Sovereignista is looking at a hitcount of 1,353,136 (midnight count) for this month. So, it will be 1.4 million at the end of this time period. I was looking towards breaking the 1 million mark as we were on the cusp, but, we’ve shattered that mark. Not too shabby for a site that was supposed to be a little site talking about world changes and a site that has not done one little bit of advertising! Nothing. Not even listed on the major search engines and in our tech, we discourage the googleplex and all of those types. On our Telegram channel, we are just about beyond a thousand, for a channel that started with 3 people and never advertised, and never added ourselves to a file of channels, and never even talked big. There are some Telegram ‘internet’ abilities that kick in now. Telegram, despite the quirks of the owner, is still the home of the resistance.

We have some more help and you may have seen posts by Thuren. He or she is helping me personally to post those that we feature, as I cannot get to proper analytical writing as the daily churn is just too massive. Welcome Thuren!. The learning curve is huge, I know. But together we will bite the bullet and do it!

Everyone that I’ve been in touch with today and yesterday consider that we will see renewed war break out tonight or over the next number of hours into the weekend.

There may still be a gap? I don’t know. Trump eventually told Kushner Baby Face and What’s his Evil BlackKoff not to bother flying to Islamabad, as if it is a great Statesman-like effort to cancel some flights. The US press was wrong all the time and Iran told ’em but OMG, they pumped up the volune and sang the circus songs. Know this! The US press is not reliable. Iran is holding their line. They are not attending negotiations for ceasefires because the US does not want a ceasefire. They want world dominion. These negotiations are only the ‘dress that they wear’. All that Iran is interested in, is the end to war in the region and no world dominion. Fingers on triggers in Iran, and they are willing to fight for what they want. Trump is backsliding, saying .. they can call us if they want. I am convinced that we need to stop talking to the barbarians and send them home. Well Done Iran! It is however a stressful time. Data and information flows in at an unbelievable rate – most of it, slop. We try very hard at Sovereignista to sidestep the rivers of slop.

Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, remains under strict lockdown for a second week as authorities await possible U.S.-Iran peace talks that have yet to materialize wn will not materialize under pressure.  Key roads are closed, public transport is suspended, and markets are struggling with shortages as supply trucks are held outside the city.

Officials say security measures will stay in place in case delegations — potentially including Trump — arrive on short notice.

In the mean time, US media regularly announces talks that do not materialize. Today it Reuters that says the US Logistics and Security Teams are already in place for talks this weekend.

There will most probably be no talks this weekend.   Iran’s FM Araghchi departs on a diplomatic tour today: Islamabad, Muscat, Moscow.  Talks to cover bilateral consultations, regional developments, and latest situation in the ongoing war with the US and Israel.

Iran is still prepared and in the process of dealing with this war on all tracks and are doing well.  Diplomacy is war by other means.  For the upcoming weekend though,  all signs point to a critical 72 hours.  Simultaneously with the activity of KC-135R refueling aircraft in Tel Aviv and an MQ-4C reconnaissance aircraft from the Al-Salti airbase in Jordan, a third US aircraft carrier in the region, an E-3G early warning aircraft flying out from Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia it seems as if the US has moved its capability deeply to western locations.  The Gulf states are hysterical, dysfunctional and impotent.  A notification from Dubai in the last hours for example is that something like 450 hotels are just simply closed their doors.  Their heaven is closing up.

The DOW greased one:  “Hegseth:  A second aircraft carrier will join the blockade in just a few days.  The blockade has gone global.”  and “Iran’s military has been reduced to a gang of pirates.”  And, “Trump authorized to destroy any Iranian boat that will try to mine Strait of Hormuz.  ‘Just like the drug boats’  ‘To shoot and kill’.

The announcement of another 3 week ceasefire in Lebanon is theatrical and performative.  There is no ceasefire in Lebanon and the Israeli attacks and Hezbollah fierce defense continue.  That was even announced that the ceasefire is ‘not 100%’ for Israel’ by the Danny Dannon UN creep. (It is not productive to see these minions as creeps, but I wonder who is biggest creep?  Dannon or Bessent.)

The most major trend in the wider discussions now, is the economic juggernaut that is now baked in the cake. Even if the Strait of Hormuz opens today, the time period to oil and gas and commodities deliveries is approximately 4 months (not for everything but for oil and gas). In other commodities, we are going to see surprises that we cannot even conceive of today.

