Fog of War remains heavy. I suspect all four were served evictions, but Niger discretely publicized only Frenchie’s fate.. US State Dep may be lyin’ as usual. Let’s see what unfolds…
Meanwhile Frenchie makes bizarre public motion of demurral, refusing the eviction notice by the authorities in firm power. If this is not another impotent bluff, it may mean action is imminent.. Niger’s accordingly raised armed forces readiness to highest level.

BlockedOh boy. Let’s buckle up.
Niger’s going no holds barred. It has additionally demanded the German and the new US Ambassador to also leave within 48 hours..
I need 36 hours per day!!
➡️ Dont tell me this is unrelated to L’affaire Prigozhin. Russia must be red hot angry, in addition to Moscow being droned every night now. What guarantees did it give to the Juntas? What’s enroute and going down???? Over and out
➡️ Also note today, Peskov cancelled Putin’s attendance in G20 @ India in 2.5 weeks, thought in part due to an imminent offensive. On which continent and against whom?
Some rumours say the culprit who placed the bomb in the Chef’s plane was the plane owner, who then ran to Alaska via Russian far east.. the brazeness of the attack on a Russian elite over Moscow itself, and after Biden threatened him with assassination, is too much. A response underway is likely, in light of the sudden dramatic change in Niger..

Let’s sleep on this. Heavy fog of war…

BlockedDetails on Intrigues at the BRICS horse-trading show…
➡️ India – China relationship remains toxic.
- Russia was middleman during the expansion haggling in BRICS Summit.
- India wanted just three new members, China TEN..
- [from another source: India leery of admitting those who would raise Chinese influence or profile!]
- South Africa, who pushed for Ethiopia at last minute, was decisive..
- emerson, pl note Pepe’s words on Algeria in sync with what said earlier
- emerson, pl note Pepe’s view on Argentinian elites (@ 22: “…these are among the most rapacious arrogant ignorant and toxic comprador elites on the planet, and believe me I’ve seen a few all over the world in almost 40 years as a foreign correspondent…”). We weren’t far off.. His Judgment that Argentina will work out with BRICS: “slim.” It’s a long shot and prayer by Lula and China….
- China wanted the major oil & gas producers, India on good terms with them too, and Russia of course delighted to bring in OPEC+ and help kill off dollar
➡️ BRICS-15, BRICS-20, BRICS-40 on the pipeline..
I just read Russia saying they will push for Belarus and Kazakhstan next year.. I heartily agree about KZ, which should be priority to lock-in those schizophrenic elites, heavily seduced by USUK. Pepe adds Algeria, KZ, Venezuela to likely be part of next batch too. Can you say, bye bye petrodollar?? That would be ~ 90%+ of global oil reserves …➡️ BRICS bank (NDB) conducts almost 100% of its loans in USD (!!!) Boss Dilma says aim “to get to 30%” WTF!!! I read this elsewhere week ago but thought it was a bad joke. Apparently it is true. And explains why they are so ineffective with hardly any input into Global South. They are afraid of sanctions by Usual Suspects. This is frank internal sabotage. What the hell is their purpose? To drink fine Indian tea and chitchat? The key driver of BRICS atm is economics and becoming an alternative financing mechanism and they gelded themselves ! Where is Col? And the pitchforks?
➡️ Russia’s BRICS presidency on Jan 1, 2024, concurrent with accession of new six members, begins in 4 months and a week. One feels that the devilishly active, creative and fearless Russian Foreign Ministry and their other “gang-members” will not waste the coming year… So there will be a full-court press on the four new weaker members, especially GCC two, who need to survive the interim storm (palace coups? Rival factions galore); watch for intensifying civil war in Ethiopia too…

