    Sea-Based Nuclear Missiles

    • RSM-56 Bulava: This sub-launched missile is the backbone of the naval component of Russia’s nuclear triad. Each missile carries 6-10 warheads with a 100-150 kt yield (576 warheads total). Subs armed with Bulavas patrol the North Sea, the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, waiting for a counterstrike.
    • R-29RMU2 Sineva/R-29RMU2 Layner: SLBMs with either 4×500 kt or 10-12×100 kt warheads. Total arsenal includes about 320 warheads.

⭕ 🇮🇷🇷🇺 Iran, Russia working on President Pezeshkian’s visit to Russia to conclude an agreement on comprehensive strategic cooperation, ambassador says

“The exact date of the Iranian president’s visit to Russia to sign a comprehensive agreement between the two countries has not yet been determined, but we are working with the Russian side so that we can find a suitable time for Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to Moscow,” Kazem Jalali told Sputnik.

🤝 Tehran and Moscow have no problems in concluding an agreement on comprehensive strategic cooperation, the ambassador added.

“There are no problems in concluding an agreement. The agreement has been prepared,” he noted.

Now the new Iranian government has a serious intention to conclude all the previously prepared agreements with Moscow, though the signing has been postponed due to the death of former president Ebrahim Raisi, the ambassador stressed.
[something’s off about this entire unnecessary drama. Why the coyness and long delay??]

    💠@Yemen | Bab-el-Mandeb:
    [Hezbollah Fatah 110 missile]
⭕ We have just received breaking news from a resistance source in the Gaza Strip. According to our exclusive source in Gaza, Hamas fighters ambushed a group of Israeli occupation soldiers in a well-planned trap and engaged in close-range combat, resulting in the elimination of all Israeli soldiers.
[this was about 16 hours ago. Appears a huge blow. It shall be duly hidden and slowly revealed, bodywashed in the usual Anglo-Zionazi style]
⭕ The resistance source in the Gaza Strip has confirmed to Bab al-Mandab Yemen Channel that the number of fatalities among Israeli occupation soldiers in the ambush exceeds 30 soldiers and officers.
⭕ The resistance source in the Gaza Strip has informed Bab al-Mandab Channel that the Israeli occupation army is expected to announce in the coming hours, as usual, the death of one or two soldiers. This is intended to conceal the true number of their casualties and to maintain the morale of their defeated troops in the sands of the Gaza Strip.
⭕ It is good that Gaza has revealed the traitors among our people. However, one of the greatest blessings is that it has also uncovered the loyal, the good, and the sincere individuals from this nation. Events always reveal to us who our enemies are and who our friends and loyalists are.
[among the reasons for wars between good and evil. Though we may detest war, it is the ultimate crucible]
⭕ 🚨 The aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” has departed, leaving the Middle East without a single American aircraft carrier for the second time.

    💠@Intel Slava Z:
⭕ 🇺🇸🇷🇺“The Economist” warms up the audience with apocalyptic images. But what does Trump have to do with it if Biden’s gang is starting a nuclear war? Apparently, this is what they are going to leave Trump as an inheritance.
[Trump has everything to do with it. And he is the prophesied Last American Prez for a reason]
⭕ The US has notified South Korea of its decision to use its missiles against Russia, Yonhap writes

The South Korean side was only notified, since “this issue does not require the direct participation of the Republic of Korea,” the agency’s source noted.

    💠@imetatronink:
⭕ 🤦‍♂️ I keep seeing maps similar to this one, which plots missile ranges from the Ukraine border.

    These maps are meaningless.

One must instead assess the realistic launch points, all of which would be considerably inside the borders indicated — particularly ALCMs. |media|
⭕ 🤔 Thoughts on Missile Strikes “Deep into Russia”

    🔹ATACMS

ATACMS is a high-flying ballistic missile with a fixed trajectory. 200kg warhead; effective range <300km; previously shipped to Ukraine only in the cluster munition variety.

The Russians have shot down far more than have hit targets. Of the last 100 or so shot down, the ratio has typically been in excess of 90%.

ATACMS is a mediocre, antiquated missile with limited effective range. It is FAR inferior to the Russian Iskander in every respect.

    🔹 Storm Shadow / SCALP-EG

Storm Shadow / SCALP achieved a handful of early successes in Ukraine, but has since been shot down by the hundreds. It has been what the old-timers in my neck of the woods call “easy pickins”.

SCALP-EG is a subsonic, low-flying, maneuvering cruise missile. 450kg warhead, with ~500km range. BUT, to have any significant reach, it must be launched from an aircraft flying at high altitude. As with all air-launched cruise missiles, there is a direct correlation between the altitude at which the missile is launched, and its achievable range.

And this is where the big problem lies. When the launch aircraft rise to high altitude, they will light up all the Russian air defense radars across a broad swath of the front.

If you assume a very conservative 200km “kill radius” for Russian S-300 and S-400 missiles, virtually all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper is covered.

Of course, it must now be recognized that there is no longer any Ukrainian Air Force to speak of. It has given up the ghost, so to speak.

So the only practicable option is NATO aircraft flying out of Poland or Romania.

And those NATO pilots are going to have to launch from points considerably west of the Dnieper in order to stay out of the crosshairs of long-range Russian AD systems.

A vanguard operation to take out Russian air defenses is effectively out of the question. There will be no aerial refueling over Ukraine, nor any meaningful combat air patrol.

There is also negligible NATO air defense capability over Ukraine. The Russians are very likely to launch a significant number of fighters to oppose any cruise missile launches by NATO aircraft.

The Russians are also very likely to attack US/NATO ISR assets in the theater of battle.

Bottom line: I consider all this talk about “missile strikes deep into Russia” nothing but a chimera.

If the fools in the US/NATO do in fact attempt it to any appreciable degree, it may achieve some token triumphs, but its own losses will far outweigh those chimeric “victories”.
🔻 C1: Nobody is saying these ATACMS and Storm Shadows are a serious threat to Russia. Just that Russia considers their launch with a Russian target to be an act of war by US & NATO. It’s not clear that even a launch where the missile is stopped makes a difference.
🔻 WS: The fact is that MANY people are saying these threatened missile strikes are able to significantly hurt Russia.