Suddenly condom prices are up 25 to 30%. Shipping delays, high demand and broken supply chains are cited. The biggest condom maker in the world, Karex in Indonesia, who supplies the major household name sellers, say they have to pass on the price increase. Materials that we don’t even think of are just not available: synthetic rubber, nitrile, aluminum foil, and silicone oil being the major ones. So, let’s extrapolate just quickly .. if condoms are too expensive or not available, we can expect sexually transmitted diseases to increase. If that happens, the stress on provision of medications and packaging of medications will increase. Synthetic rubber is used for all kinds of gloves and so is nitrile to mention one. Silicone oil is used for industrial and household purposes. Aluminum foil? How many times do you use that in your own kitchen? I’m working from the top of my head here, only to illustrate. You can probably think of many more applications without breaking a sweat, and we started with an announcement from a condom maker, probably highly just in time manufacturing. We’ve not even touched a human element here. If Karex in Indonesia (and other condom makers in India mainly) cannot make condoms, what happens to its staff?

This ban was supposed to be the ultimate centerpiece of the 20th sanctions package.   Its own industry is now bleeding too hard and with the Hormuz Blockade, they cannot stop the bleed.

The DOW (Dogs of War) in the past few hours seized (pirated) another oil tanker ‘from Iran’ in Indian Ocean.  ‘DOW will continue to deny illicit actors and their vessels freedom of maneuvers in the maritime domain’, they say.  Is it not time to militarize tankers and container ships?

Trump blinks first, ‘extends the ceasefire’ and it is all Iran’s fault.  Iran recognizes strategic advantage and does not accept any decision on a ceasefire from Trump.  By definition then, an unrestrained state of war exists between USRael and Iran.

Tasnim News Agency reported that Iran has informed the American side, via the Pakistani mediator, that its delegation will not travel to Islamabad on Wednesday.  The agency added that Iran had agreed on the ceasefire based on its 10-point ceasefire proposal, which the US initially accepted.  However, in the days that followed, the US began to backtrack on its commitments, including enforcing a ceasefire in Lebanon, which significantly complicated the diplomatic track.  Tasnim added that during the first round of negotiations in Islamabad, the United States had excessive demands, which, in essence, violated Iran’s proposal.

IRIB reported that Iran will not recognize the ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump, warning that it may not adhere to it, and will act according to its national interests.

In parallel, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said, “Trump’s decision to extend the ceasefire is an attempt to buy time for a surprise attack,” stressing that “Iran currently holds the cards on the ground.”

Ghalibaf further underscored that any decision regarding a ceasefire rests solely with Iran.

He thanked Iran, then he threatened Iran, then he said he loves Xi, then he said he hates Xi, he said that the blockade was a success, but then says the blockade was not effective at all and it still needs more ships and personnel, then he promised that a deal will be signed in Pakistan, then he said that bombs will fall in Iran, then he said that he actually prevented Hitler 2.0 rising from Tehran, then he said he saved Israel and in the midst of all of that Vietnam would have been over quicker if he was in charge.

Russia just sent Israel a message that’s impossible to misread.

40 Israeli citizens stepping off a Tel Aviv flight at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport were pulled aside by security, held for five hours, questioned about their links to Israel’s war on Iran, and told point-blank: Iran is our ally — its enemies are ours too.

No charges filed. No drama in the headlines from the Kremlin. Just a quiet, methodical reminder that in 2026 the rules have changed.

This wasn’t random harassment. It was deliberate. Moscow doesn’t waste time or resources on routine airport checks unless it wants the world to notice. And the world has noticed.

Monitoring of US movements in recent days points to several notable shifts:

1. Repositioning of certain US warships
2. An unprecedented airlift for equipment transfers
3. Multiple heavy C-5 and C-17 aircraft involved in weapons transport
4. Amphibious island-seizure drills in Bahrain and rapid coastal assault exercises
5. Extensive US reconnaissance drone flights over Iranian islands
6. Repositioning of certain US air defense systems in the region

Iran is simultaneously considering two scenarios and has prepared for both.

➡️Scenario 1: The US buildup is psychological pressure aimed at extracting concessions at the negotiating table. Washington threatens on one hand while constantly amplifying talk of negotiations in the media on the other. Iran has put forward its proposals based on realism and the fundamental rights of the Iranian nation — it is the US that must abandon its excessive demands. As past pressure and threats have had no effect on Iran’s negotiating position, this time will be no different.

