Satanism

By Nico Cost for Globalsouth.co

When a subject is mysterious, surprisingly most people prefer to stay away from it. Whereas in the case of an accident, the influx of people stands in the way of emergency responders. Thus, my writing is likely to “reach” few people.

Does satanism exist? Then what is satanism? What is this article actually about?

The following is my personal view. I am concerned with a train of thought, not a battle of definitions. It is meant to excite, not to convince you of my truth. You can find your truth within yourself only when you can let go of all conditioning.

Satan, the devil

I was not brought up religiously and even now I do not support religion. I do believe in “the source” and you can call that God. The one consciousness that created the dual matter. How exactly, I don’t know, because how can a human being ever know what higher levels of consciousness are and do.

Hieronymous Bosch – Garden of Early Delights

My vision assumes the creation of form by the formless. The consciousness of this universe creating this universe. The one creates the duality, which at the same time creates the trinity because between the two material forces of “attraction” and “repulsion” a certain balance must be present.

In this sense, you can say that God created the world. God as unity consciousness of the universe as a living being. Matter subject to two forces in balance. Matter infused with consciousness at all levels, just as the human body is infused with consciousness. In this sense, the universe and the human body do not even differ that much.

I cannot stress enough that my article is not about “THE truth” nor details. I am concerned with a train of thought. Actually, not about my train of thought, but about yours. Letting go of all learned knowledge to make contact with one’s own intuition. Making contact with unity consciousness, with God. I continue to find it funny that I do not believe in God and yet exchange thoughts with Him.

Did God then bring forth the devil? For what purpose? Then what is this devil?

Who knows the devil? An essential question that also demands stepping out of the human perspective. For do ants have to do with the devil? Are the seas subject to the devil? Is the Sun subject to the devil? I assume you answered “no” to these questions. The devil is purely a human phenomenon.

The All-Seeing Eye

A wolf biting twenty sheep to death in a fenced field is not possessed by the devil; that is simply an expression of his instinct. The human being who passes judgment on that by hating the wolf may be possessed by the devil. That man with a basically higher consciousness than that wolf should be able to consciously distance himself from his instincts and emotions. When that man fails to do so, accidents can occur.

The duality in man is not yet balanced, our species is not yet perfect. In my view, man is in the process of becoming essentially human. Our thinking is not yet sufficiently developed. We are still too much guided by instincts and emotions. Not that we should not have instincts or emotions, but letting yourself live by them is not our human potential. We can be conscious beings, but then we must come into balance.

When we hate “the bad” we do not know love. It is also incredibly difficult to be loving in an environment full of hate. Masaru Emoto’s experiments with water crystals speak for themselves. Enough is known about the effects of specific emotions on plants. A thousand people meditating for peace have impact. A thousand people who hate also have impact.

That the farmer curses that wolf when he finds his twenty sheep bitten to death is understandable. When he still curses that wolf after an hour he has unconsciously allowed the devil into himself. That is the duality between the good and the bad in man himself. God thinks nothing of this, for it is His plan to make man conscious.

Satan is not on a par with God. Satan exists purely in man’s thinking. Unconscious man knows the devil. In himself. He’s is afraid of that but can apparently use it.

Satanism, man

The lost human being is seeking. We are all on the path towards our Selves, to becoming true human. We long for love. To understand and be understood, to be touched by God.

Again, read between the lines if you have nothing to do with God. Don’t try to understand my text, but feel how your body interacts with the whole universe. If you can feel that, then the world really opens up to you. Feel your world by being still for a moment.

The unconscious man is afraid and is lived by his instincts and emotions. He draws strength from his fear. His survival mechanism does not let him down. When hatred becomes his driving force, Satanism arises. Where people can draw strength from the love of God, so can people draw strength from the hatred of the devil. People can surrender to love or want to control everything with hate.

Hate is a strong word, but my concern is with the many degrees of man’s negative thoughts. Unconscious man resists the idea that he has only a modest role in the evolution of this living universe God’s. By not wanting to face this, not able to surrender, accidents keep occurring. This keeps us from moving forward in evolution.

These accidents should not be underestimated. Man has been in the process of becoming human for millions of years. We walk in circles and keep repeating our lessons until we have learned them. Unfortunately, there are negative forces that thwart our awakening. We do this to ourselves. By not consciously looking at what is real. By not entering into our mystical experience. By believing what others say and write instead of entering into our own conversation with God.

So don’t believe me either.

Some people are so lost that they think they worship the devil. Satanism is not a conspiracy theory. People have always been lost given the many examples in our history where, for example, children were sacrificed on altars. Religions that encourage people to hurt themselves. Science that believes humans are allowed to play God. It takes place in many ways, but we need not look away from the Satanists who continue to shed blood on the many battlefields of our world today.

On the one hand the devil worshippers who literally ritually sacrifice people on altars at private gatherings. On the other, politicians and journalists who preach war because they have been brainwashed. They too are Satanists in a sense. They are unconscious, fearful and want control from a very narrow egocentric perspective. They hate.

Should we hate them? The devil worshippers in many forms from purely evil to follower deserve to be hated, but haven’t we been doing this for many thousands of years?

Yes, we too are only human. Indeed.

Now how do we break the cycle? Would the world really change if we eradicated all these Satanists? In a truly loving family, is there never a “bad” child born?

How does man change from an unconscious to a conscious being? Or do you think this is not possible? Should someone else solve this for us, God perhaps? Has God already decided this so we just have to wait for evolution to happen? Or is something expected of us humans? Do we have that potential? If so, how will that be expressed?

Do I have to do that myself?

Thank you for your comments which pierce through the myst. And indeed Steve, exactly why I choose that quote from Epicurus.

The quote from Epicurus demonstrates beautifully that the Western concept of God is flawed.

And do we see ourselves and our destruction of the environment in the unrestrained wolf, hence our hatred?

Steve and Nico: Interesting reference to Epicurus. I read it not so much as his own position but rather his critique of a common attitude. Lets call it a critique of a religious fantasy that denies the essence of the radical self. I think it is worth noting that Karl… Read more »

What I have learned at this point of my life is each of us, as individual beings, are completely responsible for our own actions. There will always be consequences, be it “good or bad”. Blaming “Satan or Satanism” like The Church Lady from SNL doesn’t resolve anything. Like my mother… Read more »

There are many ‘Hellfire & Brimstone’ preachers in the U$A, mostly in the southern regions of the eastern part of the country. They typically talk more about the perils of Satan than they speak of their ‘God’. I began to think years ago that anyone who spoke more of Satan,… Read more »