That said, I fully agree that Russia will act boldly in response to such attacks — successful or not.

The Russians will consider it imperative to counterstrike.
🔻 C2: Everything is correct. But that’s not the point… Russia Federation military doctrine will consider this as USA-NATO attack on Russia Federation. For start Russia will retaliate and obliterated Kiev and some other Ukraine big towns. Russia will burn evey USA-NATO soldier in Ukraine. If USA-NATO don’t stop…. Next step is nuclear WW3.
I hope cool heads will prevail.
🔻 WS: I do not believe Russia will “obliterate” Kiev or other large Ukrainian cities. That would serve no purpose. They will act boldly, but always pursuant to their long-term objectives.
🔻 C3: There is also the question of when–not only will Russia act pursuant to their long-term objectives, they will also only act when appropriate. If, however, a ‘leaker’ gets through & hits an NPP or comparably sensitive target, expect Russian response(s) to reflect this.
🔻 WS: I’m sure there would flaming hell to pay if they struck a NPP — and not in Ukraine. It would be in the NATO countries that were ultimately responsible — like maybe sinking the Royal Navy in an afternoon. That would raise some eyebrows around the world.
🔻 C4: If Ukraine is able to kill large numbers of civilians in Moscow, Russia will likely make the Ukrainians pay a heavy price.
🔻 WS: Ukraine is NOT able to launch serious strike missiles at Moscow.
🔻 C5: The significance of this step is not that is poses a military problem to Russia or improves the situation of Ukraine on the battlefield.
The significance of this lies in the fact that NATO officially enters the fight.
🔻 WS: I won’t be suprised if nothing at all meaningful happens.
🔻 C6: I understand your point of view. now I’m curious. In your opinion, how would the USA react if American territories were hit by Russian missiles ? even if it was just a few symbolic strikes 😉
🔻 WS: It is an irrelevant hypothetical. The situation is what it is. The US already has military bases scattered throughout Europe. Russia understands it must roll back NATO power in Europe very carefully in order to avoid a global catastrophe.

It is a very complicated calculation.
🔻 C7: How would the USA react if American navy ships were hit by Houthi missiles? They would run away like the cowards they are.
🔻 WS: The USS Eisenhower absolutely ran away like a beaten dog. The USS Lincoln mostly just wandered aimlessly, safely out in the deep blue water of the Arabian Sea. But now it, too, is running away.

Once again, there is no US carrier presence anywhere in the region.
🔻 C8: Don’t remember which Russian war correspondent wrote about this and basically said those ATACMS created serious problems to Russian logistics to the point they stretched logistics thin and hindered progress along the front, based on that, this will cause serious issues to RU Army
🔻 WS: Over the entire course of this war, there has never been a shortage of clueless sixth-columnist Russian war correspondents.
🔻 C9: Hou forget to mention ATACAMS are also capable of fitting nuclear warhead.
🔻 WS: I don’t believe that is currently true.
🔻 C10: South Korean pilots flying South Korean F-16 out of Romania: |media|
🔻 WS: I assess the probability of this development to be ZERO.
🔻 C11: I agree with what you’re trying to say, but I have to point out that a 200km kill range by *any* SAM versus a fighter is extremely optimistic, not conservative.
🔻 WS: The Russians, firing an S-400 interceptor from southern Belarus, iirc, shot down a Ukrainian fighter at a distance of ~350km early in the war. 200km is well within the range of S-300, S-400, and S-500. And Russian AAMs (R-37 et al.) can kill reliably at 300km.
🔻 C12: Nobody is saying these ATACMS and Storm Shadows are a serious threat to Russia. Just that Russia considers their launch with a Russian target to be an act of war by US & NATO. It’s not clear that even a launch where the missile is stopped makes a difference.

On the other hand, many pundits are saying Russia’s response will be nuclear. I don’t think that will happen in this situation, but there will be a response.
🔻 WS: I do not believe Russia will respond with nuclear strikes in the face of a defeated NATO conventional attack. In my view, they can decisively defeat NATO power in eastern Europe via conventional means.
🔻 C12: The danger is that the ideology-driven lunatics in DC would respond to Russia’s conventional strikes with nukes. That I can see. Though this may cause some unpredictable friction between the US military (which still has some rational people) and the political crazies.
🔻 WS: I don’t believe the powers that be in Washington are suicidal. At least not yet.
[aha! Did I see two, or three, qualifiers enter the considered judgment? Hope dies last]
🔻 C13: The significance of this step is not that is poses a military problem to Russia or improves the situation of Ukraine on the battlefield.
The significance of this lies in the fact that NATO officially enters the fight.
🔻 WS: I won’t be suprised if nothing at all meaningful happens.
🔻 C14: You’re missing the point. Read the article, former head of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff: “This can seriously change the balance of forces and means in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”
🔻 WS: Nonsense. Several salvos of a dozen or more ATACMS were fired at targets in Crimea on multiple occasions. Over 90% of them were shot down or defeated via ECM. Even the Pentagon eventually admitted the ATACMS was struggling to hit anything. GMLRS was down to <5% by summer.
🔻 C14: You’ve been asked to provide a proof to these fairy tales
🔻 WS: It’s not my job to compensate for your lack of attention to the details of this war. Besides, from what I can ascertain scanning briefly through your timeline, you are much more an aficionado of #TheImaginaryWar.
🔻 C15: All correct, but the missiles could serve as a cover for an attack of another nature (other than drones…) like the one in Toropets of August 2024.
🔻 WS: The attack on Toropets was a one-off. They’ve tried the same thing several times since then, but achieved virtually zero successes. The Russians adapted their approach, and have recently been shooting (or defeating via ECM) 100% of 100+ long-range drone salvos.
🔻 C16: Act boldly, how exactly? More boldly or less boldly than how Russia acted when for the first, and likely last time, in the history of warfare a non-nuclear armed country invaded a nuclear armed country and months later they are still there?
🔻 C17: The ukronazis have lost over 32,000 of their best soldiers killed in the Kursk region since August, why rush to push out the enemy when zelensky keeps funneling his best troops there to be killed at leisure at the cost of other front line positions 😂
🔻 C16: I suppose all those 32,000 soldiers were killed by 17 Russians with no losses? No loss of hardware or destruction of property either? And far more importantly, no loss of Russian civilian lives? There are always two sides to a story. Your bias only allowed you to listen to one.
🔻 WS: The problem is that so few people understand that this war is producing the most disproportionate casualty ratio of any major war in modern times — BY DESIGN. The Russians are conducting a patient war of annihilation, and executing it in an extraordinarily economical fashion.
    ⭕ Retweet:
🔻 @_whitneywebb: If Trump is still bragging about the military-run Op Warp Speed and the removal of regulations it also entailed so mRNA vax tech could be finally taken to market under the fog of crisis (when it couldn’t even get through animal trials the entire decade preceding Covid due to safety concerns over LNPs and near-zero efficacy, etc.), I think RFK Jr really should address what his policies will be on mRNA and other biotechnology injectables as head of HHS bc since endorsing Trump he has been silent on this issue and VP Vance and many prominent Trump donors, like Musk, are deeply invested in medical genetically engineered products.
[Ha! JFK Jr sat and accepted the Big Mac among the gathered posse of the Orange Camacho Gang, didn’t he? A “confirmed anti-junk food” activist. Blueblood’s know where their bread’s buttered. All the rest’s dust in the eyes of eternal muppets]
⭕ 🔻 @JDVance: They’re attacking Pete Hegseth for having a Christian motto tattooed on his arm. This is disgusting anti-Christian bigotry from the AP, and the entire organization should be ashamed of itself.
    🔻 C2: It’s not a “Christian motto”

