⭕ US, Israel reject Egypt’s Gaza planWashington said the Gaza reconstruction plan presented by Arab states at the Arab League summit fails to take into account the reality that the enclave is “uninhabitable.”
National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes said Donald Trump would stick to his earlier plan to evict Palestinians from Gaza. Israel also said it wanted to give Trump’s initiative a chance because the Egyptian plan “does not reflect the realities of the situation.”
Arab leaders backed Egypt’s Gaza reconstruction plan at an emergency Arab League summit in Cairo on Tuesday, where they called for a long-term solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

⭕ 🇨🇳👻🇦🇺🇳🇿 Rising Tensions in the Asia-PacificWhile global attention remains focused on the conflict in Ukraine, tensions in the Asia-Pacific region are escalating. On one side, China is increasing its military activity, while on the other, regional nations and their NATO allies are stepping up their presence.
Last week, a Chinese naval task force conducted live-fire drills—not just anywhere, but in the Tasman Sea, near the coasts of Australia and New Zealand. The task force included the guided-missile destroyer Zunyi, the frigate Hengyang, and the replenishment ship Weishanhu.
Notably, the Chinese military informed New Zealand in advance via radio channels but did not notify Australia, triggering a wave of alarm in Australian media. In response, Australia scrambled reconnaissance aircraft and deployed naval assets to monitor the Chinese fleet.
The Australian side sent the frigate HMAS Arunta (FFH 151) and a P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft, while New Zealand deployed the frigate HMNZS Te Kaha and another Poseidon aircraft. The Chinese forces completed their drills and continued their journey, skirting the Australian coastline. Meanwhile, debates erupted in Australia over whether China was conducting reconnaissance to identify strategic vulnerabilities.
From a regional security perspective, tensions in the Asia-Pacific have not been this high in years. China is operating farther south than usual, NATO is expanding its presence in a region historically outside its core focus (for example, a French carrier strike group recently participated in exercises against China), and Australia is rapidly militarizing.
With U.S. strategic priorities shifting from Europe to countering China, increased military activity in the region is all but certain. Washington is already adjusting its military training programs to reflect this shift—something that has been noted in recent reports.
⭕️ 🇸🇾 Some of the “achievements” of the “revolution” currently ruling Syria:- Power outages occur every seven hours, with power restoration lasting anywhere from 15 minutes to half an hour, sometimes extending up to 12 hours.
- Salaries for those who remain employed have stayed the same, with no increase as promised. Most employees have been dismissed.
- Factory and industrial equipment is being stolen and moved to Idlib, along with the electrical grid equipment.
- Killings are happening based on identity, with anyone seeking revenge or settling scores freely killing others, labeling them as “regime remnants.”
- The bitterest part of all… Israel continues to steal from and invade southern Syria daily without opposition, while the de facto government remains asleep, preoccupied with persecuting Alawites and Shiites.

