One result is that real-time human helm control is now highly advisable. So is celestial position finding and careful “dead-reckoning” plotting, and constant attention to the ship’s radar. Communication channel 16 in VHF radio is the standard way one ship converses with another to coordinate and avoid collision – expect Ch16 will be jammed locally – it’s line of sight – so near lands where there’s good elevation directional antenna arrays can be built to jam ships in littoral zone…like the several key straits…maybe out to 100km, or a bit more. The bridge detail will have to pay attention. I expect that the US ship logistic will become a target. Save torpedoes/rockets by hacking the “iron mikes” and grounding or colliding the ships. This avoids forensic analysis revealing who done it. Have fubar= blame the skipper. US sealift crewing is already strained. It’s a war, after all, and it’s going to be, is already, very hard. It’s notable that pretty much zero people involved can send and copy Morse – this is a great weakness. Celestial navigation require knowing the exact time. Expect the UTC signals to be spoofed and/or jammed. (UTC “universal coordinated time”)

Large peaks of excess all-cause mortality occurred immediately following the World Health Organization (WHO)’s March 11, 2020 COVID-19 pandemic declaration, in March-May 2020, in several jurisdictions in the Northern Hemisphere. The said large excess-mortality peaks are usually assumed to be due to a novel and virulent virus (SARS-CoV-2) that spreads by person-to-person contact, and are often referred to as resulting from the so-called first wave of infections. We tested the presumption of this viral spread paradigm using high-resolution spatial and temporal variations of all-cause mortality in Europe and the USA.
We studied excess all-cause mortality for subnational regions in the USA (states and counties) and Europe (NUTS statistical regions at levels 0-3) during March-May 2020, which we call the “first-peak period”, and also during June-September 2020, which we call the “summer-peak period”.
The data reveal several definitive features that are incompatible with the viral spread hypothesis (in comparison with qualified predictions of the leading spatiotemporal epidemic models):

I disagree with his tone and evident pessimistic view of the outcome.
