ParticipantThe United States took charge of the management of the Israeli reigme’s nuclear centers a few days after Hamas launched the Al-Aqsa Storm operation outside Gaza:
https://en.mehrnews.com/news/208154/US-takes-control-of-Israeli-nuclear-plants-report
Prior to the war on Gaza, the Israeli military, particularly its air force, was grappling with strikes which resulted in the dismissal of a number of top generals. Moreover, the growing discord between the Israeli regime’s so-called Security Agency (aka Shabak or the Shin Bet) and the regime’s far-right security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, had gone public.After the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, the rift and mistrust within the Israeli regime’s organizations became so critical that paralyzed their function and forced the Zionist leaders to plead for US help.
Israeli regime’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a post on his X account last week, pointed the finger at the heads of the Zionist regime’s so-called security organizations for the defeat suffered during the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, but was forced to remove his post nine hours later due to mounting pressures and escalating disagreements.
Sources have told Tasnim that the threat of use of nukes against Gaza issued by a number of Zionist officials has been made in coordination with American officials.

ParticipantWhen Cultural and Economic Hegemony Fails Violence Tends to Follow:
https://rogerboyd.substack.com/p/when-cultural-and-economic-hegemony
Gramsci posited that as capitalist elite cultural hegemony fails, that elite will turn to greater levels of compulsion and state violence to remain in power; fascism. We are already seeing ever greater levels of state and private censorship, such as the banning of pro-Palestinian voices from YouTube together with state security forces attempts to disrupt and arrest pro-Palestinian demonstrators and label such voices as “antisemitic” and espousing “hate speech”.“Can the US and Western elites resign themselves to a multipolar world where they may have to accept the remit of international law rather than their self-serving “Liberal International Order” and a significantly lesser global role? After five centuries of Western dominance such a world will require a huge adjustment to the self-image of Western elites and the general populace that has been extensively propagandized with beliefs in Western civilizational superiority; echoed in the differential treatment of the deaths of “European” Israelis and Arab Palestinians. It will also require an acceptance of a significantly reduced ability to exploit other nations, as France has recently had to accept with respect to Niger. These challenges may be too much to bear for the Western elites, and a turn to violence in the face of the continued loss of cultural and economic hegemony is still very much on the cards. The distractions and delays provided by the Trump presidency, the Afghanistan debacle, the Ukraine debacle, the Gaza conflict and the 2024 US elections, together with Chinese, Russian and Iranian patience and intelligent diplomacy, may be seen in the future as some of the main factors that forestalled a global war. Time is on the side of the other 7 billion.”

ParticipantWhat international order?
by Thierry Meyssan
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219965.html
“We reproduce the text of Thierry Meyssan’s speech in Magdeburg (Germany), at the conference organized by the magazine Compact, “Amitié avec la Russie” , on November 4, 2023. In it, he explains what, in his view, constitutes the fundamental difference between the two conceptions of the world order now clashing from the Donbass to Gaza: that of the Western bloc and that to which the rest of the world refers. The question is not whether this order should be dominated by one power (unipolar) or by a group of powers (multipolar), but whether or not it should respect the sovereignty of each. He draws on the history of international law, as conceived by Tsar Nicholas II and Nobel Peace Prize winner Léon Bourgeois.”“Then they say, by virtue of their power moves, that this has become the custom. However, the Russian Federation, considering itself under siege, has also violated the Non-Proliferation Treaty and installed atomic bombs on the territory of Belarus. Of course, Belarus is not Cuba. Placing Russian nuclear bombs there changes nothing. It’s just a message sent to Washington: if you want to re-establish the Law of the Strongest, we can accept that too, except that, from now on, we’re the strongest.”

ParticipantDoes any Country have the right to invade Israel, occupy it, and enforce order and peace?
https://aftershock.news/?q=node/1309008
▪️From the point of view of international law and the UN, the Gaza Strip is an Israeli-occupied territory, which Western politicians and experts call nothing more than a concentration camp and an open-air prison.
▪️Israel occupied the West Bank of the Jordan River during the treacherous aggression of 1967, and since 1948, it has been under the jurisdiction of Jordan. Back then, the Zionists seized East Jerusalem (Jordan), the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt), the Syrian Golan Heights and the water on them. It was a classic “war of choice”, the main goals are as follows: expansion of living space, annexation of Lake Tiberias (Golan), re-access to the strategically important Suez Canal, previously this was done during another war of conquest in 1956, referred to in Israeli historiography as Operation Kadesh. The Egyptians managed to regain Sinai only 15 years later in 1982 as a result of a diplomatic process, but the rest was appropriated and occupied by the Zionists. Absolutely all the activities of Israel and Jewish settlers grossly violate international law and many binding UN Security Council resolutions.
▪️The Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War of 12 August 1949 prohibits the occupying party from transferring its civilian population to its occupied territory, but Israel is in grave violation of this Convention, as well as all international law. Currently, approximately 1.1 million Jewish civilian occupiers (1, 2, 3) live in the occupied territories of Palestine, they occupy the city of Jerusalem and the West Bank of the Jordan River(WBI) territories, 164 illegal settlements and 146 illegal outposts have been established, which even contradict Israeli law, since they are based on private or public land. This million-strong contingent is under the protection of numerous occupation forces.
▪️Since 2002, the occupation regime has been erecting a 712-kilometer-long barrier around the WBI, commonly referred to as the”Apartheid Wall”. To date, the construction of 65% of the plan has been completed, including a powerful fence, concrete blocks 8 meters high, observation towers and a network of checkpoints, as a result of which almost 10% of Palestinian land (from the so-called “green Line” of 1967) is confiscated, and about 60 thousand people are cut off from the West Bank of the Jordan River.
▪️On July 9, 2004, at the request of the UN General Assembly, the International Court of Justice, the main judicial organ of the United Nations, issued an advisory opinion on the legal consequences of the construction of a wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory of WBI. Here’s the main thing:“The construction of the wall being constructed by Israel, the occupying Power, in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, and the associated regime are contrary to international law;
Israel has an obligation to put an end to its violations of international law, and it has an obligation to immediately stop the construction of the wall;
Israel is obligated to make compensation for all damage caused by the construction of the wall;
The United Nations, and especially the General Assembly and the Security Council, should consider what further measures are needed to end the illegal situation resulting from the construction of the wall and impose the associated regime, with due regard to the present advisory opinion.”▪️Let me remind you that since 1948, the Zionists have violated more than 30 binding UN Security Council resolutions, logically and according to the UN Charter, Israel’s exclusion from the UN should have followed, global suffocating sanctions, both against the DPRK and terrorist organizations, as well as the introduction of an international contingent of troops that would force the aggressor to observe order by force of arms and peace.
▪️Therefore, any country, relying on numerous UN Security Council resolutions, has the right to invade Israel, occupy it, and force it to comply with the decisions of the international community.

