Note that the Bill of Rights, like the rest of the US Constitution, does not give rights, it prohibits the State from passing laws limiting natural rights, pre-existing rights from God. Since Lincoln’s War on the Constitution this fact has been increasingly ignored, and the Bill of Rights turned inside-out. The right to be armed turned into permission at the whim of state power, and the right to speak? We see this too “limited”…and it may be that L’affaire Candice will result in the further destruction of this most basic natural right, at least in Law…such as it is… Note that natural rights cannot be taken away, only prohibited by force.
Incredibly, the Macrons may succeed in their action. If so, L’affaire Candice will mark another milestone in the transition from failed empire to fascist, crypto-nazi, (or outright bald nazi) dictatorship…along with Weimar style financial and social collapse, as Michael Wolff seems to expect.

New pickups issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense based on the Niva….I assure you that the vaulted HumVee is over-rated…too wide to drive between trees, too noisy, too heavy, when they were first issued me an’ my pals checked ’em out and agreed that a WW2 Jeep was a better vehicle, though a modern motor and 4 speed manual trans would improve the old Jeep. I do criticise the Ruskie Niva though…stay with carburettors fellas, they can be fixed in the field. Our boys would have trouble with the Ruskie Niva-Jeep though…they can’t manage stick-shifts!
