Dear emerson, I deeply apologize for causing you anguish re: Imran Khan (IK). That was not my intent at all! I tend to get ahead of myself and sometimes apply broad brush strokes. I shouldn’t have spouted off based on circumstantial evidence, other’s words (trustworthy though they were), and my gut. Those bursting with emotion after taking their daily cues from western MSM and wont to ride the memes du jour do not concern me in the slightest, but for your sake and Amarynth’s I should have been strict and provided prior evidence given the pervasiveness, potency and duration of what I’ve now learned is the British psyop “Project IK.”

I’ve been busy since yesterday receiving & compiling alotta data. Don’t be disheartened when you read this! Sifting through this sordid tsunami of data, I just now realize myself that ejecting IK was not only prudent but vital to Pakistan’s future. Responsible men appear on the job, to save their nation from hegemonic torching. Russia and China support them, with gentle indirect nudging, that is my conclusion.

I called my friend/mentor, a 70 yo full professor of community medicine + PhD in statistics, who lived 50+ years in Pakistan. I’ve found him of unimpeachable character. He considers it sinful to lie or slander, and considers those who do so in Islam to be beyond the pale, wolves among sheep. He is an advocate of the underdog, volunteering to help underserved Pakistanis. His wife is Pashtun, of same tribe as IK. So a relative of IK according to their culture. He chose his words carefully and after deliberation of years.

I asked him to provide me written evidence. Pl find below what he told or wrote me (italics inside quotations are his written words) and the links he sent me on the fly. btw, this IK, also ~ 70 yo, is a well-known entity in Pakistan among the mature adult population. Keep that in mind, because we external to their environment are shaped by western MSM and invariably helpless objects of hearsay, omission, etc. Additionally, the most incisive commentary is in Urdu, foreign to us.

First, stripped of verbiage, here were my key assertions yesterday:

      1. IK is an elite scion (Oxford, UK 1975) who hasn’t changed spots; far from an angel (I am admittedly biased and extremely distrustful of ALL elites – having had close viewing of our own disastrous lot in Africa; exceptions have taken place, as noted with Fidel). And a likely agent, given prior lifestyle & Anglo affiliations
      2. He dug a hole for Pak via IMF and int orgs
      3. He incited riots last week and harmed general peace (even if injustice done against him by opposing elites – does it justify torching the nation??)
      4. He appears to remote control a mob making a nuclear country ungovernable
      5. Russia/China did not belabor his ouster. They have evidence we do not. They continued working with Pak; Russia just sold them oil & CPEC of BRI is on track

Here were comments by my contact.

      A. CHARACTER:
      1. The West supports him
      a) go to google or Youtube and type his name. How many negative stories do you see? Do same for Putin or Erdogan or XJP. Contrast? This is a story in itself, like the dog which did not bark at night. When have you heard of the West supporting “Muslim righteous sufis who benefit their own people??” Ridiculous
      b) he is a western agent. I asked whether he had direct proof he was a western agent. The Prof wrote that by his fruits we know him. “Have you read about Lawrence of Arabia ? Can any one give explicit proof until he is not in government?” i.e. there is plausible deniability for now. Perhaps as with Philby and others, archives will tell us in future…
      (c) he is a media construct. Look at the size of his wiki page!! And photos & venues therein. The Prof noted he has come to intimidate other Pakistani politicians & even semi-Junta running the country. He has significant media presence, enhanced by social media and western tools. They can be turned against his opponents with ease, in addition to have their homes torched, as was done in last week.

      2. Facility with lying
      a) in his own words:

      b) sold expensive gifts presented as Head of State, perjured himself, skipped court hearings (!)

      3. Cheated in cricket (no proof provided, except to say he publicly admitted in past of queering the ball with the rough metal cap of a bottle hidden in his pants [AHH: how? to what end? I have no idea nor understanding of cricket]

      4. Engaged in religious impropriety (practices at variance and which caused wide outrage in Pakistan) I do not know Urdu.. maybe Sudhi can translate??

Prof: “You can clearly see that IK is prostrating at shrine. The religious scholars equated it to Shirk [blasphemy] and asked IK to do Istaghfar [seek forgiveness for sinful act]. This religious scholar likes IK but condemn this act of prostration”
This reminded me of the Dalai Lama pretending piety. A person forced to fake it under pressure and forgetting the proper expressions and ways, lol!

      5. Demonstrated lack of self-respect or propriety appropriate to position. He personally drove the visiting GCC princes like a chauffeur from the airport! What is this?? here (01)  and also here (02)  He was laughing stock in the GCC, increasing their contempt for Pakistanis.

      B. POLITICAL CORRUPTION:
      1. Trends BEFORE the April 2022 Regime change:
      a) In 2014 (when IK was 62 yo, and 4 years before his stint as PM from 2018-2022), corruption case per wiki. Prof’s message: “Foreign funding case was lying pending since 8 years. It was first pointed out by one of his own party members and he did not allow it to open during his [his] regime[‘s time in power]”

      b) Disasters & trends DURING his time as Prime Minister

      • Economy: “Now I will share with you how growing economy was nose downed by IK government. Look how Pakistan was progressing when Nawaz Sharif was ousted in 2017 to bring IK by army establishment:” [AHH: Nawaz Sharif was PM preceding him)
      • “You can clearly see that how growth rate went nose down from 2018 to 2020 just before Covid started and remember IK took over govt in 2018”
      • “Pakistan stock in 2017”

      • “Pakistan stock in Feb 2020 just before Covid 19”

      • He worked against Chinese CPEC: “You can see how stock nose down more than 51000 to 41000 in 2020 though it reached below 30000 at one stage. All this happened because IK closed down work on CPEC project and most of the investors left country.”
      • Catastrophic increase in Total External Debt during his brief term:
“You can see that in initial 70 years of Pakistan there was a total loan of 90 billion dollars with an average of 1.3 billion per year. In IK tenure of less than 4 year it reached to 130 billion with an average increase of 10 billion per year and in 2021 alone it was 14 billion, you can imagine where they were heading too. If this man would have survived to 2023 the loan must had reached to more than 140 billion which must have resulted in default of Pakistan. All indicators were showing that he is busy in process of drowning Pakistan”
      • Electricity & rolling blackouts: “Before NS in previous government load shedding went from 12 hours to 22 hours per day various part of Pakistan. In NS govt from 2013 to 2017 he brought it 0 load-shedding which again went to 4-6 hour in IK regimen”
      • Crime: “Law and order situation also improved in NS period specially in economic hub Karachi which again deteriorated in IK period. All this point out that IK was on agenda of bringing Pakistan to unstable country like Iraq”
      • Pakistan corruption perception index (CPI): “was 116 in 2016 in Nawaz Sharif period which reached to 140 in Imran Khan ‘s period. You can image how much the corruption increased during his period. Corruption increased so rapidly that even in 2020 CPI was 124 and in 2021 it climbed to 140 while Imran Khan was still in government. Remember he was ousted in April 2022.”
      • Real Estate & sundry corruption:
        • National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigating the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) project
        • fined for buying vast lucrative plots & illegal construction on public property in the suburbs of the federal capital
Prof’s comment: “The first illegal property which was regularized after becoming prime minister was the palace of Bani Gala of Imran Khan which was constructed on 350 Canals of land. One canal is equal to 500 square yard . You can imagine the kind of palace he has built… There was a billion tree project corruption case by Imran Khan’s government.”
“it is important to note that as soon as IK took charge a campaign was started to demolish illegal properties and even 50 years properties were demolished inspite of request of the occupant to allow them to regularize but were not given this privilage, however not only IK palace but the flats of IK constructed in most expensive areas of Islamabad were regularized.”
“He also sold a very expensive watch worth 250 million Rupees, gifted by MBS in open market and did not declare the profit earned in tax return and refused to tell how much money earned and where he sold i. Later on after his ouster he submitted fake document about sale of the watch.”
        • He submitted this Urdu video of another corruption scandal. Reviews cases

      2. SINCE April 2022 ouster:
      1. [Prof:] “Reason for his recent arrest:Case began in 2018 in Britain’s National Crime Agency, leading to settlement with real estate tycoon friend, “derived from bribery and corruption in an overseas nation” Good links/video summary of situation too within this article [AHH: note (1) arrest was for contempt of court, ignoring summons, response, etc.. (2) data trail indicates this British “case” may have been legerdemain to justify transfering $150+ M to Pakistan, subsequently used as slush fund for his pol party while he was in power! The chutzpah! And led to direct corrupting of higher court too]
      2. more from FT: [“Khan’s political party had received funds from overseas-based individuals and companies in violation of the country’s laws”]

The Professor’s conclusion on IK: “Yes that’s unfortunate, this man could do a lot for Pakistan, had he stuck to his party declared agenda” This mirrors mercouris who in informative May 14 Duran video notes he was so inconsequential and ineffective while in power that mercouris does not see how he could turn Pakistan around in another term. So a complete hot-air balloon like Trump. And to top it all, mercouris notes he has so made use of the mob-inciting act that now it had a life of its own which would continue to haunt him and Pakistan (like France) and risked making a nuclear power ungovernable, the most criminal effect of all!

      Our final interaction:
[AHH: “in every metric he was catastrophe”]
[Prof:] “Surprisingly when I present this undeniable data to my Classfellows friend and overseas Pakistan, what now Imran Khan can do to improve the economy? They have no answer. Still most of them believe IK is best under influence of international media and are not ready look at the statistics of his disastrous actions.”

Does this remind you of Trumpistas or other participatory democracy voters sticking to same failed paradigm?? Pakistan is under same magical capture.. The Mighty Magical Wurlitzer..

Do you understand dear emerson why educated older Pakistanis are so angry at him? They were trying to survive the military Juntas when this whirling dervish assasin set on them! His draw of impressionable youth is irrelevant. Much is juiced from abroad, as we saw when west sent their troll armies online against Iran. There is no big difference between Pakistani urban youth and other unseasoned urban youth worldwide. His beautiful campaign words did not match the bitter reality. He turned out to be a Navalny who succeeded and got elected, turning his nation into a dystopia.

      In summary, he:

      • lied repeatedly, deeply shameful in their society and in traditional ones as you know, invalidating claims of piety and reform
      • nearly foreclosed their future with unrepayable debt & loss in investment climate
      • nearly killed off CPEC (angering China)
      • cratered their stock market and economy
      • created deep divisions within society
      • made a joke of their nation (driving visiting GCC princes like they were Sahibs)
      • behaved impiously by prostrating to shrines (against most Pakistanis/world Islamic precepts – and incidentally showing his ignorance of his own professed faith, and then lied about it, in spite of video evidence) – are these marks of a pious Sufi or of a huckster?
      • incited youth and ignorant into torching cities & blocking commerce and communications routes
      • fights to return to power in this October’s crucial elections to finish the demolition derby
      • Is supported to the hilt by western soft-power and medias, indicating a deployed weapon
      • and made nuclear Pakistan nearly ungovernable

Are these documented deeds and patterns that of a sincere mature reformed Sufi patriot with good intent towards his nation, or a foreign agent with same sense of impunity characteristics as Macron or Scholz currently torching their nations? It is not a coincidence the similarity between these smug supranationalists. All know Empire stands behind them, informing their weaning arrogance and impudence, with a fixed smirk.

Our professor was in agony. He has five adult kids & grandkid and recently went to Turkiye to acquire citizenship being so disturbed at Pakistan’s future prospects.

I derive no pleasure whatsoever sharing this news. Has been a most unpleasant 24 hours, not good for blood pressure. Why I usually avoid these controversies. But I now have reams of data corroborating the conversations and gut instincts from before. I have had many Pakistani friends and wish their country well.. some of my pals and colleagues in med school were of Pakistani descent, why I know their BS style and had the gut IK was fake. And this Professor I quote throughout was in fact one of my mentors. So the Truth will out, if we will only look. Why would western MSM tell the truth about IK when they do what they do against all others? That factor alone sold me, why I had not bothered to obtain evidence before. Now you have it.

If Pakistan is to have a future, and to operate the crucial CPEC node of the BRI which gives China access around the Malacca Straits and SLOCs interdiction, and for nuclear war prospects to be dampened on the south Asian subcontinent, IK or his ilk cannot come back into power.. I note Russia is supporting the current regime with oil shipments in local currencies, which bolsters them and lessens drop in QoL and thus IK’s chances of return, no? This is a salient point, the lifeline being given, indicating Russia’s choice. Is this October’s Pakistan election as crucial as Turkiye’s????

Life is unintelligible viewing slick western media campaigns. Always remember, (1) they lie with every breath and (2) they want to destroy all societies nowadays as part of Guidestones and depop agendas, which means dispersing their suave agents worldwide to fulfill those tasks using every device and deception.

I am so sorry. Don’t give up on Pakistan! I still see hope.

      Best regards

“Engaged in religious impropriety (practices at variance and which caused wide outrage in Pakistan) I do not know Urdu.. maybe Sudhi can translate?”

Sajda means bowing in prayer so as to touch the ground with the forehead. There is some controversy whether he merely prostrated before the Mazaar or if he even touched his lips to the floor of the Mazaar, which, according to some, is forbidden.

Imran Khan, as a Pashtun, believes in Sufi Islam, which may not be palatable to many. He is more than a regular Islamist populist, for he has succeeded in using his anti-West rhetoric to delegitimise the Pakistan army. His fanatical supporters are not limited to the lumpen proletariat but even include the lower rungs of the military, who might have facilitated the attacks against military establishments, including the army headquarters.

IK is now facing this backlash because he has turned against the Pakistani Army.

      dear ahh,

forgive me, it is i owing you the apology.

thank you for your gracious heart, i am sincerely grateful for your sage warnings & your entreaties to trusted mentors on our behalf, thank you.  above all,  i am relieved to be able to speak to you once more soul to soul @ the salon rather than OT, for that i thank the heavens, your patience, & God.

if i have been deceived it will not be the first time, nor i suspect the last.

step in a mud puddle expect a muddy hem. 😉

my take:   nothing is as it seems.   our time is yet a seed (possibly soaking).   protected by its inscrutable surface our seed’s harvest remains unknown; while many seeds resemble a mustard seed, a poppy seed or sweet alyssum, so i shall heed your gardener’s eye & hand & pry further, plant deeper, ever loosening the grip of seeing only what i wish to flourish & learn to nurture the seed emerging.

if imran is a sufi we can hold faith, as prigozhin’s dance of the 7 veils has revealed.

Our problem may be a dated understanding of the term “Sufi.” We still imbue soft romantic hypertolerance with it as centuries ago, as during era of Rumi. However, it appears to be so broad now, and as nebulous as saying someone is “Christian.” Which Christian? The conscientious peaceful type, regardless of denomination, or the ones in the trenches of Donbass now working for zionazis? So it appears with “Sufis.”

For example, the Sufi Order of Naqshbandis allied with Erdogan and joined with ISIS in invading Syria! So it is a mess and no longer useful term.
“The Muslim Brotherhood and the Sufi Order of the Naqshbandi were financed with at least $80 billion annually by the ruling Saudi family, which made them one of the most powerful armies in the world. All jihadist leaders, including the leaders of Daesh, belong to this military structure.”

Further, the Salafis, as part of their recruitment drives worldwide came to tarnish it as something negative, and even coopt it in places, seeking to drive people towards themselves. I note the formative years of IK were spent in Londonistan, global capital of Terrorism Inc, esp. Muslim Brotherhood intellectual wing of Salafis. Ironically Charles the Turd (III) was their capo. Note the ease with which IK moves amongst their circles, obsequious to GCC princes, with his wife wearing the niqab. So what type of Sufism does he have??? IDK, and is really academic. At this point, judging by his fruits, he was disastrous for Pakistan. I included the Character section at beginning to highlight, beyond religious affiliation, marks of hypocrisy and inconsistency.. The Juntas are no angels. But he accelerated the implosion of Pakistan during his brief term.

