The Future of Europe – the Future of the World

When the World Sleeps, a book (256 pages), was published by Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur for Gaza, in April 2026. It is a personal, and political account of Palestine that combines ten human stories with Francesca’s own reflections as a UN special rapporteur.
It focuses on Palestinian daily life under occupation, the legacy of the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe in Arabic) and its continued impact. It talks about the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) severe abuses, including detention, torture, starvation, and the targeting of civilians, especially children and mothers, the killing of the future generation of Palestinians. It also mentions mass displacement, loss, but also refers to Palestinians’ brave resilience and resistance.
Before publication of her book, Ms. Albanese was sanctioned by the United States on July 9, 2025. The sanctions were later temporarily lifted by a U.S. federal judge in May 2026 on the grounds of disrespect for the Right of Free Speech. It appears that the sanctions remain lifted as of this day.
On the death toll, Ms. Albanese’s book itself emphasizes the scale of loss, referring mostly to the UN “public figures” of some 65,000 to 75,000. However, mentioning that some scholars, scientists and on-the-ground-witnesses claim the real toll could be as high as 680,000, while noting that this estimate is hard to verify because investigators are restricted from entering Gaza. Nevertheless, this more realistic notion is hanging there, with both question and exclamation marks.
During more than a year, while the official UN Rapporteur for Gaza, Ms. Albanese, was sanctioned for the truth she was saying, the world remained silent. The World was Sleeping.
In this context, Global Research recently published “The Manufacture of Impunity”- https://www.globalresearch.ca/manufacture-impunity/5932595 , also focusing on Gaza and Palestine.
And the world remains sleeping as of this day, while numerous other atrocities and aberrations are taking place – but people remain ”numb and dumb” – watching a World Football championship which appeared to be rigged from the very beginning, carried out in the US, Canada and Mexico, but mostly on US territory. Many of the results look prearranged – but people keep cheering and watching – as they are asleep to the reality around them.
One of the multi-multi-million dollar “rigger” is apparently Argentina, as this championship is the world’s super star, Lionel Messi’s last one. They say. He says… and what better gift to a super star than letting his country’s team – current soccer championship holder – win again? Of course, no proof, just speculation.
But who cares?
The world is asleep.
Does it really matter that President Trump could reverse a Red Card of one of the US team’s top players, Jerry Balogun? The MAGA King called FIFA President Gianni Infantino to ask for a reversal of Balogun’s red card. FIFA complied, suspended the ban, allowing Balogun to play in the next match against Belgium. Despite this controversial reversal Belgium won 4:1, eliminating the US from the Championship. And the world cheered, of course not loudly, just “off the record”, “behind closed doors”, sort of whispering, for fear of sanctions. The FIFA boss, Infantino, obeyed for fear of …. What?
Is he a coward, or is his fear justified, in a world where scientists – and non-scientists – disappear for telling the truth?
Yes, dear Francesca, The World Sleeps. Has it been MK-Ultra-ed? By DARPA’s newest technology of mass-mind control, facilitated by the billions of 5G antennas around the world, literally covering the remotest corners of the globe?
Plus, desensitized by the heavy metal mix, combined with other chemicals, descending on humanities across the universe, contained in the infamous “chemtrails” – which is of course, a conspiracy theory term. So, let us use the scientific, technical term; chemtrails are really called “Stratospheric aerosol injections” (SAI). Aluminum is one of the most dangerous, health and life-threatening heavy metals descending on Mother Earth, polluting the air, the water, the earth, the vegetables growing from the contaminated soil, the animals eating the empoisoned harvest…
And worst, or of equal destructive tenor, SAIs destroy the millimeter-thin Ozone layer that covers and protects Mother Earth and all her sentient beings from the cancer-causing and eyesight – destroying ultraviolet sun-rays raining down on us. Skin-cancer rates have skyrocketed in the last five years – about coinciding with the UN Agenda 2030 – for certain age groups, especially the elderly.
Yes, the world at large is silent. Either because they do genuinely not know, or they are brainwashed to go along with all the lies. Never mind their doubts. Better is obeying, then suddenly being “sanctioned” – à la Francesca Albanese for standing up for the truth.

