Negotiations between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman to regulate safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing.

Our negotiations with Oman focus on establishing safe routes for ships to and from the Strait of Hormuz.

We are conducting these negotiations with the Sultanate of Oman as the two littoral states of the Strait of Hormuz.

The talks with the Sultanate of Oman at both the technical and political levels are positive.

This agreement with Oman is being slow-walked, reason being, Iran will hand nothing to the US that can be circussed into a win. The continuation of the American naval blockade is the main obstacle to the security of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The US wants Iran to pretend to ‘open the strait’ so that the US can pretend that they ‘opened the strait’. We will see.

🔹Recent media creations are done with the aim of purifying the main cause of the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, while the root of this situation is the military aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime and the continuation of their hostile actions.

🔹This strategic waterway has been safe for decades and despite the cruel sanctions, with Iran’s responsibility for the passage of vessels.

🔹 The American government is currently committing an act of aggression by continuing to blockade Iranian ports and attacking ships, and has no moral or legal standing to protest the blocking of this strait.

🔹Until these illegal behaviors on the part of the United States are stopped, the necessary conditions for the establishment of security and normal traffic of international shipping will not be provided.
