Iran’s “Father of Missiles” answer to Trump’s MOAB threat

IRGC Brig. Gen. Mohammad Reza Naqdi, senior adviser to the IRGC commander-in-chief, spoke on Sunday at a “Sacrifice for Iran” rally in Sari. His remarks were a direct rhetorical counter to Trump’s public threat to use the GBU-43/B MOAB against Iranian energy and nuclear sites.

🔶 Naqdi said Iran has “readied the father of our missiles” and that any US or allied attack is “doomed to failure.”

🔶 Energy escalation threat: in case of “miscalculation,” the infrastructure and energy investments of the “aggressors” in the region would fall within operational range.

🔶 He called Trump’s talk of running out of patience an “open admission of defeat.” In his view, a side claiming victory wouldn’t say it had exhausted its patience.

🔶 He claimed the 14-ton GBU 57 “Massive Ordnance Penetrator”, aka “bunker buster” bombs dropped during the 12-day war included duds that Iranian forces recovered, so Iran now holds samples of the weapons and used them in developing the Iranian “Father of missiles”.

🔶 He credited Iranian public readiness, more than hardware, for deterrence. He also claimed this had blocked ground incursions and pushed hostile vessels back 1,000 km at sea.

🐻 The real signal is the explicit direct linkage of regional energy infrastructure to any strike on Iranian energy sites. That is the same horizontal-escalation logic Tehran has used before – with a bit of polite trolling of the “Strongest military force in history of histories” – thst has already been thoroughly humiliated by Iran.
