THE First Russian Strike last night in a semi residential/ industrial area by a ballistic missile was condemned in media as blatant RUSSIAN ” targeting of civilian areas” But …. there’s a little bit more information that puts it onto perspective… Secondary explosions have been detonating all day, and photographs just released show that the building had an underground bunker/ stroage area . Russian partisans in the area have provided the Russian MoD with a comprehensive list of all munitions storage and manufacturing locations With Russian Air Force targeting these assets now 24.7… not too many will be going back to work….

(I actually have a wind tunnel I built, perhaps in the fullness of time I’ll screw ’round with the funny bumps…;) I gave my wind turbine to a relative, it worked pretty well as an occasional asset to the solar system…but the solar worked so well that we had more power than we could use…)

I wonder if the claim is that Betz Law must be revised, but I doubt it.

59.3 is already very good. Most heat engines are below 50% Most wind turbines run, on a good day, maybe 75% of their Betz Limit. Roughly 60 x .75 of the total energy.

Improvements in stall might be very protean. But the actual amount of power in a slow wind is very low…really not worth the payoff.

Even little wind turbines have serious dangers too, they throw ice, and blades…

photo-electric probably makes more sense…however there are locations where wind and water flow fast and steady…