On another front, where people seem to be oblivious to reality – in Francesca’s words – “asleep” – is in and about Europe. The Old Continent is systematically being destroyed – “coincidentally” more or less in parallel with Agenda 2030, and the preparation thereof – economically, financially, socially, culturally and not least, reputationally.
The nameless masters, monsters being a better term – have put a corrupt, former German Defense Minister at the European Union’s (EU) head, who has never been elected, but has committed herself to follow the agenda’s orders – demolishing Europe, come hell or high water.
Instead of boosting Europe’s economy with cheap Russian hydrocarbon energy – Russia is being sanctioned, sidelined and attacked as the enemy, when everyone who still has a clear, non-indoctrinated mind knows that Russia has no intentions to ever attack any country, let alone Europe, her closest neighbor and logical partner.
Need it be said for those who are still indoctrinated by the mainstream media, Russia did not attack Ukraine. Russia defended the Russian speaking provinces, mainly Donbas, from the systematic not only discrimination, but killing by the Ukraine Nazi forces, the Azov Battalions (the same that fought with Hitler against Russia in WWII).
This war started not in February 2022, but at the latest in February 2014, as admitted by former NATO Secretary General, Ian Stoltenberg, who realized that NATO’s steady advancing towards Russia, and support of Kiev, bears the chief responsibility for this seemingly “never-ending” war.
In fact, it started at least 5 to 10years earlier, as clearly said by Victoria Nuland, then Deputy Secretary of State, in a secretly recorded phone conversation with then US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt – when she used the four-letter “F” word, referring to the useless Europeans. Aside from that, Germany’s – France’s – European’s – steady armament, spending hundreds of billions of Euros that otherwise could be used for Germany’s, France’s and the EU’s regular budgets, especially infrastructure maintenance and social services – which are being brutally cut. In addition, these countries are running up debt levels way above the statutory EU Central Bank’s limits, in preparation for an unwinnable war with Russia. All of this theatre is met by a deafening silence of Europe, of the sleeping people of the world.
With this backdrop, is it surprising that for the third time in a little over a hundred years, Germany has again been chosen to conquer and destroy Russia? Not at all. Germany fits the model of an obedient and efficient servant to the Monsters. And for the third time, it will fail.
The monstrous puppet masters behind the scenes – who stand above every government, including the UN – do indeed want to destroy Europe for the third time, knowing damn well that Russia may not be subjugated. Ever.

The idea of a weakened and controllable Europe, was already behind the founding of the EU. The creation of a club of countries without a common constitution, and on top of that with an (almost) common currency, is something that can never last in the long run. As the current jargon goes: It is not sustainable. Of the 27 EU member states, only 6 have chosen to retain their financial sovereignty and have not joined the Eurozone (Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, and Sweden).
The destruction of Europe was further exacerbated by the appointment of Ms. Ursula von der Leyen – the never-elected EU Commissioner and former German Defense Minister with a criminal record of corruption. She is destined for leading Europe’s downfall as an economic power.
Perhaps there is more behind it, what the “sleeping masses” are not told and don’t want to see – and even those who see it, won’t be able to admit it. Having been brought up in a constant lie, it is difficult to admit having fallen for a life-long lie, even when the light shines fully on it.
Namly, the fact, that Europe has been a colonizing power, cruelly exploiting for the last thousand-plus years – enslaving, killing and exploiting Africans, Latin Americans, Asians, by the hundreds of millions in the course of time, just to enrich themselves with their colonies’ natural resources and free slave labor.
Mind you, even the so called “Independence” of these countries, in the early 1960’s, especially in Africa, didn’t end colonization. It just switched to a new form of economic and financial occupation. Take the example of France, which still imposes on its 14 or so former West- and Central African colonies the CFA franc – (French acronym: Franc de la Coopération Financière en Afrique), which is 80% controlled by the Banque de France (French Central Bank). Estimates suggest, that if these former French colonies free themselves from the CFA franc and adopt their own currency, France may lose up to 30% of her GDP.
So, these monsters, knowingly or not, may have brought a little bit of justice to Europe – bring them down from their high horses, to level grounds, where they have to fend for themselves without any natural resources of their own, so to speak – and no slave-colonies by their side.
But who of the sleepers will see it? – Hardly any. In addition to blinding egocentricity, they love their masters, à la Stockholm syndrome.
We are living not only in a world that sleeps, but seemingly in a hologram marked by the syndrome, ‘When the World Sleeps’.