⭕‼️ Russia started out with an advanced electronic warfare capability. They rather easily adapted to defeat all the US/NATO GPS-guided weaponry. But the “lower-tech” stuff was harder to defeat. Looks like they have now solved that problem.
Russia has dominated western tech.
[links:
🔻 SIMPLICIUS Ѱ:
⚡️🇷🇺”Crimea has not been attacked by UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for a long time. NATO resources write about a certain “super-REB” that blinds NATO intelligence over the peninsula. This electronic warfare system is capable of jamming GPS and Starlink signals, it has been operating in the Crimea for recent months and there is very little information about it.It is known that on the instructions of the Head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov, a group of talented engineers of JSC “Russian Dome”was assembled. It took several months of work and good investments for the electronic warfare system to work.
The system appeared in the spring of 2024, and now with the help of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, they plan to scale it up and distribute it throughout the country. The software is Russian, the element base is partially Russian.” ]
🔻 SIMPLICIUS Ѱ: Part 2:Why enemy missiles and UAVs don’t fly into Crimea: how the region created electronic warfare to protect the peninsula
One of its creators , call sign “Docent”, recalls those days:
“Previously, there were no necessary counter-drone systems on the territory of Russia. The employees of the “Russian Dome” were regularly in the zone of the SVO and decided to create electronic warfare devices to combat drones. The head of the Republic of Crimea gave the opportunity to conduct tests on the territory of the region, facilitated the trial operation, during which we have already achieved the landing of Ukrainian drones without damage.”
Such effective electronic warfare was noticed at the very top. In the spring of 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to provide assistance to the Russian Dome company and increase the share of the Russian component base in these systems.
More than 150 people are currently involved in the development, the software is entirely Russian. Domestic industry already covers part of the need for the element base.
The main indicator is that enemy UAVs and missiles fly anywhere but at the target. The adviser to the general director of the Russian Dome, with the call sign “Mayor”, speaks out clearly:
“The devices operate within a radius of 20 kilometers, this has been confirmed by the Ministry of Defense. No one else has this. Our products are recommended for purchase for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the interests of their deployment at critical facilities, as well as on the line of combat contact.”
The reason for the lack of analogues to the Russian electronic warfare is simple: the use of combat experience and the participation of specialists from the front and technical advice from the Ministry of Defense. During development, there are also incidents: testing of the “Russian Dome” led to the suppression of GPS signals in one of the European countries neighboring Ukraine – the developers had to revise the operating parameters of their device.
“Russian Dome” also ensures the security of commercial enterprises. At one of the factories in the Rostov region, after the “Russian Dome” electronic warfare system was turned on, 25 drones were assembled in a field near the factory.
“The Ukrainians now often resort to trickery: they conduct a combined attack, first drones fly without a warhead, decoys, which are supposed to reduce the effectiveness of classic air defense systems against drones equipped with a warhead. But our electronic warfare system does not care who is suppressed – a “decoy” or a combat drone. Any one will be suppressed – says “Mer”.
They also helped in Kursk: “almost immediately after the Ukrainian troops entered the territory of Kursk Oblast, we moved to the scene. We deployed one of our experimental devices, I can’t reveal the details about it, but we managed to take very tight control of the sky in a week”
“We work with the entire oil industry,” adds “Mer.” “After working with us, all drone flights are reduced to zero. We protected the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the Kursk NPP. And there simply wasn’t a single UAV flight to Crimea after the “super-REB” took over. And when the Ukrainians realized that they couldn’t get through to us, they started flying to the Krasnodar Territory and even further.”
As a result, the war has become more expensive for the enemy; initially, UAVs costing 30-40 thousand rubles were flying in dozens, but now their devices cost 2-3 million rubles, which significantly complicates their performance of combat missions.
And the Russian dome stands in defense of the Crimean peninsula
SMI2, Crimea
🔻 Phantom_X: Does lack of long range weapons also play a part? I haven’t heard about Himars or storm shadows in a long time.
🔻 WS: HIMARS, Storm Shadows, ATACMS … they are precisely the GPS-guided US/NATO weapons the Russians have defeated.ATACMS was the biggest failure of all. The US delivered 500+ of them to Ukraine, and they were utterly ineffectual, whereas the Russian Iskander has been devastating.
🔻 Kenan Beg: We’ve seen it time and again but Russias ability to learn and develop is impressive.
🔻 Edward Spencelah: “Russia has dominated western tech”“China has…” (don’t even need to say it)
USA: “Free fries and a monster-sized…”
🔻 cognitivedissonanceeverywhere: It has long been rumoured that the Russians have some extremely capable and eyebrow raising electronic warfare systems. GPS is completely impotent and the West still has no solution. The problem is it’s hard to defend everywhere.
🔻 Doimo Manu: Many East Europeans and people from the Soviet Union in general were members of an electrotechnical or radio club. There were numerous magazines from the 1970s and 1980s until the end. One can be surprised with ingenious solutions and innovation expectedly.

