Nima did an interview with Col. Wilkerson (yesterday?) … Nima brought up the attitude of Iranian people hating/disliking the American Gov’t … not the people and commenting the attitude is changing. As an American I believe we must take responsibility for what is happening in Gaza … what has happened in ME/West Asia … across the planet actually. Burying our heads in the sand and using the ‘narrative’ too busy making a living to pay attention to geopolitics and ‘getting our information from the tube’ is no excuse. We complain about our standard of living declining … while we live off the backs of the people of the world as the American boot sits upon their necks is obvious to even those Americans in denial, singing to the same sheet music while they hover in groupthink in blogs across the internet.
I’m so angry… and so tired of trying to NOT be angry as anger is useless… some heavy karma is coming for citizens of USA .

France has refused to participate in the scheme to purchase American weapons for Ukraine — Politico
▪️Paris has rejected Berlin’s initiative to finance American arms supplies to Kyiv. According to Politico, two French officials confirmed France’s refusal to participate in a scheme actively promoted by Germany amid a shortage of European weapons.
➖“France, whose president has long advocated the development of the EU’s own defense industry complex, is betting on purchases within Europe,” the publication notes.
▪️According to journalists, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands and four other northern European countries are participating in the project. France is a notable exception.<hr />

The US State Department has fired analysts on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
In total, we recall, about 1,350 people were asked to leave with their belongings. Among them are leading specialists of the intelligence bureau, including experts on Russia and Ukraine.

Alastair has a good piece today on his Substack page.
US hubris-driven blunders transform the entire complexion of the wider war
[Excerpt]
“Implicit in his ‘In-Boom-Out & Ceasefire’ Iran approach is that Trump may imagine he has created the space to resume his primary objective — that of instituting a broader Israeli-centric order across the Middle East, devolving upon trade deals, economic ties, investment and connectivity, to create a business-led West Asia, centred on Tel Aviv (with Trump as its de facto ‘President’).
And, via this ‘Business Super Highway’, to strike further beyond — with the Gulf States penetrating into BRICS’ south Asian heartland to disrupt BRICS connectivity and corridors.
The sine qua non for any jumpstart to a putative ‘Abraham Accords 2.0 of course — as Trump clearly understands — is an end to the Gaza War; the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza; and the Strip’s re-construction (none of which seems to be in realistic reach).
What emerges rather, is that Trump continues to be seized by the delusional view that his Israeli-centred vision could all be accomplished merely by ending the genocide in Gaza, but with the world watching aghast as Israel continues on a hegemonic military rampage across the region.”

ParticipantNoted:
Melania has not been in Washington since the ‘military parade’ … word is she’s spent less than 14 days there.
Sara accompanied her husband to Washington… inquiring minds wonder why. She didn’t accompany him on the other visits iirc. It wasn’t a ‘State Dinner’ … in fact it was originally scheduled to be a luncheon – with Trump and Nutty. Schedule changed to – meeting first with Witkoff (was he supposed to convince Nutty to fall in line… Trump was not going to pull out his chair this time?) and a short encounter with Rubio.
Sara was next to her husband at dinner/meeting … The only female if I observed the seating correctly.
