Highlights from the Russian Defense Ministry Press Briefing on progress of the special military operation over the past week:

◾️Russian forces have liberated five populated communities in the special military operation zone in the past week

◾️Ukraine has lost over 1,575 troops in the area of responsibility of Russia’s Battlegroup West in the past week

◾️Ukrainian troops have sustained roughly 445 casualties in the zone of responsibility of Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr over the past week

Down in Global South lands, the empire is busy.

-The Peruvian President, Dina Boluarte was ousted. Ecuador has offered political asylum to her. She was never really a popular president and we will see if the the Chancay Port and the rest of the relationship with China survives the current political destabilization.

-With Argentina being bailed out by the US today (See the thread comment) and given a swap facility, western influence increases in the region. I really don’t know who owns Argentina now but will take a bet that it is the IMF.

-The Venezuelan government requested an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council “in light of the serious escalation of aggression and the unprecedented U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean.”

-Brazil is continually fighting lawfare and there is another brewing disagreement with the legal fraternity and Meta (Facebook), who refuses to share information about online threats to Minister Flávio Dino. Meta says they cannot give this information as the accounts are not in Brazil but in the United States, Portugal, and Argentina. Threats of this nature is a crime in Brazil and Brazil argues that the crime is within their national territory. Flávio Dino says he started receiving these threats after voting to convict former president Jair Bolsonaro and seven allies in a case concerning the attempted coup when LULA was elected.

-Also in the Global South, South Africa is still trying to investigate a case where their Envoy to France fell to his death out of a 22nd floor hotel room where the windows cannot open. He needed to testify in yet another commission of enquiry into the government’s outright theft of state resources – rampant State Capture. In the meantime the fight with the US continues about tariffs and publically South Africa ‘proudly’ shows off their resistance to the US, while privately begging for no more tariffs. At this time +- 100,000 jobs are lost in a country where the youth unemployment rate is 60% with a staggering crime rate. The issue here partially is the apartheid laws (called BEE, Black Empowerment Legislation), where now, young white South Africans may not be employed in a ratio more than +- 5% in any business. Elon Musk quite rightly says he cannot roll out Starlink because he is white. After 30 years Black Empowerment is so enfeebled with any funds simply captured by the state. They passed apartheid laws for the young white males, into the future. It has gone way beyond Black Empowerment or historical corrective action or redress. It is simply rampant racism protected by law. We see very little of this in the media. As in the case of zionist-israel, there are two media streams: One for internal consumption and another for external breast beating and hubris-filled so-called resistance against empire at BRICS. There is also very little investment because the laws on seizing anything, expropriation without compensation, have been strengthened. South Africa is going the way of Argentina but Uncle Sam will not bail them out unless it can own them. Neither will BRICS, because in the decision making fraternity, they know very well what is happening. Now and again China tosses them a bone.

The Global South and the move toward multipolarity has work to do.

And now the Knesset has voted. The Israeli government have approved the Gaza ceasefire. All cabinet ministers voted in favor except Smotrich and Ben Gvir. Change the whole timeline carefully constructed.

Iran has just sent out a diplomatic note: The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned the international community to remain vigilant against the “deception and breach of commitments” by the Israeli regime, following the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Pakistan has just bombed Afghanistan, calling it counterterrorism airstrikes in Kabul tonight.

The US just issued new sanctions on more than 90 individuals, companies, and ships in Iran, involved in the sale and transport of Iranian crude oil and liquefied gas. 10 individuals, 49 companies, and 34 ships.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the move aims to “degrade Iran’s cash flow” and disrupt funding for groups threatening the US and its allies. The State Department also sanctioned around 40 additional actors tied to Iran’s energy trade, including major petrochemical buyers.

The ceasefire between zionist-israel and the people in the Gaza strip is now in effect.

This is welcome! It is so welcome and just perhaps we can wake up one of these mornings and there is nothing about dead babies, starving and burning families, bombing etc., As we see from the coverage, all gates into Gaza will open and distribution of food and necessities for life will commence under UN supervision, which worked well. At least the Gazans were not starving and emaciated. Gazans were out in the streets rejoicing over the past hours, but muted. Kids were jumping and dancing. As usual, zionist-israel took its last opportunity for now and bombed a little and droned a little, but less than normal.