It’s a Papal Motto that was part of the crusades.
🔻 C3: The really telling thing about Hegseth’s tattoo, “Deus Vult” is that it was never in frequent use at any point in the history of Christianity prior to around 2012, the release date of the video game “Crusader Kings II”
    🔻 WS: a pueris regimur
🔻 C4: “Latin expression that could be interpreted as “we are governed or ruled by boys” or “we are under the control of youths”. This phrase is likely used to convey a sense of immaturity or lack of wisdom in those who govern or lead.”
🔻 WS: “We are ruled by children.”
⭕🔻 Armchair Warlord: They weren’t intimidated, they didn’t panic, they just engaged the thing with small arms and a handheld jammer until they took it down. |media|
🔻 WS: This is the embodiment of the term “battle hardened”.
🔻 C2: ‘Fuck yeah’ is ultimately appropriate here lol
‼️🤦‍♂️ I don’t understand how so many people in my mentions seem to be unaware of the fact that 100s of ATACMS and 100s of SS/SCALPs have already been used against Russia. Also 1000s of long-range drones.

The Russians adapted quickly to all of them, and now routinely defeat them.
🔻 C1: Your numbers – there are 3000 atacms in storage they were given 100
🔻 WS: You are misinformed. Ukraine received at least 300 ATACMS, and probably nearer 400. Storm Shadow / SCALPs delivered were almost certainly in excess off 500 combined.

Many ATACMS and SS/SCALPs were also destroyed on the ground.
⭕🔻 Kit Klarenberg: Must-read. Mass backtracking on Ukraine’s long-range strike ability has commenced spectacularly. Surprised by how many people who should’ve known better thought this was hugely significant and concrete all-out war escalation. It’s simply not going to happen. |story|
🔻 Armchair Warlord: And who called it as a nothingburger first?😏
🔻 WS: Probably someone neither of us follow. 😏

That said, I missed out on the story until yesterday afternoon, given that I was being a church-goer.

But when I first read the news, I mocked it
🔻 C3: More power to you being a church-goer, Will.
🔻 WS: Someone has to play the organ and teach Sunday School, and I like doing both.
⭕ 🔻 C1: Xi should receive the Nobel Peace Prize simply for having the patience to sit there while Keir genocide-supporter-and-proxy-war-enabler Starmer lectures him about human rights.
🔻 WS: For as stoned-faced as he usually seems, Xi can be exceedingly expressive with his body language, gestures, facial nuances, and even the way he sets his eyes and tilts his head. It’s fascinating to observe him closely. He conveys a lot of meaning without saying a word.
🔻 C2: Then how do you know? Here comes another keyboard warrior who knows everything.
    🔻 WS: I’m a seer.
    🔻 C3: and a pun wielder, too . . .

☝️calming music to accompany the screaming of Zion since last night..

    💠@ejmalrai:
Israel killed at least four people and wounded 28 in this strike.
[one of the interminable western aggressions on Beirut last night]
Hezbollah retaliating against #Israel’s bombing of #Beirut by bombing Tel Aviv NOW!

Sirens in over 100 areas in Tel Aviv.
⭕ Missiles and drones in Tel Aviv and Sirens in Haifa. Ben Gurion airport is closed.
[this was last night, about 15 hours ago]
Israel said it has failed to intercept 4 ballistic missiles over Tel Aviv and hit Bnei Barak and more.
Israel confirmed #Hezbollah fired 170 rockets and missiles today. The bad weather favours the resistance and disfavours the Israeli interception missile system.
What is crucial to emphasise here is the robust command and control structure within #Hezbollah’s leadership, which orchestrated the decision to direct strategic missile units to target Tel Aviv in retaliation for the bombing of #Beirut. This decision highlights the organisation’s ability to maintain discipline and execute strategic responses with precision, even under intense military pressure. It serves as a testament to the effectiveness of Hezbollah’s leadership hierarchy and operational mechanisms at all levels, demonstrating their capacity to coordinate actions seamlessly and assert their strategic objectives in a highly volatile and dangerous environment despite #Israel’s total air dominance.
⭕ Last night’s #Hezbollah attack on Tel Aviv was one of the most significant in this war.

    Why?

The British are heading the UNSC Presidency this month. They are behind the genocide in Sudan, along with vast hordes of mercs and various tribes organized and supported by the GCC (mostly UAE). Russia used its first veto for Sudan..

The hypocrisy is staggering. Whenever the hyenas cannot win a war, they resort to lawfare, UN sanctions, unilateral sanctions, organizing their neighbors against them, and/or economic siege. But all these “war by other means” tactics lose teeth in the bitter Interregnum.

