The failed US war on drugs vs China’s opium war

China had an incomparably worse drug situation than the US until the end of WWII because of UK imperialism, which forced the opium trade on the Chinese. But in a few decades it got rid of drugs to the point of statistical error without attacking any country for oil, while the US has been in a “war on drugs” for decades, and the situation has never been as bad as it is today.

So what is the difference that makes the Chinese approach so much more successful than the American one?

First of all, the Chinese security services do not traffic drugs and do not smuggle them into their own country, nor do they cooperate with cartels and mafias like the CIA and the US government do. In China, narco bosses and drug traders face the death penalty; in the US narco bosses and drug traders live in Florida while the US government helps them launder over $500 billion a year.

I suggest that the US use the Chinese method if they ever want to get rid of drug problem, which is cheaper and incomparably more successful than the American one.

And by the way: oil has never cured anyone of addiction.
