🔹The highest intensity of warfare on the Lebanese front since the beginning of the war. ⚡Dirar Isa al-Shishani. This is the name of a Chechen, a police major from Jordan, which is well known and remembered in Israel by participants in the events of the first intifada [1987 – 1993]. In those years, the Palestinian uprising broke out for the same reasons as now – in connection with Israel’s military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. According to official data alone, over ten thousand Palestinians were mercilessly killed and wounded.

What is known about the Hamas underground city in the Gaza Strip: analysis of the Military Chronicle

“The underground city is built on several underground levels, and there are passages and communications that are difficult to destroy not only with precision weapons but also with specialized ammunition.

When did they start building the underground city?
According to some reports, the underground city began to be actively built deeper after the Lebanese war of 2006. Presumably, Hamas then realized that there could be no prolonged hostilities in an open confrontation with the IDF. Simultaneously with the construction of underground premises, tunnels appeared, leading both outside the Gaza Strip and to different parts of the Palestinian enclave.

What is known about it?
The underground premises are divided into several levels. The first underground floor can be reached, presumably, through one of 50 exits in different parts of the Gaza Strip – from Rafah in the south to Beit Hanoun in the north. Mostly, exits to the surface are made in residential and office buildings. Hamas’ “mosquito logistics” takes place on the first underground floor. Some tunnels are 6-8 m wide, and an ordinary pickup truck can easily drive through or unload there. On the second level, presumably, there are “military factories.” These facilities are equipped with CNC machines and allow Palestinians to produce Qassam rockets and homemade grenade launchers. On the third underground floor, there are situation centers and conference rooms for Hamas. The location at a depth of 35-40 m and several layers of reinforced concrete reliably protect these premises from being hit by both JDAM guided bombs and specialized bunker-busting munitions, which Israel actively uses for airstrikes.”

But I can not blame them solely, if the U.N, Egypt, Red Crescent, had any courage regarding this situation, they would have sent the aid across anyway – sure, Rafah is not an optimal one for trucks, the second crossing is actually controlled by Israel, Hamas, EU and Egypt as per a 2017 agreement, and this crossing is the most efficient regarding the transportation of goods. I am extremely disappointed in this, and words simply can not describe it.

⚡‘The Islamic Resistance in Iraq’ : Since two days ago, we have seen U.S. military bases in Iraq come under rocket and drone attack. These attacks have been claimed by an unknown entity identifying itself as the ‘Islamic Resistance in Iraq’. Until two days ago, no one had really heard of this group, which reportedly first emerged after the assassination of General Soleimani. The name is very generic, and could possibly refer to any of the dozens of resistance factions operating inside Iraq today. But whoever they are, they have been dormant for several years.

What is clear, however, is that this group re-emerged after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, and seems to be a direct response to U.S. involvement and support for the war on behalf of Israel. The most logical and obvious scenario is that various Iranian-backed Shiite militias in Iraq have united under a joint command structure, or have at least agreed to issue joint statements as a united front, even if the attacks may have been carried out by different militias. It is very likely that a number of Shiite resistance factions that are ideologically close to Iran, such as Asa’ib Ahl al-Haqq, Kata’ib Hezbollah, Harakat al-Nujaba and others, have decided to publish joint statements to appear as a united front, calling themselves the ‘Islamic Resistance in Iraq’.

Most of these factions still operate independently, but they coordinate with each other and are mutually connected by their dependence on Iran and the IRGC’s Quds Force. To summarise, I think that a handful of Shiite militias in Iraq, specifically the ones that are most loyal to Iran, have united at least to the extent of publishing joint statements under the name ‘Islamic Resistance in Iraq’. This sends a symbolic message to the United States, while at the same time being a huge step in the unification of pro-Iranian factions in Iraq.

Hezbollah’s activity and the IDF’s readiness for a ground operation: How the situation in Israel changed by October 21
Judging by the current events, the conflict is not subsiding, and the warring parties continue to prepare for the worst outcome of events.

How does Hamas operate?
The Palestinian group is gradually moving away from the tactics of fire raids on targets deep inside Israel in favor of sabotage warfare. To a large extent, loitering ammunition and quadcopters with drops are used against Israeli Merkava Mk.4 tanks and Namer armored personnel carriers concentrated near the Gaza Strip. The IDF cannot yet counteract this tactic with anything: some armored vehicles are urgently equipped with special visors, the design of which is similar to the visors used in the air defense system, but full-fledged serial use of electronic warfare has not yet been observed. At the same time, Hamas rocket attacks are concentrated on cities in central Israel – Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Jerusalem and Ashdod. The long-range weapons that Military Chronicle talked about earlier are not used.

How does the IDF operate?
After a short pause following an explosion in the parking lot of Al-Ahly Baptist Hospital, Israeli aircraft resumed airstrikes. The fact that the population is allegedly leaving Gaza is an Israeli lie. Most remained in their homes. People don’t leave even under the threat of death. At the same time, phones are constantly receiving threatening messages from Israeli numbers. You may also receive a notification that “your house will be bombed” so that people feel in danger every minute.

We know that Russia opposes the West and does not support Israeli crimes. In Gaza they love Russia and the Russian people very much. What is taking place in the Holy Land is an unmitigated tragedy. It will bury the West for the next millennium, if not permanently, so so sad…
