Its renamed now, this thread. I’ve been hesitating for a while to rename this, but it is time. We added India and Pakistan, and they’ve now fallen off the list yet, they are simmering. I expect regional conflagrations to continue breaking out as fast as the India/Pakistan issue broke out and already said this middle of last year. We are at the height of the final dissipating of empire and if you follow Hudson’s work it becomes a staggering fact of how many years this has continued on our planet. It is no wonder that we really don’t have ET’s. They don’t want to come here. In Pakistan, the area of Baloch declared independence from Pakistan and are urging India and the UN for recognition.

Update: Israel ends Gaza aid blockade

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (I don’t know yet if this is the US organization muscling in on the aid looking for a job for USAid that was integrated into the US State), has confirmed that Israel has agreed to resume aid deliveries after the two-month blockade. This is a new name to me.

The US said a few days ago that they will take over distribution of aid in Gaza. The professionals that spoke at Monday’s security council literally begged for the trucks to come in. “I beg you, let us work!” They say they are experienced they know how to do this and people are dying and a new program will just lead to more loss of life. It was heartbreaking testimony. The one senior fellow listed the genocides of modern memory and said that in each case, the support structures from the UN fell short. He begged! Let this not happen again!

So this is not confirmed yet, but the newly-created US Administered foundation claims that Israel ‘agreed’ to resume Gaza aid on May 24.

Yet today was a horrible day in Gaza. Airstrikes, fire belts, drones bombing temporary tent shelters burning people to death and to injury, two temporary hospitals shot to smithereens, dead babies, dead people, dead youngsters. Israel itensified and dozens have been killed. If the aid was agreed to, which I cannot see that it could not have been after Monday’s Security Council Meeting, Israel is now as they usually do, punishing Gaza again.

The Israeli army released a video after bombing the European Hospital, claiming it was targeting “underground terrorist infrastructure.” They had literally drawn the so-called underground targets onto an image of the hospital-but the image wasn’t even of the hospital.

One cannot imagine that the situation can get worse, but it is worsening. People talk about a war, but it is not a war. It is calculated killing of masses of people. We call that genocide and the US and the Gulf countries are allowing it to continue.

The Al-Aqsa Brigades sets traps and Israeli soldiers are also being killed in larger numbers now. Israel is sick of Netanyahu. It looks bad now, but something will give way. I hope we have some Palestinians left.

UNIFIL Statement – this is today and about Lebanon

UNIFIL is concerned by the recent aggressive posture of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) involving UNIFIL personnel and assets near the Blue Line, including yesterday’s incident in which a direct fire hit the perimeter of a UNIFIL position south of the village of Kfar Shouba.

In yesterday’s incident, peacekeepers observed two shots fired from south of the Blue Line with one of them hitting the UNIFIL base.

This marks the first time a UNIFIL position has been directly hit since the 27 November cessation of hostilities understanding while in this period UNIFIL has observed at least four other incidents involving IDF fire near its positions along the Blue Line.

In recent days, UNIFIL has also observed other aggressive behaviour by the IDF towards peacekeepers performing operational activities in accordance with Security Council Resolution 1701.

Also yesterday, UNIFIL peacekeepers performing a patrol with the Lebanese army near Maroun ar-Ra’s reported being targeted by a laser from a nearby IDF position.

In another incident south of Alma ash-Shaab on 7 May, laser beams were pointed towards a UNIFIL patrol from two IDF Merkava tanks. As the patrol began to move, a drone flew approximately five metres above it, following the patrol for about a kilometre. Separately, on the same day, an aerial vehicle repeatedly flew over a UNIFIL position east of Houla.

UNIFIL protests all such and we continue to remind all actors of their responsibility to ensure the safety and security of UN personnel and property and to respect the inviolability of UN assets and premises at all times.

Today we can remove India and Pakistan from this thread.  Despite a rocky start to the truce, India has released water toward Pakistan from the Chenab River Dam.  Earlier in the conflict,  India had blocked entirely the dam’s flow, effectively cutting off water supply downstream to Pakistan.

It is good that most of the shooting has stopped, but have no illusions:  The U.S. triggered the off-switch on the India-Pakistan dogfight, and now suddenly it’s talking about “resolving” the Kashmir issue. Likely, Washington aims to exploit the conflict either to justify deeper interference in Kashmir or to position itself—perhaps even militarily base—as a counterweight to China in the region. Whatever the plan, time will reveal the true agenda.

The Al-Qassam Brigades released a short while ago the captive Israeli soldier, Idan Alexander, who holds American citizenship. The release followed contacts with the US administration, as part of the efforts being made by mediators to achieve a ceasefire, open the crossings, and allow aid and relief to reach our people in the Gaza Strip.

This step comes after important contacts in which Hamas demonstrated positivity and high flexibility.

We affirm that serious and responsible negotiations will achieve results in releasing prisoners. Continuing the aggression, however, will prolong their suffering and may even kill them.

We affirm the movement’s readiness to immediately begin negotiations to reach a comprehensive agreement for a sustainable ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army, the end of the siege, the exchange of prisoners, and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

This young man, Mohammad Al-Tabbasi, received a call from the Israeli occupation forces ordering him to stand behind a sand dune in the Sawafi area of Khan Younis, just behind the Al-Rahma displacement camp, so they could carry out his execution in isolation. They threatened that if he refused, they would bomb the entire camp.