ParticipantAnalysis by Military Chronicle:
The urban fighting between Hamas and the IDF in the Gaza Strip is remarkable for several reasons:▪️Firstly, it is clearly visible that Israeli army units are under the supervision of Palestinian militants. Hamas actively uses civilian drones for both air control and airdrops. Indirectly, this suggests that the IDF still does not use electronic warfare systems or uses them extremely limitedly.
▪️Secondly, it is noteworthy that IDF tank forces still do not practice dispersal of forces and prefer to keep equipment in large groups of 10-15 units, which makes it easier for Hamas to destroy it.
▪️Thirdly, it is clearly visible that there is no disorganization in the actions of Hamas, despite the presence of Israeli troops inside the Gaza Strip. The infantry fires at equipment and personnel, actively maneuvers between buildings and fires from grenade launchers from a distance of up to 150-200 meters.
▪️Fourthly, the IDF’s tactics are clearly visible. Ground troops move separately, tanks and equipment move separately. There is no mutual cover, as there was with units of the US Marine Corps during the battles in Iraq. The equipment moves from block to block, which slows down the operation and gives Hamas time to regroup.It is also curious that in some cases, Hamas goes behind the rear of advancing Israeli troops. Indirectly, this suggests that a significant part of the Hamas tunnels under the Gaza Strip are still functioning and allow Palestinians to move safely.

ParticipantForwarded from Older than Edda:
Israel’s main problem in the current war is the need to greatly and permanently increase the size of its armed forces. Even with American aid, this is by no means cheap: aid may give a lot, but it does not provide people, and the people the army has extracted from the civilian economy consume resources but do not produce them.In the 1970s, the swelling of the army, combined with external processes, despite US assistance, led to a recession and soaring inflation, which turned into hyperinflation in the 1980s. The reduction of the army was one of the necessary steps made possible by the Camp David Accords of 1979, which established peace between Israel and Egypt. The subsequent settlement of relations with Jordan (agreement of 1994) and the stabilization of relations with Syria at the level of “predictable hostility without excesses” made it possible to sharply reduce the regular army – the threat of war against the regular Arab armies was sharply reduced.
Now it turns out that a large army is still needed, and “peaceful” relations with Egypt, Jordan and Syria are not a guarantee in this turbulent world. Israel needs to build up its army, and here lies the risk of falling into the same trap again. At the same time, the United States today is not at all what it was in the eighties.

ParticipantThe split between Zaluzhny and Zelensky turned into a bloody feud. Ukrainians en masse accused the president of murdering the deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
https://www.kp.ru/daily/27578/4847916/
Zaluzhny’s 39-year-old assistant, Gennady Chistyakov, died in the Kyiv area. He allegedly blew himself up with a grenade. His son and daughter were seriously injured. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine continues to insist on the only official version – “careless handling of ammunition.” Although, you must admit, you have to be a very stupid person to cock a live grenade in the presence of your child in a closed room. And even more stupid to mistake a live grenade for souvenir shot glasses. This act of Gennady Chastyakov does not fit in with the position of assistant and the status of a friend of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Moreover, this version was refuted by Zaluzhny himself and now by the widow of his deceased assistant. In Ukraine, political scientists, politicians, and experts are confident that “accident” is not accidental. And there’s no need to say how sure the military are. As a matter of fact, from this alone one can understand what kind of morals reign there in their highest echelons.Forwarded from Colonelcassad:
Poroshenko’s minions claim that the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Umerov, has submitted a statement proposing Zaluzhny’s resignation.
A little earlier, Soros’s lieutenant Bezuglaya transparently hinted that Zaluzhny had a fake dissertation, which was concocted for him by the former regional leader Kivalov. In fact, this is part of the information preparation before a possible resignation.
Apparently, Zaluzhny’s hysterical article in the Western press was the last straw, after which “organizational conclusions” followed. It’s remarkable how Poroshenko’s gang and all sorts of trash like Arestovich rushed to Zaluzhny’s defense. They hope that the Americans will support him and that after the Americans hypothetically replace Zelensky with Zaluzhny, and they will become kings.
Ultimately, it is the United States that decides personnel issues in Ukraine, and they have previously stopped Zelensky’s attempts to get rid of Zaluzhny.
Now there is a second attempt.Zelensky’s team took the first step in the political struggle by sending a gift to Valera Zaluzhny’s assistant. Now, logically, Valera should take a reciprocal step by congratulating someone from Elensky’ gang 🤔