[it wouldn’t be an Empire without such obscene extravagance and waste. And Thank God – this sows the seeds of their own defeat, freeing us from universal bondage all the faster]
🔻 WS: 🔸 The US military is not built and maintained to fight an actual big-time war.It is a massive wealth-transfer scheme hiding behind a neo-feudalistic social welfare program, whose primary purpose is to justify and forge consent for the wealth-transfer scheme’s perpetuation.
🔻 Em Grove: An extended fast mobile war, yes. A Ukr v Russia war would be a high casualty flustercluck without a massive overhaul.
FWIW, most of Europe is in much worse shape.
🔻 WS: I submit the US is logistically incapable of prosecuting ANY manner of “extended” war.And I remain thoroughly convinced that, even if the Russians permitted them to assemble unimpeded for a full year, a US/NATO ground force in Ukraine would be comprehensively destroyed.
🔻 JamesKaneInFlorida: Yes I am no expert but you are and I agree. The US mil. is a total waste of money and the only thing they have is a big nuclear stick.
🔻 WS: I’m not even convinced the US has a “big nuclear stick”. There are a LOT of indications that a large proportion of the US strategic nuclear force is considerably less than “mission capable” — both silo- and sub-launched ICBMs.And the Russians can likely shoot down many of them.
🔻 Em Grove: I see why you would come to that conclusion. What I believe you’re undervaluing is the U.S.’ ability to become rabidly laser focused when the right buttons are pushed. But I’ll concede that the days of going rabid a la 1941 are unlikely

🔻 EvaG: Is there widespread support among Americans for real war with China ? US think tanks definitely pro-war, even pro-Nuclear war. Lots of Americans (incl Maga) seem to think Australians, east Asians eagerly await US pivot to confront China, which I assure you, we wait with dread.
🔻 WS: I have no doubt most Americans believe China is “the enemy” and that American military might can send “evil commies” back to the stone age in less than a couple weeks.Of course, they’ll reassess the situation quickly after the entire US 7th fleet is sunk in the first week.
🔻 EvaG: Unfortunately when the bombs start flying it’ll be too late to stop. We’re be looking at very possible full nuclear exchange. It’s a problem that Americans are so unrealistic about war with China.
🔻 Rand Fanshier: It’s worse than anyone imagined. A systematic devolution of the American mind. A looting of capital. A loss of ability to manufacture.

🔻 Pink Shirt Migo: Who do you trust to reduce corruption in the US federal government?
🔻 WS: The avenging angels, when they come. Until then, I’m not very sanguine about the prospects of “reducing corruption” in the halls of empire.
⭕ 🔸 StarlinkAt the link below my friend @NebojsaMalic muses about the significance of Starlink on the Ukraine battlefield.
My response:
There has long been evidence that Russia can jam Starlink via ECM. They probably can’t do it everywhere all the time, but they can do it where they decide it’s important (like in Crimea).
And they are constantly expanding the coverage area of their countermeasures.
That being the case, I can see no logical reason for the Russians to seek to destroy the Starlink array in the region. After all, they may well want to have it available for the civilian population in the future. Why not?
It’s the same situation with the GPS system: the Russians have shown they can defeat GPS where and when they choose to do so. There is no need to destroy components of the system itself.
t.me/thenebulator/1929
🔻 Nina 🐙 Byzantina: Doesn’t Russia also use Starlink within the Ukrainian territory (without fully depending on it)?
🔻 WS: So it has been rumored. And they’ve certainly captured enough terminals to make it worth their while.
🔻 Nebojša Malić: Even more reason for @elonmusk to push a button and turn it off.
🔻 Johanna deMartin: Russia not deploying a giant baseball glove in space and swatting all the shitty satellites (not juist starlink, but *ALL* the space trash) out of orbit and into eccentric orbits is forever the thing I will blame it for.
🔻 WS: I understand why many people seem frustrated in that respect, but when you stop and think about it, starting a major war in the orbital space would be as potentially destructive of modern civilization as it would be to turn a few big cities into craters.
🔻 Johanna deMartin: You’re right, of course, but it is exactly during these tidal change moments, with what used to be a unified West shattering and realigning.. where I feel it would not be beyond the realm of possibility.“I will blame them forever” is a childish rhetoric, but you got the point.
[not childish at all. And the Last Satanic Empire WILL force the civilizational-states into this extreme move, sooner or later. BlockedYes there is hope — after the Last Satanic Empire is finally buried.
We’re all oppressed worldwide, wittingly or not. Most are under imposed grinding poverty and significant insecurities – usually a combo of lack of true peace, food and employment. ALL of it artificial.
As my father, CAF and many others noted, “misery is a business model.” Evil exists, that wills to keep most humanity under such a grip they weaken, despair, and can be easier exploited.
That’s it in a nutshell — the root causes under “negotiation” between the Anglo-Saxons and the civilizational-states.
It is under these centuries of Vampire Balls that we’ve all degraded. It didn’t used to be this way. With security and prosperity (readily accessible to ALL – so abundant is our world!!), and there were such for much of history preceding the 15th century, tribes were reasonable and respectful to each other.
But under the daily pain of hunger and distressing lack of prospects and uncertainties, the worst aspects and impulses of the human being are stoked and come to the fore. Criminal compradore elites beholden to distant plunderers and their own pleonexia maintain the explosive status quo, even after ostensible liberation from overt colonialism. We all worldwide are today worse slaves than the formal slaves in the American south of yesteryear!!!
It is this demonic layer over all of us globally, that oppresses and lays the paths to permanent intracommunal strife and hatreds. It doesn’t permit reasonable and fair solutions to intractable problems. For true peace, prosperity, and commity to break out would mean the end of their imperialism, built on divide and rule and resultant sea of the abject dispossessed.
May the Russians complete their Victory in Novorossiya, the Islamic Resistance in West Asia, and the proud and wise Chinese civilization in their economic-financial-technologic war. These victories are requisite to solving all other problems worldwide, laid at the feet of the same legion Antagonists of All.