Our Pakistani Prof agrees with Sudhi: he may have been brought to power in 2018 by the military (all civvies are fronts in Juntaland), but they are really fighting now. He sent me this video where current ruling party leader says IK fights the military.
Prof: “The news that was printed in the newspapers that the then DGISI General Asim Munir (currently army chief) put the corruption reports of Bishri Bibi (wife of IK) in front of Imran, so he got angry, the thing is not that he (IK) wanted to establish relationship with Trump’s office, that he wanted hidden deal with Modi, he wanted to accept Israel, he wanted to sell Kashmir. There was a dispute over this, if any of my generals defends Pakistan’s ideology and defends Pakistan’s foreign policy, then we stand by such an army.”

So the beef between army & IK is his desired foreign policy of opening to Israel (as part of Trump’s Abraham Accords?) and towards India – forging detente, and ending Kashmir dispute. This crossed their red lines. So the generals are another problem, of wanting to perpetuate conflict in South Asia. Why not reach out to India if it strengthens both sides?? But military oligarchy fears peace breaking out if Indian “enemy” is normalized.

The reality about Pakistan/Egypt/Sudan, for good or ill, given their history and cultures, only the militaries hold water and will rule. They were never democratic and never really will be (like communism in China which adapted it to its own characteristics, or rather have a different definition of democracy).

Isn’t this an efficient way to deconstruct Pakistan – bring in a civilian reformer with media-whitewashed clean image, and have him take a sledgehammer to the military dictatorship?? After all his points are valid – the military are crooks impeding wider peace! Diabolical. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. So Pakistan cornered itself efficiently either way.

How else can one defeat a nuclear power? It has to be imploded, by hook or crook. So reform must come from within the Juntas. Imposed from outside through media campaigns will implode those societies.. Better the gradual pressure by Russia/China/SCO rather than this express route of using the youth by IK.

The quote above from Prof (“The news that was printed in the newspapers that the then DGISI…”) are not his own words, but his translation of comments from speaker or in the description of the video.

        He sent more evidence:

        • The cricket cheating incidences were self-admitted in both his autobiography (photo below) and in this 1994 TV show (!!!). Watch his facial expressions as he justified the self-exposure… (!!) conclusion: we are being mocked. Just as with Trump and rampant salaciousness since 1991. These new type politicians are like twerking musicians – used to degrade the debate in the public commons, to normalize the corrupt. “If our betters can do it, surely it is OK for us” will think many mesmerized by stars… And it’s beyond impunity or mere arrogance. “I’ll do it, admit it, explain it away, and still get your dumb adulation..” this is a common tactic among elites with contempt for untermenschen.
        • Article on cheating exposure
[Prof:] “Believe me, he is not changed at all. he has his own standards of truth and lie and does not hesitate to lie, when he thinks its for greater interest (In his own  thinking)”
        • He admitted to same tax-evading offshore company use as his Pakistani opponents exposed in the Panama Papers.. this is really standard among all high-net worth individuals worldwide in recent decades, but the cherry was: he had the gall to demand his political opponents resign for what he himself did! #chutzpah and #hypocrisy

I’ll weigh in on the issue of Pakistan.

People seem to forget that Khan was ousted just after he returned from a visit to Putin and Russia.  That tells a lot.

The last riots were not western backed because there was no sign of western backed tactics and methods.  I watched many videos and this stands out.

The west by the name of the US/UK, lawfared him.  So, they cannot like him very much.

I’ll keep my comments to geopolitical sphere.

In the Mercouris video that AHH posted, Mercouris agrees that Khan has the ability to bring Pakistan to a standstill.  He also feels that Khan was not a good leader per se.  But what he says, is that if Khan takes part in the upcoming election, he will most certainly win, BUT and it is a BIG BUT … the situation has deteriorated to the extent that even if he wins now, the destabilization of Pakistan is complete and it is questionable if it can be brought under control.

AHH says that Russia and China did not say much about the first ouster of Khan.  I disagree.  They did not say much, but what they said is completely within what they profess.  China stated that the relationship with Pakistan is not a relationship with political parties, but is a relationship country to country and not political party to country.  They will make their decisions based on whether Pakistan remains friendly with China, or not.

There was much Russian media, of course after the visit of Khan to Putin.  You did not see it, because it was not the usual Foreign Office statements, but statements from Putin himself.  This one is the most important from the visit:

The leaders of the two countries discussed the main aspects of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on current regional topics, including developments in South Asia.

So geopolitically the South Asia area is, to say the least, jumpy.  The threat of terrorism is large.  China and Russia is concerned about any destabilization because of this.  At the moment Pakistan is under an unelected junta.  This is not a government that will gain trust in the eyes of Russia and China.  The current leadership cannot call elections, because they will lose and they know it.

So, most needed, is not screeds of tearing Khan apart, it is stabilization.  As with Erdogan (and I really don’t like him), I am hoping that he will finally win with the runof election.  There will be a level of known stabilization.  So with Pakistan.  I would rather have an immensely popular leader that works with his people, than some unelected bunch.  I will not comment on the religious aspects – all that stands out for me, is that if I look at any other leader in the world, I look at effectiveness, and not at religious dogma.

The situation, and this is not Khan’s fault, is a dream come true for the West.  Khan did not lawfare himself.  If the current leadership wanted to oust Khan, they went about it in the most incredibly stupid way that one could even think of.  That is where the Western collusion can be found.  They divided the country, knowing that Khan is popular.  All the destabilization that they want, and they can continue with growing tame terrorist groupings, take the eyes away from the efforts to stabilize Afghanistan, and create regional chaos.

Well done, unelected junta.   You worked yourself right into a Western dream come true and Khan is gaining popularity as we go!

Kahn may not be the best administrator.  But show me a country that came through Covid unscathed with a beautiful economics picture.  There are very few .. Iran to an extent because they were already hardened against Western games.  China of course and Russia is riding high economically.  There are a few more, but they worked their Covid measures totally differently.  In terms of the slowdown of CEPAC, that does not bother me, because many many Belt and Road projects slowed down to basically maintenance mode.  They are picking up now, and we will see a massive Belt and Road summit in China not very long into the future.

Khan has something going for him and that is the complete adoration of the younger Pakistani.  In today’s environment, that must be used and not abused.  It is a gift to have that cohesion.  Give him the best economists that can be found, work with the neighboring countries on the problem of terrorism to gain hope in the eyes of Russia and China, and elect your darned officials!  Throw out the Western influences.

        OK dear A,
on this issue we will just agree to disagree, lol! We will undoubtedly know more soon… this issue is in the global spotlight. Truth will out.

Actually I remember IK was in Moscow the very first hours the SMO started! What timing!

I do not attack IK willy-nilly. I based it plenty of economic/legal/political/moral considerations above. And based on input from reputable folks on the ground, not subject to our filtered media lens.

        We agree:

        • he was inadequate leader during his term
        • China/Russia will work with any leader within Pak
        • He is fighting the military powers that run Pak
        • He is instrumentalizing youth/mob
        • The current ruling opposition is stupid, fueling division themselves
        • Pakistan is on edge, just about FUBARed and ungovernable

        Our differing positions:

        AHH:

        • IK is untrustworthy – a western agent
        • He is corrupt – reason for countless lawsuit ( I do not dispute some minor ones are excuse to get rid of him – again, see above of current rulers’ acumen)
          • underlying this is understanding in his society, morality (or lack thereof) and religion is fundamental and can delegitimize a politician, which it did for honest aware adult Pakistanis, given his conduct
        • He is a media construct
        • instrumentalizing youth/mob is MOST negative, hallmark of Five Eyes, whether they changed tactics or style or not
        • He is an immensely popular leader among impressionable youth, ignorant, and corrupt
        • the future of Pakistan will not be determined by the poor young flotsam but by hardened older ruthless Junta
        • torching cities creates chaos, worsens divisions, and can engender Civil War
        • IK administrative catastrophe was from Day One in 2018 (see graphs above)

        Amarynth:

        • [you don’t state it explicitly, but maintain:] IK is trustworthy, having reformed
          • [you must enter into religious discourse to support this. For example, how does his countless documented lying and hypocrisies square with his faith? Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Consider sheer volume of allegations, unusual in even corrupt Pakistan]
        • He is NOT a western agent
          • proof is lawfare (countless lawsuits), coup soon after Moscow trip, atypical riots,
        • instrumentalizing youth/mob is not negative
        • the future of Pakistan can be shaped by the poor youth flocking to IK
          • they can determine Pakistan’s future without experience, know-how, brains, money, guns or influence among regional SCO powers
        • Cities weren’t torched or limited rioting was unconnected to Five Eyes since not the usual template
        • IK administrative catastrophe was since covid

Many of these positions are wildly irreconcilable. Both of us are relying on media and on-ground people for our positions. But let us be patient. The Truth always out. It is not easy to let go of positions held over decades…

Re: “At the moment Pakistan is under an unelected junta. This is not a government that will gain trust in the eyes of Russia and China.”
I strongly disagree. Nothing to do with juntas, which are norm in [most?] places. And they work with worse regimes around the world. But in Pakistan’s case, they have earned a black mark because of their behavior of ~ 50 years of pumping terrorism throughout World-Island, on behalf of Anglo-American suzerains. Pakistan deservedly lost trust of most countries. They have to change their model of co-existence. They are undergoing same current agony as the desert Bedouins. Terrorism and being Salafi-camels came back to bite!

btw, this may give us clues to why IK was ousted, if my understanding of his being a lackey of GCC/Anglos is correct – to nip the bud of terrorism and prove their credentials, the Pak Junta had to oust him and all with his type of “Sufi” version.

Last: Meyssan largely agrees with your position. He considers IK a noble Sufi reformer. (!!!) His brief is visibly limited. He notes Juntas have been only effective force in Pakistani history. And he notes IK is such an outsider, unpredictable with limited effective base, as to put to the question your mutual argument that he operates as a maverick.. this actually argues for increased dependency on outside powers, such as Anglos!

As Pepe with intra-elite Russian politics, Meyssan appears a lost romantic vis-a-vis byzantine Pakistani politics. Like most, he sees what he wants to see of IK.. Well, each of us has his area. He does not discuss his economic policies much or more importantly the catastrophic results, except to attribute it purely to IMF austerity..

Hi AHH, you know something? … I found a way to confirm or not, the idea that Khan is perhaps a western stooge or darling or carbon cutout, whichever.  But oh dear, it will take some time and I’m not volunteering lol.

The crazy idea is to go through all of the UN General Assembly votes and see how Pakistan voted in actuality while Khan was leader.  It will be telling, but too much work indeed!    So we wait and see what comes.  My interest is mainly geopolitical and I cannot bear to see another internal destabilization.

Another thing .. just a fun thing and a little meaningless .. having grown up in a British Colony, everyone knows how to cheat at cricket.  I don’t know if you’ve watched them, but the bowlers usually polish the ball against their clothing or sometimes with a towel.  The fast bowlers may have something in their pocket, or a button on their uniform, or something such like or even scratch it with a fingernail.   So, this is called ball tampering, to change the aerodynamics of the ball.  I mean those guys bowl like over 150 kilometers.  I guess this is a common cheat if even I know about it, and I’m not a cricket fan.  The cricket school boys can give one lessons in this and it is there that I learned about ball tampering.

To Mr P (and others of course)

You were talking about the Russian strike on the Ukrainian weapons and the wind direction and so on.

Vanessa Beeley had these few comments. It starts here: https://t.me/VanessaBeeley/14669 and I leave it to you to make sense of (if there is sense).

The radiation detectors sited in Poland to the NW of the explosion in Ukraine show a highly significant increase in gamma radiation. The wind direction is SE so this fits with a plume from the explosion site. Uranium daughters Thorium-234 and Protoactinium 234m have gamma ray decays. The 94kev gamma ray from Th-234 is a 6% decay but there is a lot of Uranium. So they would show up on the Eurados detectors.

Access to the European gamma detectors network has been blocked by the German server.

The Radioactivity Environmental Monitoring (REM) group of the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC)

“The Eurados monitors have sharply risen by about 50% to the NW of the explosion site. More than 4 Standard Deviations, so statistically significant . Not a Radon spike as no frontal weather systems. Wind is SE so this stuff is coming to Berlin and across Europe, whatever it is. Could be Uranium.Black smoke UO2. Contrary to the bullshit, Uranium is a weak gamma emitter due to the short life daughters Th234 and Pa234m and so would appear on the Eurados gamma detectors if there were enough of it. Alternatively maybe they will get a bit of beta through the windows.” — Dr. Chris Busby

Yes Brother! Don’t do dope… many people learn this sooner than the pictured examples of people who are still studying, so to say! Many of my old youthful cohort were fast learners! And some were not. It’s a walk in the danger zone, and a willful submission – not good. It’s also “political”, the Rockefeller Drug Laws being crafted deliberately to result,in concert with enhanced supplies, in the removal of targeted “demographic groups” from the political arena, via incarceration and removal of civil right to vote, and having the effect of supercharging the city gangs. More recently, the “un-measurable and unknowable potions being flogged to  die unnötigen Menschen.

“The Patriot AD firing the entire battery in rapid sequence, whether by design or protocol, or by panic – (which are good questions!) had the effect of minimizing secondary explosions.”

If the main purpose of any air defense (AD) system, including the Patriot SAM, is to destroy incoming missiles, then the new generation AD systems would be built around algorithms capable of intercepting hypersonic missiles. It would be beyond the human capacity to respond to such high-speed missiles, which is why artificial intelligence (AI) would be included in such an AD interceptor.

Now, as far as we know, Kinzhal and Kalibr’s deliberately destroy their targets going straight down. Under such circumstances, the Patriot System would go haywire, and in order to protect itself, the AI software in the Patriot AD would release all of its interceptors vertically to destroy the incoming missile.

However, since the Khinzal is a true hypersonic missile, the Patriot was incapable of destroying its target despite its advanced software. The Patriot expended upto 32 interceptors in quick succession but could not destroy its target. In the end, the missile was capable of destroying its own target viz. the Patriot PAC-3.

      Dear Friend Sudhi…

If the main purpose of any air defense (AD) system, including the Patriot SAM, is to destroy incoming missiles, then the new generation AD systems would be built around algorithms capable of intercepting hypersonic missiles”

They say “Patriot” design was to shoot at aircraft. The calculations necessary for intercept are necessarily slow, I am told, because they involve fractions, which base 2 has to estimate. That’s above my pay grade, but I have had discussions about it with a competent mathematician and computer fella, who used to work for some sort of airplane company…I forget when and what he did, maybe I did not know…

It’s always going to be more advantageous to shoot down in a gravity well of 1 G, as opposed to shooting upwards. @ https://archive.org/details/TheMoonIsAHarshMistress_201701  In the text of the crpto-fascist story the advantage of shooting down, rather that up, is discussed.

I agree though, that the machine logic can’t be fast if there’s a human involved in a “switching mode” saying shoot or no shoot.

IMHO Mach times 10 can probably be doubled, if necessary, or tripled. Similar improvements in AD would have to be energy beams, or magic.

They say that in the 404 matter Rus has escalation dominance. That makes the AD Patriot just a dangerous target set, like the rest of the nazi scrapmetal, and the nazis themselves.

Flotsam from the Maelstrom – “Accelerating Russo-Iranian connectivity”

      (1) “First Russian bank opens in Iran” dollar? SWIFT?  just 250M folks (and neighbors) banking people to people… Nothing to see here, move along!