He rushed to say his final goodbyes to his family: “Tell people to pray for me and forgive me,” then ran to the spot where he would meet his death behind the dune. He uttered the takbir and began his final prayer…then they bombed him.

Have you ever witnessed such savagery, such terrorism? This is not an isolated incident. First sea, now AIR: Yemen to impose a complete air blockade on Israel. The Houthis vow REPEATED strikes on Ben Gurion Airport, with Army spokesman Saree instructing all international airlines to keep Ben Gurion off their itineraries. At least 30 international airlines, many of them Western, have crossed Israel off their lists for at least the next few days.
The Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC) in Sana’a has sent a letter to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regarding a decision to impose a complete ban on air traffic to and from Israeli airports.

In a statement issued by the center, it emphasized that the letter to ICAO and IATA informed them of the ban to take necessary actions within their mandates and to coordinate with relevant authorities (ATS) to avoid air traffic to and from Israeli airports, especially Ben Gurion Airport, as these airports are continuously at risk of being targeted by the Yemeni armed forces.

The letter comes as part of the Republic of Yemen’s commitment to the safety of civil aviation, which falls under the responsibilities of ICAO and IATA, in accordance with document (Doc 9554-AN/932) and the regulations outlined in ICAO’s Annex (Annex 11) and Annex (Annex 15), as well as other relevant documents.

The center expressed hope that the addressed parties would take the necessary measures to ensure air traffic safety, including disseminating warnings and aviation information to aircraft and coordinating efforts with concerned countries to implement appropriate actions to protect aircraft.

The ban is set to begin on May 4, 2025, at 22:42 local time in Sana’a, which corresponds to May 4, 2025, at 19:42 UTC, and will remain in effect indefinitely.

Additionally, the center expressed hope that everyone would understand this measure as a humanitarian and ethical action, urging all to exert pressure on the Israeli occupying entity to cease acts of genocide and the ongoing starvation and siege of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The center concluded its letter by requesting a prompt response as an acknowledgment of receipt; otherwise, the confirmation of the “method of transmission used” to deliver this notice will be considered an acknowledgment of its receipt.

IDF to call up TENS OF THOUSANDS of reservists as Gaza operation expands – reports

The Israeli military will begin mobilizing tens of thousands of reservists starting Sunday, ramping up preparations for the next stage of its Gaza campaign (https://t.me/geopolitics_live/48431), The Jerusalem Post reported.

I am unable to say anything about the rankings, a little hungry, a lot hungry, busy dying hungry .. all in perfect scientific language to describe children dying of hunger.  I am unable to describe the video where a child of about 10 or 12 stood explaining that it is OK for them to have no food, as they are bigger, but the young children have no food.

Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA Commissioner-General, stated that over 50 UNRWA staff members, including teachers, doctors, and social workers, have been abducted by the Israeli army since the beginning of the ongoing war in October 2023.

The Israeli occupation repeatedly treated them inhumanely, beating them and using them as human shields. Detainees also reported being subjected to sleep deprivation, humiliation, threats of harm to them and their families, and attacks by dogs.

“I wished for death to end the nightmare I was living through,” said one freed UNRWA worker after being released.

The Houthis are announcing reinforcements to their ranks. Amid publications about active preparations for a ground offensive on Hodeida, several hundred soldiers and officers of the so-called “Yemeni National Resistance”, which is directly funded by the Emirates (and therefore indirectly financed by the US), have defected to the Ansar Allah movement. All of them are already in Sana’a.

Similar episodes have taken place before. With the external reputation of “slipper wearers who shoot down Reapers”, the Houthis also know how to quite effectively convert those who are “charged” specifically against them. Today Israeli forces have intensified their raids across the West Bank, beating and arbitrarily abducting people in the occupied Palestinian territory.  The latest numbers and we know we can multiply this by around 3:  death toll from US-Israeli genocidal genocidal crimes in Gaza since Oct. 2023 tops 52,310 people with 117,790 injured.

A US airstrike on a migrant detention centre in Yemen’s northern Sa’ada province has massacred and injured at least 115 African migrants, according to local reports. The centre, which housed refugees mainly from Ethiopia and other East African nations, was completely destroyed, with footage showing bodies pulled from the rubble and survivors desperately searching for loved ones. Yemeni officials accused Washington of deliberately targeting civilians under the guise of counterterrorism operations, escalating what they describe as a war of collective punishment.

The brutal massacre comes amid an intensification of US military aggression across Yemen following the collapse of the Gaza ceasefire. Witnesses at the site described scenes of horror, with charred bodies and scattered belongings strewn across the ruins. Yemeni authorities and humanitarian groups have condemned the attack as a blatant war crime, calling for immediate international investigation and accountability.

The situation between India/Pakistan, after the terrorist attack on a bus full of tourists in Kashmir, is threatening to explode into another regional war. We hope for the best. What I observe is de-escalating talk from Pakistan and escalating talk from India. Yesterday there were reports of small arms fire along the line of control Iran offered help and mediation. The timing of this event is highly suspicious. It does seem that death and mayhem follows Smokey Eyed Eyeliner Enhanced Vance.

The Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif told Ria Novosti that the terrorist attack is unlikely to escalate to an exchange of nuclear strikes between India and Pakistan. They are already talking nuclear – two nuclear states are in a standoff position. NOT Good! WhoDun’It?

This may be a hint for you. In London protests yesterday, the Indians protested with Israeli flags and the Pakistanis with Palestinian flags.