🔻 Big Serge ☦️🇺🇸🇷🇺: I’m not trying to pick on this guy in particular, he’s certainly not unique or even uniquely bad in this regard, but his post illustrates a broader point.
Part of the reason the conversation about Ukraine is so muddled is that many people (like this guy) view war as a sort of aberration from normal politics. The battlefield has an unreality for them that has to be rectified. They view war as being subordinate to law, rather than the other way around. Therefore, their idea of “negotiation” is to codify some idealized outcome.
The truth is that war is the *most* real aspect of politics that exists, since the foundational reality of politics is coercing others to behave the way you want, and violence is the purest method.
The point of “negotiations” isn’t to “make a deal”, as if this is purely transactional. The point is to codify an expression of relative power and the state of the war. In other words, the battlefield has its own reality, and the task of the negotiator is to translate this into the formal grammar of treaties. The diplomat is like an oracle who channels the will of a higher power, which is the bullet.
Lots of people affirming Clausewitz, “war is politics by other means.” Yes, but I’m saying something slightly different: war is prior to politics and it is the prospect of war that undergirds the possibility of international politics and law at all.
🔻 WS: 🔥 The Big Serge dispenses a sobering dose of cold, hard truth.

⭕ 🇷🇺💥🇺🇦 February 2025 Sets Record for Drone Strikes as Missile Attacks DecreaseRussia’s use of drones in Ukraine reached an all-time high in February 2025, while the number of missile strikes declined, according to data compiled from public sources.
➡️Record Drone Strikes
- 3,097 kamikaze drones (Geran, Gerber, and Parody) were launched in February, surpassing the previous record of 2,599 drones in January.
- On February 23, Russia launched a single-night record of 267 drones.
➡️Decline in Missile Strikes
- Only 99 missiles (Iskander, KN-23, Kh-101, Kh-59, Kh-22, etc.) were fired throughout the month.
- Just one large-scale missile attack was recorded, on February 1.
- Strikes primarily targeted military, industrial, and energy infrastructure in Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, and Poltava regions.
➡️Surge in FPV Drone Usage
- Over 17,000 FPV drone strikes occurred in February, setting a new record.
- A single-day record was hit, with over 1,150 FPV drone strikes in 24 hours.
- The average daily FPV drone usage in 2024 was 250-300 strikes per day, but in 2025, it is approaching 1,000 per day under good weather conditions.
➡️Lancet Drones Make a Comeback
The Lancet loitering munitions, previously overshadowed by the hype around fiber-optic FPV drones and new “Molniya” drones, also set a record with over 200 strikes in February.
➡️Growing Pressure on Ukraine’s Air Defenses
The increasing use of low-cost, mass-produced kamikaze drones and decoys is putting significant strain on Ukraine’s air defense systems (SAMs), which rely heavily on Western-supplied missiles.
This issue is becoming more critical as U.S. officials hint at a possible end to military aid, which could leave key systems like the Patriot missile defense vulnerable due to a lack of interceptors.
➡️Escalating Pressure on the Frontline
The surge in FPV drone strikes is increasing Ukrainian personnel and equipment losses.
The introduction of advanced FPV drones, including those with fiber-optic guidance, target-locking capabilities, and heavy warheads, is further complicating Ukraine’s battlefield situation.

