ParticipantAn essay> Otto von Bismarck: ‘The secret of politics? Make a good treaty with Russia.’ — The Socratic Method
(Geewhiz yatink that BSW and AFD don’t know this ? )
excerpt> “When we ponder the philosophical concept of existential diplomacy, we invite an unconventional perspective into the discussion. Existentialism, a school of thought that emerged in the 20th century, explores the individual’s subjective existence and responsibility in an uncertain world. Applying this concept to diplomacy challenges the notion that politics is solely driven by tangible gains. Instead, it posits that political decisions should be rooted in an understanding of the human experience and an acknowledgment of the inherent uncertainties of existence. In light of existential diplomacy, Bismarck’s quote takes on a more profound meaning. ”

BlockedA generator of the mass psychosis illusions, and much of the “stress, propaganda by experts, and dope” — are self-inflicted via ubiquitous smartphones… Most are now so hooked, I have the image of the lab rat hitting the stimulant button until it expires from starvation and sheer exhaustion..
And we knew of these harms several GENERATIONS ago. The effects of neglect and letting TVs raise the “latchkey children” started the process, now drowning under effects of fast internet and constant clicks. 30+ years ago, they taught in med school to teach parents to observe a MAXIMUM of one hour per day of “total screen time” – to avoid damage to young growing impressionable minds.

Participant“We” is a dystopian novel by Russian writer Yevgeny Zamyatin that was written in 1920–1921.
The novel describes a world of harmony and conformity within a united totalitarian state that is rebelled against by the protagonist, D-503 (Russian: Д-503). It influenced the emergence of dystopia as a literary genre. George Orwell said that Aldous Huxley’s 1931 Brave New World must be partly derived from We,[2] although Huxley denied this. Orwell’s own Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949) and Animal Farm was also inspired by We.[3] Fahrenheit 451 was also inspired by “We”.It’s an excellent novel and a must-read.

ParticipantFrom book cover, “Conjuring Hitler”
(my bolds)
“Nazism is usually depicted as the outcome of political blunders and unique economic factors: we are told that it could not be prevented, and that it will never be repeated. In this explosive book, Guido Giacomo Preparata shows that the truth is very different: using meticulous economic analysis, he demonstrates that Hitler’s extraordinary rise to power was in fact facilitated — and eventually financed — by the British and American political classes during the decade following World War I. Through a close analysis of events in the Third Reich, Preparata unveils a startling history of Anglo-American geopolitical interests in the early twentieth century. He explains that Britain, still clinging to its empire, was terrified of an alliance forming between Germany and Russia. He shows how the UK, through the Bank of England, came to exercise control over Weimar Germany and how Anglo-American financial support for Hitler enabled the Nazis to seize power. This controversial study shows that Nazism was not regarded as an aberration: for the British and American establishment of the time, it was regarded as a convenient way of destabilising Europe and driving Germany into conflict with Stalinist Russia, thus preventing the formation of any rival continental power block.”–Book cover
Quiz question, what similarities do we see today?
For myself, well, I notice that when Countries are destabilized their gold disappears, this would include the gold from the vaults under the WTC…. 😉
I assume that said gold re-appears deep under the bloody soils of City of London.

ParticipantIt’s perhaps key to the man Fullbright to begin with some biography, and bear in mind the Jim Crow society of his origins. We can say that both Lavrov and Fullbright are/were intellectuals….but their worldviews and, if you will accept the term, breeding, have essentially nothing in common.
It seems to me that Fullbright was “opposition” only in the sense of cunningly subtle method, not grand policy…and not in terms of morality.
These are preliminary remarks. The questions are fascinating. One may speculate bearing in mind the near constant usage from Russia of racial terms for what is sometimes called “the west’. Nowadays the Russians speak of “the anglo-saxons”… Perhaps they have a point… 😉

It’s about Indiana University Professor David Honig’s interpretation of Distributive bargaining (win-lose) versus Integrative bargaining (win-win). How Trump and the US think and act versus how the Global South thinks and acts.
From a professional negotiation point of view, Trump isn’t even bringing checkers to a chess match. He’s bringing a quarter that he insists of flipping for heads or tails, while everybody else is studying the chess board to decide whether its better to open with Najdorf or Grünfeld.

ParticipantKrainer – I’m only 15 minutes in so far, but in those first 15 mins he gives his take on Trump’s land grab announcement with Netanyahu. I agree with his take on body language and who was the alpha male by the way, I call Trump way above Bibi on that one, although Trump seemed more deliberate than usual – the grins from Bibi were juvenile at best, and I surmise along with Krainer that Bibi and the AIPAC lobby were being fed candy by Trump.
By the way, I never saw that picture of holding Bibi’s chair as a lord and master thing…I see it as a business host who is in charge but aware that his guest is in pain and recovering from serious surgery and could well miss that chair!
Anyway, always good to get Krainer’s sane and logical reasoning. And it’s useful that, unlike many commentators who specialize in global geopolitics, Krainer does very much understand also how surgically Trump’s team is restoring the rule of law inside the US, the very thing that Trump was elected for, by an electorate largely uncaring about world affairs, but tightly focused on the domestic situation. So Krainer can weigh and balance those two realms, of the global and the domestic – I appreciate that sleight of hand from Trump that he speaks of, I postulate that also.

