The wars continue. Israel is agitating for war against the Lebanon says their Times of Israel with reference to the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Army Herzi Ha-Levi. The blue line border has a long and a storied current history. Read the violations section: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Line_(withdrawal_line). Hezbollah will not easily be defeated. Last night a a man of Syrian nationality (so they say) was responsible for a shooting at the US Embassy near Beirut. They also say but there are opposing reports here, that as a result of the shooting, one of the employees of the American embassy in Beirut was wounded. Causus Beli for bigger war abounds, neatly put into place. Israeli military calls up 50K reserve soldiers in preparation for possible escalation with Lebanon — Army Radio
Prime Minister Netanyahu has said Israel is prepared for a “very intense operation” on the Lebanese border. Hezbollah is not a ragtag army. A Lebanese lawmaker from Hezbollah’s political wing says the resistance movement is fully prepared for any possible scenario.

The last day or so has been sheer harrassment against the Palestinians from Israeli settler fanatics. They march through the Old City of Jerusalem and harrass journalists, dance at the entrance to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem and inside. Israel is still shooting into the Gaza and again the visuals I am not able to watch. The International Committee of the Red Cross: “There is no safe environment for our teams in Gaza to move freely to provide medical services.” Karin Huster from MSF International, speaking from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah, says in the last night alone, the hospital received 75 patients who were dead on arrival and over 350 critically wounded patients as a result of the indiscriminate Israeli attacks. The abductions are going great guns and the occupation Israel abducts 50 young men at a time, and a few beautiful young women.
Just now: Israeli warplanes launch airstrikes targeting Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. The IOF has escalated its bombing of the central camps area in the last two days. Hey Ho! Let’s shoot the refugees to silence this infernal bloodlust in our genes.
But SPIEF is on and we’re doing business.

Mr Lavrov in Burkina Faso says: The West is holding on to its Neo-colonial mindset. Speaking alongside his counterpart from Burkina Faso following bilateral talks, the Russian FM discussed several hot-button topics during his trip to Africa.
The FM noted that Washington is ordering multiple states to “cooperate with the United States against any competitor,” and called out the West trying to uphold the global hegemony as a “zero-sum game.”

Washington wants the EU to guarantee that their sanctions will continue. They want to give the Ukraine another 50 billion loan, but only if the EU can indefinitely prolong sanctions, which would freeze Russian assets and profits in the bloc, the inancial Times writes citing a leaked discussion.
The loan to Ukraine would then be repaid by the profits generated by Russia’s assets until the end of the conflict – so the US isn’t left on the hook for any repayments.
Precise details of the loan, like maturity and interest rates, remain to be determined, say the press.
(Of course, nobody is interested in those details.)

In six months, Israel has dropped more than 70,000 tons of bombs on Gaza, surpassing the bombing of Dresden, Hamburg, and London combined during World War II. https://t.co/UkgYq9qdIE

US President Joe Biden says there is “every reason” to conclude Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel is prolonging the savage military offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip due to his own political considerations.
US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller says that the US will continue to support Israel even though “it is reasonable to conclude that they may have” committed war crimes.
We need to get these people to a new Nuremberg.

The US House of Representatives passed a bill to impose sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC) for its move to issue arrest warrants for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials for war crimes in Gaza.

Modi declared victory in India and as in South Africa, his margin has been eroded materially and he may be short of a majority. All the numbers are not in yet. (Uhmm .. we have to take another look at all the BRICS countries).

Milei from Argentina is already blowing up in terms of his neo-liberal austerity.
After Milei’s ultra-neoliberal austerity cuts brought Argentina to the brink of energy collapse, his government ran to the “communists” in Brazil. 🔺 Israel bombed 15,000 children into smithereens in Gaza since October.
And the world does not lift a real finger to stop this. We have to stop this! This number is very much undercounted.
Oh, the world does stuff that makes themselves feel good. It is a nice gesture to recognize the Statehood of the Palestinians. But, how does that help those children? Why is there no further agitation to implement the ICJ ruling. Why is the ICC quiet – it owes us its ruling. The RoW should be in the corridors of the UN and the UNSC daily, agitating. The ordinary people of the world are out in the streets and these nincompoops are not!

Hamas states that Israel is not serious about reaching a deal in Gaza and they still maneuver under US cover.
Hezbollah repeats the message: Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, to Al Jazeera:
—
If “israel” wants to fight a comprehensive war, we are ready for it.
Our decision is not to expand the war, but we will fight it if it is imposed on us.
Any “israeli” expansion of the war on Lebanon will be met with devastation, destruction, and displacement in “israel.”
The resistance is ready for battle and will not allow “israel” to achieve any victory.
We received threats in the past two months, and our answer was that the Lebanon front is linked to Gaza.
Talk about the withdrawal of Radwan forces (https://t.me/PalestineResist/27827) from the Lebanese border with “israel” is incorrect.
We used a small portion of our capabilities in proportion to the nature of the battle.
Biden’s offer for calm lacks objectivity and is part of his internal American electoral proposition.
There is no serious American decision to stop the “israeli” war on Gaza.

South Korea plans to convene UN meeting on North Korea rights abuses
South Korea plans to convene in mid-June a public United Nations Security Council meeting on human rights abuses in North Korea, Seoul’s UN envoy said on Monday, a move that is likely to anger Pyongyang and face opposition from Russia and China.

The Dragon Boat Festival starts on the 10th of June. This will become an international event. Luxembourg holds the second international dragon boat festival – From Toronto to Taipai there are dragon boat festivals. Yeah, the date is wrong, but eh .. let’s row that boat. It is a fun event, even though the winning is serious.

Scott Ritter got on his plane to Russia today and he was pulled off, passport taken and no further information.
“As I was boarding my flight out of New York I was pulled aside by three CBP officers, who seized my passport. When asked why, they said orders of the State Department. No further information was provided. My bags were removed from the flight, and I was escorted out of the airport,” the former US Marine intelligence officer told Sputnik.
Ritter was slated to participate in the annual St.Petersburg International Economic Forum as a guest speaker.
Former New Jersey Superior Court judge Andrew Napolitano, author, and host of the Judging Freedom podcast on YouTube was also taken off the plane to Russia, (https://t.me/geopolitics_live/25626) Scott Ritter told Sputnik.

“The United States uses rules and order as hegemonic narratives. The U.S. applies rules and order only when it suits their interests. They use rules to suppress others but never restrain themselves. They have always acted selfishly, doing whatever they please. From Afghanistan to Iraq, from Ukraine to the Gaza Strip, all these crises and conflicts are the result of the U.S.’s self-serving double standards. Facts have proven that the U.S. is the biggest source of chaos in the world, the biggest obstacle to global governance, and the biggest challenge to regional peace and stability,” stated the general.