🔗 Palantir turns Ukraine into an AI WAR LAB
- Time Magazine boasted that tech giant Palantir Technologies embedded its state-of-the-art analytics AI software into Ukraine’s government operations in June 2022.
- More than half a dozen Ukrainian agencies, including its Ministries of Defense, Digital Transformation, Economy, and Education, now rely on Palantir.
- The company has access to virtually all Ukraine’s data, from real-time satellite and drone footage to financial and economic records, according to the media.
- Beyond its military AI solutions, Palantir is also tasked with “rooting out corruption” in Ukraine
- effectively making it the Zelensky regime’s invisible watchdog.
🔗 Palantir’s DEEP TIES to the CIA, Pentagon… and Trump
- Founded in 2003, Palantir was backed by the CIA’s venture arm, In-Q-Tel, and worked on US-NATO operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
- Billionaire Peter Thiel, Palantir’s co-founder, has been a loyal Trump ally since 2016.
- Thiel mentored JD Vance since 2011, backed his Narya Capital, and donated $10 million to his Senate campaign in 2021.
- With Palantir’s insider access, it likely holds intel on Ukraine’s corruption, misuse of US funds, forced conscriptions, and more – intel Thiel could have shared with Trump and Vance.
- Rumors suggest Palantir’s AI may have been used by Elon Musk’s DOGE team, hinting that Kiev’s schemes could already be exposed, much like USAID’s murky dealings.

BlockedI was listening to Ania and Krainer and she struck a cord. What i most enjoy about her and why listen periodically is her attention to the spiritual.
She noted the overt emphasis by Trump to be known as a “peacemaker.” We’ve discussed this for weeks. But in context of the ongoing humiliation rituals, bitter retreats, and disintegration of all western positions and the West itself, and everyone’s expectation that a “Hail Mary” is coming, I got to thinking of the assumed Jesus-complex and what Brother Casey noted as Trump’s Janus personality. The devils always engage in biblical mockery. The Moshiach’s very mission is to impersonate the true Messiah,; thus his minions play similar roles.
The First Coming was relatively unobtrusive, as a peacemaker and warner. The Second Coming will be altogether different!! Not merely with kind word, but the Sword. And so this mini-Moshiach appears to be rolling – a bumbling browned buffoon first pleading for peace, then after the head wound should see a crazed psycho breathing fire and destroying nations??? ⭕ 🇹🇳 Tunisia Stands Firm: Cutting Ties with the IMFTunisia has made a bold move by severing all communication with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), signaling a significant shift in its economic strategy. President Kais Saied accused the IMF of overstepping its role and interfering in the country’s sovereignty. This decision comes as Tunisia faces high inflation, unemployment, and a growing public debt, while negotiations for a $1.9 billion loan package remain stalled due to disagreements over reforms.
The move reflects Tunisia’s desire for greater economic independence but raises concerns about its ability to secure international financing. Without IMF support, the country risks economic isolation, yet it may also open doors for alternative strategies. This development could influence other African nations weighing their relationships with global financial institutions.

⭕ 🇪🇺📈🇷🇺 EU again increasing dependence on Russian fertilizers, Eurostat data showsSince the imposition of sanctions against Russia, EU countries swiftly cut their Russian fertilizer imports by 20.5% in 2022 and another 8.2% the following year. By 2023, imports hit an 11-year low at just 3.9 million tonnes.
However, last year, EU fertilizer imports from Russia surged by 25%, nearly offsetting the previous two years’ decline. In total, 4.93 million tonnes were imported in 2024, compared to 5.37 million tonnes in 2021.
📊 The share of Russian fertilizers in EU imports also rose: from about 23.5% in 2022 and 2023 to 27.4% in 2024. The high price of gas for local producers prompted this shift in policy.
👨🌾 These ongoing imports amid declining production may be linked to a decrease in EU farms: there were 9.1 million farms in 2020, down from 10.5 million in 2016. Agricultural output continued to fall for the second consecutive year by 2024.