Overall, the commentary from those of us who stayed with this and continued commenting on the genocide in our world is ecstatic, but only for thinking that Gaza will get a break. We know that the zionist-israelis have not changed, and the objectives remain the same. We also see this in the Israeli press. The level of skepticism remains very high. As the violence in the Gaza strip reduced, violence in the West Bank increased in quantity and ferocity.

For now, we may pray that what is left of the Palestinians will not be murdered, that food and medical attention will flow in, and Egypt reportedly has machinery standing by to start recovery operations.

Trump was performing to Fox News: “The important thing is for people to love Israel again. I told Bibi that Israel cannot fight against the whole world. He understands this.”

That horse has bolted, and Trump’s MAGA contingent that is in revolt will not be recovered in any meaningful way.  Zionist-israel will be hated for generations, and the perpetrators of genocide must be brought before the correct courts of law.

This will not be easy. Hamas is standing strong, and zionist-israel is trying to move the goalposts as we have seen them do over the years.

This is what it looks like over the following number of hours.

At 12 noon, all Israeli military operations will cease.  (This should now be in effect).

At 12 noon, 5 access roads to the Gaza Strip will be opened for humanitarian aid.  (This should now be happening.)

At 3:00 PM Tel Aviv time, the Knesset will convene to approve the agreement.  (Here is the point of possible perfidy.)

At 4:00 PM Tel Aviv time, the Israeli security cabinet will ratify the agreement.  (Here is a further point of possible perfidy.)

The perfidy has indeed started, according to statements by Netanyahu’s office, stating that the agreement as a whole will not start until the Knesset approves it.  We are accustomed to every peace agreement being broken by zionist-israel.  They have just knotted up the start time, despite negotiations and so-called guarantees.  We saw and are still seeing the same in Lebanon.  Reports are coming in that there are ongoing airstrikes on Gaza City and environs, on Palestinians trying to return to their non-existent homes.

Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi:  It appears that Netanyahu is trying to undermine the ceasefire agreement even before its implementation, by retracting the prisoner lists in an attempt to sabotage the understandings. This move reveals his intentions regarding other critical issues, including withdrawal, reconstruction, and the reopening of crossings.

On Friday at 4:00 PM Tel Aviv time, the IDF will begin the first phase of troop withdrawal to the “Yellow Line.”

US President Donald Trump will arrive in Israel and speak at the Knesset on Sunday.

On Sunday-Monday, HAMAS will release all hostages, both alive and deceased.

In exchange, Israel will release 2,000 Palestinian prisoners by Monday.

24 hours after the release of all hostages, on Tuesday/Wednesday, both sides will begin negotiations to prepare for the second phase of the IDF withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

Almost all commentators consider that a strike on Iran is now imminent, as soon as the dust of the peace agreement settles.  Our War and Genocide thread will continue for the foreseeable future while we have a Department of War on our planet.  Pray and let these small steps for today be sufficient unto the day.

OK, I’ve said all the right things, and I do mean them. This is very fragile.  The theatrical content makes it highly suspect.  Personally, I expect targeted killings of Palestinians will increase as a first step. This is phase I and there is no peace in the Middle East/West Asia as yet. A little disagreement Russia side:

Contacts between representatives of the Putin and Trump administrations are constantly conducted, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov says.   Statements that Anchorage’s momentum has been exhausted are fundamentally wrong, he adds.

There is a serious pause in the dialogue on the Ukrainian settlement, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says.  A new Putin-Trump meeting is not on the agenda, Peskov adds.

Yet, Ryabkov states that the Anchorage momentum has run out, dissipated, and is dead.   “We have a certain building of relations, which has cracked, which is collapsing – the Americans are to blame for this. Now the cracks have reached the foundation.”

It is unusual to see such an uncoordinated,  clashing messages from Russia.  The spokespeople and Ryabkov are usually in tight coordination.

Putin proposes unifying Eurasian logistics projects into single network

“Subsequently, all these and other Eurasian logistics projects could be integrated into a single network with modern electronic services and transportation facilities. This would allow us to exponentially increase the volume of international transportation through our shared region,” Putin said during the Russia–Central Asia Summit.

