structures. They are said to be an excellent fighter at the front, but a person who absolutely does not recognize any subordination, which can get away with in war, but is absolutely intolerable in peacetime. Previously, these people went into the wild mercenaries and fell into the semi-criminal gray zone. Now PMCs working within the framework of state regulation make it possible to take this movement under control and provide them with the opportunity to constantly conclude new contracts for war, and to ensure the protection of the law.”
Thankfully, even the longest day comes to an end
And God, in his benevolence, renews the world 🙏 -