⭕ 🇷🇺🇸🇩 Russia vetoes UK draft resolution on Sudan

On November 18, Russia used its veto power in the UN Security Council to thwart a British draft resolution on Sudan.

Sudanese diplomat to the UN Ammar Mahmoud said the Russian veto was the first on a draft resolution concerning Sudan. He stressed that resolving the current conflict requires full implementation of the Jeddah agreement and an end to what he called the UAE’s destabilizing support for the Rapid Reaction Force.

The British draft resolution, as Britain, which holds the presidency of the Security Council this month, wanted to show, called for “an immediate cessation of hostilities between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Reaction Force” and included “ensuring safe and unimpeded access for humanitarian aid, condemning crimes against civilians and calling on the parties to respect international humanitarian law.”

Dmitry Polyansky, explaining Russia’s vote against the project, stated that Russia agrees with all members of the Security Council on the need for an urgent resolution to the conflict in Sudan, and that the only solution to this problem is the agreement of the two warring parties to a ceasefire.

Polyansky added: “We believe that the role of the Security Council is to help (the two sides) achieve this, but this should be done in a consistent and open manner, and not by imposing on the Sudanese – through a Security Council resolution – the opinion of its individual members, imbued with a post-colonial tendency.

In turn, Sudanese media welcomed Russia’s decision to use its veto power, stating that “the draft resolution went beyond the country’s national priorities and did not even mention the UAE and its aggressive role in arming the Rapid Reaction Force.”

⭕ ‼️ 🤔 Just a thought for everyone dooming over the NATO threat to strike Russia using cruise missiles:

What launch platforms will be used?

    UKRAINE HAS NO AIR FORCE.

Only NATO bombers flown by NATO pilots can launch such strikes.

    Is that the plan? Seriously?
🔻 C1: Who knows at this point? I would have thought that this would be absurd a few years ago, but now? Just imagine China or Russia doing in Mexico what we have done in Ukraine since 2008.
🔻 WS: Things many appear to overlook:

    – It’s not 2008 anymore

    – It’s not even 2022

    – It’s the last days of 2024, and the Russians have developed into the most formidable military force in at least the western hemisphere

    – Russia, China, and Iran are allies.
📜 All for One and One for All
🔻 C2: You are not worried about this?
🔻 WS: The more I think about it, the more convinced I become that it is just a psyop.

The US/NATO lack the capability to launch any meaningful strikes “deep into Russia”. In terms of ATACMS, they don’t have anything even approaching an adequate stockpile, nor do they have more than just a mere handful of HIMARS/M-270 launchers in the theater of battle.

As for Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles, they don’t have airframes in Ukraine, and they would not even attempt to launch strikes from Poland or Romania using NATO aircraft.

If they launch long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, the Russians will rightly regard it as a nuclear first-strike, and will act accordingly, including counterstrikes against the launch platforms, and against NATO bases throughout Europe.

I think this is very likely a manufactured tempest in a teapot.
🔻 C3: I’m worried because they wouldn’t do it unless they were desperate.
🔻 WS: Desperate to snatch more defeat from the jaws of defeat?

Look … I have always allowed for the possibility that the #EmpireAtAllCosts cult fanatics might seize the reins at the Pentagon. I’ve simply assumed that doing so would catalyze a military coup d’etat.

    I could be wrong.
[How I wish he was right…]
🔻 C3: I think they’re desperate enough to do things I don’t want the algorithm to pick up. I absolutely agree with you, I think this is cover for something more nefarious. Like a hit on Kaliningrad using non Ukrainian aircraft, while insisting to the world they were Ukrainian. Put onus on Russia, etc. I could just need some smelling salts! Long day. I’m suspicious about everything they do Will.
🔻 C4: What happens if the UK and France also permit their missiles to be used? Greater range?
🔻 WS: They’ve launched HUNDREDS of Storm Shadow / SCALP cruise missiles over the past 18+ months. They have had negligible effect. Most have been shot down, especially over the past year.
🔻 C5: But its the principle

If there’s no response from Russia, you can bet your bottom $ that the US will clear the long-range Tomahawks to be used, likely from smuggled in Typhon systems

    The Empire is desperate
🔻 C6: they can rebrand their soldiers as mercenaries or instructors, so if they are crazy enough they can also rebrand any fighter planes as ukraine f-16.
🔻 WS: Let them try. It will be an unmitigated disaster for them.
🔻 C7: Most of the atacams and scalps and storm shadows have been fired at crimea the bridge or areas Russian forces are located. Firing into Moscow Petersburg or metropolitan areas is different. That’s definitely the plan zelenski said the Russian people need to feel the pain of the war
🔻 WS: Look at a map. Neither ATACMS nor SS/SCALP have sufficient range from their possible launch points.
🔻 C8: Poland’s been pushing for it for over two years now.
    🔻 WS: Pushing for WHAT?

HUNDREDS of Storm Shadow / SCALP / ATACMS have already been fired at Russian targets, with negligible effect.
🔻 C9: Yes, why not. Do NATO guys strike you as sensible and reasonable people?
🔻 WS: I don’t believe they are suicidal.
🔻 C10: ATACAMS are fired from HIMARS
🔻 WS: Do you think you’re revealing some sort of secret?

They’ve already launched HUNDREDS of ATACMS at Russian targets, at the maximum range. They achieved nothing meaningful. In the last year, 90%+ have been shot down or defeated via ECMs.
    🔻 C11: F16’s
    🔻 WS: F-16s? 🤣

If they have somehow conned a squadron of mid-life-crisis retired NATO pilots to fly F-16s over Ukraine, I hope the old guys were smart enough to take out a big life insurance policy in behalf of their relatives back home.
🔻 C12: North Korea was the ignitor
🔻 WS: I have no idea what this even means. DPRK troops fighting in Ukraine is 100% fabricated nonsense.
🔻 C13: ATACMS are ballistic missiles tho
🔻 WS: ATACMS are worthless against Russian AD, as has been abundantly proven. Plus, they don’t have much range.
🔻 C14: They could mate weapons on drones to attack long range targets. Crude but effective.
🔻 WS: Been there. Done that. It worked a few times at first. It hasn’t worked at all since last summer.