⭕ 🇺🇸 Donald Trump has started a mafia-like struggle for global powerThe economist:
The breakdown of the post-1945 order is accelerating. In extraordinary scenes at the UN this week, America has sided with Russia and North Korea against Ukraine and Europe. Germany’s likely new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, is warning that by June, NATO could be dead. We are fast approaching a world where might is right, where big powers make deals and bully small ones.
The administration is a whirlwind of ideas and egos, but its members agree on one thing: Under post-1945 rules and alliances, Americans have been drawn into unfair trade and paid for foreign wars.
This new system has a new hierarchy. America is number one. Next come countries with resources to sell, threats to make, and leaders unwilling to democracy. Vladimir Putin wants to restore Russia to its status as a great imperial power. Muhammad bin Salman wants to modernize the Middle East and push back Iran. Xi Jinping is both a committed communist and a nationalist who wants a world fit for a strong China. Third are America’s allies, whose dependence and loyalty are seen as weaknesses to be exploited.
The territory is up for negotiation, which blows up the post-1945 rules. Ukraine’s borders could be fixed by a handshake between Trump and Putin.
The borders of Israel, Lebanon and Syria have been blurred by 17 months of war. Some outside powers are indifferent. Yet Mr. Trump has eyed Gaza, as well as Greenland, and in possible Sino-American talks, Mr. Xi could also make an offer of territory, offering, for example, to limit exports in exchange for concessions on Taiwan, the South China Sea or the Himalayas.

🔻 Detroit Supremacist: Trump began the day wanting to get the deal, but when Zelensky showed up dressed in character to run his shtick, Trump switched into Reality TV mode, and that’s all the lead time he needs to do to turn a press conference into a Reality TV climax.
🔻 WS: Well, the “deal” is all theater and no substance, because there are no rich deposits of rare earths to exploit. But otherwise I agree with your “Trump Reality TV” thesis.Zelensky, in extremis as he is, walked into the lions den, was easily provoked, and got chewed to pieces.
🔻 Detroit Supremacist: I understand that the deal was theater and I think Trump was going to use it to justify the time it would take to wind down in negotiations and not simply up sticks. He was under pressure from Bloodfeast and friends I’m sure.
🔻 Detroit Supremacist: But, Zelensky showed up at his door gift wrapped in his Chr Guevera outfit and Trump saw that he could take it a different way. Oh, we’re doing television today? I’m pretty good at television.
🔻 WS: Easy pickings.
🔻 Detroit Supremacist: Agree that Trump ambushed Zelensky, but I believe it was hasty ambush.
🔻 WS: It could very well have been more ad hoc than pre-conceived. Either way, it was well executed.
🔻 Detroit Supremacist: Absolutely.
🔻 Sharmine Narwani: What ambush? Zelensky started it.
🔻 WS: Well, he started it after a manner of speaking. But from the moment he exited the limo and Trump mocked his costume, the little gremlin was being primed for an easy provocation. Trump, notwithstanding all his other shortcomings, is a master of this sort of thing.
🔻 Elydia35: have you seen the entire presser and how it unfolded?
🔻 WS: Yes. My opinion of the matter remains unchanged.
🔻 Shahab Langah: What manner of speaking? The administration was very polite to him and Trump even came out to greet him – he didn’t do this for Macron or Starmer. Zelensky was rude through out the meeting and kept talking over Trump trying to put him down with fact checks.
🔻 WS: Of course he did. Zelensky is a very desperate man. That’s what made him such an easy mark.
🔻 Salamanca: You are right that this was all staged: a professional comedian staged a fight with a former TV host, who finalised the discussion with : ‘this surely will be great television!’
[this apt comparison puts it nicely! BOTH “Prezes” were auditioned for their ongoing roles. All (the satanic) world is a Stage …]
🔻 Shahab Langah: He then he tried to publicly humiliate the Vice President calling him by his first name and telling him he’s knows nothing about negotiations and then tried to gaslight Trump over his Ocean between us comment.
🔻 WS: The desperate little gremlin never had a chance in hell to “publicly humiliate” ANYONE in that setting. And Trump, Vance et al. couldn’t have been more pleased with themselves by what was happening. That was the true tell: the intense self-satisfaction as the gremlin melted down.
🔻 C6: Br’er Fox, pleaasse don’t throw me in that briar patch. Whatever will I do?
🔻 C7: Exactly! But you have to watch the entire meeting or the US news will only show you mean ole Vance ganging up on him. I hate US news!
🔻 WS: I watched it all. What I saw was Zelensky being gradually brought to a boil, and then he just exploded. Not surprising at all. The dude is in extremis; he has “led” his country into an incredible catastrophe, and now it’s all crumbling around him. His time on the stage is over.
🔻 Sophia: Will, with all due respect, it was the other war around. Zelensky refused the deal twice before asking for a WH meeting, which was interpreted as a change in posture, and which should have been, otherwise, why ask specifically for a WH platform ? 1/
🔻 Sophia: Zelensky wanted max exposure to do what he always does, shame the West for not helping Ukraine and then demand more. The fact that Zelensky under performed does not mean he was ambushed. 2/
🔻 Sophia: Trump & Vance were able to use the situation to their advantage. But the fact that they did, and that Zelensky misread the mood and the room and was under prepared, does not mean this was an ambush by Trump. 3/
[well said. Both sides may have laid the trap.. and they deserve each other thank you very much]
🔻 WS: I always value your views. Very much so.But I continue to hold to mine on this particular question.
I think, over the course of the past week, the White House, with malice aforethought, sought to humiliate Macron, Starmer, and Zelensky in sequence.
🔻 M E: I think it’s become clear, with hindsight and Susan Rice’s MSNBC appearance, that it’s rather malicious planning by Europeans- Zelensky-American Biden neocons to set up Trump…box him in. Butter up with Macron, Starmer visits first, then Z, who’d been coached to “stand up to Trump”. Bessent, Rubio and Kellogg fill in the blanks here.