BlockedMr P, one of the most striking lessons I learned about ways states permit murder to take place was taught by L. Prouty deconstructing the JFK assassination. It can be indirect, subtle, twice removed and unobtrusive to the larger society. Just pull the ones protecting the King.
He spent time going over the decreased number covering Dealey Plaza, the crawling pace breaking all SS protocol, the open windows and lack of roof coverage overlooking the site, again against protocol; the last minute diversion into the unsecured side street which did not have the robust controlled flow and reconnaissance of the main street, and so on. Just going by this, it was clear the SS was in on it. And who besides the State (the deep state) can influence such radical changes?
MKB’s latest brilliant piece similarly hints how the Russian state could have indirectly ensured the given outcome, certain with the countless enemies. He said, “Prigozhin was a dead man walking for staging such an idiotic act, after his security cover was withdrawn by the state…”
Unfortunately the “wrong” enemy got to him first, and at worst time, but that’s life. But even there, on reflection, most humanity will exclude Russia from attribution using the fine logic in the fine article. And condemn the West even more as lawless Pariahs.
Was the Chef’s fate sealed four moves ago by his state, when he went outside the law? Highly likely

African Continuity and local Preparations
In Niger, the Sahel, and other African states in coordination with Russia, the name of the game is continuity. I disagree the killing of Wagner top team weakens Russia at all, in stark difference with MKB. As I showed in last Salon, Wagner was already on its way out in Africa, by active collusion of Russian Min of Defense and many receptive African states. Prigozhin’s last trip was a desperate move to stay relevant…
In fact, this change complicates matters for Empire. They will deal henceforth with open Russian state intervention, and more empowered African state armies, per wishes of Egypt and many, rather than the whimsical private military companies. They will be ground in Africa the way Ukies are ground in 404 — out of existence or into surrender. This will really start off efficient industrial hunting of desert marauders, other proxies and the legionnaires themselves. They will soon pine for the Chef they foolishly offed.
Meanwhile, Niger continues preparing for war..

BlockedPutin will not attend in person the G20 in India, held in just 2.5 weeks. This is good news. Even with friendly governments in power, the Anglophones are too infiltrated and rife with potential assassins. Complicating it will be the presence of Biden and the entire G7 posse. And the West continues baying for his murder. Prigozhin’s murder will not be the last.
Like South Africa, all Anglophones should be avoided until the nazi HQs are submitted.
AHH
BlockedAhh, that point is near Mr P! And your scripts ever improve.. the problem of the nazis is that the opposing side is a Hydra too. Lop off a head, it only strengthens, more determined. This is battle of Ideas, not mere men..
Ok gallows humor.
Pl forgive in advance! From a TG comment:
“…. We can be sure that Prigozhin is dead but with a slight grain of doubt. Not the first time he died in a plane crash. But I think this is the last one…”I’ll be putting up a new Open Thread. Its banner fits into the metaphysical musings!

BlockedYes, was it M Hudson who said debts that cannot be paid won’t be paid? But it is only a first move.. others get their bid too.
I saw an interesting article recently which anticipated countermoves — for example, countries under odious debt renounce their debt. The West confiscates their holdings. Then the Global South nationalizes their own industries, resources and infrastructure which were maliciously privatized by Economic Hitmen. And so on.
And the Rest of Humanity enjoys the greater balance, like Russia looted of its forex by the West (most do not admit Russia holds more Western holdings within Russia as hostage!) So it is a game the RoH will win…
and what can the West do, bereft of military supremacy?? And all furiously dedollarizing and shifting to alternate exchange mechanisms, trade supply chains and logistics? A great decoupling is already underway, anticipating the next futile moves of the Pidgeon strutting so bravely on what it delusionally considers its own board, lol!
I think all this has been gamed and may be largely going according to plan. As the dying Parasite flails and sanctions all and even the Sun for emitting Heat, it slowly deflates under the decoupling underway, as new institutions and mechanisms arise to avoid a catastrophic collapse. That is the primary determinant atm. How to decouple from the crazed without suffering such harm.
So time is of the essence, to while it away, and redirect them toward futile rear marches and attacks which alienate even more and recruit them to multipolarity.
It will go in fits and starts. The multipolar side have their own huge issues, as we see every day, even without western MSM sabotage. It is like herding cats. Most nations, like most humans, do not think strategically, and harm the desired process underway. Nevertheless, the sum vector is encouraging and at this point irreversible. But let’s strap into our belts! Turbulence ahead!

