Participantthe mic gloats dumping crapola on surrogates—could it have blow back? i don’t follow arms sales & money but look forward to learning how to follow the flow of arms, its quicksands & grenades, following the money is beginning to bore. 🙂

Participantsun teaches us to cover our faces, it’s simply cooler, as well as something to shield us from the dust, soot, or passing raspy scoots, an umbrella sans the inconvenience of having to remember or lug it. sigh. we few lost in the west shall eventually discover the wisdom of dress facilitating its own breeze & shade. these early days of change, climate & humility, reveal to us how very much we have to learn. blessings.
& thank you, ahh, for the video on kazan. a lifelong yearning to visit strangely satisfied within a reawakening.

Participantthank you, dear ahh, for sharing this video. watching it i realized fully why city (or the metropolis as our indian diplomat refers to it) destroys faith & the concept of a higher good, God. the people collected, bonded & holding faith & hope above all illusions of safety & protection are magnificent & powerful. i suppose city glimpsed it those years past in france, possibly had fomented it, & wickedly diverted it…but history does not repeat & here in this divine crowd we have the joy of watching history rhyme, souls united, awakening us globally, through the stink of DU, cluster bunnies & fukus, very like a morning house finch resurrecting beauty & hope.
blessings.

Participantindelibly painted, dear ahh. tragically precise. yet i shall cling to hope, hope that mother, china, iran, lebanon & syria, palestine, niger & africa can ‘dither’ with success. delivering us from evil.

Participantnureyev left the ground, it’s true few dancers outside of russia do, in the west our dancers are essentially gymnasts, not very adept @ that, while in russia the physical prowess & agility serve as the launching pad, allowing the artist to lift the audience along with the composer in search of the heavens.

Participantthank you, ahh, i’ve been waiting for news, searching the intertubes but most has been a rehash or dubious speculation. something is afoot, that’s for sure. bubble bubble an ah that. the junta (my dubious speculation) has prepared itself well for these moves, for there won’t be a single. time for once (& finally!) is on africa’s side, & playing the long game, preparing well, securing their treasure & populations serves africa & sets empire’s evil $ nearer the flames’ edge. empire is in hurry up mode, their toupees mayn’t yet be on fire but soon, very soon we will see think tanks declaring there is nothing to be done but to set their hair alight, take off their clothes & throw them out the window, shouting, this is it, there is nothing else…no other recourse…hurry hurry jump, trust us we’ll come along soon, very soon.
blessings.

Participantisn’t it probable, empire will renege on its debt? isn’t it likely that the global majority has factored this in, as the preferred option?

Participanti haven’t read borges for years, i was very young. i went from there to the greeks & euripides. i’ve learned not to revisit my old gods, rains of time will wash the clay away. perhaps if our times were not so crucial i might spend some winter’s eve delving through the library, but i fear it might be like revisiting george elliot only to discover she was a suffragette for israel. thank you for the candle held in front of the coptic panels, & treasured ethiopian crosses.

Participantlavrov! our master charms the snakes, the rats & gulls, imagine how a wounded old colleague confides his deceptions & sins while lavrov blesses him with time, grace & a gentle word on the winds of change, perhaps a nudge on how to mend one’s ways as well as retrieve his abducted loved ones from empire’s beak.

Participantthank you, dear ahh, your observations are the refreshing cooling fruit juice popsicle required.
jorge luis borges & the library he called home inspired my love for argentina. i haven’t followed soccer but appreciate the global bonds it inspires. i’d forgotten argentina’s nazi component, which i encountered as a child, argentine polo players often came in search of our ponies. they had an arrogance & cruelty that caused even dirt poor horseman to refuse the sale. training their ponies, & generally the ponies most favoured had an independent streak & strength that was most sought after, involved tying them to a pole & applying the whip until the necessary effect was achieved without utterly destroying the will. like oncologists ministering drugs to alleviate pain without killing the patient. a heartbreaking process which as a ten year old i couldn’t comprehend. like many things in life, argentina is a complicated beauty. & i rejoice with this inclusion, even if the nazis will try to undo the good & break the hope of brics, it will hold, brics is true & good, & the nazis will be defeated, without the pole & whip but rather with the immaculate weapon of hope & prosperity. impossible to defeat.
algeria! thank you for your keen thoughts & speculations. i’d begun to hope that algeria was a confident & rather than feeling shunted, as some such as modi or the bedouins may have felt, i liked to imagine algeria understood & had helped formulate the plan forward. you are spot on, egypt is crucial, ethiopia is crucial. the gerd if it can be peacefully harmoniously resolved the world & certainly the mediterranean will be a better place. china & russia, iran & algeria can see the profit in this. agreed about the prized egyptian mind, i’ve encountered numerous mathematicians & physicists the world over, esteemed & unique. thank you for broadening my understanding regarding the muslim brotherhood, i did not know mi6 created them, but it certainly spits true. i studied walsingham for some years, a mind which has impacted the west as fully as newton’s. & the grain hub, i hadn’t fully grasped its importance when i’d first skimmed the consideration of transferring it from turkey—bravo, indeed, a brilliant stroke, & fully accessible to the countries most in need.
looking @ the sheer power, the fabulous wealth of uae & sa, the oil (yes, venezuela will surely be soon) alongside brazil, russia & iran, how long before nigeria also decides which side will be greener? the resources, the population?? yes, it is an overwhelming tidal wave & one to celebrate. xi’s speech, lavrov’s good guidance, wang yi’s measured brilliant strokes all champion that there is no turning back, only a gentle moving forward for the betterment of all.
thank you, ahh, you bring so much. amarynth thank you for globalsouth.co a monumental site, scouting & archiving these historical waters. blessings all.

Participantargentina surprised me, i was deeply saddened by argentina’s government’s spineless submission & @ first hoped it was merely a decoy, but the news throughout the day continued to confirm the tragic stupidity & the spiralling future of argentina & her long suffering people was bitter. so this morning’s news was marvellous. however, i am surprised (head shake as it seems daily) that algeria wasn’t included. i had guessed algeria was a for sure. dear ahh, please, when you’ve a moment could you share your take on this? blessings, gratitude & appreciation.

ParticipantMr P, i have not read The Confidence Man, & here i’d imagined my days of reading literary fiction were through. 😉 beautiful thoughts & words, MrP & dear dear ahh, perhaps our world, our global globe, will in time return to God’s garden.
when i was young my most enduring thought was that we chose our parents, our place & birth. i remember viewing a very large book which magically upon each page’s turning revealed a theatre, a scene & the actors engrossed in playing out their roles, only a microsecond & the page flipped to another scene another world another set of characters, & the pages turning in a blur until suddenly for no reason i said yes & the page drew me in & i was part of the scene, acquainting myself with the actors. for much of my youth i wondered why i had chosen these people, my parents, when i could’ve chosen any other. i came to believe that with these people i was granted the very ground to nurture what it was my soul most needed to evolve. & my purpose was simple, for while i may not noticeably affect events i could assume the task of witnessing & holding faith through this our Time’s great chrysalis. & here we are joined actively pursuing truth while holding faith. i am blessed, thank you.

Participantdear ahh, upon reading & reading your posts, alongside amarynth’s & mr.P’s, it has come to me that america occupies the exact same point as 404! where 404 may be experiencing a dawning, america’s is some long hours away, hiding out in another time zone where america snoozes, dreams of its great prowess & empire’s calvary about to intervene. america may well be empire’s last sacrificial bull nevertheless america is on the spit & hasn’t yet discerned the touch of heat or the sweet scent of scorched flesh.
