The French position in favor of Israel at a time when the latter is governed by an ultra-extremist government formed by corrupt and messianist madmen dreaming of genocide, breaks brutally with a certain French diplomatic tradition perceived as balanced between the two parties. This positioning mimics that of the senile Joe Biden administration risks harming France’s interests in the Middle East and Africa in addition to risks concerning the possible loss of energy and arms contracts.

What we call far-right in France and its real or counterfeit movements, traditionally anti-Semitic in the true etymological sense of the term, have objectively and opportunely allied themselves with Zionism not by affinity but because the Palestinian question is in general but not absolutely, more or less supported by Muslim populations with immigrant backgrounds. This unnatural rapprochement, which is not new, forces the Élysée to review a certain number of calculations and to maneuver tightly in a political system using a scarecrow as a hare for access to power.
