Reiner Fuelmich in prison … made an example. yup. I hope they stop at this…but I am recalling two:

We shall overcome is not necessarily a passive statement. It is not significantly semantically distinguished from: “Our cause is just – the victory will be ours!” The tone is perhaps rather mild, but it can mean the same as Stalin’s promise. It’s somewhat ambiguous, as is suitable for a march or demonstration…but to the ears of cops and nazis it’s a threat and promise.
