I told my wife tonight I don’t understand what all the data centers are for. Some, sure, I get that. But the sheer numbers don’t make sense, they already have huge data centers for AI and surveillance tech. She said “to collect data about us”. But they’ve already been doing that for a long time. They already have all the data. Data centers on the scale of what they’re building? Makes no sense. They don’t need it for AI.
Anyways, I don’t have answers, but the below info points might be part of whatever is going on.
