  I wanted to highlight a link manderson dropped in the last Chronicles thread. Craig Murray does a dive into the idea that the USA has been planning this war, and is not at all surprised by how things have progressed. That is certainly my stance as well.
  
  I’m not fully on board with Murray’s notion that the USrael win a long war of attrition against Iran. Things have been planned out, but I think there are significant miscalculations. I think we are looking at the end of empire. We shall see.

  I’m putting this in between the sections on China and Russia, because I don’t agree with Jiang’s conclusions on either one. I’ve been a bit leery of him, even though I posted a few short videos where I agreed with the basic premise of what he was saying. If he thinks Russia and Israel win big and China loses from the Iran war, then I think that maybe, just maybe, he’s controlled opposition trying to drive a wedge into a strategic partnership. At the very least, I don’t agree with him. Weird that his arguments are so reasonable but his conclusions are not.

    The man is a Yalie, trained and lifted up by NGO’s from college onwards, wrote a book that had an entire chapter glazing Israeli “innovation”, wrote articles bashing China all the time and promoting private NGO involvement, has mysterious gaps in his personal history that he hand waves with sympathy posing – “I was an alcoholic, and now found the love of my life!”, and now pops up suddenly with no academic or teaching history credentials at schools promoted by NGO’s and people he knew from his career involvement with said NGOS. He’s Gordon Chang + Jordan Peterson for the youtube cult/conspiracy crowd and getting unnaturally boosted in western controlled media by algorithm. He fits the entire “confusionist” playbook typified by the CIA/western clique, with a Chinese face to click the DEI checkbox- even if he isn’t directly trained or funded, he’s a Slavoj Zizek, a Chomsky, a western promoted “intellectual” designed to obscure actual material, real history, etc and point people into nonsense directions and scapegoats that is “out of our hands”/there is nothing to be done, imperial doomerism and defeatism.
    
    He needs to stop being promoted or even mentioned, in every space. As I said in the other thread, F this clown.

Solid arguments followed by a wrong conclusion is a typical propaganda technique to confuse people. I should say, not only are his conclusions wrong here, but they are insidiously wrong. Not good.

        At first flush he was interesting. After that the contradictions took over….and one recognizes the old army game…the confidence man. This type of character is a basic archetype in American history. Melville’s last book is titled “The Confidence Man”… and the character is basic in Burroughs….and in W.C. Field’s films…and continues…in fact the orange clown is a confidence man…so are most prominent people in zone west, the imperial zone.

        ditto, dear crone! i remember the first presentation i watched contradicted research friends teaching history, particularly aztec/mayan, have been researching for years. jiang’s off-hand, wrong headed cursory assumptions contradict everything one friend, fluent in aztec, has been researching & publishing for 3o yrs; especially in regards to aztec sacrifice. it’s as if he hadn’t touched any research material & took a tourist brochure @ face value.

        It is clear to me that prophecy is being forced to do a lot of work here. I remember back in 2004/2005 something like that when I first saw the news that a Texas cattleman was going to be raising red heifers in Israel to fulfill prophecy. 20+ years of fakery just to get evangelical xians in the USA in a tizzy.         I want to boost this as a remedy to the clown- Warwick Powell, who actually does work and have roots in China that he regularly accesses and doesn’t talk shit on, and interview here actually makes good analysis and conclusions based on solid material evidence and history, not “trust me bro” secret handshake bs. His TIO talks series on youtube, his substack, and his interviews in general are always interesting and informative, if a bit academically dense.
