    Recalling the Power of Names…

    A cutting away of deceptions…

“With any luck the same fate still awaits the current leaders of the Bormann Brotherhood — aka the EU — but that seems far-fetched at this point, Down the road, who knows.”

(geewhiz, I wish I’d thought of that!)

bab al mandab sinking ship Oil-rail-ship-pipeline… It depends. The more it has to be handled the costlier. Rail can go almost directly from area of the field’s collecting tank farm to the refinery…both of which may be far from the sea and suitable terminals. I think pipeline are the cheapest, but they’re spendy to build, and made for essentially one “cargo”. Tankers run often with no cargo, in ballast, and they  can carry only oil. Rail can carry anything, pretty much.

Then there’s the question of torpedoes and rockets…

“convoy attack” das boot…(just a favorite film)

    ……………….

Democracy Romania…or Kansas. (I brought this up, the Kansas bit, before…)

It’s the Old Army Game, pick any card from the stacked deck…”Heads I win, tails you lose…”

“Brinkley got almost 30 percent of the vote, according to the website of the Kansas State Historical Society. But Republican Frank Haucke and Democrat Harry Woodring both received more, and Woodring won the governor’s office.

Some historians think Brinkley lost only because the state’s attorney general had ruled that votes for him wouldn’t count unless they gave his name properly as “J.R. Brinkley.” Many ballots didn’t give his name properly.”  (including rejecting ballots misspelling, or even with with non dotted “i”) In fact Brinkley won… (Ahgot family memorystories about it)

(I don’t imagine Romania has write in ballots)

Sal the Sailorman on the ramming of tanker. Notably he does not mention collision alarm. That’s to say a steady radar azmuth with closing range means a collision, unless one party changes direction or stops or reverses. I don’t know if the rammer had collision alarm or if they did if it was turned on. Nobody watching the radar? Who was on watch? It may indeed have been deliberate. Rammer evidently on autopilot…

That said, the tanker was at anchor in the track.

Anyway hit portside @ 16 kts midships. bang! nice square hit.

Come to think, I have vague memory from a ship radio operator of story> Cap come on bridge. No one there. Ship steams. Cap look for the watch. Finds ’em playing cards in the mess. When? Maybe 1965…

Kerosene… longtimeago there were two kinds. Illuminating and motor. The difference being vapor pressure and volatility. Otto cycle engines with spark plugs were not uncommonly designed to run on motor kerosene. To some extent they still are. I suppose motor kero evolved to jet kerosene.  Kero engines had to be low compression due to knock, therefore they had poor efficiency. They were safer than gasoline engines due to the explosive nature of gasoline fumes in air.

It’s said that the cargoship in collision is or was carrying sodium cyanide. 6.4 mg per 1 kilo is LD 50.

It’s soluble in water. Probably not in kero, but ahdunno about what chemistry might take place if the dissolved NaCN as steam vapor mixed with kero flames and smoke in a fire… and I wouldn’t wanna find out!

    Yeah, maybe accidentally on purpose?

The remarkable aspect of Operation Kursk is the lack of comprehension of the Great Military Scholars of zone naziwest who were and are directing the nazi army, their abject failure to see a trap as a trap. They define delusional.

In time the internal contradiction of fading criminal enterprise, like those of an infection, a disease, may be expected to act as any pathological process, ahem…with the natural result. Hence rational tag team wait for end result strategy.

Of the MOATS cronetoo posted elsewhere…

Seth R…  Some years ago in an interview Uncle Ray described a group of his cohort walking to, iirc, the Kennedy Center, through a DC park. Alistair Crooke among them. These fellows were all of spookish background, sophisticated fellas. Crooke dropped off “I’ll catch up with y’all” and they all understood that he was, Ray said, going to meet a contact. Ray, iirc, said that he suspected that the contact was Seth, and that the hand-off of the famous thumb drive with the Hillary emails was transfered there to Alistair, thence by some discrete means to wikileaks. I have never again seen that interview. I wish I had a copy. And suppose that RT does, since it must have been their channel that transmitted the footage I saw.

At MOATS Ray speaks of the Treaties. Let’s visit catch 22 again… The Prez swears to faithfully obey and enforce the laws of the United States. Treaties are US law, when they’re ratified. Then we see that presidents abrogate them by decree, or simply by action and mere statements. Then the administration, and the army, follows by actions, “deploying” soldiers and weapons. Does the President have authority to destroy a law, if so where in the Constitution do we see this stated?

This leads to the conclusion that treaties with the US are no more than the equivalent of verbal assurances from used car salesmen. And that more generally the Laws of the US are no better.

Quiz Question> How does this realpolitik not describe an insane and criminal contradiction?

Extra Credit> If the several agencies also do as they please, why would they obey the President?

Extra Extra Credit> Why would an Nth foreign State treat with the US?

(I’d like to see that clip again, memory is frail)

The quote from Daily Chronicle “(This is unbelievable – besides all the previous challenges, he has just been through four court battles – reason: Georgescu had “failed to comply with the rules of the electoral procedure, violating the very obligation… to defend democracy.”) ” Minds me of the western contradiction… Hey! did you feel that?
