Isn’t this site (blog) exquisite?? Additionally, commentators here can combine (embed) audiovisual content enhancing dialogue. When done right, this fully engages the senses and helps directs the intellect.
The “main site” are all pages of this blog outside the Hearty Salon forum, or outside the new fora to be added as this site keeps growing. More fora are planned with educational foci such as political economy with M Hudson, Africa, China, [K-Pop gazing too? It may be an extinct niche soon.. we need to save videos!], etc..
“Self isolate” means I’m rapping my own knuckles by self-restricting commentary on main pages. Transient tactical retreat (in good order) to the Salon.. Sudan update

Thx Sudhi, Persian was lingua franca of the Old Silk Road.. what will it be now?? I heard Urdhu is an even sweeter language, an amalgamation of Persian, Hindi, Arabic?? Regardless, the language of Poets. We miss Dimitar! He’s on a loong walkabout.
I suspect the lingua franca of the New Silk Road will be Russian.
Most of the central land nodes once step west of Xinjiang (Central Asia, Caucasus, Russia proper) were all former USSR and thus know Russian. So their default is Cyrillic and Russian, having molded them for 150+ years.
I don’t think Turkic dialects are mutually intelligible throughout the vast Turkic lands??
And as West Asia fully turns from the West, and the latter withers, losing prestige and influence, and its poisonous media and most interactions are banned and blocked, and Russia rises higher and higher, people will follow the winner.. so they will learn Russian there too. They already flock to Russian and Chinese schools like Africans..
English will go the way of Latin and Aramaic.. the language of the concerned scholars of a particularly frenzied period of the forgotten past.ZZzzzzzzzz……………
