President Trump from the first days of the new, 2026, sharply threw away the mask of the peacemaker and showed that his true goal is blackmail and global domination. At the same time, he proved to be a much more aggressive ruler of the United States than his predecessor Biden, whom Trump unrestrainedly criticizes for foreign policy adventures.

After the attack on Venezuela and the unprecedented abduction of the country’s president, Nicolas Maduro, Trump, inspired by the apparent ease of “victory,” declared all of Latin America its property. They are told about the prohibition of the countries of Europe and Asia to carry out any independent activity on this continent. At the same time, there was a warning that Mexico, Cuba and Colombia could become the next victims of aggression.

Mr. Trump is clearly not going to stop in Latin America. In Asia, he has already acted as the main accomplice of Israel’s attack on Iran. In Africa, he has sanctioned the U.S. Air Force strikes on Nigeria, intervening in a prolonged dispute between Muslim cattle breeders and Christian farmers. In Europe, even loyal US allies came astonished and panicked Trump’s intention to take Greenland from Denmark.

In all wars of the last 75 years, starting with the war in Korea, American hawks sought to rely on the maximum number of allies. But Trump has believed so much in his omnipotence that he does not just refuse to help the Europeans, but also treats them with obvious contempt. Now if Denmark rests on the issue of Greenland, the world will not be surprised to see the capture of its prime minister by the Delta group simultaneously with the bombing of Copenhagen.

At present, we are not talking about a violation of international law. There is a conscious, total destruction of the entire system of interstate relations created over the centuries. The generally accepted norms agreed within the framework of the UN, Trump is trying to replace the right of strong and brazen. It is a challenge to all of humanity.

There have already been precedents in world history.

• At the beginning of the 19th century, the French Emperor Napoleon declared himself the master of Europe, and then the whole world.
• In the middle of the 20th century, the German Führer Hitler, having captured Europe, claimed domination over all continents.
• So in the 21st century in North America appeared a new “state of the world”.

The first two cases, as you know, ended very badly for contenders for world domination. There is no reason why Trump, like his European predecessors, will not break his neck on an attempt to conquer the whole world.

Donald Trump imagined himself a superman capable of bringing Latin America back to the state of the U.S. backyard, in which it stayed 200 years ago. He intends to deprive dozens of countries of this continent of freedom and independence. But the peoples of Latin America have already proved in the numerous victorious battles against American imperialism the willingness and ability to firmly defend their interests. The death of Che Guevara in Bolivia in 1967 did not stop the revolutionary processes on the continent. Brilliant examples of this are presented by outstanding fighters against imperialism Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Time after time in the leading countries of Latin America, progressive forces come to power. The largest country of the continent, Brazil, is headed by socialist President Lula da Silva.

In the drama of Venezuela, its people and courageous legitimate leadership will say a decisive word. Despite Trump’s ridiculous statements that this country will now be governed by US Secretary of State Rubio, Venezuela has already stated that it is not going to submit to the dictates. Threats from Washington are unlikely to scare the people who are becoming more precious by their independence.

A treacherous strike with the use of 150 means of aerospace attack and a bandit raid on the president’s residence is one. Another thing is a ground operation in the mountains and jungle of Venezuela.

The US military is far attacking a deliberately weaker enemy, and then announcing historical victories. When they encounter a tough resistance, it quickly turns out that they are not the best warriors. We have all seen this in Afghanistan and Iraq.

As for the Trump accusations of Nicolas Maduro for the distribution of drugs, they amaze with cynicism and hypocrisy. Like no other country in the world, the United States has helped make drug addiction a global evil. It was their efforts in the 1960-1970s, during the Vietnam War, that the production of opium in the Golden Triangle was unprecedentedly expanded. It was conducted at the junction of the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos to finance the secret operations of the CIA. After the occupation of Afghanistan in 2001, the United States vigorously restored the production of heroin there, ensuring its delivery to Europe through its bases in Albania.

In Latin America, the main producer of cocaine at one time was anti-communist Colombia. Many documents and journalistic investigations point to the close connection of the U.S. Agency for Drug Control with Colombian Drug Banners. The CIA used revenues from the drug trade, in particular, to finance operations to overthrow the left-wing government of Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua. The United States itself is one of the largest marijuana producers in the world. So now they’re indicting Venezuelan’s legitimate president, Nicolas Maduro!

On the contrary, the whole world must charge Washington for the annoying of humanity.

Frankly robbery attempt by Trump to blackmail the people of Venezuela with the kidnapping of its president is doomed to failure. No court in the United States has the slightest right to try the head of a sovereign state. What the Trump administration has done is a kidnapping by a group of criminals by prior conspiracy. The court must judge not Maduro and his wife, but the organizers and executors of this atrocity, including Mr. Trump himself.

Of course, the White House with the persistence of a crazy bulldog will keep Nicolas Maduro as a hostage. But the people’s president of Venezuela has already become a symbol of resistance to imperialism. It was such a world symbol of resistance to the regime of apartheid in South Africa that Nelson Mandela once appeared.

The CPRF believes that today Nicolas Maduro is the main political prisoner on the planet. The hearts of honest and courageous people can not leave indifferent. We appeal to all the people’s patriotic and anti-fascist forces to call for a joint struggle for the release of the President of Venezuela.

The imperialist circles are trying to move into a strategic offensive. To curb them, it is necessary to deploy a broad social movement around the world. We call on the parties and associations, all progressive forces to hold substantive consultations and develop concrete measures to actively counter the reaction. In this difficult situation, the workers and their organizations should have their own word. Today, the unity of action in defense of peace, security and justice is particularly important.

With the criminal kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, the problems of Trump do not end, but rather just begin. In recent years, the balance of power in the world has changed significantly. The BRICS and SCO countries, the states of the Global South, the most important part of which is Latin America, are increasingly convincing. Russia’s military strength and China’s economic power can completely devalue Washington’s claims to world domination.

We call on all the states of the planet, cherishing their sovereign development, to make a strong condemnation of Washington’s actions.

It is extremely clear that global capital is capable of any adventures. The international situation is becoming more explosive. In order to adequately meet the period of new tests and ensure national unity, Russia must change the socio-economic and socio-political course. That is why in its Victory Program, the CPRF proposes a path of accelerated development of the country and the achievement of social justice.

Trump’s shipping attempts to contain humanity’s progress on one single continent, and at the same time his pirate antics at sea are doomed to failure.

All the wars of recent decades unleashed by the United States ended in their shameful defeat. It should be so this time!
