For some time, we’ve felt our old name, GlobalSouth.co, no longer told the whole story.  We love it but we want to keep chronicling the bigger story, the incredible transformation of the bigger ‘Global South’.  This change has become personal and it could symbolize personal growth for all of us.  It also aligns with the bigger story.  Global South, although in active use everywhere, is beginning to feel like a relic of the past, unable to capture the innovation and pace of change we see every day, growing stronger and stronger towards a sovereign world.

Our new name, https://sovereignista.com/ is how we want to keep looking forward.

As the world changes, we change as well.  Global South will remain in use, but refer to the geographic area and we will start using terms such as Xi Jinping’s Global Governance, Multipolarity, A New World, Civilizational States and such, more frequently.  It also makes me happy, as Global South was and needed to be up to now almost exclusive and I felt sorry for those not in the Global South.  So, I wanted to make space for the wise westerners with a sovereign and a hearty multipolar welcome.

Do take a look at the music concert yesterday in Russia, Intervision. Specifically see the overall love, connections and the cleanliness of the show. The artists brought their best game and Russia opened their hearts and doors! There will be a time when the wars dissipate and my vision, hope and future stance will be similar in sense to that music concert. Those with hearts in the right place are welcome! And then the small Spanish flair at the end of the name – of course, I live in the LAC and for the foreseeable future, will remain right here where people are still people.