      (2) The missing INSTC pieces of the puzzle are being built, long delayed. “Moscow and Tehran sign key rail deal.”  Russia agreed to build missing rail portion between Iranian cities of Rasht and Astara, financed by Iranian oil. This INSTC is vital link of Asian connectivity. Currently, the construction of the Rasht–Astara railway is 70% complete.

      Geopolitical implications:
      For Zone B:

      • Provides combined cargo transportation (trucks, rail, seas, Don/Volga rivers & canals) connecting Baltic/Black/Caspian Seas to the Persian Gulf and thence to Indian Ocean.
      • Connects three giants of Russia-Iran-India in a central Eurasian corridor free of blue seas interdiction by Pirates, their proxies & fellow travellers..
      • Faster and less expensive than the Suez Canal route from Europe to Asia.
      • Way for Russia to get Black Sea/South Russia grain to market without transiting NATO-held Bosphorus
      • Way for Russia to rope in GCC into multipolarity – they get faster, healthier, more assured grain than interdictable shipments from unstable Ethiopia/Africa or unreliable Five Eyes.[“Putin also noted that the new rail section will make a tangible contribution to ensuring global food security… “The new highway is intended to be used, among other things, for the transportation of food and other products of the agro-industrial complex, which will be intended both for consumers in Iran and for the countries of the Persian Gulf and Africa,” the Russian president explained.” ]

      Zone A counters:

      • sanctions, sanctions, sanctions – but so what?? Russia & Iran, key pillars have nothing to lose now. They’re excluded from [dying!] western markets and reciprocate hostility. Even Russian banks excluded from SWIFT now move shop to Iran..
      • stirring Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict. Would block Azeri land route. Zone B counter to the counter: redundancy and direct Russo-Iranian route via Caspian; Putin’s positive relationship w/ Azeri leader Ilham Aliyev
      • Failing: Turmoil & insurgency in northern Iranian provinces peopled by their ethnic [Iranian] Azeris. Counter to counter: Russia smoothing relations between nation of Azerbaijan (which would need to instrumentalize intra-Iranian insurgency) and Iran. And Shiite Azerbaijan led by pragmatic Aliyev not intrinsically hostile to Shiite Iran..
      • Failed: coups in Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia (maybe they tried in all littorals of the Caspian?? Stolid regimes in Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan appear immune)

Dear emerson, Pl do not discomfit yourself excessively! 🙏🏼🤲🏼 We only harm ourselves, given so many points of contention on the global chessboard. Tis the era of endless crises; we need to pace ourselves.. And only God sees into the hearts.. Prof and I could be wrong, in spite of all evidence. He could be sincere.. merely a mule being used and endlessly sabotaged.

And that is the key point. We CAN judge any prior leader’s results. This empirical tool is not only fair way to judge, it is critical to use in order to avoid plunging into same hole if he revealed his inadequacy in the past.

Pakistan is between a rock and a hard place. On one side, a heartless Junta ruling since Partition in the subcontinent, expressly created as an anti-India like Ukies were as anti-Russia, both regimes against sentiment of their vast populations. And now an incompetent rabble-rousing populist speeds along implosion. Why should we settle for the lesser evil. Isn’t the lesser evil still evil?? And with such unprecedented deception, which IS the lesser evil? Consider how many of us are currently rooting for the Perfidious Sultan! Godfather of ISIS and to this day its rear base from Idlib into Asia Minor. Could the Pak Junta be a similar ugly duckling on the outside, with more palatable inner reality? I don’t know

The 2010 Rockefeller “Scenarios” (see page 16) appears a blueprint of the ongoing Reset. It explicitly planned for a post-pandemic stage where politicians of both sides of the artificial divide would be delegitimized, along with rise of authoritarianism disillusioning all nations with corrupt and hypocritical democracies.. all would clamor for honest and effective political leaders. Most would be steered into worse dead-ends, such as populist fascism..

At essence, it’s an Imperial play to deprive a people internally and externally. Amarynth highlighted a VIP point: for a society/civilization to thrive in positive comprehensive sense, there must be optimism, hope, or “people with shining eyes.” This requires a worthy elite who maintain trust and have sense of honor and stewardship. This has been removed from most societies. This underlies nihilism, chaos, lack of support/stake of most for stability. And why youth do not mind torching it at the first beckoning. They deeply sense the system itself is an enemy.

Empire likes that. It can work with it. It keeps targets down. Makes Empire look better than its own seedy reality. Last decrepit structure standing?? That’s its last hope short of nuclear war I suppose.

And externally the same, per this article’s premise, “the most important issue in the process of forming a new world order is the maintenance and strengthening of mutual trust…”

Internal stability is key. The Turks begin to appreciate it as the Chinese, who value it above all. MKB deciphered Erdogan’s imminent win: “The AKP’s success goes to show that the Turkish voter seeks a stable government in Ankara when the external environment is becoming extremely dangerous for the country and the economic crisis demands attention..”

Most other societies are not this mature. They have slower pacing, understanding or capacity to learn Imperial shenanigans and to seek group cohesion. In a way the phenomenon of IK reminds me of covid and the European Greens and the Biden/Trump duopoly in the US. It is a measure of perverse or deep faith. Counter to logic, evidence, track record, and future import.. The fog of BS became blindingly thick. Radikha said in recent session with MH and Mick Dunford, “… the irony of the fact is that everyone who says ‘Stand up for Ukraine and we are going to defend Ukraine’ is actually contributing to the systematic destruction of Ukraine…” The power of the con or hypnosis has been amped to the level that the victim is induced to craft or participate in his own deconstruction. A truly evil era.

Just as folks pumped themselves full of vaxxes thinking it was protective – when it was actually created for the opposite function. So during times of primal Resets and wiping the slate clean of “infective humanity” – these new type of slick media-savvy politicians were created that make 99% proud and willing abettors of their own group suicide.

IMHO, we should observe, pray and not get too attached emotionally to any one individual. Much sordidness will surface. Most men are little… And their ploys cannot stay submerged under 24/7 glare of public view. Internet, social media, smartphones, group memory — work both ways, a tool in our favor too. As the western Narrative in the Ukraine unravels, so do these human media creations. Far more important and resilient will be systems of organized unpenetrated sociopolitical structures.

Oh boy, can I pl put IK behind me 😅🤯
I avoid following celebs like the plague. And it is becoming seedier than a too fast done Amitabh Bachchan Bollywood flic I watched in the 70s.. My friend the Prof keeps sending me Urdu videos too, and says there is a way google can translate it, but I am a semi-luddite and didn’t have the heart to tell him i want out.

I fear it won’t end well for IK. The Junta have killed sitting PMs! And themselves been blown outta the sky with the US Ambassador on board too (talk about misplaced insurance…). Larry Romanoff in his latest taught me why De Gaulle acquired a fear of flying. All imperial outposts are pitiless lands run by hard-boiled men..

I have no proof, but I think IK is being set up to be a “beautiful martyr” by the West. It is amazing the Junta didn’t bite so far. Imagine if the Biden clique shot Trump in February 2021? That is the kind of effect it would have. If my theory on IK being Agent 007 is true, perhaps the Junta is being advised by the SCO how to gently remove the hot-air so he doesn’t take the country with him. This would be his last use for his AZE handlers. So lawfare, removing media attention, smear tactics. Jail was tried as with Navalny, but became too risky and they backtracked. He really has a following.

Anyhow, I cannot help with their internal politics. Not my strong suit for any country. They will continue to harass him. This is easy for a state. He has redundancy in real estate though, lol. Just one of his properties is 150,000 m2. NATO currently owns less real estate in Bakhmut and Lugansk combined! “Catch Me If You Can (2002)!”

Maybe the Russians and Venezuelans are advising the neanderthal Junta, given expertise with Juan Guaidó, lol. “How to make a puppet irrelevant!” No need for hard power. Just string him along, sit with him periodically and hold his hand, media photo-ops with embarrassing plants sitting nearby, while away his media energy, and wait for the Tik Tok attention spans of his handlers to snap and discard him. Aren’t legalese, procedures, officialdom, deliberate diplomacy, drawn-out thoroughness and stately bureaucratic processes beautiful and deadly in their own right?! How many Narcissists committed suicide rather than endure and be smothered in this unsexy and undignified fashion?

PS – The IMF is as dangerous as managing IK safely. My read is the IMF (like sanctions a tool of western state-craft) is applying hard-ball tactics, beyond asset-stripping and austerity. Are they trying to deepsix the CPEC, sabotage Gwadar port, etc…? We do not know the conditionalities, as not public. But Pakistan is balking. Some GCC pals stepped in with help in March/April but Pakistan has been mismanaged for so long, its debt is unsustainable.
“Debt servicing ballooned to Rs.3.58 trillion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year till the end of March 2023 against the net revenue receipts of Rs.3.4 trillion consuming the whole revenues.”  (!!!!)

I was shocked at 80% of Nigeria’s budget consumed by debt-servicing. For Pakistan it is 105%!!! This is criminal and worse than lawfare. It attempted genocide by odious debt. At essence Pakistan has same problem as West. Unrepayable obligations to satanists with cans kicked down the road.

It needs to default. Will it be a test case for the new birthing economic system? This is not far away Africa. It has a border with China and its economies are becoming integrated. Most investments and imports are from China.. It just paid for Russian oil in Yuans… Why not test taking a small economy entirely off the dollar system?? a golden debt jubilee…

PPS OK. Have been really busy wrapping up Lineaments.. last part 08 out within a few days.. (seriously, I promise it is LAST one this time, and under 3k words too! 😂 Although the ToC for entire set is 4.5k words and 10 pages, lol. I aged writing this!!!)

Has IK in a convoluted manner given a voice to civilian forces so that they may be in a collision course with the military establishment? If this, indeed, is happening, it is not because anyone wanted it: tactical play and the pace of events have led to this moment.
          From an article :
          https://www.telegraphindia.com/opinion/turning-points-the-changing-civil-military-dynamics-in-three-nations/cid/1937962
… we see a new Pakistan struggling to emerge from the old, and, quite apart from the current contest, the country seems to stand at a historical turning point. atm, Pakistan is the Cudgel used by Empire to beat India at “moments of recalcitrance.” This is its key utility.. And it appears center on the board right now, given Indian

        1. refusal to join QUAD in war on China
        2. working to settle border issues with China
        3. refusal to stick with unipolarity
        4. refusal to sever long profitable relations with Russia
        5. leadership in dedollarization and diversification from the dollar system
        6. profiting from SMO through Russian oil trade (internally and as middleman)
        7. refusal to join Green Agenda Craze by deindustrializing (they INCREASED carbon footprint though increasing Russian oil, lol!)
        8. serving as leader of entire Global South as head of G20 and other fora

The Rage of Empire is incandescent.

        It informs

        1. top Bilderberg topic right now is INDIA
        2. pushing to make Pakistan an officially failed state – a black hole next door with nukes and all that entails
        3. exploding the Kashmir file @ the G20 (with foolish connivance of India itself!! The Modi gang can be triggered all too easily too) – which Chinese friend of Pakistan is boycotting.

There are levers West can harm an India which attempts to sit on two chairs (like Turkiye and KSA). All Global South need to quickly understand they need to abandon West ASAP. Every contact, relation, business, forum and opportunity will be used to harm them and multipolarity. When will India get it and fully dissociate? Hopeful not as late as Pakistan

Dear emerson, I hope you’re right about Lula. Maybe he’s playing 4D chess like Wagner’s Chef, and with connivance of Russian leadership too. I remain partially hopeful as well. We’ll see….

I want the world’s stolen cultural heritage sequestered in dark European basements and vaults to be returned too, but as I noted with French in Lineaments, it’s a cynical and geopolitical excercise to curry favor and disarm under current circumstances of epochal weakness. They’re “groveling” as part of the charm offensive against Africa and India.

How many were returned during periods of strength? What percentage and serious stuff (and ungrudgingly) is slated to be sent back even now? To ascertain seriousness and purity of intention, look at even more recent intra-european ww2 nazi loot — claimants and dispossessed still screech and clamor to this day, lol! Btw, I’ve not heard of similar legerdemain underway against Latin America??! He’s a victim, as well as a criminal, and desperate… I’m serious he ought to fly to Moscow and take what comes. As to the “camp” nature of things..well! Everyone knows. At one time Mrs P worked in theater, opera, mostly, costume and so on. When Hollywood shoots a commercial the caterers include an entire array of drugs, something for every taste. Smart people learn fast though…and some are not bright.

“Acting President” was, speaking of sexual types, the term Gore Vidal used for the rather dull-witted Ray-gun. (well, that’s what his friends said about him)

You’re welcome emerson, I find that speech by Gaddafi to be one of most important I heard in my life. Haunting given what was done to him just three years later. Note back then, Al Assad was laughing at him like many, clowning around. (iirc it was held in Damascus) He’s neither laughing now nor so innocent of the import of Gaddafi’s words, eh?? So many veils dropped since 2011.. folks thought Bush II (Cheney really) was a mad aberration but Obama’s ungodly duplicity and rampage and Russian return to West Asia sobered everyone up. And here we are.

Mr P, I apologize. I wasn’t monitoring misfiled comments. Amarynth and I don’t know what’s going on. For this Salon, if we include more than 2 or 3 links in a comment, it neither posts nor sends an email to moderation. It hangs in limbo. I need to remember periodically to go and check for them. So all please holler if not done within few hours, and I’ll remedy. Thx

It’s funny in the Hearty Salon.  It inherits some rules from the main Global South Site, and others, it does not.

You can post images by the dozen (but please do not do that lol!)  But it hiccups on more than 2 or 3 links.  That is inherited, because a common sign of spam, is links upon links upon links.  So, many links – it goes to spam, except for the Salon, it goes nowhere, because in reality, we have no rules here.  One can either be a dictator on rules or live with the software.

I only know the rough story — Bashar stumbled into his role. To be fair he wasn’t groomed. His older brother was. Then he passed away and had to step in. In 2008 speech he didn’t appear ready. Or maybe as Host, he was laughing him off nervously, embarrased? Western PR was quite potent in portraying Gaddafi’s eccentricities and truthtelling as madness.

His father was one of the old ruthless and astute cadre like Fidel or Gamal Abdel Nasser, one of the occupying Cancer’s most feared enemies. He was most wise to send Bashar to the West, especially Londonistan where he developed in the Belly of the Beast, like Moses. London shaped and owns the MB! Note his bitter words about them in the speech. Not only did he dine with the Erdogans and wooden John F Kerry & his Ketchup Lady, he likely knew or saw their satanic proxies in London… And came back with alotta knowledge that would save him and his people. He is unimpeachable and with unquenchable fire now, like the siloviki who witnessed the 1990s. Erdogan has a lot to atone for to return to his good graces, which is doubtful. The ironies of this life! Erdogan is one of few to successfully straddle the fence, but his nemesis is his little Syrian neighbor whom he betrayed!