BlockedYikes! I’ve always disliked polo, in spite of the blown fake prestigious image. Was it seeing Prince Charles cavorting around like a clown?! Yes, it doesn’t surprise, the innate cruelty of nazis.
That being said, some Argentines I knew were exceptional humanitarians and loved by us all. A colleague, who I met during training in the US, was very capable, amazing can-do spirit. iirc, he was an army reservist back in Argentina and didn’t take crap. And one of the all time loved athletes, Gabriella Sabatini, and their tennis players in general, were graceful. I spent entire years of my life wasted watching them play — not so much the competition (as in fútbol they usually lost, lol) but the strokes and movement and anticipation and feel for the ball. True elegant artists who approached their craft with care; only French came close, and they were even greater losers!
I agree, they are a complicated lot, in such a varied society! And I agree their nazis cannot overcome BRICS. All of Argentina can fit into 2.5 Chinese cities… all they bring is image and location; not too much harm can be done, right?
I disliked Borges, but then I was a teen then forced to read him (in original Spanish when I had never set foot on a Spanish speaking country!). Was then immature. I loved the “Gran Columbian” Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a sappy romantic. His love for life and unrequited love and the madness of elites was appreciable to all.
Welcome back HT! Yes, emerson is spot on. I’d focused on Egypt, but Ethiopia is as strategic. This is why it was in first wave. The WHO chief is a negative! But we won’t hold against them a functionary who sold his soul long ago.
Christianity entered Abyssinia in 34 AD?? Coptic to this day, unbowed by the 19th Century Colonization Rape of Africa, today they host the AU and a vibrant economy. I saw the warm reception Putin accorded their president in July Afro-Russia Summit, and Lavrov’s visited how many times?! 4-6x in just last 3 years. One of the banner photos of a Lineaments was Lavrov sitting at the Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Coffee was first cultivated in Abyssinia, thence to Yemen, where it became a prized exclusive export until its secret was stolen by a Dutchman who spread it far. And Ethiopia was a friend protected by the Tzar from the western wolves in 19th Century too. So a long relationship with Russia, and currently one of the top 3 FDI of China into Africa for last 20 years, and a gateway into East/Central Africa alongside Mombasa, Kenya port.
With Nigeria a current abject vassal of USUK, and South Africa already representing the southern region, and West Africa a mess atm, Ethiopia makes easy sense as sub-Saharan majority nation and regional power of East Africa. Imagine what stabilizing both Egypt and Ethiopia will do to the critical Red Sea, as they sit on the two ends… some commentators are already calling it a BRICS lake, lol! Let’s solve Sudan first.

Wagner PMC is being dismantled both in Belarus and in Africa…. brick by brick, no pun intended.
This is driven not only by necessity, an abundance of caution since what occurred, but demarches by Egypt and others rightfully concerned by unaccountable mercenary forces. Will a new foreign legion, explicitly coupled to Rus MoD arise? Time will tell. But there is a proven advantage to deploying auxiliaries putatively in the gray zone, matching the dastardly side.. a force multiplier. Let’s see the evolution and how it is rebranded

BlockedThe assassination of the Chef, drainage of radioactive waste water into the Pacific by the occupied fascist concubine Japan, and now the imminent arrest of whipping boy Trump…. going just by this full-court press of optical sleights-of-hand in last 24 hours on the finishing day of BRICS Summit, the BRICS Summit was a smashing success. Wow. One can cut the panic with a dull, rusting, antique French butter knife.
Emerson, I remembered Argentina may be schizophrenic due to its strategic location and generational Parasitism. 1% of its population (per controlled wiki) is Jewish and speaks Yiddish. This percentage increased since 2003 destabilization of the Levant, with ongoing reverse flows, even admitted by Wiki. Huge swathes of Patagonia were bought decades ago, ostensibly retirement tracks and innocent kibbutzes, but the Israeli army trains there regularly, iirc annually. It was mooted along with Uganda and Palestine as the Jewish National Home in the late 1800s heyday of Zionism. How many of its current Oligarchs are Zionist?? Do they enjoy preponderant influence, as in USA/Europe?? So it is entangled and may serve as a trojan horse within BRICS. But again, it also brings side benefits to the multipolar side…
AHH
BlockedHi emerson, I don’t have comfort with Argentina. Hopefully Jorge can say something. He’s from a neighbor and was only one expecting they would join BRICS…
It’s likely a factional fight, as in Brazil? Pro- vs Anti-Empire. Some of those elites see themselves as constituent members of rootless supranationalists. Some are frank European nazis from WW2 ratlines. They do not see themselves having neither allegiance to new soil nor responsibility to their captive populations, which they abuse.
But the allure and heft of Argentina is worth it. Larch would understand it, and why he was equally sorrowful yesterday. Emerson, few nations enjoy the soft power and love worldwide — maybe wholly due to the exploits of their fútbol teams! Spunky short runts that conquered all! And such beautiful team colors, built on equally exquisite flag. Who hasn’t heard of Maradonna or Messi, top players in their sport’s history? So all this draws in the Global South.