This is the thing about the Russians: they adapt and innovate VERY quickly in wartime.
🔻 C15: Couldn’t it be f16 squadrons operated not by former pilots but current out of Poland and Romania using the extended jassm missiles?
🔻 WS: ASSMs are old, slow, vulnerable to ECM, and unlike the Tomahawk, they fly high, which makes them easier to detect, track, and kill.

If a volley of JASSMs is fired at Russian targets, I predict most, if not all, get shot down.

JASSMs have been shot down in Syria.
⭕🔻 C1: NYT: Biden has approved Ukraine’s use of ATACMS long-range missiles for strikes within Russia.
🔻 C2: Hit them hard, and where it counts.

And, no, this is not going to lead to WW3 because, if given the choice between losing its captured territory in eastern Ukraine or its humiliation in a wider war (let alone the risk of destruction of its homeland in a nuclear holocaust), Russia will choose the former.

And, for crying out loud, let Russia keep Crimea as a consolation prize — it should never have been part of Ukraine to begin with.
🔻 WS: You are a clueless buffoon. They’ve launched HUNDREDS of ATACMS at Russian targets over the past year+. They had negligible effect; most were shot down or defeated via ECM. The intercept rate was well over 90% for most of 2024.

ATACMS are a joke compared to Iskander.
🔻 C3: What’s the point of this decision then? Looks like a foolish attempt to throw somebody under the bus.
🔻 WS: I think it’s nothing more than an ill-conceived psyop.
🔻 C4: Do you think it had Trumps approval and just a bullshit negotiation piece as we head into an environment where theres a deal to be made? Bringing the heat up before real negotiations?
🔻 WS: Retweet of his older comment:
If, by “cut a deal”, you mean he can agree to whatever terms the Russians dictate, then yes, Trump can “cut a deal to stop the war in Ukraine”.

Either way, the Russians will do what they damn well please. That’s what happens in the real world when you win a big war.
🔻 C5: ATACMS are NOT “long-range” missiles. 300km MAX. And they have proven to be less effective the further they attempt to reach out to their max range.

Frankly, I think this whole thing is nothing but a lame, desperate psyop. I doubt they have an appreciable quantity of them left.
🔻 C6: I was under the impression that the F 16 is a Wunderwaffe. Did I miss something?
🔻 WS: The F-16 will perform even worse than 58-year-old Mike Tyson did in the ring the other night.
    🔻 C7: shadow 500km.

They can reach Putin residency literally
🔻 WS: Map-reading is hard, and you obviously need a remedial course.
🔻 C7: stop embarassing yourself. You are good guy
🔻 WS: I’m not embarrassing myself. I’m simply cognizant of the potential launch locations (and distances). It is logically fallacious to measure from the Ukraine border
⭕ ‼️🤦‍♂️ I don’t understand how so many people in my mentions seem to be unaware of the fact that 100s of ATACMS and 100s of SS/SCALPs have already been used against Russia. Also 1000s of long-range drones.

The Russians adapted quickly to all of them, and now routinely defeat them.
[so I agree with him. If NATO uses current “instruments” as before, all this is a psyop, to get the OPTICAL appearance of hurting Russia, in order to get an internal FF — attributed to Russia or Iran —  for subsequent moves against the civilizational-states. If Russia is not able to be even hit conventionally, then an internal FF will do to justify what comes]
🔻 C1: It only takes 1 to hit the Kremlin, Moscow, to provoke a response that would enable NATO entry into the war, which is the goal of the globalist cabal.

Get Christians to slaughter each other in mass.
🔻 WS: So you think the empire is suicidal?

If they strike the Kremlin (for example), there would be no empire within an hour or less.
    🔻 C2: Soon -french mirage- with -AASM-250- !? 🤷🏻‍♀️
🔻 WS: It’s all impotent posturing, imo.
[Yeah. But. There are rituals – see the natives in New Zealand for example, that ostentatiously scream and flail about – to threaten and to work themselves up for normally unhinged action and charges]
🔻 C3: They were fired at Russian positions in Ukraine. Not Russia. Big difference.
🔻 WS: Crimea is Russia. Lugansk is Russia. Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye are Russia.

NATO weapons fired by NATO personnel have attacked Russia many times already.
🔻 C4: Is Alaska also Russia?

Just to keep us in panic mode?
🔻 WS: You should memorize this:

🔻 C6: What are some of the good books to read about geopolitics n war
🔻 WS: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

‘I don’t know what you mean by “glory”, Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. ‘Of course you don’t – till I tell you. I meant
    “there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!”
‘But “glory” doesn’t mean “a nice knock-down argument”, Alice objected.
“When I use a word, ‘ Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what
choose it to mean – neither more nor less.
“The question is, said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.
“The question is, said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master – that’s all.
🔻 C7: Yeah, but, if the west tries and gets away with it…even if zero damage is actually done…they will get bolder in the future. I don’t know the best way for Russia to respond. I’d suggest a a British ship having a terrible accident in the Black Sea (or maybe some other sea) might remind NATO of the consequences without igniting a nuclear exchange. But that’s just a guess.
⭕ 🔻 @nikstankovic_: Biden authorized use of US long range weapons inside Russia today. What does he care, he’s 81, will be out of office in 3 months and dead in a few years, let the world burn after him.

But I don’t think Putin will do much despite the rhetoric. Russia will take a few punches, will block the rest, and this whole thing will end up in the same place where the last 15 Wunderwaffe ended: nowhere.

NATO will continue to point out it prevented Russia from taking Ukraine in 3 days. Russia will continue to take Ukraine, a proxy for NATO, inch by inch, unstoppable.
🔻 WS: You could be right, Nik. I don’t rule out Russia continuing to restrain itself against escalating but effectively impotent provocations.