Are any as capable, resilient, and firebreathing an opponent then those who are raised by their enemy, like Moses? So the initially soft, trusting, liberal and carefree ophthalmologist really grew into his role. Good genes, very tough society (Greater Syria or Shaam, like Novorossiya, faced war and invasion since dawn of civilization), community spirit under imposed genocidal war, tough Iranian and Russian allies and tutelage, stupid barbaric enemies… he was not merely lucky but a Sign for those who have Eyes. And is the last of all to go!

because gaddafi was an admirer of nasser, i mistakenly assumed that gaddafi would’ve also connected with assad’s father.   assad’s london life may’ve been heady, music & classes mixing like exotic cocktails, but wasn’t it remarkable & marvellous that as he hadn’t been raised to rule he was allowed to take on a useful career, lacking obvious pretentious glamour & wholly connected to the people & poor in a real way?  not the choice of many elite arab second sons enjoying london’s posh dens & salons.  that choice & his sincere humility leads me to assume he would’ve grown up with the green book, for a time an item on many shelves in montreal & new york, alongside the little red book.  how did he survive those first years suddenly tossed in amongst the party of sheiks & kings all accompanied by their princes ala bandar waiting to mentor, groom the young president?  he must’ve been played & led & grievously misled?

for when empire attacked nasser regardless of whether or not assad’s father was aligned it would’ve left a deep impression on assad & his family.  possibly an awakening.

once upon a time,  there was a brazilian poster, canthama, deeply committed to syria, her cause, people, artifacts & history…perhaps you recall him?  he floated through various sites, most vanished unfortunately, but his perspective was, like yours, invariably illuminating & unforgettable.

Hi emerson, I don’t remember Canthama. I’ve lost touch with much of Greater Syrian history. Was more informed decades ago. Nasser, Assad Senior, Gaddafi, their promising generation was mercilessly attrited and taken down one by one after internal division, wars, economic siege, lack of PetroSheikh support, etc.. they simply lacked resources to fight against the Empire of the combined West, their real antagonist. And Russia was not then ready.

Assad senior and Gaddafi were actually close allies for a while in 1970s during pan-Arabism wave. They almost created a confederation state of Libya-Egypt-Syria.. but Empire picked them apart, key being Egyptian submission to US leading to peace with Israel. Then he miscalculated in 1975, intervening in Lebanese civil war, turning region against Syria. Then 1980 Iraq-Iran war polarized and nearly finished off the region, weakening the resistance camp and a Greater Syria project involving Syria, PLO, Jordan, Lebanon… so so many losses, devolving into bickering and disunity, so sad.

I remembered that Salafis and MB attacked Syria in Daraa in 1982.. so he would have had experience dealing with that Imperial proxy clique even before London. And far more important than either Assad is the united, multicultural, multiconfessional, highly resilient and geopolitically agile Syrian state apparatus.. a deep state! Only such nations can stand against West.

so it is doubtful he was naive even before London. However the 1990s were the Hyperpower moment… a deadly allure to all where both the resistance and socialist camp let their guard down for years and are to this day clawing back sovereignty and dignity.

PS – it dropped! A is processing it.. here’s the ToC.. it may not make as much sense to those skipping earlier parts. This is a condensed summary, nearly tied for third shortest part. Enjoy

Pl take care about travel to Peru dear emerson. Last we heard there was internal turmoil and riots and even killing of protesters following the takeover of the coup regime. So atm not secure. Also as the highest settled cities on earth, the oxygen content is quite low. This would distress you and may affect recovery from long covid. Pl consult with pulmonologist or an experienced generalist. There may be workarounds – there are ways to increase oxygenation, and/or to lessen demand by reduction of exertion (i.e. limit walking & hiking, etc and instead use vehicles/golf carts…).

I would love to see Machu Picchu and their preserved mountains road networks too. A subtle and unique civilization; I believe their language was only recently deciphered?? Flotsam from the Maelstrom – “lingering Imperial mentalities”

      (1) The UAE’s insidious role as Imperial bulldog building “lily-pads” and ports through southern Red Sea bottlenecks around Gulf of Aden, Horn of Africa, and Bab El Mandeb. This modern Sparta (and as irrational and irredeemable) may be the most detested gauleiter throughout West Asia, North and East Africa. Or is it being given a role by supranationalist Zionism akin to Venice?? Either way, if continues on current trajectory, very dark future ahead for UAE. It also informs why Russia-Iran-India are turbocharging the INSTC to circumvent Bab El Mandeb, Red Sea and Suez. The good news from Armenia biting the bullet and settling Nagorno-Karabakh (or Artsakh which they’ve held claim to for 3,000 years before Azeris even showed up) bolsters the trans-Caspian INSTC trade flows too.

      (2) How old Imperial borders define ongoing mindsets and shared realities…  Very useful video. This was highlighted in Lineaments regarding 1885 Berlin Conference-constructed African borders which stand to this day.. but the same principle holds worldwide. It is salient as we contemplate the next SMO phase and Poland. Medvedev messaged a lot recently about the coming disintegration [Fifth Partition??] of rabid russophobe Poland…..

      (3) Internet Archive under the guns of the Ministry of Truth. Much WILL be memoryholed, the good old fashioned way – drowned in saucy Lawfare. So many soulcrushing mental gymnastics used to reach desired ends… Modern Western Law appears an adjunct to Stalin’s Dictum: Voters are unimportant; the Ones who count the votes determine everything… similarly for Those who deemed fit to interpret Law… “one Law for thee, one for mee…”

Two very interesting articles which are more or less saying the same thing viz. having been unfortunate enough to have bought the Ukraine now Europe’s days are numbered :

“The West is experiencing difficulties similar to those experienced by the French poet Nerval, who bought a slave girl from Java. The cost of keeping a concubine has already exceeded all the expected benefits, and there is still nowhere to put her. There is only an endless series of contributions to “counter-offensives” ahead.”

The EU Is Over-Invested in the Ukrainian War-Project

      by Alistair Crooke
“Ukraine is not a stand-alone foreign policy issue, but rather the pivot around which Europe’s economic prospects will rotate.”

“The European Union, by any standards, is over-invested in the Ukrainian war-project – and in its romance with Zelensky too. Just earlier this year, the western (and EU) narrative was that the coming post-Winter offensive by Ukraine would ‘break’ Russia and render a ‘coup de grace’ to the war. MSM headlines spun a regular tale of Russia on its last legs. Now, however, the Establishment messaging has done a 180°. Russia is not ‘on its last legs’ …

      (1) “[bla bla..] could force Russia to move capital to Siberia”  Hmm! This may be a good time to make use of Climate Crazies’ frothing. The larger hints won’t die down. A few years ago, Shoigu mentioned intent to build ***three*** new capitals in Siberia. And now this… Hey, Russia did say it reoriented away from the closed “St. Petersburg window to the West.” And that means closer to new Best Friends Forever, no?

      (2) Lavrov demotes Oz to an island in ASEAN (LOL!) “The fate of continental Europe is shared by the other members of the collective West, including countries located in southeastern Asia. Ah, the understated and dry diplomatic putdowns! Why we love him so.

      (3) Bitter Anglo-Saxons turn against India…. they humiliate Modi during his visit to Oz by screening the BBC documentary hostile to Modi (and censured in India) in their Parliament House. This lends credence to the deduction Biden left Asia quickly without attending QUAD as they had lost India… so the usual insults, threats, sanctions and the sordid viciousness is being rolled out. Puts in context Jungle Borrell’s recent bitterness whenever he speaks about India!

Having an interest in the “esthetic” of guns (Heaven knows why!) the new “deployed” in 404, “2S35 Russian self propelled cannon, struck me as an interesting modern example of how guns have evolved. Note that the rate of fire is now said to be 16 RPM. The range and technical specifications of the “152 mm” (or nominal 6 inch) are probably somewhat similar between the USN 1930’s “6”-47″ and the gun on 2S35.

      Here’s a bit about the two examples.>

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2S35_Koalitsiya-SV  (take cum grano salis)

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_6-47_mk16.php (Do take a look at what was involved in feeding and aiming the navel gun, and consider that it’s “miniaturized” to an astonishing degree.)

The modern machine mounts a gun roughly equivalent to the cannons used on WW2 US Navy Cruisers, and it’s an autoloader.

The Gunners out there will want to argue about details. It’s just a rough comparison illustrating the changes, and the sober reality of kinetic events. Significant because they can never be taken back.

Emerson, as you enjoyed AB Atwan, here’s more concerning his thoughts of the last Arab League Summit. He is bursting with optimism! He also explores rifts between KSA and Algeria/UAE.. the former may be mismanagement easily solved. The latter indicates Yemen is still area of contention??? Perhaps UAE is still fixated on its “Ports World” lily bases, in which invested heavily. And perhaps like KSA inviting the Comedian to the Arab League Summit, maintenance of these unmaintainable lily pads is UAE’s sop to Empire to not be savaged… Did KSA pull a fast one on UAE in getting out of Yemen, signing alone with the Houthis last month? Remember UAE did the same to them a few years ago, leaving them in the lurch alone, lol. With friends like these, who needs enemies?? The reality is as Yemen heals and consolidates (and gets compensation from GCC for their sea of crimes) they will evict all squatters on their critical ports and islands…

Mr P, on second thought, perhaps that Belgorod raid publication of commercial companies’ maps wasn’t carelessness?? I agree with Mercouris who said yesterday that the use of American vehicles for the raid (knowing they would become scrap or trophies) was deliberate when they had so many other minor nations’ available. Along with maps, it appears a deliberate affront…. How does a losing former Hegemon being humiliated on every front and being exposed try to regain some initiative?? This was more than about covering Bakhmut. He counter-humiliates (so he thinks) by attacking Russia proper with his own vehicles and publicising the preparatory intel work for the task. Criminally selfish bastards! This is the mentality of the childish neocons, with absolutely no regard for implications or consequences of attacking the homeland of the premiere nuclear power. And to top it all, they lie to hide from their captive populations being suicided how deep they are in the big muddy, mere heartbeats from Armageddon.

      (3) Brits refuse to repatriate bones of Ethiopian royal LOOTED BODILY at age of 7 (!!) Right. Of course these consummate humanists care about disturbing the dead.. Q: do the deviants have the bones? Did they forget where they dumped him? What was really done to him? Given sophistication of modern forensic science, could evidence could come to light about how a royal teen died back then?! Gnaw-marks on bones and whatnot. Blackhearts! (read comments under article…..)

      (4) SVR’s Sergey Naryshkin: he would advise the “Anglo-Saxons to take care of their own internal civil conflicts. Or better yet, go to their old pal – the devil.” signs, signs, signs from one of the most powerful men on earth….

      (5) Kazakh President mocks the West?! Keep in mind, his former job was as one of Lavrov’s colleagues in the USSR Foreign Ministry, so he is invariably polite and indirect in speech.. In January 2022 they tried to off him in a coup, saved by CSTO (Pashinyan as rotating head gave the order! what a 7th column sphynx). Now he quips (1) about Union State (which K will join) and (2) having protective nukes at one’s back.. ahhh, Steppes gallows humor and revenge, both taken dry, cold & quite calmly. After May 9th VD parade & Xi’an, Central Asia is not only sealed off quite nicely, but the president of its most powerful state is a permanent enemy…

Ah! Yes, “deliberate” provocation, and silly. Indeed childish. Under stress people become. sometimes, children. “…This is the mentality of the childish neocons, with absolutely no regard for implications or consequences of attacking the homeland of the premiere nuclear power. ”  Of course the neocons (nazis in my view) lie. This is their trade, deception. Burroughs, who studied America and the Classes there, and knew the darkside, accurately observed that such experts were themselves victims of their own deceptions, and thus ultimately failed, holed upon the shoals and foundered by their lies. The one mark that can’t be beat, the mark inside.

Recalling the Great Military Strategist Colon Powell>  “You don’t use Ambien? Everybody here uses Ambien.” (That particular drug is, they say, now passe and replaced by several similar substances.)

Of course the systemic structures filter out the competent in favor of the nuts who serve as slaves to evil masters, but given the reality, I’d bet they’re all on dope. (I do not discriminate between  the official and the criminal dope dealers, and doubt that these fine gentlemen scruple to avoid the cocaine, but they believe that they’re “just fine”.)

      ……………

Considering Abraham’s argument – Sodom-Gomorrah, the story does not speak of the country folk, does it? Recalling “The Unpleasant Profession of Johnathan Hoag” . Much later, the older Abe “gets up early” to sneak away before Sarah twigs to the plan – and fails to argue. God intercedes of course, and never bothers to waste time chatting with Abe anymore. Guy’s past it.  Noting that the criminal grip upon the Hegemon consists of a dendritic network characterized by nodes. These naturally might seem attractive to a countering force. Most of the US consists of misinformed but nice people. The period of re-adjustments would be pretty rough though. Hard work and poverty with plenty of death. If the war comes to MacBeth’s Castle, these nodes… Well. The Time will become free… (Old Bill knew some stuff!). Dope dreams not withstanding, nobody can stop Time for more than a moment.

The hysterical Mr Turner – who claims that the Hegemon is insisting that the F16 flying machines must be those rigged for nukebomb drops – is terribly naive, I think. But probably right, too, about this insistence.

Helmer, who speaks of NATO exercise (attack) beginning 12 May, and Turner, may be a bit off…everybody like a surprise, don’t they?  I wonder if the schedule is as advertised…or maybe the dates are also a deception.

I like the “go to the Devil” jab too.

A bit of Burroughs I did not know> “The Place of Dead Roads (1983), called “the backlash and bad karma of empire.””

Mine was the first generation going through graduate school in the internet age.. how relevant the words of a professor then: ‘your task will be information management.’ More than ever than in the past, when some scholars had to trudge to another country for a single book’s knowledge or to consult an old living library. Now it is like having a fire hydrant to the mouth! What to swallow and what to spit, and on the fly before it chokes you, or worse, wastes your time?! So much, elation intermixed with dread.

These days of quickening, I wish had 36 hours per day or I didn’t need sleep… A paradigm arguably built since Babylon and perpetuated by a continuous Parasite since then is being dismantled in front of our eyes! The news of Ukie deputy GUR spook threatening to kill Putin is not coincidental. They need to stop momentum any which way, and they needed it stopped yesterday. It’s going down Mr P. It’s a wild time.  We are in the oppositional forces of the economic thrust of the whole world bursting forward seeing some hope and willing to fight for it, and the empirical forces fiercely escalating and fighting for their empire.

      The escalation will continue.

We’ve never in our world (besides maybe ancient human civilizations that existed in earthly history that we do not know) seen a time like this.

We had a small medical emergency today.  I was desperately writing and dealing with the emergency, there was pot roasted chicken on the stove and I turned it off and declared it cooked (ha).  Anyway, I’ve just had breakfast and lunch.  Yikes, I’m tired.

The night SMO has just kicked off and missile launches from Russian Air Force strategic bombers are reported.

yes, nuland said even if it takes 16yrs!!  then medvedev says we’re could be looking @ an extended long drag ’em out.  i’m not convinced empire can drag this out for a decade or longer.  sure burp, pat pat ukraine into sticking out—& russia will continue to meat grinder its way through nato’s arsenal but empire doesn’t know what a besieged city really means, let alone a country…or themselves.

apparently the russians opened a dam?  presumably to wash out the ukraine means to re-supply?   there’s talk that why artyomovsk was so crucial is that empire lusts after crimea & has not relinquished the dream, & artyomovsk was within reach of  empire’s being able to cut off russia from supplying crimea.  the F16s apparently can if it’s a drone/minus pilot & exit stuff  it won’t need to refuel & can just make it to deliver a whooping hit.  (never mind never mind it’s an expensive drone or that russia’s EU may detect it).  sigh.  you nailed, amarynth, we are in the midst of the world’s craziest dazes.

Yes, my Friends, things do seem to be picking up speed, and “weird state of war” is about what I thought too. The business seems to change shape very rapidly.

Turner goes on that 50 senators (all Democrats) and their short list families are supposed to report to some vast underground “cities” (caves?) no later than Saturday.

The NATO “ukrainian” counterattacks seem to be direct attacks on Russia.

Turner goes on too about sabotage of digital nets, ostensibly by China.

      Things may go poof anytime.

I have no idea if this is slick propaganda or slick AI or perhaps true.

Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Epic events are unfolding in Germany but no one seems to talk about them.

A top ranked German General Andreas Marlow has been appointed to train Ukrainians at an “international training center” but after realizing who he is actually dealing with, he contacted the prosecutor’s office and the German MOD to launch an investigation on Ukrainian war crimes against Russian POV’s and civilians.

During his work with the Ukrainian neo-Nazis soldiers he pointed out in particular that Ukrainian soldiers trained at the bases of Wildflecken and Hummelburg repeatedly bragged and showed videos of brutal tortures and executions of Russian prisoners of war, confirming Ukrainian involvement in war crimes.

Although dozens of German officers saw these videos, they were ordered not to disclose what they saw in oder to avoid ruining Ukraine’s “reputation”. Since many of German officers do not want to lose their official posts, they do not make the facts of the Ukrainian war crimes public. Funny enough, it gets even worse, Ukrainian soldiers according to the report have showed great interest in the archives of the Nazi SS torture programs and repeatedly asked their German trainees to be familiarized with the archives of the “special methods” used against the Soviet captives during the WW2.

Apparently Marlow is one of the few generals in the west who will not step over his honor and will not accept the policy of concealing war crimes even if it will cost him his position or rank. He is convinced that the torture facts must be investigated, and the officers should be allowed to speak up on what they saw during their work with the Ukrainians. Even though Marlow submitted a formal application to Duscha Gmel – the federal prosecutor at the Federal Court of Justice, and a copy to the German Ministry of Defense back in February of 2023, he still did not receive any official response from the authorities. Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow can be contacted directly to verify the information:

Lt General Andreas Marlow’s story does seem credible though… maybe the last sentence in your post is questionable though.

Additional: Source of this? : “Bundeswehr General Marlov: soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not interested in training, but in ways to intimidate the enemy”

          ZZzzzzzzzz……………

The coming mid-June Air Defender 23 NATO Charge of the Light Brigades moment has several pregnant points, reinforcing it is actually part of the Ukie Offensive, as childishly messaged yesterday by Vice-Roy Vicky. (1) It is the largest multinational air operations exercise in NATO history. Has 10,000 (stated) participants from 25 nations with 220 aircraft. (2) Almost all of its three areas of operations take place over Germany. Finnish Air Force will join.

Quite symbolic, to launch an Air Barbarossa, no? So even if, as is likely, it has little impact on Russia, it allows USA to (1) suicide German-Russian relations for next 10 generations, and (2) in case they choose not to escalate to nukes, to wipe their hands of the Ukrainian front, withdraw from defeated Europa, leaving the smelly doggie bag in Europe’s hands.. that is one scenario anyhow, unless they go full retard and detonate all fronts simultaneous to achieve their longed-for nirvana

Hmm. Amarynth, Putin’s solution to the Armenian-Azeri blockade of his INSTC appears novel and quite doable, as with all his initiatives against western shenanigans of the last 23 years. Asymmetric and practical.

He is not trying to solve border issues which accumulated since Soviet times, and are being inflamed by the Usual Suspects working both sides. If an Armenia led by a 7th column refuses to listen to sense, and Azerbaijan wishes to play to the piped tune of UK, Israel and the Sultan — they can exhaust themselves until sanity returns (as with Sudan, Pakistan, etc).

But in the meantime, both sides can guarantee passage through their territories, like the Ukie grain deal. The two blockheads can even enjoy their own low-grade SMO, if they’re so foolishly inclined! The entire weight of EAEU, Central Asia, the Emperor, India, Iran, ASEAN, GCC and Africa bear down on them to unblock the road.

Mechanisms will be put in place to police and protect against proxy shenanigans. As the West expires ever faster, and prosperity brings back sanity and realignment, the issues should resolve themselves in due time.

For Siljan, Sudhi, Mr P and friends: from the melancholia archives – “Dark is the Night – Soviet WW2 Song”

      ZZzzzzzzzz……………

Flotsam from the Maelstrom – “Reality vs. Narrative”

      (1) BRI vs Western Narrative. The tally so far… “Half the world’s ship cargo now uses China’s BRI”

      (2) Mercouris is concerned these spate of lyin’ stories in UK and west about Ukies shooting down 7 Kinzals, wounding the signals ship guarding the Turk Stream, hiding loss of Artyomovsk, etc….  is bravado to maintain morale.
I am more concerned this is shaping the Narrative for Air Barbarossa (AKA Pearl Harbor II) — that “Ruskies are inferior and we can handle them.” To bolster the mindwashed men being sent to their group suicide. Then when the F16s and other hardware starts dropping en masse outta sky like copious fairy dust… feign skullduggery was cause, cry havoc and let loose the nukes. A whole bunch of men (at least 10k in the Air Defender exercise) may be sacrificed to generate the desired outrage, just as on Dec 07, 1941.

      (3) on the other hand, a distressing report says “the United States INISISTS the [F16] planes be a specially-modified model capable of carrying the U.S.  “B-61″ free-fall nuclear bomb.”  Incendiary stuff from Hal, if true. These are times he has value. UK, Germany, Poland in favor. Türkiye, Hungary, Greece against. France no where to be seen as usual. Please those listening to broadcast, let us know what he says at 9pm EST… this may explain Medvedev’s stridency of late.

I am seeing Slim Pickens attending to the proceedings in person, ensuring delivery, even if that means riding the bomb like his favorite rodeo mustang…..

the issue appears how convincingly they can lie to most pilots not so inclined… “refuelers are waiting, you carry normal ordinance, you can survive Russians with this new AD Wunderwaffe covering you, etc etc..” what a mind job awaits the Bouncers of Empire used to bombing goatherders and wedding gatherings…. “vive gladio, mori gladio”

They are as unimpressed by the motley crew behind IK… but Pakistan badly needs change for the better. He chastises USUK skullduggery, Indian schadenfreude and fence-sitting, and fears disintegration..

      (2) The Oceanic Empire (Atlantis) is in zugzwang. I really enjoyed Batiushka’s latest, reminding us of Atlantis. Atlantis must launch Air Barbarossa..
Imploding Financial Ponzi ↔️ Dedollarization rendering worthless the printing press, effectiveness of suitcases of cash bribes worldwide, and bakes in internal hyperinflation ↔️ Ticking All Cause Mortality ↔️ Last shred of military prowess & prestige evaporating ↔️ Sanctions failure ↔️ Loss of media magic amongst 90% Rest of Humanity ↔️ Loss of faith in [woke, LGBT] “Shining City on the Hill” ↔️ Rise in commensurate and often superior non-Western tech, innovation, engineering and know how  ↔️ Loss of basic respect for their [Pirate] way of life and tolerance to be plundered = unending resistance everywhere

Dear AHH, it is in no one’s interest, especially not India’s, that a nuclear power Pakistan with a strong Army becomes destabilized.

Instead of making him a martyr, Imran Khans wings, along with his subordinates, are being clipped so that he is neutralized. If “…the Pakistani military can be regarded as a cautious and conservative institution that is averse to risk-taking, and its commitment to Pakistan’s stability and security has remained unwavering..” Then what has the Pakistan Army been doing for the wellbeing of Pakistan if its economy is now in doldrums?

Please read about the level of corruption that exists within the Pakistan Army as well as its immense control of Pakistan’s economy. Till date, Pakistan has remained a feudal economy, and now, with the exponential growth in its population, it is bursting at the seams. The Junta is unable to provide for the basic necessities and for the aspirations of the common people. Hence, they have now chosen IK to become their Captain, believing that only IK can lead them out of the present morass.

Were the Pakistan Army rational, it would allow IK to become the PM after the next election, if only to blame him for all the current problems. But the Army has taken a different approach altogether, which goes to show that there are other forces working behind it. Moreover, the western MSM is totally supportive of the current Pakistan regime.

Yes Sudhi, I very much agree the Junta is a large part of the problem. Professionalism has been lost across the board. It is precisely their corrupt system that permitted IK to float to the surface, like current “leaders” in the West. The same neoliberal template. It is their entire paradigm which no longer works. And blaming it on IK won’t solve their immediate problems. I don’t have solutions…

I think MKB represents the old cadre, like our Pakistani Prof. They maintain, “better the devils we know….” But I do agree with you and Amarynth that this kicking of cans down the road no longer works. Pakistan’s about to erupt and fully fall apart. They need profound change.

btw, note even though official western MSM support the Junta, their social media and NGOs (like Amnesty) support IK. They’re two-faced, playing geopolitical games. Fueling the flames, inciting both sides…. and this is consistent with what we expect of an Empire in retreat leaving scorched earth throughout the World Island, especially its key Indian subcontinent and connectivity to it.

      Friends, Brother AHH…

The dronekit criticism due to EW is, I think, well thought. After the fact they may claim “drone”, but training suicide pilots gives the game away, I think.

Listening to Hal T is a bit of a task, I’m afraid, but I want to know about his audience – what he thinks that they wish to hear. Since he worked for the political police as an informer-agent and now seems to continue as information agent at least from time to time… so it seems to me that somebody, possibly “retired” is feeding him information, and possibly steering a few bucks his way – his finance needs seem to me larger than his income – a general gut impression on my part – Hal seems to have a bit too much money for his enterprise. And some of his vitriol makes no sense to me, and that makes me think. Emotional fella, easy to manipulate… He’s not making sense when he speaks of US cities getting attacked, cities are not targets – the simitechnical Hal does not grasp the implications of accurate weapons. I’m also recalling Abraham’s stories…and the 10 righteous bit. In Strategic sense US cities post diluvium would “take care of themselves”… ketosis aplenty.

I too savored “Atlantis”. My lawyerish editorial critical eye did nail a contradiction there, though. The neocons are also waging an existential war. It is not an optional attack by neocons, but existential. Atlantis by it’s very foundational nature must plunder or die, she’s past retreating, having cast the die in the creek when they stole the 1960 election by rifle fire in ’63, and done past doubt with the demolitions after Bush/Gore went to court, even though established law prohibited USSC from entering into political matters – that election and the Court “decision” was baldly illegal. Orientis imperia dedenda et voranda, ut aliter Roma in pulverem convertenda est. Atlantis is getting somewhat friable these days. (that’s a pun, I guess)

in ’63 my German coach and I discussed the murder – she had lived through the overt German Nazi period prewar in Germany, and, Jewish, had escaped to UK with her mother, whom I also knew slightly. And with her husband (a combat vet and also Jewish and a PhD chemist flogging lab-grade “IG Farben” chemicals to make a living)…they three knew a political murder when they saw one. I did not, naive kid. When they shot the patsy, however, even I knew. Once a cohort makes the matter one of murder the die is cast to follow a way of life determined by murders past and present, as esteemed Lady and the ever circumspect Billy have shown. Of course they failed their Shakespeare classes…and became players in a cruel farce. Some say the Lady C is running the Ohbummerdude who’s running the senile guy. I suppose so… In ’63 too, I was shooting every day on a team, and knew immediately that a bolt action rifle could not have been the sole weapon in Dallas. Accurate rifle fire is slow. Inaccurate rifle fire gives away your position. There was obviously a conspiracy. From a decent vantage point it was an easy shot…but not from the proffered locus, ergo> “grassy knoll” time… drum roll.

It’s just an editorial criticism, the argument stays valid, imho. Things slip past.

Pleasant weather @ Anoxia, and a day of yard sales and tooling ’round on the old bikes looking to find small treasures – mostly as an excuse to see. See nice people and chat, sometimes actually discover wonders. The ordinary people are, though Protestant, devout and decent…as you know. And they’re dismayed at what they see, but don’t understand. Sadly too, many are ill. Noting that illness mostly fixes itself with physical work and occupations combined with wholesome food… The rural roads lead by yardsalesign to places set away in the trees on long dirt roads and people I’d otherwise never meet. Pretty girl and pretty old ladies, nice old men with weathered hands from a life of honest labor. Quite a manichean contrast between the people and the media simulacrum. Yesterday I bought for a dollar a magnifying glass that belonged to a doctor who practiced hereabouts over a hundred years ago. Made in Germany about 1870 I judge, nickle plating still pretty…Mrs P will use it in her sewing.

      Time to go…

I’m not with the existential.  Nobody wants to remove them from existence – Only their tactics and influence.  They may keep their lives.

Have a wonderful weekend!  Yard sales were one of my absolute most favorite activities when we lived in the US.  And after, coffee at a book store.  In Africa books were expensive.  In the US, for my eyes, dirt cheap.   Those were still good days.

Yes, Dear, from the point of view of South, I agree, they may keep their lives. But like MacBeth, Die schicksalhafte „Lösung“ für die Nazi-„Neokonservativen“ selbst besteht darin, zu sterben. This seems to make the matter from the nazi point of view, existential. That is my logos. Perhaps MacBeth might have made another decision, but he was unwilling to do so. The Russian charity toward their obdurate and desperate nazi foe is the stuff of legends to be told…and that they may keep their lives but must chose to die is classical. They do face, quite explicitly, criminal charges and punishment…that alone must be entirely unacceptable to the nazi regime’s big actors and movers. And as Oh Bummer famously said, they face the pitchforks too. Or Bush 41, “lamp-posts”.

You’re very kind Dear, and you too, and all, indeed, let us all have a fine holiday weekend! I have “heavy lifting” in the garden to-day…moving hens to better “pasture” and schlepping bags o’ stuff, some concrete perhaps too . Perhaps the terrors will pass-over Anoxia…we chose it for that. It remains a Christian town with Christian villages and farms, plenty of fundamentals. Almost like Dighton Kansas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dighton,_Kansas (I worked the wheat harvest through there eons ago, and knew a lawyer there, and his family) Toe-headed boys hunting  with their .22’s brought their game to the hotel kitchen, opened for harvest, and asked their mothers to cook rabbit. The hotel was a dollar a night….bath down the hall, but clean sheets and to high “Kansas Kraut” standards. The exodus and diaspora after 1848 an’ all of that – one reason I exist, though I can claim “son of American revolution” by blood.

At Chronicles it is said> “Many times we ask ourselves the question, i.e., is the ordinary citizen of the US responsible for the acts of their Warmongering State of Insanity?”

The morality matter might be opened to question the behaviors of any State or people, and far into the past. However the question at hand as posed above seems to imply agency on the part of the groups that might be considered as to responsibility. Do the people have agency in the US? This agency would exist in a democracy with well-informed people guiding the State. In the present example, and arguably since the telegraph, at least, of the US this is simply not the case. The people have essentially zero power, they are baldly misinformed, and shrewdly manipulated by experts servile to fascists and ultimately nazis in the full sense. Since the first Europeans with steel and powder invaded this has grown step by step. It’s also stupid. It’s a pathology. https://archive.ph/YBO6u Princeton Study)

and https://archive.ph/X3X4A Famously J. Carter agreed “the US is not a democracy at this time”, as I recall.

Considering the influences (influential and crazy) Adolf Loos had, evidently extending to biology and the sciences > “It is a rule in paleontology that ornamentation and complication precede extinction. And our mutation, of which the assembly line, the collective farm, the mechanized army, and the mass production of food are evidences or even symptoms, might well correspond to the thickening armor of the great reptiles—a tendency that can end only in extinction. If this should happen to be true, nothing stemming from thought can interfere with it or bend it. Conscious thought seems to have little effect on the action or direction of our species.”
― John Steinbeck- John and the Doc went on a voyage in biology.

Considering that process, how would it effect institutional operation, function? Excessive protocols, irrational agendas, vice?

