Next – Netanyahu
This morning, in the short update Iran War – Friday is an age away – short update, we were waiting for Netanyahu. And now is the time that we should have had a reliable copy of the MoU.
Really not good form, but let me quote myself: “So, we are waiting for Netanyahu and also, for the first attacks on Lebanon and those will happen most probably within this week.”
Netanyahu is giving a speech, so far he is detailing all of Israel’s ‘achievements’ (from Nasrallah’s killing to invading Syria etc.).
– ‘We will remain in the occupied areas in Lebanon. We will maintain the security zone.’ – Netanyahu
– ‘What we did in Gaza, we will do in Lebanon. Just like we secured the South, we will secure the North.’
– Netanyahu: ‘Sometimes, I do not agree with Trump. Therefore, Israel will do whatever it takes to maintain its own security.’
– Netanyahu: ‘We don’t know exactly what’s in the agreement between Iran and the U.S.’
Netanyahu is taking questions now.
Reporter: ‘Was the war against Iran a mistake?’
– Netanyahu: ‘I never said that one of the operation’s goals was to topple the Iranian regime. I said the goal is to prepare the conditions for the Iranian people to overthrow it.’
Reporter: ‘Are you the one who makes decisions about Israel, or is it Trump and America?
– Netanyahu: ‘I set certain parameters for our activity and we are doing it, but we cannot completely go against what the U.S. says’
We will remain in the buffer zones in Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria.
Netanyahu, in response to a question:
– ‘Iran wanted us to withdraw from southern Lebanon, but I was extremely, extremely, extremely firm in my refusal—and we will not do it’
The End.
This is a commentary earlier, before the short speech:
Response by Iran’s Foreign Ministry to Israel’s claim they will not withdraw from Lebanon: – We know that Israel never takes any action without consultation and direct coordination with America. – Therefore, we hold America directly responsible if it fails to force Israel to submit to its obligations as part of the MoU, with necessary consequences.
Marwa Osman commented fast:
Israeli genocidal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he never said the objective was to overthrow the Iranian government (lol), but rather to help Iranians do so themselves, adding that he does not know when such a change might occur.
He also acknowledged that he and President Trump do not always see eye to eye, stressing that Israel “must pursue what it considers its own security interests”. Netanyahu further declared that Israeli occupation forces would remain in the so-called “security buffer zone” in Lebanon for “as long as necessary”, expressed confidence in winning the next elections, and noted that any agreement reached by Trump with Iran is ultimately “Trump’s decision, while Israel will continue to pursue its own interests”.
These statements reinforce the view that confrontation and instability are unlikely to end as long as the current Israeli enemy leadership maintains the same genocidal approach toward the region.
From this perspective, the resistance is expected to continue its activities regardless of political developments, while Lebanese civilians are urged to exercise patience, prioritize their safety, and avoid border villages and active conflict zones so as not to place themselves at risk amid ongoing military operations.
Our priority should be giving our heroes enough time and space to keep resisting so we can ultimately return back home safely.

So, the empire has started salami slicing the MoU and on Friday, in their eyes, it will look different. They are really very good at this phase and very very dangerous. The Americans say that the “withdrawal” of the Israeli occupation army is not a condition in the memorandum of understanding with Iran.
It is clear that there are attempts to separate Lebanon and Iran again, based on the issue of “withdrawal.”
The lack of “Israel’s” withdrawal means the continuation of operations by the resistance, on the one hand, and on the other hand, it will prevent Hezbollah from making any commitments, in addition to affecting the implementation of the memorandum of understanding, which Tehran says mentions Lebanon three times.
Prof Marandi
In accordance with the MOU, the Zionist regime must withdraw from the occupied territories in Lebanon, and the US has accepted Iran’s right to enrichment. It is clear which side has the upper hand.