ParticipantI’m interrupting the Krainer interview again to share an important concept that he reminds me of. Around minute 27:00, Nima starts talking about the new era of Chinese tech dominance and Krainer speaks of the sheer cost of the globalist control the US has spent trillions on, and also how the entrenched oligarchy and bureaucracy – and corruption fueled by entities such as USAID – has stifled innovation in the US.
This last point is an important concept that was addressed this morning in one of his best essays ever by Jeff Childers at the Coffee & Covid substack. He devoted his whole column to his thesis, reinforced with plenty of collateral, including from prior commentators who have also been putting this thesis together – namely, that the US has been stuck in a cultural and development rut for all of this century. The culture feeds on its old creations, and nothing new is being produced, and this is the result of the rot and corruption that has taken hold to such a degree now that, from sheer fear of unrest and challenge, it forbids innovation.
Childers is an excellent writer and his coherent essay is very readable. I recommend it highly:

ParticipantFor what it’s worth, I too think Trump doesn’t like Netanyahu. Since we’re all reading body language in this matter, my immediate impression was that Trump didn’t want Bibi present, viewing him as a distraction from the very real changes that Trump is focused on domestically in the US, but also representing a major political force domestically that had to be appeased.
I saw Trump’s face as that of a man who was not among friends and having fun, but who was conducting business that had to be conducted. The New York real estate developer had dealt with unsavory people before, many times, and here it was again.
Had he been Japanese, his eyes would have been slitted during that public episode, and his mind would not have been on display.
my 2 cents.

pepe has dined with those tracking where the money funding both dumpster & nutty originates & while alex may not enjoy such electric evenings, he charts the money flow & has for many years. my hesitancy is essentially simple; in games as treacherously crucial as the zionist entity (whether deserved or foolish aside) is to empire, i doubt atmospherics are left to personal whim or chance. atmospherics are its oreshnik, subliminal messaging has for decades laid waste to intellectual discretion & by way of atmospherics empire has telepathically programmed entire populations what they believe or disbelieve.

BlockedThis was during the period Britannia was openly melding with USA (Rhodes) and preparing to obliterate Germania back into squabbling little kingdoms (WW1). Several historians proved the plans for the annihilation of Germany were advanced at least a quarter century before 1914, being deemed intolerable to maintenance of Empire, both in trade and on the high seas (navy).
The naive insecure and over-his-head little Kaiser, who fawned over his Anglo-Saxon cousins, must have provided a ready ear to whispering royal Iagos, delighted to advance implosion through misrule by sidelining the Iron Chancellor. And Germany never again since 1890 became a viable threat to the Anglo-Saxons, sinking into deeper and deeper levels of remote subjugation and depravity

empire managed that in vietnam & afghanistan, but 404 will be harder. russia winning is not easily erased. even if they don’t flaunt it, wealth, prestige, power & rank cannot be wholly camouflaged as make believe.
africa appears to be empire’s last card. africa—so big it defies occupation, yet, its magnetic incomprehensible wealth ignites in a colonial such pleonexia to match the continent’s staggering inexhaustible wealth. africa’s divine abundance is a draw for every colonial overlord facing bankruptcy, mitigating 3rd world destitution with dreams larger than the old new world’s puny in comparison gold rush.
the horror & war in the DRC, plagues of headchoppers in the sahel, propaganda & slander to undermine south africa, sudan, somalia torn apart, all are evidence, WW3 has taken hold.

In New York, and in much of “liberal society” such “deals” are between parties of unequal power. This method creates the arena of latent conflict. Hard feelings. It’s also a school of art which results in the artist becoming self-deceived, making false assumptions as to his own character and ability. When the artist inevitably enters the realm of those with equal or superior power, his options lie between surrender, flight, and violence. Since he cannot compass surrender or run away, the failure of his methods leads to violence. Obviously this process leads to the end of the artist. So it is written by the Fates.

In happy news> Those subtle Asiatic fellows decided to stop selling to some customers nitrated cellulose. Very funny!
Noting that nitric acid, and ammonia are made with air and natural gas in a process called Haber-Bosch . Before that it was made from guano, Haber-Bosch cycle and the refinements of it are essential. Cotton, cellulose, quality is important in producing the explosive propellant called “gunpowder” both kinds, both “black powder” and nitrocellulose. These are the “food” for the gods of war, artillery, and pretty much everything that goes bang. There’s a wiki on ammonia, thorough. And another on nitrocellulose> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrocellulose
wiki again on the production of nitric acid> “Once the Haber process for the efficient production of ammonia was introduced in 1913, nitric acid production from ammonia using the Ostwald process overtook production from the Birkeland–Eyde process. This method of production is still in use today.”
00:00 Introduction 01:10 China has disrupted the supply of raw materials to Europe for the production of gunpowder 03:01 Nitrocellulose is a vital ingredient of armaments 05:03 Chinese cotton comes from Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the country 08:01 Russia has doubled its purchases nitrocellulose

ParticipantThere’s a charming story, a rumor…claiming that any “deal” between Russia and the US must include surrendering (aka “extraditing”) Fauci. It’s probably just rumor, but the general idea that the US will be forced to give up the nazi criminals seems to be in the zeitgeist. Noting that giving up persons to an enemy state for legal process is in the shape of a surrender following defeat. Recalling that Russian legal teams have made no secret of their detailed investigations… 😉

ParticipantLike much of zone west “liberal” insanity, Harley has become a T shirt company masquerading as a motorcycle manufacturer. I assure you the post Evolution (that’s an engine series) bikes are over-priced krap… anyway Orange speaks: “phuckyew Harley”.
BTW it is cheaper to buy all the parts from aftermarket manufacturers (like S&S) and assemble a new bike with very high quality and reliability. Still spendy, but far superior.