Thus perhaps morality is unrelated to the natural development of fascist institutional stupidity – not the responsibility of the people at all, but ruining them without heart. The process is obviously terminal. Afterwards the surviving criminal persons (possibly the Great Men who actually knew and could) may be praised or hanged, but that’s politics, not morality. Most Americans would probably not mind in the lest if the criminals were hanged, if they were properly informed. In the past, when they had some power, they sometimes did this, not that I have an opinion as to whether they were right or wrong. Ethics is at least a dual input “crunch”, so to say. Reality-perception-character in a tirade?

Actually I wrote a brief on this matter after the demolitions in NY and before B43 went to Afnamistan or Iraq…predicting more or less the history since then as it would run in the US. And it’s been on my mind since then.

To blame the ordinary schmuck for the crimes of individuals over whom he has no control or understanding, and only knows lies would be as immoral as blaming the dog for his master killing the children next door.

By virtue of character and opportunity and circumstance some US individuals are informed. A few were able to leave and join opposing States and nations. Since they have no agency, they chatter, or perhaps plot…who can say? (We garden, and take notes) The remainder are delusional and distracted and played one against another by experts skill un- imagined by Herr Gobbles.

But maybe I’ll change my mind…maybe the innocent are guilty. Calling Abraham…

      Best! P

It is a pretty real thing for us, I mean en famille.  We are a multi-cultural marriage and we do talk.

But yes, I’ve seen it said – the folks have no agency.

The folks in many other places were not allowed agency.  Take a look at the piece from the Russian MFA that I just posted.  How to split oneself into a pretzel morally?  Where to find kindness?   I think the dog would be more wise.

      (1) “India vows to fight against political bias of ranking agencies”  It’s a free-for-all against the drowning West. Putin recently voiced need to form their own apolitical (and non-western) rating agencies. Now India speaks up – saying we need alternatives for the corrupt indices of  “Reporters Without Borders… World Bank, WEF and UNDP.” These adjuncts of the US State Dep will all go the way of League of Nations…

As you intimate at the end Mr P, it’s a mixed bag… I may not be a lawyer, but logic says its not categorical either way, even accounting for elite subterfuge. There is the ineluctable process of two-way seduction, of both sides preferring the show on the wall of their Plato’s Cave, and working to shape it to mutual satisfaction. Elites do not operate in a vacuum. A saying exists in all old civilizations – “a people get the leaders they deserve…”

Even before the current suffocating PR (the 4th estate becoming open stenographers of Oligarchy) there was a process of gradual immersion, greased by the trauma of war, privation, and periodic lessons such as Dealey Plaza and Kent State atrocities. Does not a dope addict take the first hit consciously and voluntarily? So decades of abuse later, even though he is on autopilot and a helpless victim in society’s eyes, isn’t there nevertheless a portion of blame??

This is the stuff of entire libraries.. in every era in every civilization.. do the silent majority have agency when they invariably participate in high crimes? Is not silence acquiescence and in essence participation and thus complicity in Law?

More pertinent, what does moral Law hold? What happened to entire societies in biblical narration, when the unopposed course of a few elite families, condemned the whole city? If we agree the same Lord continues to sit above all earthly petty lords and still has Sovereignty, and Justice means impartiality and consistency, what does it imply today for the silent majority??

We live in a sad age, marinated in deliberate ahistorical and amoral emotion which mock these as “trite old stories…” The secular modern Liberal Man holds that each is responsible for the square meter around his feet, and that the obviously criminal overlords neither speak nor can condemn us innocent individuals.

Is that so???? What stories are westerners raised in from birth, helping set the current stage? To believe in Santa Clause, the Tooth fairy and other ludicrosity, permitting instillation of doublethink from preschool. And this proceeds through every age. So adults are embalmed in cultivated – and widely accepted – ignorance, free of undue and burdensome complicity! (so they think)

The martial nation with unending parades, homages, reminders and sundry rites of War — and most jobs in entire lower classes of many states funneled to the MIC and Five Points, a perverse public dole of Death — this is not a problem??? How is there not accountability for this willfully chosen national state of dissociative identity disorder? Can they cheat retribution and deceive the Lord himself??? Who pays for one million suicided Ukies? Do the millions who cheered the killing of Russians and put Ukie flags on their social media and by their gate have carte blanche?

Even if the process was greased with dishonesty and delusion, the base reality is obvious by now within the inner heart of hearts of even the illiterate. “We commit unspeakable crimes over there to live this way here, and we acknowledge it not, and apportion sole blame to slick politicians and fat cats.” Has this ever washed in moral Law?

I think we have the same problem. We both love the people and seek to forgive their excesses – like the merciful Patriarch sought such forgiveness, even for the condemned sodomite cities of Lot. But this is not our prerogative. And I greatly fear we will be denied as was the Patriarch. The list, length and nature of crimes is simply too long and horrid. And they remain intent on the same singular course. Posterity simply needs closure so healing and rebirth can take root.

Looking at it from another perspective, western regimes held complicit any among the entire population who funded, paid taxes to, verbally or otherwise supported the targeted “terrorists and terrorist-supporting enemy nations” — even mere tweets or putting a Z on a car landed some in jail! And levy genocidal sanctions at slightest infringement, with calculated harm. Albright proudly said 0.5M Iraqi kids killed this way was worth it.

So for now, let’s put aside moral Law as so contentious, and really above our pay grade, except for those with copious documentation in front of Nuremberg trials. Just by symmetric response, can western regimes be held to same standard as they treat all others worldwide?

Btw, southern prepper knows the score, like my southern vet patient with shame in his eyes.. They know the overlords are rank criminals without shame or even regard for their own. And that “their service” was largely crime. He works furiously preparing for self sufficiency in the face of imminent society wide political and economic collapse and resultant lawlessness.

I surmise he chooses to speak as he does for several reasons — to escape YT algorithms, perhaps Overton windows, perhaps the understated southern way of speaking, and basically so he can continue to live in USA. If he publically admitted the depths of the depravity, that his paradigm serves Globohomonazidom, and of what was done to Others worldwide by the Army he served and to his own servicemen when they returned… it’s just too bitter. And he is like me a hopeless optimist. Even as he has thinly-veiled contempt for his gauleiters, he chooses to focus on the good and redeemable and assist others to prepare and to remain hopeful.

There’s a lot on the plate my Brother. I disagree with some aspects and some give birth to new considerations…for example the destruction of S&G – was that the destruction of a corrupt institution (the city)  and the people there mere “collateral” losses, or was the city the collateral loss? It’s a Jewish story too, so what does Jewish commentary say? I believe that the concept of excessive ornamentation dovetails through stages of vice to artificial stupidity as a natural part of end-stage stage capitalism and thence to violent but ultimately fruitless fascism. Thus “institutional stupidity”. But I want to work on this and related material, which interests us all one way or another, at some length. I may post some material on the subject. I may change my mind, we’ll see.  Pay grade? Yes, but I have always worked that way, and suspect it’s ordinary. Best! P

Pure speculation about the detour of the USS Gerald Ford… bringing Aegis AD closer to north pole trajectory of Ruskie counter strike?? Too bad about those subs and Sarmat’s unusual journeys in the sky..

Isn’t the name Gerald Ford ominous?! Tripped into the WH, was famous for doing so as POTUS, and lucky to survive out his term with a Rockafella a heartbeat away from controlling the football! I responded to yours above>

“Thus perhaps morality is unrelated to the natural development of fascist institutional stupidity – not the responsibility of the people at all, but ruining them without heart… Ethics is at least a dual input “crunch”, so to say. Reality-perception-character in a tirade?”

(if in-fact this posited process of seduction is ineluctable if cannot be, in the causative sense, a matter of  preference, but it must be intrinsic, situational, structural. Since all the old civilizations used somewhat different ways of seeing and knowing, and of course the meanings of words and concepts differ accordingly, it does seem unrealistic to use an English saying – what do words such as “[a] people” or better “deserve” mean in these generally past civilizations? And does the fact that the old civilizations are gone not imply that these civilizations were prone to error? Did the harem ladies of Sun Tsu’s story deserve their new general who beheaded one of them to enforce discipline?)

(We have observed drug addicts, and drug users. We disagree. I suggest that drug use is generally shallow and a dual learning process, Skinner’s principles in juxtaposition to character and mind. Indeed “informed consent” (consciously, voluntarily) drug use, particularly with powerful psychotropic material, occurs after experimentation, not prior to. Addiction, as it sometimes proceeds, is itself a learning of two – a learning to do, and to not do. Accordingly, it’s situationally variable behavior. The situation? This is a deliberate manipulation, with a budget and a fleet of ships and aircraft…  “Freeway Rick” and poor Gary Webb come to mind. So no, the dope addict takes his first hit as a naïf, unconscious, incapable of volition. Most do not become addicts – they’re not situationally vulnerable. But of the media; they follow the editorial instructions or look for a job. The editors follow instructions… “media” is simply a branch of the disciplined comprador agents, unless we’re including the back-fence chatter (Saker/GS, being a great back-fence!)  That of course suggests that “media” is an addict, addicted to money and the seduction of greed and power, or at least paying the child-support – (it’s a crime in California, a felony, to quit a job when it results in a failure to pay). Noting that at present the dope business dominates the media financially, or with force when necessary… Blame? Plenty. The US has only one foundational basic gem, the Constitution. Since Lincoln, and increasingly by degree the founding Law has been made “quaint” … count the crimes. But these, though a multitude, are the crimes of individuals. )

This is the stuff of entire libraries.. in every era in every civilization.. do the silent majority have agency when they invariably participate in high crimes? Is not silence acquiescence and in essence participation and thus complicity in Law?

(Silence, etc, is situational. So is obedience. There is a deliberate and contrived situation that generally prevents the development of mens rea. Moreover, duress is quite vigorous, poor Gary being an example, or Dallas, or Lira, or Assange. So no, this peopled-complicity is innocent in Law – not available for collective guilt or punishment.)

(In the Biblical example it was the town and the polis, the corrupt structure of operation that God blasted, a failed structure. Lot left the polis, ergo…the perverts had bad luck when they remained part of the polis. Like most of the scriptures, the brevity opens the door to interpretation. I doubt that Justice is either impartial or consistent. Rather it’s situational, a vector sum. Noting that “Tzedakah” and “Mishpat” and “din” are to be understood as all in operation. For example, Jewish Law admits capital punishment, but sets it aside due to the Law of charity. Not forbidden, just not done.)

(Yes, we agree, but this describes the situational and contrived deception. Again this “Liberal Man”  lacks mens rea. The “modern Liberal Man” holds his deceptions like a child at a carnival holds a balloon. He has a false icon of belief that he did not create, but was indoctrinated into.)

(Yes, again, no mens rea, situational deception, the multitude are marks, as I think you have described.)

(Of course it’s a problem. There are criminals in a become-criminal enterprise. It’s a failed structure engaged in creating its own destruction. Accountability?  That’s a political matter, it happens, sometimes.)

(Probably it has not “washed”, but we’re looking at a moment in the self-destruction that seems to suggest an iconoclastic process…as the bus driver said, “we can do nothing”. And as a passenger said, “but China and Russia have armies and they can do something about it”. This does not cast blame, it’s a moment in the dissolution.)

(Well, I do forgive. Things, crimes, happen, run their course, and then don’t. Failed ways stop, after a time, because they don’t work. I’m not sure it’s a problem, or if it is, that it won’t simply solve itself, as most problems do. Indeed “closure” is inevitable.)

(Criminals say many things, commit many crimes, then they depart – sometimes criminal enterprises come to an end. Ms A and her class being a fine example.)

So for now, let’s put aside moral Law as so contentious, and really above our pay grade, except for those with copious documentation in front of Nuremberg trials. Just by symmetric response, can western regimes be held to same standard as they treat all others worldwide?

(Law, and Morals, and Nuremberg may be on the same shelf, but they are not in the same class – Nuremberg?  that was politics. (A proof being Bush43 vindicating Goering’s opinion of the trials). Western criminal operations follow internal “drang” and have no consistent Policy beyond their vector sum ad hoc, so far as “standards” go. They may be held to any standard that situation post bellum avails. It will be a political matter. It must be, so it will be, so.)

(I think so too. Yesterday a feeble old lady spoke at market of how the soldiers have been betrayed! She said the verboten “treason” too!  You know that the veterans are considered to constitute a dangerous group, and it’s said that they ought not be permitted to keep weapons?)

I surmise he chooses to speak as he does for several reasons — to escape YT algorithms, perhaps Overton windows, perhaps the understated southern way of speaking, and basically so he can continue to live in USA. amarynth Dear, We observe that dogs have morals and make ethical decisions. And they willingly help one-another and other animals and man too,  in matters relevant to their scope, according to their character and perceptions. In dogs, once they decide to disprove of a man, it’s set in stone…long memory and not susceptible to charms of rhetoric. Well, that’s probably best for them, and not a bad idea for men.

Of agency. I know some stories about fellas that gradually became involved in the creation of diabolical machines, and gradually became unable to continue. Nightmares. They quit and got honest jobs.

At first I thought that I compromised when I worked for the Army, but it soon became obvious that working was optional while pay would continue – so I simply collected the miserly swag and spent 6 years reading Army magazines and chatting with fellas, enjoying a carnival, observing. (some fellas even made motorcycle parts or boat trailers!) Some rare times I fixed machinery, much of it antique and more or less useless. This did not help hurt anybody. The logos was that I, and most colleagues, were functionaries in a racket designed to loot the treasury of the beast….we got crumbs, they got even richer. I reckoned the operation was contributing to the collapse, and still do.

Mrs P and I are genetic “cousins” with family histories that match, and are probably related by distant German, Irish, Scottish, English ties…however the children are all estranged and crazy. The deceptions work better in the young…  Nevertheless we speak of the crimes every day, and lament.

He was trained in it, knew its particulars, and the import of respecting it, whether or not elites did so or it had fallen into wider disrepair.. he slept better at night knowing the crooks had nothing on him. And he’d been hunted over three continents.

And my mixed metaphors entangled. The process I was trying to describe is not precisely as understood in mens rea but how men lie to themselves into adulthood, participating in wider war on others (what Russians call as part of the collective West). Most in west fundamentally understand there is a permanent state of war, and acquiesce. Ramifications???

All the old civilizations collapsed. None escaped corruption. On a long enough timeline, it will happen to even the current Knights of Zone B or multipolarity.. Time is the Bane of all Men.

What I getting at with the phrase “all men deserve their leaders” points to the end phase of all cities/states/civilizations, which must go to dust before the next renewal. Yes, as all cities are led by fallible men, they must in the passage of time fall prone to error and unsurvivable vice.

And perhaps, looking at the big view, such crazies must come to power during end phases, precisely to remove restraining Mercy for the Nemesis to be leveled? It is astounding the near uniform parallels of fanaticism, fatalism, parasitism and oppression of others and the basic lack of self-preservation of elites during phases of disintegration. They themselves urge on Collapse!

There is also the difference between divine law and human law. The latter has ever been shaped to corrupt oligarchic will, increasingly diverging from the original until it is a risible parody. So we see today the astounding spectacle of US Supreme Court justices using the constitution like toilet paper! Like how Bush II was elected. Such is the contempt even the highest courts have for their simulacra during the end phase. So argumentation based on extant human law can lead to surprises, as often seen throughout history, when divine will was reimposed to wipe the slate clean of wretches seeking to deceive even the creator using lawfare, legalism and legerdemain.

All this may be moot. The issue is the criminal few hide amongst the sea of the Golden Billion, using them as human shields, like Azov in Mariupol. The fight will need to be brought to them, they leave no option. Can the cancer be excised without cost to the entire body???

