Current Affairs under the radar: China, Russia, Iran (aka, do whatever the hell you want!)
Warships from Iran, China and Russia kicked off their annual joint exercises in the Gulf of Oman on Monday.
According to Chinese state media, the “Security Belt-2025” drills, taking place near the Iranian port of Chabahar, are the fifth joint naval exercise Iran, China, and Russia have held since 2019.
Most of us know about these naval exercises as a background noise during these busy days.
Under the radar and only yesterday, was Pezeskian’s comment to the US. Inadvertently, he encapsulated the stance and feeling of the world:
“It is unacceptable for us that they (the U.S.) give orders and make threats. I won’t even negotiate with you.”
Do whatever the hell you want”.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that Tehran would not be bullied into negotiations, a day after Trump said he had sent a letter urging Iran to engage in talks on a new nuclear deal. (It is interesting to note that ‘these letters’ and not only to Iran but others as well, usually don’t ever get to their destination and a day or two after, we get local medias reporting that there is no letter, yet. The title here could be Blowhards threaten Letters!)
There is a follow-up, reported out of China:
China will hold a trilateral meeting between China, Russia and Iran on the Iranian nuclear issue on Friday, a foreign ministry spokesperson has announced.
Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu will chair the meeting, with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov Sergey Alexeevich and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi in attendance in Beijing.
The three parties are set to exchange views on the Iranian nuclear issue, along with other topics of mutual interest.
Again:
Do whatever the hell you want”.
“It is interesting to note that ‘these letters’ and not only to Iran but others as well, usually don’t ever get to their destination” They are imaginary levers of threats, as empty and contrived and malicious as Orange’s daily stream of consciousness diatribes. That they do not bother sending them… Read more »
Hahaaaa … they’re using the UAE as postman to go and deliver the Message from Trump to Iran’s Foreign Minister. What little yappy dogs those people are!
