US Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna stated that many politicians from both parties in the US are against a peaceful settlement in Ukraine because they allegedly have personal investments in defense company stocks and are therefore interested in continuing the conflict.
“I want to point out that there are a lot of people, and not just Democrats in Washington, who don’t want this peace deal to happen because many of them have personal interests in certain defense contractors, and their personal investments are tied to the stocks of those companies. That’s why we’re seeing resistance,” she said on Fox News.