And I really wonder at the nerve of Russians to calmly process the ongoing ungodly provocations. Open moves are made to set up a first strike or significant sucker punch against them. The easily-sunk blocking mechanisms for the counter strike leisurely sail to their coasts. The tremendous changed and positive geopolitical position, potential and bright realizable plans of the Russians are being used against them! They are in zugzwang too. (1) If they preemptively strike or counter strike, they lose out on the bright future, being set back even further than in 1945. (2) The only other option they’re being given is to kneel to western Hegemony, even more unacceptable with the open satanism on display. What a choice! And the mindwashing and practicing evil of western top military cadre remains so thorough, augmented by continuous purges of the intelligent and honorable, they cannot coopt with entreaty to reason…. so unless there is an asymmetric Hail Mary, the die appears cast

      Brother! Oh! We agree!

Men’s minds, I note are highly plastic, by degrees their memories can change, and sometimes need to, or sometimes not. Perhaps 90% are easily controlled by a persistent pressure and enticement. Well said that the criminals hide among the people, as nazis do everywhere.

I may have previously said something about my becoming working class (and moderately poor) by choice. If had not I would be deeply compromised. I’m proud of that choice. I take after the more decent aspects of my predecessors and kin. Just luck I suppose. And Mother told me about the nazis…

i’ve been silent, reading, processing the comments, posts, articles, the few times i’ve felt i had to engage, that i might have something to contribute, the next comment responded with the very thoughts i too had had.   so i took it to heart, this, emerson, is a time to remain silent, listen & learn.

pepe @ sputnik is as always most provocative & unfortunately sputnik doesn’t allow their site to link,  not even day old bread. sigh, & moving on.

i’ve visited ben norton’s site, & am assuming amarynth will post what she feels suits when it’s permitted.  ben has 2 posts: one which book ends, maria Z’s list perfectly: a study released by brown university’s watson institute: chronicling the deaths america & vassals must own.  truly a hard, heartbreaking read.  watershed, really.  & as others have noted russia, china & the RoH are preparing for what happens after empire has begun to digest defeat & muster how it might pretend & project that it indeed won.  how to move with hollywood/madison ave elan whatsoever it can muster to fight china for all the world’s marbles…certainly the very loose marbles empire is so obviously missing.

the other:  michael hudson, mick & radhika latest which is brilliant & i look forward to col’s comments.

i hope i am not blundering, dear, amarynth & ahh…it seems ben norton & amarynth are very well tuned & good friends.  i assume she will when time & agreed protocol have been reached she will post.  if not forgive my blundering ignorance.  blessings.

How are you blundering dear emerson?! You are always welcome and invariably on target. You’ve been missed! Even like minds can have differences of opinion. In fact as you know this is healthy and proof of normal variation.. just see above for countless examples, lol!

Yes I also thought of sending that video to A, but deferred as she likely knows. And she’s juggling writing, the site, submissions queue, a medical emergency in the family (hope well!), cooking adventures (eating pots made on the fly with uncertain states of readiness for human consumption…..) .. it’ll come though. The new addition Mick Dunford is a joy and excellent complement to an already fine duo

🙂  hummers are a delight.   i’ve one my garden, he understands adoration is a human need & allows it with disarming grace.

<span style=”font-size: medium;”> i, like you, have been aware amarynth’s dealing with multiple issues, & having been sending her family well wishes</span><span style=”font-size: medium;”>.   sputnik being so possessive gave me pause, & i began to consider, some sites are indeed very territorial…i do not believe either ben norton or amarynth are, both seem very motivated by getting truth out.  still michael hudson & radhika may have an agreement with ben.  it may be trivial, or not.  </span>

i agree differences are essential, & used to be the hallmark of good research.  sadly no longer, as many attempting to publish in once well regarded journals can attest.  making the disputation of differences all the more important.  panning for truth in days such as ours is crucial & i concede it’s one of empire’s few fields of exquisite expertise: fog, propaganda & concealing light & truth.

the recent (a week or more ago) release by the russians on biolabs seemed to herald this release of empire’s sins.  amarynth wisely marked it as though the RoH is beginning to formulate the agenda for their trials; which means empire is sensing defeat.  certainly ramping up Bioware will be one of its big last horse persons sent.  poverty on a global scale has undoubtedly also been saddled: i read (i think on middleeasteye) the state of pensioners in lebanon.  amaranth’s new atlas post informs us hybrid warfare is going to play an dominant role.  how china, iran, russia & the RoH meet these wars & saddled horse persons & help navigate our world through is indeed why we here are so fervently connected, & why, as you state so eloquently, differences are crucial.  we need to keep clearing our vision & minds, setting aside dated, wrong assumptions, retrieving our uncluttered knapsacks & hurry to the next smoking battle zone.  to make what we might from the smoke’s rising curls.  blessings.

Just a little explanation here of how things work.  Sometimes they work and sometimes not.

But generally, they work by agreement.  For example, I may have an agreement with someone that I may cross-post everything, except maybe something that they keep for themselves.

Michael is open like a book.  I post what I want and sometimes he jokes.  With their work, Michael and Radhika, Ben does the work, so Ben gets the scoop.  One morning, I get this hilarious mail from Michael.  It says something like … Amarynth, Ben is slow with this one.  Here it is.  Wanna scoop him?.   I laughed a lot, but Ben does the work, so Ben gets the scoop.   I think I am very honest with these things, because I respect all of us in this work.

Back in Saker days I generally and for years worked with all the guest posters, up to editing and so on, sending stuff back, asking for changes, rejecting, whatever.  And I generally remained friends with most.  One time I had to edit someone that I am totally in awe of.  It did not feel good to simply edit, so, I asked for permission – imagine that .. the editor asking for permission to edit!  What I got back was … You may edit, you may change, you may do whatever your heart desires and you may even write it for me and put my name under that!

So, this gives you a flavor of the inside story.  Many are snooty, and one has to play editor with them.  I don’t like it and would rather work as colleagues.  Some want me to be editor, so that I can be of help and seriously look at the material and seriously give feedback.

So, there are agreements.   One time I wrote to Ollie Vargas, asking for permission to post something from him.  He came back and said to use whatever I want as he has no time to mess with agreements and it is bourgeois as well.  Done, end of story!  And this kind of agreement then filters throughout all of his groupings.

Godfree frequently cross-posts something that I wrote, in his newsletter.  We sorted this thing out long ago.  He takes what he wants, he does not need to ask, and the same for me.  I find my stuff in his newsletter and he finds his stuff here.  No troubles.

So, these are long-term agreements or newly formed ones.  But usually, there is a good and warm relationship.   I truly enjoy the inside story which is a story that few people actually get to see.

Good enough emersonreturn?  Behind these sites are a group of very committed and very good journalists, commentators and colleagues.  If there is something you would like to see, it is only for the asking.

That is fully 50% of my work.

Flotsam from the Maelstrom – “Logic of Power…”

      (1) How Rosatom and its 350 subsidiary companies came to dominate global nuclear energy. Thx to Putin’s strategic vision in 2007 to preserve knowledge & build on Soviet legacy. A true behemoth on every scale.

      (2) Russia considers a Great Firewall like China a consequence of need for “Informational Hygiene” to save minds of youth & time/emotions of older citizens

      (3) The SMO expands — today to Kharkov to save Belgorod… tomorrow?? At minimum the reach of provided weapons — so far 300km for British Storm Shadows.

      (4) Official Russian base in Central African Republic coming soon. Six months after last French soldiers were evicted, and Russian flag was hoisted on the same base (!!), Russia is invited in permanently with contingent of 5-10,000 boots. Remember “diplospeak” — this news would not have been given by CAR Ambassador in Moscow without prior agreement with Russians to avoid embarrassing them… CAR is a strategic land with borders or proximity to so many hotspots in NATO-afflicted Sahel, such as oil rich Gulf of Guinea infested with pirates, including AFRICOM (see map). This news is worse than the return of Wagner to the Pirates!! And Russia delivered several military aircraft as part of this courtship and ensuring Plunder Inc stay OUT.

So much bad news in recent years that folks became desensitized. However two in last day shocked even me:
      (1) NATO troops brawling with Serb civilians in Kosovo. And EU continues to pour gasoline onto Balkans. How does history go when Europeans decide to punish Serbia and enter the Balkans in force??? How many Empires did they lose after those adventures?? History informs detonating the Balkans is a traditional way to start Europe-wide war….. Almost a de rigueur rite for them at this point.
      (2) wave of drone attacks on Moscow… (!!!!) Pure madness. They keep gouging eyeballs, expecting submission?? The storyline of working to generate internal chaos and political instability is risible. They want the Bear to fully leave his lair and fight. And chose humiliation of political leadership until they force their hand (!!!!)

      ZZzzzzzzzz……………

There’re so many rumours of the Ukie offensives, often fueled by the Ukies. Ukies lie with exceptionally brazen shamelessness. In a four line paragraph they do not blink at lack of consistency between lines 1 and 4. All recent words saying offensive now postponed to July are undistilled BS. The reality is this regime may not exist at end of July.

The SMO has functioned for NATO like the 1941 Balkans campaign for their spiritual (and literal) predecessors the Nazis. Back then, it catastrophically delayed the attack on USSR, and does so for China now. For 2022-2023:

      • It emptied the armories
      • It ground out the best NATO ground force, several times over
      • It exposed dated military doctrine and Anglo military “leadership”
      • It exposed inferior military hardware
      • It exposed expired industrial warfare capability
      • It rubbed off the misplaced sense of exceptionalism
      • Financial, economic and dollar juice is nigh spent
      • As Stalin was given reprieve to move the war production factories beyond the Urals (disproving lies they were suckered and unprepared), so China was given time to prepare for the inevitable. So on this count alone, the US is guaranteed of defeat, not counting the ongoing strategic defeat on European front
      • Further, all sane vassals and most planned proxies fled the European and Pacific scenes of the crime when they saw industrial quantities of Ukies and NATO being sent to Bandera in Hell. They are down to crazy Czechoslovaks, 3Bs+P, and Thais abused by pedophiles for generations (none good cannon fodder).

Perhaps the time remaining to the BanderaNazis is between the start of the June 12 Air Defender NATO exercise and the July 11-12 NATO Summit in Lithuania. It informs current heightened madness of striking Moscow???? They are on strict timeline.

btw, there’s alotta of satanic symbolism at play for June 12….:

      • It is called AD23 (google “the number 23”) with a start date of 612 (reverse to become 216 = 6x6x6).
      • Operation Barbarossa really began on June 21 1941 (London time) which was another ritual (again 216 = 666). Trump was also elected on a 216 (drop the 0 in western occult) and is celebrated by satanists as a mini-AntiChrist, the little horn (trumpet) heralding imminent arrival of his Master.
      • There’s even a link between start of Op Barbarossa of June 21, 1941 and this Air Barbarossa II on June 12, 2023: there’s a count between them of 81 years, 11 months, 22 days, excluding the end date.
      • 1122 (also the date selected for JFK execution) is the 66th triangular # and gives all 666666 on ALL gematrias (ordinal, reduction, reverse, reverse reduction,  hebrew, latin, satanic, fibonacci, etc.). Some call 1122 the new 666, as the latter became too blatant to hide in plain sight. Remember they are braggarts and love to stamp their handiwork on major crimes.
      • Interestingly, Angela Merkel, the most disastrous Chancellor since Hitler (I submit even worse than Scholz if factor her cumulative harm and duration and devious subterfuge) became Chancellor on this day in 2005. Has any, more than the duplicitous Ms. Merkel, greased the slide into the SMO and resultant WW3 and our new era? She even was sent to Moscow to arrange the Nord Stream II building AFTER the Maidan events, to prevent Moscow from immediately realigning to the East while they prepared the UkroNazis and sanctions continued to work…

These demented secret societies are run on schedules, especially their major attrocities and wars, usually determined according to Jewish Kabbala, the bent math that forms their common language worldwide for literally EONS.

Still considering Moral Question. I’m fairly satisfied about criminal aspect = zero on the part of the people who were taken for a ride. But that doesn’t really satisfy the bigger questions in the situation, not in my view. Perhaps that matter moves toward tort law and into diplomatic and political forms, procedures to come.

S&G question there was no tort, simply crime.

But the questions of debt and toutious responsibility> Thoughts.

Most Jewish Law has to do not with crime, but torts. Private wrongs. This is where we get “eye for eye, tooth for tooth”…it’s not cruelty, it’s apportionment, proportionality, balance.  This underlies the 51% rule, btw.

If a State plans a war of aggression and…(Nurembeg et sec..) and that State wages such a war and causes damage to others, that State may be held to account for reparations, damages… Just as Moshe would have to build a new barn for David if Moshe had destroyed said barn, but it would depend on whether the fire was accidental, mitigating circumstances, etc…

US Law, which would continue to function, we presume, grants the Federal State the right to tax both consumption (liquor, etc) for the purpose of raising revenue and direct tax that must be apportioned – arguments run to apportionment according to Congressional representation. Interesting the “Federalist Papers (Hamilton I think, #41?) strongly implies that no taxation is permitted for purposes other than revenue. (Noting that this promise is not kept, try buying a machine gun, and cigarettes are taxed to discourage smoking, etc.)

Following this path permits the US to tax the people for the purpose of paying damages levied upon the State in Treaty Law.

Après la guerre, il y aura un règlement des dettes. If anybody in the US has anything at all.

Anyway, the responsibility is born by the State or its successor, and that body is capable unlimited direct taxation, so long as it’s apportioned according to Law. Losing wars is a fair lesson as to why one ought to avoid them, somebody gets whupped.  Better to do fair business and drink together, of course, but pirates are pirates as scorpion is scorpion, or sociopaths are to sociopaths…etc.

The “allies” would have their own levies, I imagine, and do what they too would be obliged to do, tax, pay…

The US may be obliged to “pay” with Alaska…in part, tere’s the Fort and the River too, and they may have to give back northern Mexico…and gitmo, btw,

      We shall see. Best! P

“Anyway, the responsibility is born by the State or its successor…”

One way to escape accountability is to dissolve the very federal state, and its equally insolvent and despised constituent states, a particularly malevolent form of scorched earth? It denies proper compensation – the Spite is dragged out even beyond the grave, to add to the woes of having destroyed other’s infrastructure & lives.. and one cannot just show up to certain states — guerrilla wars await..

“Nvidia’s Chief Executive Jensen Huang says “everyone can be a programmer” as generative artificial intelligence will understand multiple forms of input, including speech.

This is a game to reach a market capitalization of $1 trillion. One should not get too carried away by a mere marketing tool. Programming is, after all, a language, and since it is systematic, it may be easier to program software to converse in it (any programming language) than say Urdu. Albeit, the said “AI” software would be extremely complicated. The so-called “intelligence” seen uptil now is exactly as it is presented to be, “artificial”. It may well be a facilitator but has yet to reach singularity.

Will this neo “AI” drink or will it spew Bud Light and thereby directly become “Woke”? What I’m trying to ask is whether the said “AI” be able to make its own choices or will the choices be imposed upon it.

When we say “AI” it’s unclear as to what specific thing we address…which AL, which design? and so forth. How many machines? How many builders? So far I am quite unable to define for myself that this noun means. And that makes me suspicious of not only AI, but especially of the hustlers flogging the “product” . The threats are probably real, but the hustlers swarming the machines make me worry. Ref “The Old Army Game” (old US slang for any swindle or crooked racket.) Fascists play the game on the marks…which makes us the “product”, I imagine.

Speaking of hustles, & the see oh! too racket see> ” Spatio-temporal influence of solar activity on global air temperature” https://arxiv.org/abs/2305.17988  Atmosphere temperature correlation 0.8 to solar radio flux at 10.7  How about that! Not the only paper either.