🔻 @BrianJBerletic: 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺US Gives Green Light for Launching US Missiles into Russia

    • Strikes would require US intelligence and targeting data as well as the possible use of US “contractors” to prepare missiles for fire, essentially US strikes on Russia;
    • Reuters claims the decision was made based on still yet-to-be verified claims of North Korean troops inside Russia, not Ukraine;
    • The US proxy war on Russia aims at causing maximum damage for Russia, not aiding Ukraine in victory – this decision was made knowing Ukraine will likely suffer the full brunt of Russian retaliation;
    • Russia reserves multiple means of escalating including eliminating all Ukrainian shipping in the Black Sea, the complete destruction of Ukraine’s power grid, as well as a greater mobilization of Russian manpower and industry – all politically easier in the wake of what are essentially US missile attacks on Russia;
    • Russia also has the means to indirectly escalate vs. US forces illegally occupying the Middle East;

🔻 @BrianJBerletic: Russia has threatened to respond to what it sees as Western strikes on Russia, however Russia is winning the war, these missiles have already been used and have failed to make any difference in the fighting, and will not change the course of the fighting by targeting Russian territory itself.

Russia will respond first and foremost in a manner that contributes to victory, and will manage escalation carefully to do so.
🔻 C1: This is scary. It is no longer a proxy war but a direct attack on Russia by the U.S. The dying Empire will stop at nothing to maintain hegemony given the Toilet Paper U.S. Dollar is going down the drain.

🔻Caitlin Johnstone: The New York Times reports that the Biden administration has authorized Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles to strike Russian and North Korean military targets inside Russia — yet another dangerous escalation of nuclear brinkmanship in this horrific proxy war.

The Times correctly notes that authorizing Ukraine to use ATACMS, which have a range of about 190 miles, has long been a contentious issue in the Biden administration for fear of provoking military retaliations against the US from Russia. This reckless escalation has been authorized despite an acknowledgement from the anonymous US officials who spoke to The New York Times that they “do not expect the shift to fundamentally alter the course of the war.”

As Antiwar’s Dave DeCamp notes, Vladimir Putin said back in September that if NATO allows Ukraine to use western-supplied weapons for long-range strikes inside Russian territory, it would mean NATO countries “are at war with Russia.” This is about as unambiguous a threat as you’ll ever see.

NYT reports that Biden’s policy shift “comes two months before President-elect Donald J. Trump takes office, having vowed to limit further support for Ukraine.” And it is here worth noting that last week it was reported by The Telegraph that British PM Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron had been scheming to thwart any attempt by Trump to scale back US support for Ukraine by pushing Biden to authorize long-range missile strikes in Russian territory.

But it is also true that the day before the US election Mike Waltz, Trump’s next national security advisor, had himself endorsed the idea of authorizing long-range missile strikes into Russia with the goal of pressuring Moscow to end the war. His plan for disentangling the US from the conflict entails ramping up sanctions on Russia and “taking the handcuffs off the long-range weapons we provide Ukraine” in order to pressure Putin into eagerly accepting a peace deal.

So while this is being framed as an administration that’s more hawkish on Russia executing a maneuver that’s designed to hamstring the peacemongering of an incoming administration that’s less favorable to assisting Ukraine, in reality it may just be goal-assisting the next administration in a policy change it had planned on implementing anyway.

Either way, it’s insane. Putin ordered changes to Russia’s nuclear doctrine in September in order to ward off these sorts of escalations by lowering the threshold at which nuclear weapons could be used to defend the Russian Federation, and they’re just barreling right past that bright red line like they barreled over the red lines which led to the invasion of Ukraine. And the fact that they’re adding yet another nuclear-armed state into the mix with North Korea is just more gravy for the nuclear brinkmanship pot roast.

At one point in 2022, US intelligence agencies reportedly assessed that the odds of Russia using a nuclear weapon in Ukraine was as high as fifty percent, but the Biden administration kept pushing forward with this proxy war anyway. These freaks are taking insane risks to advance agendas that stand to yield the slimmest of benefits even by their own assessments.

We are living in dark and dangerous times.

🔻 WS: Name me a meaningful strategic target you believe the US/NATO can strike in Russia using ATACMS, SCALP, or JASSM missiles.

“Biden’s actions seem to indicate confidence in the inevitable defeat that Ukraine and NATO countries will suffer, and thus he wants, in the months remaining before the inauguration of Donald Trump, to ensure that Russia somehow responds to this provocation, which would increase the risk of escalation,” PhD in Politics Jorge Elbaum noted.

He added that Biden’s decision will lead to him going down in history not only as a “disgustingly decrepit president,” but also as one who put the entire world in an endlessly dangerous situation.

At the same time, Mexican international relations expert David Garcia Contreras believes that the move likely taken by Biden was a “last desperate attempt to strengthen Ukraine’s position.”

On Sunday, US President Joe Biden reportedly authorized Ukraine to strike deep into Russia with American missiles ATACMS, especially in Russia’s Kursk region. In September, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that allowing Kiev to use its Western long-range missiles on Russia would mean NATO’s direct participation in a war against the Russian Federation.

The Russian will really inherit. Look!

When taking a long overdue call from an abject honorless satanic enemy, Putin pleads to save the German people from certain death this winter, and the ones to come.

Most Germans are elderly, living on ever-decreasing savings and dole given inflation and cost-of-living crisis for years. Many WILL die, being unable to even afford the firewood, even if had the place to burn it. I recall reading last winter that their firewood was usually sourced from Poland and others, which become blocked as the locals themselves need it now.

But the compradore scum nazi blithely uses the entire German populace as hostages, in an already meaningless telephone call that was a virtue signal, to try to wiggle outta now certain defeat. Unbelievable. A noose or guillotine is too fine for the supranational zionazis. They openly condemn their own as bargaining chips……

Incidentally the zionazis play the same game in the Holy Land. As with Russians, they know the Islamic Resistance has no interest in targeting civilians, per their morals and scriptures. So they deliberately aim for civilians in Greater Syria, then hunker among zionazi civilians for human shielding.

A terrible predicament stares at all the civilizational-states. The Last Satanic Empire, overtly interested in “depopulation” of 90% of all, targets their civilians as frank policy. And the beast doesn’t hesitate to sacrifice the western multitudes nominally under their control, considered equally “useless eaters.”

“The protocol [a memorandum of understanding between the Malian government and the miner] also provides that all outstanding claims by the government against the company, including those related to tax, customs levies, maintenance and management of offshore accounts are settled,” Resolute Mining said in a statement.

Resolute has made an initial settlement payment of approximately $80 million to Mali’s government from existing cash reserves, with future payments of approximately $80 million to be made in the coming months, according to the statement.