🔻 Ceyda Karan: Well what we all think.. He notes that both personalities are experienced actors on stage.. Says the rare resource deal is meaningless. That the staging was to deceive the Russians.. He says that the US and Europe have a division of labor. Based on Hegseth’s statements, the war is being transferred to Europe while they turn to Asia… And those who are optimistic with Trump are deadly wrong etc.
🔻 WS: I might check it out. Sounds like reiterations of things he’s been saying lately. My only objection, as it were, to his thoughts of late is that the notion of a “division of labor” is fundamentally futile.I remain convinced that all of NATO, US included, would be shredded in relatively short order if they actually attempted to concentrate a force to fight the Russians in eastern Europe. It would be a slaughter at least equal to and probably worse than what #TheMotherOfAllProxyArmies has suffered the past three years.
The US/NATO are not even remotely prepared at this time to fight and sustain a serious BIG WAR against Russia, let alone China, nor even, in my estimation, Iran.

⭕ 🎹 Perfect PitchMy wife and I have been raising our two grandsons (13 & 8), the oldest of which is pretty profoundly autistic — and yet he is an absolute prodigy-level genius in many respects.
I’ve recently discovered that he has absolutely perfect pitch, and has somehow learned to associate every note in the chromatic scale with its proper name — even though he cannot even identify the notes on a piano … unless you play it, in which case he will name it instantaneously.
Not only can he identify every note by name, he can identify any 1/3/5 triad chord I play, major or minor, and in any inversion. And if he listens to just a few bars of any song, he can instantly tell you what key it is in. And when I played a C major with a suspended 4th, he paused for a moment and then said: “C major with an F”.
It’s an extraordinary gift. Now my challenge is to somehow get him to focus on learning an instrument. In the meantime, maybe I can rent him out to orchestras to help them properly tune their instruments. 😏 |THREAD|
⭕🔻 Michael Vlahos: I must take issue with Professor Hanson’s fine assessment, on one singular and yet essential point:
His number (4.). The key dynamic of this war has always been casualties, ever since the mid-2022 shift by Russia into an attrition-centric strategy. Ukrainian irrecoverable casualties, combined with outflows of able-bodied men, means simply that Ukraine can continue this war only for a few months now. Hence, President Trump must bring this war to an end as soon as possible. Otherwise, he faces an extraordinary Western defeat. I believe he fully understands this, and is focused on a settlement that avoids the shame of total defeat. There is no other way ahead for Ukraine, that might otherwise deliver a more hopeful outcome. Professor Hanson is simply wrong to call the battlefield situation a “stalemate” — because it is not. Ukraine inhabits the desolate strategic space of the CSA in the autumn of 1864, or that of the German Army in August 1918. Russia knows this, and I believe (or hope) that President Trump knows this.