And Russia via Lavrov said this explicitly, that they recruit leaders and influencers into BRICS, to help move multipolarity along. (Photo) Most humans are lazy, comfortable to stay in the unwholesome status quo, even in existential fights and facing the inflection point and opportunity of a millennia! So some will be dragged into multipolarity, and helped to abandon Hegemony, by the undeserved beauty of Argentina. It is immaterial much of its Oligarchs are satanic and neoliberal quasi-fascists. Even they follow their wallets towards China. And most youthful and impressionable nations will now find this a chic club, and run to join. Even imperial poodle Chile, and many other Latinos can be swayed to abandon Monroe Doctrine.
I do hope to see Venezuela and Bolivia next, two plucky warrior nations, who’ve survived much.
I was disappointed about Algeria too. But there is an opaque horse trading going on. Even Pepe didn’t know the very hour before they decided! I suppose among the priorities this time were (1) not to enlarge too fast so as to not risk devaluing the brand. Btw, Lavrov said they would keep the name “BRICS” as it is a good brand, and not keep changing it every 6 months or so, as they steadily expand. And China and Russia want rapid expansion, which is good.
(2) As this was “the Year of the African BRICS,” I agree Egypt and Ethiopia have priority. You need at least two more Africans, given the scale we discussed, and one at least from sub-Sahara. And since bringing in KSA-Iran duo was a priority, one also needs to bring in the UAE to avoid hissy-fits with falling behind its bitter rival KSA, that’s enough arabs and muslims. And UAE in the fold means less shenanigans for Little Sparta, as it will be forced to get civilized. And its deep wallets are needed.
Egypt is strategic. Location location location, at junction of Africa, Levant, Arabia and Asia. Suez. Along with Syria the moral and intellectual leader of Arabs. A proud civilization of countless millennia. Top army in Africa and bulwark against Zionist cancer entity which is its NE neighbor. It may replace Turkey as the Russian grain hub into Africa.
And it has to be dissuaded against war on Ethiopia due to the GERD dam over the contested Nile waters. And to help put out war in Sudan. It is as infiltrated as Brazil and Argentina by pro-Empire elements, both Muslim Brotherhood (created in Egypt by MI6!) and within military Junta too. Its currency and economy is as weakened and impoverished by usual suspects as is Turkey. Most Egyptian physicians have fled abroad to earn a living. They are strange nomads, like Cubans and Indians, among best docs in world, found throughout the world, especially in Arabia.
Here’s from informed Egyptian source, why he thinks they were selected:

So stabilizing beleaguered Egypt takes precedence over Algeria, which is largely OK. And there is slim to no chance Algeria will pivot to Empire, given its bitter French experience, and ongoing travails with Anglo-French terrorism and the Sahel crisis, as well as Moroccan perfidy. And Putin feted her President at SPIEF in June as summit central guest, and is selling an alleged $40 B (!!) worth of arms to Algeria. So is there a rush to cement Algeria within the brave new world?! They are already in the vanguard.
(3) We need deep pockets to fund the brave new world. China cannot do it alone. So I suspect, in addition to encouraging their abandonment of the Petrodollar, a key reason to bring in the GCC in the first wave is to help fund the NDB. This will be their contribution. We shall see

Wagner’s being eased out of Africa, at least under current configuration. Russian Mil making visits, knocking on state doors. Was the Chef’s last trip to the Sahel a desperate sales pitch, aware the clock was ticking?
We talked about this end of June. Russia would change its PMC model. Lavrov hinted at same. Even those Africans who elect to keep Wagner, it will be a fully controlled beast, no longer loose canons, with a new crew in charge.
