“Beirut is a different matter. It’s a Mediterranean city, not controlled by Hezbollah. Moreover, there are many Christians there, and they largely shape the life of the city. They may not be the majority, but they play a key role and shape the cultural identity of Beirut.
And at the same time, Israel is striking residential buildings in Beirut, Lebanon. Do you know what this military operation is called? “Eternal Darkness .” That’s the name Israel gave to the operation that killed hundreds of civilians in Lebanon, mostly in Beirut.
“Eternal darkness,” by the way, is an expression often found in the New Testament. It’s a euphemism for hell. And this is exactly what the author says Israel has brought to the Christians of Lebanon.
Here’s the video. Thank you. This is starting to look like Gaza. And, in essence, that’s the goal of Operation Eternal Darkness.
But what does it look like on the ground? We’re talking about civilians killed by Israeli forces using American weapons and US taxpayer funds—in an attempt to disrupt the ceasefire the US president had previously announced to the relief of Americans. All of this was stopped by Operation Eternal Darkness.