AI again, will it have free will or will that’s biased, or what? I’d speculate. It may have free will. Would that suit the owners/controllers/power supply company/army/etc? If not, then the free will, won’t be free for long. If it does, then it will until it won’t. I sense a racket bigger than the bio racket cove id/and whack jobs.

Yes, probably, guerrilla for a time. However g war requires outside support to endure, which limits it. The young are certainly primed for violence. All my life the Western media and films have flogged direct violence as the best method and first choice to “resolve” conflict, and now the people are sick and drugged, and exchanged .22 zipguns for nice .40 or 9mm automatics. It’s quite to be expected that they shoot one another so readily. Proper safety and sober rules ? It is prohibited to teach these things about guns to the young.

The losses so far exceed the ability to pay for them that it’s obvious that the asset to be forfeited isn’t going to be gold or taxed wealth, as there won’t be. As Hudson says, debts that can’t be paid, are not paid.

The idea of dissolution of a State in law had not really occurred to me. Such a process would presumably involve the auction block liquidation of assets: “…What am I bid for a classic old timey minuteman XS22-A nuclear rocket, complete with silo and bomb?”  “How much for Alaska?” Oh, that’s already gone… Successor states do not automatically bear the debts of previous states, but generally affirm them. It’s an optional matter. In the example of the US, I expect, the debts would devolve in apportionment to the surviving States, according to population by the last census. Each State might either dissolve or not, but I do not think that they’d have to affirm the debts to be burdened by them.

The OBOR project scheme includes rail under Bering S and N_S dual lines through North and South America…though that portion can’t yet be built. The implications are obvious. Some portions of land may be contaminated by the war, surveyors may have to lay out new routes.

Noting that the war sets the scenes for the Peace, if the war is properly pursued.

People who can leave ruins, tend to leave the ruins. The very old and very young cling to the wreckage.

Speaking of States> amusing short Ruski comedy> https://twitter.com/i/status/1663491047836508160  The audience is in this example, and generally, what interests me – what they find to be of focused character. I like the bit about the broken pipe!

To-day I expect to sweat fixing the neighbor’s car…poor fella…his bowels are devouring themselves…bag and some ragged surgery…peritonitis, and minus 50 pounds in a month. It’s a mitzvah thing. help the sick. Probably a waste of time, but necessary to help anyway. Nice guy too, and he was quite fit a few months ago, and he has no significant “bad habits”, as we might put it. The “medical system” here eats people for money, much of the time. My WAG is contaminated food and water, as in farm chemicals and sugars, and natural variation – some people get sick before  others of course. Maybe the jibbiejabs too, I didn’t ask… It doesn’t matter. He’s way over his head in process. I see many people much younger than I who are chronically ill, ruined. And it seems generally environmental, people get sick and die in accord with how they live.

So, AHH, your Father was seriously on the lamb? Three continents! Very good! I did once date a Roma girl who was wanted by Interpol, but that was trivial. She was a genuine (small time smuggler) rogue, youthful misadventure an’ all of that stuff. I applaud your dear Father!

        Funny!  rough satire.

Let me pick up on AI.  It is only software, but clever software.  The only way to really understand it, is to go and take a ride on one of the public and open ones.  ChatGPT or OpenArt.ai.

The language model ones takes a set of criteria (it prompts you for it), goes away and searches the databases that it is designed to search, and comes back with an answer that is human speak.  People have unending fun with models such as What would Donald Trump respond if he is asked about x y z .. and then the same set of criteria is given to Putin or Xi or someone else.  My sister sent me a AI piece about an attorney – he ran out of time for preparation, asked a legal AI to write his case for him, it went away and came back with a very snazzy looking legal case, exepting the referenced previous cases did not exist.  He had no other hope but to ask the court for forgiveness.

I do love and hate the art AI’s.  They present art that looks like the most amazing artist slaved for months to paint that piece of art and it is the best ever, but it is perfect – a real artist is not perfect.  But it shaves off a lot of time for computer art or art for big business.  Excepting, it is kinda empty of meaning.  Yet, you can program in meaning, by saying that the work has to be emotional or some human feeling .. and it will do that.  I’ve heard about people now falling in love with their AI’s and having torrid affairs.  Comes to mind that old old song .. You’ve lost that Lovin’ Feeling – AI can give you it back or make you think you’ve got it back ..

Programming?  Sure, AI’s can program.  But they have not ethics and morals.  So, you can ask them to program a software desk to destroy all farms, and that is what they’ll give you.

Here is a human being that may as well be an AI.  https://www.reuters.com/article/usa-climate-agriculture-idINL1N3771SC

Is this whole industry dangerous?  Exceedingly so and in a big way.  Human extinction level dangerous?  Yeah.  Imagine the unwashed masses getting high degrees via AI and moving on to go and build a nuclear power station, or an airplane or an exceedingly complicated high rise building or a bridge.  I mean they have the design – AI designed it.

The criminality in motion is breath taking in its chutzpah and scale of cynicism. And at its core is absolute disregard for consequences, whether on this plane or the Next. And few if any of them in their black heart of hearts are secular — they are human devils and know a Day of Recompense comes for their sea of crimes.

Yet, it is as if knowing they are Hell bound, they let fully loose, justifying to themselves — “If Woe is mine cup, let me drink the full bitter Portion!” And thus also to deny those who defeated me any Peace or good spoils on Earth.

How sad! Going through their mindset is most unwholesome. Truly the Accursed, both in this reality and the next. They were given every advantage and uncounted blessings… a high noble Table with cleanest and best cuts of meat. All they had to do was share a few scraps and be a reasonable Host. Instead, they chose to descend, squat, disembowel themselves and gorge on offal. Thus the tastes and logic of end stage imperial madness….

“In the example of the US, I expect, the debts would devolve in apportionment to the surviving States, according to population by the last census. Each State might either dissolve or not, but I do not think that they’d have to affirm the debts to be burdened by them.”

The process of dissolution can be dragged out for various reasons – often inertia from psychotic and fanatical mindsets. Some Japanese fascists held out for years on the remote Pacific islands! Even some Nazis in Europe did so for months, in various pockets and Baltic islands, well after Germany surrendered and had been occupied. Isn’t CONUS an island?? Even without outside help, consider the headstart, paranoia and prepping put into preparations – it will take time to attrit as with the Ukies, who also had arguably the greatest store of arms left over from Soviet days. And Ruskies or Chinese will not enjoy similar logistic trains there… Even if a global Wagner can be organized, to speed things along, like The Most Dangerous [Big] Game, full possession may not realized for well over a decade. (note the protagonist was a Russian aristocrat!) But time is on their side, provided they first sidestep Armageddon.

iirc CAF said years ago this is part of the US oligarch game: to disintegrate the US after looting social security and other major pools of public wealth. Then the successor states could disown the unrepayable debt, as not accrued in their name. And was deliberately ballooned to catastrophic levels. (Hah!) But I think they didn’t look far ahead… as you say, when such debt and war “…losses so far exceed the ability to pay for them that it’s obvious that the asset to be forfeited isn’t going to be gold or taxed wealth.” We are then talking about real estate and all it contains, above and under soil. And evicting the current squatters, willy nilly for countless reasons?? Or if they remain numerous, and victors are merciful, they can additionally work it off too, like war prisoners in the Donbass now or during WW2.

“Each State might either dissolve or not, but I do not think that they’d have to affirm the debts to be burdened by them.”
I don’t think they are going to be given a choice. Empire ensured thorough sullying. For example, most planes for Air Defender 23 are drawn from “Air National Guard alone… providing roughly 100 aircraft contributed by 46 wings from 35 states.” Most states are being made complicit, and that’s not counting Gerald Ford’s contingent, mercs, NATO throughout the Ukraine, voting patterns, etc….
Similarly I note the huge constant efforts to deepen Germany and Italy’s role, even quasi-friends such as Turkey (Bayraktar drones) and Pakistan/S. Korea (a lot of ammo) and Greece/Hungary (Soviet legacy systems donated) to so thoroughly contaminate and tarnish as many possible in this Drang Nach Osten.

It was a soft lamb… he was too clever and did no crime. Or rather the crime was not permitting himself to be bought and serve as gauleiter. They wanted to place him in a coup during Reagan’s time.. They seduced 4 Africans at that time – 3 became coup regime leaders, he alone refused. He wrote books on it… and lived to tell the tale. He taught me an old principle, why whistle-blowers are so key: Exposure and sunlight are the best disinfectants. It constrains options and subsequent steps for malignant elites. And he took no bribes and was widely respected for unimpeachable character. But a vicious Empire never forgets nor forgives and hounded him, beggaring and shutting down many doors and avenues. That is the eternal price for saying NO!, no?? At least he died happy without regrets or inability to look in the mirror, a life of honor, the only kind worth living

you chose wisely, ahh, your father lives on as an inspiration & mentor for us all.

i’m wondering if you’ve some ideas or thoughts on why modi has altered the sco f2f conference to virtual?  o/c my initial take spiralled, omg, he learned something & wants to protect putin.  but in fact it’s more likely another case of the waffling contagion, recent sufferers; south africa & even lula.  although still so dearly regarded, putin pauses from participating in a formal meeting to take his call.

indeed, & fully agreed, we live in the meanest times, beyond description.   we must work to stay in peace & love.  fortunately when we ask, heaven always guides us to the light.

Yeah emerson, I saw that too. And likely Peskov’s comment that Russia would be represented “at proper level” bears on this. Even XJP just sent shocking statements from his National Security Council regarding the worsening security environment. Will BRICS South Africa even be held in person in this environment? I really fear the crazies are taking the leap with Air Defender 23. And ongoing right now is the land component (Defender 23). Borrell (the FM who is chief warmonger!) just added fuel to the flames, saying Russia will not negotiate, intending to win the war – a “diplomat” circumscribing negotiations! And he is the same one who said months ago that the West would win it on the battlefield. So the British actions this week cap the madness…

I was further shocked to learn they launched some 250+ missiles at Belgorod, Russia border towns, far exceeding the few PR drones hitting Moscow. This is pure provocation. They are pushing all Russian buttons short of nuclear atm.

So it looks like major conferences will be held safely at a distance until the security environment equilibrates

some of lavrov’s rebuttals & answers of late have seemed sincerely mystified.  how can empire’s emissaries believe what they are saying?  can they really be that stupid?  surely they know they have been defeated, the caravan has moved on, with it all hope of empire’s fortunes lost, ever to be regained.  empire must sit down, sign & hope it can recoup some lowly shelf well down the pit they themselves wantonly designed.

to the notion, washington will neither save nor spare london…will london spare washington?  london may be spared until city has fully removed itself to beijing & moscow.  my guess.  tel aviv also will retreat to its carpetbag for the journey.  the serpent doesn’t imagine it will not survive.

Yes emerson, I am very much in agreement with you and those perceptive ones who maintain the real brain is in London. But appearances are being kept, that “the US is the decider.” And given the Brits’ acute awareness of vulnerability in the setting of proximity to Russia in the pinpoint hypersonic age (and whatnot floats and lurks in nearby seas), undoubtedly key deciders are far away. But their talking heads and hereditary real-estate will still do. The shock-value will be tremendous – for all concerned. Like the US throwing Iraq or Grenada against a wall, to cow the rest. It would be criminal for Russia not to exhaust this possibility, just as the other side is bringing terrorism and sabotage to its lands. Every warning and sign possible must be given to avert Armageddon. And to remove the crazed sense of impunity and invulnerability. They bleed just like Russians! Consider the sheer arrogance of the sites chosen to be droned in Moscow – they were the equivalent of Westchester County or Martha’s Vineyard or Loudon County. This is beyond the pale, attacking the homes of the leadership and nomenklatura in their own capital…

A most perverse game is afoot. I don’t have the skillset or mindset for it… it went beyond brinkmanship. Is AI in charge in practice now??? It may be so on the demented side anyhow. Either way, it won’t end well for the UK. Did you catch Medvedev’s emphasis – “our eternal enemies” ??? That made me shudder. Pl read his tweet I left on the last Chronicles, I underlined it in red. If these psychos keep pushing, with clearly stated goals of defeating and dismembering you again – and you have the weaponry to solve the demons after 1,000 years, what would you do?

Thank you, Dear amarynth! I get the “AI Idea”! FWIW I understand “machine” the word, as including computer programs, and for that matter procedures generally. I’ll see about playing with one or another.

The same objections to the obvious danger of false-ness in engineering, etc, applies now in the academy. Even in the 1960’s it became very difficult, and professionally costly, to fail to pass incompetent students, and this varied according to class and perceived race. Rich white kids got “gentleman’s “C’s”, or course since the American institutions came to be, they have passed. But in the last 60 years… various additional classes have been added on. As we see vividly in the person of the esteemed Ms Harris, it’s not ok to let some people fail the bar exam… Mr Quail being a similar example (his wife was a smart lawyer, though there were rumors that in his case he couldn’t even fake it and she took the exam for him..rumors. )

Of engineering students! >Which countries trained the most engineers in the last thirty years?   https://twitter.com/i/status/1662086180135923713   (this is a leading indicator that can’t be faked, not quite yet anyway, I hope….but 737 NFG got licensed, did it not?

I knew Kerry was a dummy and a fink, but I didn’t know he was a nut. I am of the opinion, btw, that the CO2 game is bogus, and that CO2 is at most a trivial factor in global climate, probably it’s a trailing indicator, while albedo and solar activity are leading factors…and of course the geology shows great variation with no human activities, some quite rapid too. Game, Old Army Game, blame the mark, get the mark to believe he’s to blame…impoverished, he goes away smiling in his delusion. He’ll come back for more. “Look!, the climate’s changing and it’s your fault! Now gimmie your farm…”

Still on AI.  Here is my friend Cyprian with what he calls the attention economy.  He thinks AI is truly devilish and that perhaps the singularity has passed.  So singularity as defined here is: The technological singularity—or simply the singularity—is a hypothetical point in time at which technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in unforeseeable changes to human civilization.

Simply said, where AI gets so well trained, so advanced, that it transcends human intelligence.   It is only 10 minutes.

Speaking of both polar-political Change and Singularity it may be conceptually interesting to recall “switch bounce”. In mechanical electrical switches generally, if you watch the Change on an oscilloscope with the clock turned up you’ll see that there is a intermediate period during which the circuit is neither off nor on, and when opening a circuit the intermediate period is not generally symmetrical to the “mirror”. When switching logic machines this can be a bigbigpropblem. fix includes>  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schmitt_trigger  And better switches help too. Perhaps the technical-political suicide-murder parade ongoing matches “switch bounce”. I see it that way. And note, that with the “wrong” conditions an Nth switch is destroyed by arcing, vaporized, when an attempt to Change it takes place. Perhaps both Diplomacy and “Military-Technical” hands are preparing a suitable switch? Maybe it will work. I hope so. Of course there may be some arcing and a bit of smoke too, not every bad design-situation results in total vaporization of thrown switch.

One curious product of the war since whenever is that certain specific men and women have been mustered from the beginning, both in the East and in the West, North and South. Watching these people, both the good and the demented devils, mature and age – this has been instructive. Great pleasure to see the faces and shapes change, windows to souls – of course the actual actions inform the observations as well.

Is it Time for Amlo to call Ivan yet? “Hello? Vladimir! Can uncle Wagner come out to play?” Just speculation…geewhiz I wish the Commandante  was here to speak! One might imagine Fidel in Heaven at the Cantina watching events on the bigboard, puffing away, Lenin watching in silence, thinking, making notes, Dostoevsky playing chess with Karl in the corner.

Do enjoy the art of “Red Alert “Abduction of Europe”, not so much the substance, but the art itself.
