2) The Iranian revolution is an ongoing process. The blow struck by the Iranian masses in 1979 still reverberates to this day but there are dangers facing the revolution. The presence of so many compromising elements within the Iranian bourgeois was a surprise to me but made complete sense once I’d read the material from the 10 Mehr comrades. The Iranian revolution survived the US (via the Iraqi Ba’athists) attempt to destroy it in the 1980s thanks to the self sacrifice and heroism of the masses. If Iran is to prevail then the masses must rise again to secure the sovereignty and independence of Iran against US imperialism, its paid agents (MEK etc) and also against those who keep trying to prostrate Iran before the west.

3) The war will end with the final removal of US and British imperialism from the region and the next phase of the national liberation struggle will unfold. The imperialists will not make this easy but will desperately prop up the zionist regime for as long as they can, they know that if it goes down then so do they. This will be tempered by the realities of their own decline and their forces being spread between Ukraine, West Asia and South East Asia however. The imperialists cannot fight on three fronts. Sooner or later they will have to prioritise one over the others. Ukraine will be sacrificed first but then it will be a tough argument over whether the imperialists go after China or prioritise holding on in West Asia.
