USAID is Alive and Kicking
By Peter Koenig
In case you wondered, did Elon Musk and Donald Trump really kill USAID – the answer is, of course not. A major CIA extension, an instrument for Regime Change operations, a tool to clandestinely fund NGOs to infiltrate discretely government structures for spying and for preparing “Regime Change” operations, or to help create terrorist groups to eventually justifying US intervention – that sort of thing – does not simply disappear because they are “squandering” money.
It is a farce again, another deception of the public, under the Trump-Musk tandem. USAID was abolished by name only. They just moved USAID’s funds and operations into Marco Rubio’s State Department, where it is less visible and equally or even more effective. Marco Rubio is a friend of Regime Change. He would not mind succeeding in Venezuela and Cuba, and certainly in more places in Latin America. For example, why not Panama – to make sure the Canal remains under US custody.
Yes, it would be totally illegal under any international and even US national law. But laws have been superseded by flexible “rules”, the so-called “rules-based order”, adjusted as needed by the reigning elite.
How else would it be possible that the “ruling” west tolerates mass-slaughter, genocide by US-armed Zionist-Israel in Gaza, and gradually throughout the Midde East, to achieve a Greater Israel?
How else would it be possible that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, have become toothless structures, who’s judges resign for fear of reprisals?
Universal Law – which eventually will overshadow anything created by humans for their own, unequal, and unjust benefits – has not yet sunk deep enough into the conscience of human kind.

Marco Rubio is a fast-growing personality within the Trump Administration. He is already slanted, together with JD Vance, as potentially the next US President. Mr. Rubio’s importance in a new MAGA United States is not to be underestimated. MAGA, in fact, refers not just to Making America Great Again, but to Making America to the Great New Empire – MAGNEW. To do so, the Monroe Doctrine needs to be renewed and reinforced, as just one among several rekindled measures.
President James Monroe, in his 1823 annual message to Congress, explained the so-called Monroe Doctrine. It warned European powers not to interfere in the affairs of the Western Hemisphere – which the US considered their territory or hemisphere. Understandably, Washington has always taken a particular interest in its closest neighbors, the nations of Central- and South America.
Equally understandably, expressions of this concern have not always been seen favorably by LAC nations. Not least, because autonomous LAC nations often sense a violation of their sovereignty. This creates an ambiance of resistance towards the northern neighbor.
After several decades of “pause”, this sense of resistance may grow. Considering the idea of LAC as Washington’s “back yard”, may therefore not be welcome everywhere. Therefore, USAID’s secret operation and spy funds may be a welcome gift to Marco Rubio’s State Department. Of course, this affects not only Latin America, but also, and possibly more so, the rest of the world, especially the larger Global South, Africa, and South-East Asia.
Further down the row, is still Trump’s dream to make Canada the 51st US State, to gradually absorb Mexico by US trade rules – and Greenland, well, her population of about 60,000, will eventually cave in to pressure – and US-promised “goodies” (significant flows of money), pulling Denmark, the legitimate owner of the large and resources-rich island, also controlling Arctic water ways – along, to eventually ceding the island.
This would create the Larger North-America, a country larger and potentially richer than Russia. “Greater America” is not a new idea. It was born already some hundred years ago.
Howard Scott (1890-1970) was an American engineer and the founder of the Technocracy Movement. Scott and his associates, were instrumental in proposing the idea of a unified North America, including the US, Canada, Mexico, and Greenland, under a single continental system.
This idea, sometimes referred to as a “North American Technate,” was central to their vision of a technocratic governance structure. See this from The Conversation https://theconversation.com/a-1930s-movement-wanted-to-merge-the-us-canada-and-greenland-heres-why-it-has-modern-resonances-252587.

Indeed, it would have been naïve to believe that Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) would be able to get rid of a major Secret Service Agency’s branch. To the contrary, to make it more efficient, “USAID” was moved to the State Department. An increase of funding of this now less visible agency under the roof of the State Department is likely.
In fact, an increase of funding will be necessary to achieve the impossible dream of a Larger America.
If the term reminds you of another illegitimately growing larger country – Israel – it is not by accident.
