No Choice
Does the Sun have a choice how it travels through the Milky Way? Does a tree have a choice how long it lives? Does a deer have a choice where it finds food? Does a human being have a choice in what level of consciousness increases?
We think we have a choice, but that is very relative. Yes, of course you can choose whether to turn left or right. However, your whole life does not depend on that. No, not even if you were to die by that choice. The individual is not about the evolution of man, even though an individual can influence the collective and thus evolution. But if that is so, it is already dictated by that evolution itself.
Man cannot possibly determine her own evolution any more than the Sun, a tree or a deer can. It is determined for us. It is, so to speak, already written in the stars how evolution will work out. Man, however, is uncertain and searching, thinking he can determine the future. Man prefers to control as much as possible. Man wants to have choice. The idea that we have no choice evokes fear and we run away from that.
Religions have long played a role in regulating the fear of the future. The fear of death is essentially the same as the fear of life. When you can trust in God, you don’t need to be afraid. But man has switched in large numbers from God to science. With that, a certainty has fallen away and now we are again afraid and trying with all our might to control life in all its facets.
We are manipulating the weather. We are doing genetic manipulation of our food. More and more laws and regulations must prevent anyone from standing out from the crowd too much. Instead of education being tailor-made creativity, our children are being molded into just a few prototypes. So what is there left to choose?
What is all of life really about? What is the purpose of life? What is the purpose of evolution, of man and all of life? What is nature showing us here?
In this universe, stars are born. Planets are formed with powerful elements which are building blocks for the energy that can materialize. Through the universe life oscillates as divine DNA that can descend anywhere. Where that divine DNA comes into contact with a receptive planet, life is born. After that conception, the living divine DNA unfolds naturally, that is, it executes the divine program it has been given. There is no choice.
You can think of this as faith, but just as much as science. It is approximately. As if man can ever understand what “the plan” is. Any more than an ant will ever understand the human world. A sign that evolution is a certain growth in consciousness. The goal of all life is growth in consciousness. Human beings can become more and more conscious. That is to be hoped, because we are not in a very good position at the moment.
Humanity is becoming more conscious. The question is how we do that. And whether we have a choice in doing so. Can we become more conscious as individuals? Because why are a few aware of it, but the masses are totally unaware of it yet? Even some very wise people, forerunners, have not got the masses on board with that process.
You would say we must have the knowledge and experience now to make a difference. There are books with wise lessons. But man keeps repeating his mistakes. It seems that man does not yet have the capacity to become more conscious. Because even if an individual does want to change, it is not said that he or she can. Is that will sufficiently present? This all has to do with choice. And the way the world is set up now, I daresay we don’t have that much choice at all.
That doesn’t mean we have to do nothing then. It says we cannot look to someone else to do “the work” for us. Our individual choice to turn left or right is purely about ourselves. We individually have a choice to want to become more conscious. Whether others participate in that or not. That should not depend on that.
Have compassion for yourself, because actually you hardly have a choice in this too. It is all so relative. What description were you born with? What did you receive from God? Is that a profile in which you are sufficiently aware to become more conscious? Or is that a profile in which you fear death and thus life?
Evolution takes time and the universe has all the time. As if in a lifetime we can determine our future. Even destroying the Earth with our nuclear weapons does not eradicate life in this universe. It doesn’t matter to all of life, which rotates anyway. Our individual death does not matter either, life goes on without us. There is no death, because the universe consists only of life. Nothing stands still, everything is in motion. Let go of controlling thoughts and start feeling.
Consciousness is knowing that you are part of all life. Man is in the process of becoming man, just as the universe is in the process of becoming universe. The universe is already so far beyond us. Our thinking still has a long way to go. Especially as long as it believes that we have so much choice. Control is not the way. Surrender is.
We should not want to control the climate; we should conform to Mother Earth’s nature. Man has been given a beautiful trait, namely adaptability. Humility suits us. Creativity also befits us. Love should be our intention. Love for all of life. Love for Mother Earth. Love for trees and deer. Love for each other. Love for yourself.
All of life revolves around you. All you can do is become more conscious yourself. As far as you have a choice. Are you strong enough to break out of the mental prison of primitive society? Do you dare to face the universe and surrender to all of life? When you can make that choice, only then will you be free. The way inward is the only way for you. And it is also the only path for the evolution of consciousness. When you can be in your heart, then the collective will also become a little more conscious. No one is going to do that for you. It is up to you.
But actually I cannot show others the way. For it is purely my own path. It is the choice I make myself. As far as I can. In the reflection of life, my struggle is only a ripple that sometimes touches another. Sometimes for inspiration, sometimes as doctrine. I, too, am only human. Everything is relative. In essence, there is no choice.

The idea that we are “only human” and “have no choice”, is an expression of the laws of nature, or the laws of the physical universe, which in effect are the laws of the negative power. While the laws of nature are fixed and govern the lives of minerals, plants,… Read more »
Excellent Dimitar: From living inside the objective laws of the negative power, we are living from the outside in. And can feel confined within the laws of that external world. But slowly the soul begins to learn how to live from the inside out and in so doing discovers that,… Read more »

Good essay! Thanks! I would ramble on the topic… At the level of individual atoms the “decision” to decay into another element, radioactive decay, cannot be predicted, this seems to say that the universe is not a determinant system. Similarly genuine random numbers are easy to produce with a leaky… Read more »