➡️ The move follows more than a week of detention in Mali of the company’s CEO, Terence Holohan, and two of the company’s employees, who were in the capital, Bamako, for discussions with the country’s mining and tax authorities about Resolute’s operations in the country and to pursue unfounded tax claims against the company, the miner noted in a statement last Monday.

An Australian mining company, Resolute Mining, says it will pay Mali’s military government $160m (£126m) to settle a tax dispute, after the company’s British boss and two other staff were detained 10 days ago.

Reports say Terry Holohan and his colleagues were arrested while travelling to the capital city, Bamako, for what they were expecting to be routine negotiations.

Resolute, which owns a gold mine in Mali, said on Sunday it would pay $80m immediately from existing cash reserves, and the rest in the coming months.

Mali is one of Africa’s top gold producers and is seeking to extract a greater share of income from foreign operators in the sector.

It is not yet clear when the three Resolute employees will be released but part of the conditions for their release were that they must sign the memorandum of understanding and complete the initial payment, according to media reports.

Mali detained the three Resolute executives on charges of forgery and damaging public property, seen as an attempt to force the Australian company amid an ongoing state crackdown on foreign – mostly Western – mining companies in the West African country.

Last year, President Col Assimi Goïta signed into law a new mining code increasing the maximum stake for state and local investors from 20% to 35%.

Israel doesn’t want and can’t end the war in #Gaza and #Lebanon. Keep your analysis away from the “ceasefire negotiations”.
⭕ When Israel hits empty buildings in the suburb of #Beirut or around it, it sends a 20-minute warning, pretending it has morals.

When targeting assassinating any person, regardless of his position or importance, it destroys the building and kills many civilians with the target.
⭕ Many analysts argue that #Israel is “negotiating a ceasefire under fire.”

I can’t entirely agree with this theory. The resistance operates with a mindset where every individual is, in a sense, expendable, and no single figure wields decisive influence over whether a ceasefire is accepted or not.

Decisions are driven by broader strategic objectives rather than the fate of specific individuals or isolated events.

#Israel has already devastated much of the property belonging to Lebanese Shiites, leaving the resistance with little to lose. In this context, the resistance’s calculations are less constrained by material losses.

Moreover, if Israel were to escalate by targeting displaced Shiite civilians, the consequences for Israeli civilians in Haifa and other cities would be severe. Hezbollah’s arsenal of drones and rockets, capable of evading Israel’s missile interception systems, serves as a potent deterrent, indirectly offering a measure of protection to Lebanese civilians.

Ultimately, the trajectory of the ceasefire will not hinge on diplomatic theories or speculative analyses but rather on the outcomes achieved on the battlefield. The resistance’s ability to sustain pressure and impose costs on Israel will likely be the determining factor in shaping any potential agreement.
⭕ Hezbollah is unlikely to reject or endorse the ceasefire proposal explicitly. Instead, it is expected to emphasise the positive points while seeking clarifications on the many ambiguous suggestions outlined in the draft. It is important to note that this is merely a proposal, not a binding agreement, leaving significant room for negotiation and interpretation.

Meanwhile, the current US administration appears to have limited leverage over Prime Minister @Netanyahu, who shows little inclination to offer a ceasefire deal that would align with the Biden administration’s objectives.
Netanyahu’s reluctance stems from domestic political considerations and a strategic calculation that prolonging the conflict serves his broader personal goals.

This lack of alignment between US influence and Israeli priorities complicates any prospects for a swift ceasefire to the ongoing invasion of #Lebanon.

In Netanyahu’s, Israel is uninterested and will continue its massacre of the Palestinians and forcefully displace inhabitants of the north.

    💠@Middle East Spectator:
⭕ — 🇷🇺/🇺🇸/🇺🇦 NOTE: The decision by the U.S. allowing Ukraine to use US-manufactured long-range missiles to strike deep inside Russia could take this conflict to a different level.

This year, Russia updated its nuclear doctrine, and one of the points mentioned in the updated version was the following:

‘Any aggression against Russia by a non-nuclear state, but with the support or participation of a nuclear-armed country, will be considered a joint attack. It is clear to everyone which countries we are talking about. Under certain conditions, a massive launch of enemy air power, including airplanes, missiles, and UAVs, resulting in a violation of our border, may be justification for the use of nuclear weapons.’

By all accounts they did meet.
Soleimani flew to Russia and reportedly convinced Russia to enter the Syrian world war.. this occurred after the wave of “arab spring” in 2011, and rise of ISIS openly being supported by US Air Force and ISR and logistics and nearly capturing Damascus.
    It was very close.
It also came after the 2014 Maidan in Kiev.
The gameplan to dismantle Russia was clear at that point, and to use the salafi hordes a third time in the Caucausus as well.

It was a no-brainer really – the locals did not lack for ground forces (Hezbollah, afghans, Iraqis, Iranians, and many other joined too) but needed air cover, both against the anticipated western vindictiveness when their proxies failed, and to bomb deep concrete underground cities. The French Lafarge company (iirc Hillary was on their board too) may have laid more concrete than in WW2 combined (!) This was beyond the means of Syrians or Iran to flush out these ratholes..

Russian air force (1) helped deny any safety to extremist proxies outside of those hunkered among human shields, and (2) held off the US Navy/Air Force from savaging from a standoff distance, thus (3) helping the local Resistance reconquer most of Syria.

And without this step, today the stands of both Hezbollah and Hamas would be untenable. The road from Iraq and Iran to the East Med remains open, thanks to these tremendous sacrifices in Syria since 2013….

Syria remains the linchpin. Note the bombing of Damascus resumed, and will not let up. The bribing and hysterical threats resumed too. Syria is the rock in the road for the Moshiach to erect Greater Israel, and to isolate Hezbollah and Hamas…. But it shall hold. The Islamic Prophet prophesied great things for both Syria and Yemen. ⭕ 🇷🇺🇺🇦Official from the Russian Ministry of Defense about a massive attack this morning

In the morning, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike with long-range precision weapons against critical energy infrastructure facilities that ensure the operation of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and enterprises that produce military products.