He also spoke about the enormous economic potential of Eurasia at the summit.  With tens of of MILLIONS living in the region, the opportunities for trade are still basically untapped.

It is a new world, as I did not realize how vast Eurasia is.  But here is a lesson that must be learned by all countries involved in multipolarity.  With Putin’s visit to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, Mr Putin first fixed old outstanding issues.   Russia will provide a legal assessment of the actions of all officials in connection with the AZAL plane crash.  An objective assessment must be made, and the true causes of the AZAL plane crash must be announced.  This is a lesson that must go through to India and Pakistan, as their barking at one another is now too much and boring.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro stated on Wednesday that the latest U.S. strike against a suspected narco-terrorist ship in the southern Caribbean Sea targeted a vessel coming from Colombia with Colombian citizens on board, not Venezuelans.

Petro said in a statement: “There is no war against smuggling; there is a war for oil and it must be stopped by the world.”

The White House has since responded to President Petro’s claims, denying that the ship was Colombian or that it was carrying Colombian citizens, stating in a full statement:

“The USA looks forward to Petro publicly retracting his unfounded and reprehensible statements so that we can resume a constructive dialogue on building a strong and prosperous future for the peoples of the United States and Colombia. Despite political differences with the current government, Colombia remains an essential strategic partner.”

The US wants to put troops in Colombia to target Venezuela.

Hamas and Palestinian Factions agree to Gaza ceasefire plan (Quds News Network – reliable usually)

A formal agreement is set to be signed today, Thursday, in Egypt, with Hamas officially approving the deal.

The agreement includes the immediate opening of five crossings to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, adjustments to the Gaza withdrawal map, and the release of 20 Israeli captives alive in the first phase.

The deal is guaranteed by the U.S., Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, ensuring that attacks will not resume as long as both parties adhere to its terms.

The map has changed – no more zionist-israeli slicing and dicing.  I hear through the grapevine that Netanyahu again tried to last minute impose new demands but the negotiators would not allow it.

The ceasefire will reportedly be signed tomorrow in Sharm El-Sheikh at noon (12:00), and will take effect across the entire Gaza Strip immediatel.

America, Egypt and Qatar have all announced the ceasefire deal at the same time. The mediators announce that tonight an agreement was reached on all the provisions and implementation mechanisms of the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which will lead to ending the war, the release of Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners, and the entry of aid. The details will be announced later.

Russia is decoupling from talks with the US.  The State Duma of the Russian Federation has just denounced the intergovernmental agreement with the United States on the disposal of weapons-grade plutonium.

The Russian government submitted the bill on denunciation. In addition to the agreement, it is proposed to denounce all accompanying documents. In particular, this concerns protocols regulating financing and civil liability for damage, as well as agreements on the disposal of plutonium covered by the agreement through irradiation in nuclear reactors.

I’ve been warning people not to believe what their eyes see as we are under the most massive, devastating and sophisticated brainwashing effort ever!  The first one of this import that we saw, was when Syria fell.  Colin Powell’s little container of ‘weapons of mass destruction’ pales in comparison.  Those days were child’s play.

Anything on Israel must first by default be considered Hasbara.   In the words of Alastair Crooke, there is a New Political Doctrine.  The current campaign is massive, it is incredibly sophisticated and it is designed to change your mind about Netanyahu and Israel.  Trump even announced this.  It is designed to make you believe that Israel is white as snow and never killed even one Palestinian baby and Netanyahu is the saviour of mankind.  If you are not aware, the Hasbara pushers get something like 7,000 dollars a post for pushing their drug – and it is a drug and is being used currently in three schemas.  I will talk about two.

The latest, and who said it first:  The Muslim Brotherhood and the CIA and MI6 create the various Flotillas.  The reason that is proffered is that the tension between Islam and Israel must be kept alive come hell or high water, and this is part of the management, design and roll-out of the Flotillas and it is all the Muslim Brotherhood (which is a dead letter now).  So, I told you about this in a histiographic analysis in a post titled: Disproving the claims that the Zionist entity created, funded, or supported Hamas.  This beautiful piece of distraction comes from Thierry Meissan for one.

