LPG tankships pack a higher power density, btw, and we also see no such ships in Red Sea.

I don’t see it in search, but in the 1970’s I recall that the energy release of LNG LPG air-fuel explosions on the scale of ship’s cargo are in the realm of atomic explosions in terms of blast and thermal radiation.  I used to read the marine industrial magazines and papers… Anybody can work out the ideal stoichiometry for CH4 in air…