    All planned targets were hit.
⭕ 🇷🇺🇺🇦Ukraine has shut down seven of its nine operating nuclear reactors after a massive overnight attack by Russian missiles and drones, Bloomberg reports, citing the IAEA.

IAEA staff working at plants in Ukraine said that only two of the nine reactors were generating electricity at full capacity on Sunday.

According to a statement from the UN nuclear watchdog, power generation at other units was reduced to 40-90% of capacity, the newspaper writes.

“The country’s energy infrastructure is extremely vulnerable, which directly impacts nuclear safety,” IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.

He added that inspectors are assessing the full extent of the damage.

An IAEA team based at the Khmelnytskyi NPP reported hearing a loud explosion, while others at the Rivne site reported that high-voltage power lines were unavailable. Both sites are in western Ukraine.

Ukraine has warned that airstrikes on critical power substations could trigger an emergency at one of its three operating nuclear power plants.

Recall that Russia launched about 120 missiles and 90 drones at Ukraine today.

🔻 C1: On the bright side, it would be reasonable for the Iranians to target the Dimona nuclear facilities in retaliation, wouldn’t it?

🔻 Armchair Warlord: The sleeper story of this phase of the Ukrainian War has been Russia’s ability to just keep a dozen or so Gerans buzzing around Ukraine’s airspace on a more-or-less constant basis.

And there was a critical admission last week that the vast majority of them hit targets.⬇️

Russia flies off so many Gerans, so often, that it’s not even a news item anymore. Hardly anyone even pays attention at this point and meanwhile they’re hitting a thousand aimpoints a month in Ukraine’s rear areas for about the cost of a midsize car each.

You want to talk about game-changers in 21st century war? Let’s talk about democratized air campaigns with zero risk to pilots and expensive airframes, that can scale at the rate of manufacturing. The Russians adopted these things – the only foreign weapon they’ve taken on board in meaningful quantities, by the way – for a very, very good reason.
[and that is the same pattern we observe in the other theatre in the Holy Land. Drones buzz nonstop — filming, terrorizing, attacking, and keeping air defenses, choppers and flying coffins busy as bees]
🔻 C1: Are these anything more than a large model plane with a warhead on the nose? Do they even put off enough of any signature for a missile lock?
🔻 Armchair Warlord: (1) pretty much
    (2) yeah you can shoot them down
🔻 C2: Do you have any explanation why these drones are not being used by the Lebanese?
🔻 Armchair Warlord: They’re quite large, Hezbollah can’t deploy them in any quantity.
🔻 C3: that is an excellent point Warlord the performance-to-price ratio is very high in contrast to Western drones
🔻 C4: The Geran-2 has a 100lb warhead and a 2000km range, it costs about $80k. The closest thing NATO has in any number is the Switchblade, which costs $100k with a 40mm warhead and a range of 10km-20km/15min flight time.
🔻 C5: Based on this, Rus must have a detailed understanding of Ukr air defense capability.

Rus will have an ongoing target list, high value on down. Obviously we can’t know but how many high value targets have been partially or fully neutralized would tell us A LOT about the war
🔻 C6: Russia are very fast and adaptive to 21st century modern warfare

in the past country build aircraft carrier as deterrence and massive collection of jets. and they expensive to buy and expensive to maintain

today? Hypersonic and drone, cheap, effective less human casualties
🔻 C7: Game changers, indeed. The combination of cheap Geran drone fleets and improved real time geospatial intel has not only allowed Russia to strike with incredible precision, it has render last gen air defense (e.g. IDF Iron Dome) obsolete. Far-reaching consequences already.

🔻Arnaud Bertrand: Pretty interesting comments on Elon Musk and Tesla’s battery efforts by Robin Zeng, the founder of China’s CATL (the world’s largest battery company by far, and Tesla’s foremost battery supplier):

He speaks with Musk often and said he told him directly that his bet on a cylindrical battery, known as the 4680, “is going to fail and never be successful.”

“We had a very big debate, and I showed him,” Zeng said. “He was silent. He doesn’t know how to make a battery. It’s about electrochemistry. He’s good for the chips, the software, the hardware, the mechanical things.”

Zeng said he had also asked Musk about setting unrealistic timelines for the rollout of new vehicles or technologies at Tesla. He said Musk had told him that he wanted to motivate and focus Tesla staffers and that anything beyond a two-year time frame might as well be “infinity.”

“His problem is overpromising. I talked to him. Maybe something needs five years. But he says two years. I definitely asked him why. He told me he wanted to push people.”

    💠 @Dmitry_Medvedev:
⭕ A few more words about why the US is happily investing in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. And it’s not just about the military-industrial complex.

If we do not take into account the billions for the military complex, then this is how everything looks over the past year: from July 2023 to June 2024, the volume of goods supplied from the US to the EU increased by $93 billion (+34% compared to the 2021 level) and reached $367 billion.

In figures for this year, oil supplies from the US to Europe have doubled (+101%, i.e. 37.3 million tons more). Liquefied natural gas – by 18.5 million tons (+181%). Fertilizers – from practically zero to 666 (!) thousand tons. And so on for many export items.

The profit is convincing. After all, Europe has nowhere to go in the conditions of a shortage of raw materials, which was provoked by anti-Russian sanctions.

And as a bonus, the Yankees received an exclusive “business” offer from the expired clown. I already wrote about this, speaking about the interest of the American elite in the returned Russian territories, especially the territories of Donbass. After all, the reserves of mineral raw materials in them are many times greater than everything that remained in the former Ukraine. That is why today the drug addict is trying to maintain the interest of Americans in the war by trading access to natural resources. In general, nothing personal, just 💵.

P.S. By the way, during his first coming, Trump actively advocated for the replacement of Russian gas in Europe with American LNG. The end of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict could undermine the position of American liquefied gas in the Old World (one of our conditions is the lifting of sanctions). What will be more important: election promises or money? The question is rhetorical…

PPS Well, the material results of American investments on the territory of the former Ukraine in the context of the ongoing conflict with Russia will meet the fate of those infrastructure facilities that were subjected to a massive Russian attack this morning.
[Dimi seems to agree the incoming Orange Camacho Gang is full of BS. “Will stop all wars” LOL. That’s kool-aid for the lemmings]