This makes edible fodder for the alternatives and those who are in protest against genocide but non-sophisticated.  Break these from supporting the Flotillas, as this is the only way that the average and ordinary person can bring pressure on zionist-israel.   (And it is working; the pressure is being created.)  This is news that even the protestors can believe in.  Of course, Trump, the circus announcer, jumped into it and said Greta Thunberg (whatever you think of her, she is a personality) is a troublemaker.  Therefore, her name is invoked because people generally dislike her.  This is the type of hasbara that is used to create color revolutions and regime change.   It is full-spectrum dominance.  It is not something that you can recognize easily.  You don’t see and feel your own manipulation.  A day or two later, you find yourself believing that the Flotillas are just bad (no matter what they are!), and perhaps zionist-israel has a point.  (They don’t, they are a killing machine).

The first mention of this (and there are two schemas to this hasbara) was when Thunberg and the latest Flotilla started being called the Hamas Flotilla.  Then Thunberg was named a leader of the Hamas Flotilla.  Then, the first press I saw, detailing the second schema (and there may be more schemas), was from Alexander Dugin, who stated that the Sumud flotilla is organized by globalists and Soros.  Globalists and Soros are sailing the Flotillas.  Again, sweet news for the unsophisticated, specifically US Americans because it is there that Netanyahu and his cohorts want to reign in the 8th front of their war.

Seven thousand dollars are being handed out and accepted by people with names.  People that you first would not believe would take the bribe.  Now, hear me out –

The U.S. State Department has circulated a memo to its embassies claiming that up to 5,000 Cuban citizens are fighting in Ukraine on Russia’s side, according to Reuters.

In the letter, Washington alleges that Cuba is now the second-largest “supplier” of foreign fighters to Russia, after North Korea — citing an estimated 1,000 to 5,000 Cubans allegedly taking part in the conflict. The memo also claims that Ukrainian officials have been warning U.S. lawmakers of “increasing recruitment” of Cuban volunteers by Russia — a narrative Washington is now using to rally allies.

The letter’s purpose is to pressure countries into opposing a UN resolution that calls on Washington to lift its decades-long blockade of Cuba. The State Department’s memo provides talking points for U.S. diplomats to lobby allies and undermine support for the vote.

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu

According to U.S. officials, Trump ordered special envoy Richard Grenell to end all negotiations with Maduro and senior Venezuelan officials. Grenell, who had been leading the talks, received the directive during a meeting between Trump and top military leaders on Thursday.

The decision reflects Trump’s frustration over Maduro’s refusal to step down and Venezuela’s rejection of U.S. accusations linking its officials to drug trafficking.

US President Donald Trump says that he has “sort of” made a decision on supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, but stressed that he is not seeking escalation in the conflict, and underscored the need to understand how and where Ukraine would use the weapons.

Putin warned earlier in an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin late on Saturday, that the potential decision by Trump to provide Tomahawks to Ukraine would “lead to the destruction of our relations. At least the positive tendencies that have appeared in these relations.”

So, I guess Trump is “sort of” escalating.

According to the SMO regular and reliable commentators, the skies lit up over Ukraine last evening. The Russian Mod simply says: ❗️ Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with long-range high-precision surface-, sea-, and air-based weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic aerial ballistic missiles, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles against enterprises of the Ukrainian defence industry and the facilities of the gas-power infrastructure that provided their operation.

Here is some detail:

➡️Russian forces carried out nighttime strikes with missiles and drones on Ukrainian defense industry facilities;

➡️Targets included Ukraine’s energy infrastructure tied to the military-industrial complex, drone and HIMARS storage sites, as well as AFU and foreign mercenary positions in 137 locations;

➡️Russian air defenses shot down 4 guided bombs and 145 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours;

➡️Ukrainian losses reached approximately 1,300 personnel in one day as a result of Russian operations.

Tonight, as a result of strikes by Russian military on the enemy’s military infrastructure, the Sparrow Park complex in Lvov was destroyed – one of the largest transportation hubs in western Ukraine.  According to specialized channels, the industrial park was used as a logistics center for storing and shipping goods, including military supplies from Europe to the combat zone.  Footage from social networks shows that a large fire broke out around the entire perimeter of the warehouse as a result of a direct hit.  The facility is located near Lvov International Airport, approximately 170 kilometers from Rzeszów in Poland – a key distribution point for Western aid to Ukraine.
