Pepe Escobar : Keeping track with comments on today’s threatened blockade

Specifically Iran’s stance is as follows:

‘NO PORT IN THE REGION WILL BE SAFE IF IRAN’S PORTS ARE THREATENED’

Iran warns ahead of Trump’s blockade warning โ€” IRIB

‘Security in Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman is either for everyone or for NO ONE’. We have to assume here that they still exclude US and Israeli vessels.

This is mostly from Pepe Escobar’s tweet stream.

1.For the first time in the history of humankind we hear of a threat to destroy completely a three-thousand-year civilisation.

2.The threat is made by a modern civilisation that is hardly 300 years old. If anything, it reveals the quality of the people who made the threat.

3.They are the truly uncivilised. In human civilisation there has always been a culture that respects the old civilisation. What is old should be preserved. Destruction of the relics reveals the poor quality of the civilisation. To propose to destroy completely a 3000 years old civilisation displays the poor civilisation of the people making the proposal.

4.Clearly the threat by Trump to destroy totally a very old civilisation exposes the level of civilisation of the people making the threat.

5.They are in fact the truly uncivilised people.

๐Ÿ”บJUST IN:
Iranian media confirms that Pakistani ships will never be stopped in Strait of Hormuz, even if ceasefire fails.

IRNA reported that the transit corridor between Pakistan and Iran has officially begun operations with the dispatch of the first commercial shipment from Pakistan to Uzbekistan via Iranian territory. The main route starts from Gwadar Port in southern Pakistan and passes through Iranian territory to Central Asian countries, especially Uzbekistan, it added. According to IRNA, this route contributes to reducing transport time and costs compared to traditional routes. This corridor aims to directly connect South Asia with Central Asian markets, with a population of 70 million people, and to develop regional trade.

Iranian MP Seyyed Mohammad Nabavian, who was part of Tehranโ€™s delegation in Islamabad, gave the game away. Nuclear enrichment was a mere detail. The Baboon of Barbaria minions wanted MONEY. Sharing the tollbooth in the Strait of Hormuz.

CHINA BACKS IRAN
“We are commited for peace & stability in the world. We are monitoring the situation in the middle east. Our ships are moving in and out of the waters of Strait of Hormuz. We have trade & energy agreements with Iran. We will respect & honour them and expect others to not meddle in our affairs. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz and it is open for us.”- China’s Minister of Defence Admiral Dong Jun.

Please feel free to add to the comments what the countries say.ย  It is going to be a long day.