➡️Scenario 2: The talk of negotiations is cover for a surprise military strike targeting Iranian islands. The US has extensive experience using negotiations as a deception tool — twice in the past year it attacked Iran while publicly claiming talks were progressing.

Iran is fully prepared this time and considers the war scenario more likely than continued negotiations. Based on preparations carried out over the past two weeks, Iran is ready to deliver a memorable hellish opening to any renewed conflict with the US and Israel.

Analysis of Iran’s positioning also indicates that if war resumes and infrastructure is again targeted, Iran will fully abandon the restraints it observed in the first round regarding Bab al-Mandab, Aramco, Yanbu, and Fujairah.

A little about the other war.  I don’t report much as Russia is doing what it is doing and doing that superbly well. A while ago now the Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov announced that the Russian troops had completely captured the Lugansk People’s Republic.

And in Donetsk, what is left of size, is basically Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.   ‘The Russian Army is advancing towards Slavyansk. Gerasimov stated yesterday in the briefings that “The day is not far off when we will liberate Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. All this is Donetsk land.  The last number I saw is that +- 10 or 12 percent of Donetsk to go for complete liberation of Russian territories.

And then, what will Russia do? It is so that every day and night the drone strikes from the Ukraine are sizable and easily into the three hundreds. Russia is still losing civilians under these strikes. Russia takes down most of these, but I do not understand how this can continue.

Craziness in the US.  Vance was reported to be en route to Islamabad, (Trump) but he is not on his way to Islamabad because he is visibly still in Washington and now supposedly slated to fly out tomorrow.  (Axios sources but Axios is considered to be zionist media).

So far on this day just about every American with a voice is calling for the 25th Amendment and getting Trump out.

The two-week US/Iran ceasefire is set to expire on Wednesday, April 22.

Media says that Witkoff, Kushner and JD Vance are on their way to Islamabad. So far we hear that Iran has not taken a decision to attend. Pakistan apparently is trying to convince them, but why? After the ceasefire was declared, the US blockaded the Strait of Hormuz and just yesterday, they shot out the engine room of an Iranian vessel. As far as we know, they still control this vessel. This vessel most probably carried sodium perchlorate, as it loaded from the port that loads sodium perchlorate. If you remember the threats to the Iranian delegation during the previous talks (spoken about by Prof. Marandi), why should the leaders and negotiator team of Iran take this risk? Not wanting to dismiss Pakistan, but one wonders on how security can be guaranteed by Pakistan? It is not as if they are experienced in this incredibly high level and risky mediation. Take a look at the deployment and this is what we know – obviously there is more of a more secretive nature.

Security measures:

🔸 Public and heavy transport suspended

🔸 Advanced US teams arrived at Nur Khan Airbase (three US cargo planes) and moved to the High Security Zone

🔸 Rangers deployed on 33 rooftops; police at 14 bridges and crossings

🔸 The Serena and Marriott hotels have been cleared for VIPs (guests left by Sunday 3 PM)

🔸 Rawalpindi: 18,000 personnel deployed, including commandos, sharpshooters, highway patrol, and Dolphin Force

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation has declared force majeure on all crude oil and refined product shipments after Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz made exports impossible.

But this one is for independent, self-reliant people who often feel like isolated islands in their own countries—people who long for honest lives and a communal sense of the blood coursing in the veins of all of us. Enough – Basta – with waking up with a knot in your stomach, wondering what conflict has erupted. That daily unease is what brought me back to this site’s original, foundational values:

Anti-human systems must be dismantled and replaced with straightforward, honest pursuits: growing nourishing food, engaging in fair trade, healing one another, traveling freely, building livable structures, developing responsible technology, and pursuing knowledge that is both practical and sacred.

This Global Call to Action isn’t asking you to do more. Instead, it’s a call for accountability. We’re challenging our governments to govern responsibly and we suggest what we could do, to do that. Wars must end. Only then can we move toward true fairness and freedom—a world where peace isn’t just a pause between conflicts, where nations cooperate instead of exploit, and where mutual support replaces aggression. To achieve this, we must stand together, demanding policies that are right, fair, and just.

Through the careful drafting, research, and reflection and consultation behind this call engaging a number of people, one thought kept me grounded:
