⚡️The ban on Samidoun by German officials is active participation in the ongoing genocide on Gaza. The purpose of such a ban is to repress dissent with the full force of the state. It comes hand in hand with bans on demonstrations, police assaulting people on the streets for wearing a kuffiyeh or carrying a Palestinian flag, the ban on saying “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” the imposition of political bans, the efforts to deport activists or strip them of residency.

All of this is full-on complicity and participation in genocide. As we speak to you today, Israeli occupation forces just carried out a new massacre in al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, bombing 30 homes in a heavily populated camp. The German state and the Ministry of the Interior are choosing to support these attacks by waging a campaign of terror and repression against those who dare to speak out against these ongoing crimes, who want to mobilize people to put an end to destruction, war, occupation and colonialism.

The German state and all imperialist powers, following the lead of U.S. President Biden, are partners not only in the defamation and dehumanization of the Palestinian people but the murderous war crimes and crimes against humanity of the occupation regime. It comes at a time when more people than ever are speaking out for justice and liberation in Palestine and is meant as an attack on the movement as a whole.

If it is possible to ban Samidoun, then it is possible to ban every political organization and group in Germany that challenges the politics of the German state and its imperialist role. This action comes hand in hand with the United States’ ongoing resupply of bombs to target the Palestinian people in Gaza. It is meant to bolster the Israeli war effort by depriving the Palestinian people of popular support on the streets.

This is also a racist assault on the Palestinian and Arab community. Samidoun in Germany is led by Palestinian refugee youth, and the German media has engaged in a blatantly racist smear campaign intended to incite the most racist and fascist forces in the country against the Palestinian community, which is the largest in Europe. The police in Berlin have engaged in an ongoing, targeted and offensive assault against Arab neighbourhoods and communities. Samidoun activists have faced severe repression, such as Zaid Abdulnasser being threatened with stripping his residency and Musaab Abu Atta being subjected to a political ban. Other activists have been threatened with deportation for merely attending protests and events. This ban is meant to keep the communities silenced by terror and fear, to repress the voice of youth, and to empower the most racist and fascist forces against the Palestinian people both in Germany and in Palestine.

The attack on Samidoun is part and parcel of the attack on the Palestinian people as a whole. It reflects the German state’s imperialist interests. Far from expressing a sense of guilt or responsibility for Nazi crimes and genocide, this action evidences the German state’s aggressive dedication to and promotion of racism, repression and war crimes. We must be clear: Germany has no legitimacy or authority to speak on human rights, freedoms or democracy. It is dedicated to stripping all of those things from anyone who speaks out against genocide and colonialism in Palestine. Through this ban, the German state wishes not only to support genocide but to criminalize even verbal resistance to that genocide. The Palestinian people, like all colonized and oppressed peoples, have the right to resist to liberate themselves and their land from colonialism and occupation, from the river to the sea. Those who resist occupation and oppression — the Palestinian resistance — are not only heroes of the Palestinian people, they are defenders of all of humanity.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) affirmed that France’s announcement of sending one of its warships to the Mediterranean is nothing but further participation and involvement in the aggression against our people. France must understand the consequences of this action well.

Last night and early this morning, Friday, “israeli” occupation forces arrested at least 55 citizens from the West Bank, including journalists, former prisoners, and siblings, in light of the comprehensive aggression and the ongoing arrest campaigns, and the systematic retaliatory assault against our people.

The arrests were concentrated in Al-Khalil governorate, while the rest were distributed across the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem, Areeha, and Al-Quds, accompanied by systematic abuse against the detainees and their families, and acts of sabotage that affected the homes of citizens.

Thus, the total number of arrests since the 7th of October has risen to more than 1985 cases. This total includes those who were arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those whose family members were held as hostages.
⚡️🚨 The Prisoners Affairs’ Commission and the Prisoners’ Club stated that according to the monitoring conducted by Palestinian Prisoners’ institutions, 2070 arrest cases were documented in the West Bank, including Al-Quds [Jerusalem], during October 2023, among them 145 children, and more than 55 women.

The most significant change concerning the prisoners’ data is the sharp increase in the crime of administrative detention, where the occupation issued 1,034 administrative detention orders during October, among them 904 new orders, and 130 renewal orders.

The occupation escalated arrest campaigns after October 7, with the number of arrests reaching 1760 by the end of October, covering all categories. The average daily arrests after this date were around 73, which is three times the number of prior arrest campaigns, including 17 journalists, and 14 members of parliament were arrested.

Regarding administrative detention, the occupation issued 872 orders after October 7, most of them new orders. The prisoners’ institutions note that after this date, arrest campaigns were concentrated in Al-Khalil governorate and its towns, with 500 arrests, followed by Al-Quds with more than 400 arrests.

The prisoners’ institutions clarify that the above data on arrest cases include everyone who was arrested during this period, whether the occupation continued their detention and subsequently transferred them to prisons, or those who were released shortly after arrest. This data also includes those who were systematically arrested from their homes, through military checkpoints, following summons, and those who were taken as hostages from the family to pressure a family member to surrender.

The rate of arrest cases in the West Bank executed during the month is the highest since the years of Al-Aqsa Intifada. In addition to arrests suffered by our people in the territories occupied in 1948, accurate data on which are not available, as well as the number of detainees from Gaza including workers.

According to the data, the number of prisoners in occupation jails until the end of October was about 7,000, including 62 female prisoners. Accurate numbers of child detainees are not available, the number of administrative detainees (detained without charge) reached 2070, and the number of detainees from Gaza classified by the occupation as “unlawful combatants” is 105.  [the simultaneous ethnic cleansing in the West Bank is breathtaking in audacity and ruthlessness. I think the news that Algeria will declare war on the zionists is false. It has its own issues — the Anglo-French poodle of Morocco is overtly hostile to it on its western flank, enemy NATO to its north, and the terrorism-plagued Sahel and Libya surround it on other flanks. It has been given a significant role in Resistance camp to evict the French and west from the Sahel, to guard the Sahelian northern approaches, and serve as logistics lifeline to landlocked Mali-Burkina-Niger. This is a sufficient blow to the West, depriving them of tremendous minerals and resource-wealth including uranium and the colonial Franc/Euro which support the Petrodollar, the essentially limitless free manpower in slave mines, not to mention loss of huge prestige which stimulates anti-imperialism everywhere else, as you just saw by Yemeni citation above. Algeria just needs to hold the Sahelian front and keep a portion of NATO diverted in West Med.

Algeria additionally has one of largest land territories on earth, being 10th biggest by area. General Surovikin and other Russian delegations visited Algeria recently. Russia has been pouring armaments and aerial defense and attack platforms into Algeria, to the tune of tens of billions. It CAN impact the Western and Central Med region, influencing calculations of the armada in the East Med and 100+ US bases in Italy… It’s S400 can reach ~400 km, and along with superior Russian fighter-bombers affect movements through Gibraltar and what remains of the armada after they flee the East Med — they can be annihilated in the West Med by a waiting Algeria.
