Gaza is starving at its peak, and thirst is crushing high. More than 100,000 people are injured, burnt, with no treatment, covered in sand and foil. There is no shroud; the dead are collected and buried in collected blankets and polythene.

Jenin camp is still besieged, with residents living under constant shellings. Nablus is raided daily; more than 1,000 houses have been demolished in the West Bank. Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is still in jail, and many political prisoners are tortured in Israeli prisons without trial. Hospitals have collapsed, overwhelmed with casualties, and more than 15,000 people are still trapped under rubble, and nobody knows their fate. 39,000 orphaned children have no place to go, left to fend for themselves in the ruins.

Thousands, without identification, are detained in concentration camps, where they are subjected to inhumane conditions. Many elderly women and men have been slaughtered and buried in mass graves, their families left without closure.

South Lebanon is bombed and destroyed daily, with civilians paying the price of the ongoing aggression.

Syria is under the crushing machine of the Zionists, whose occupation continues to wreak havoc on innocent lives. Coastal massacres and abductions are ongoing there, as civilians live in fear.

The Turkish massacre continues in the Kurdish regions, with thousands displaced and killed in brutal attacks. More than 100 airstrikes in a week are devastating Yemen, killing civilians and targeting critical infrastructure, leaving the population struggling to survive in one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

Nothing has stopped yet. The suffering continues, the world watches, and the oppressed remain without justice.

Collateral Murder. Today we think back to the Wikileaks 2007 US military video showing the US forces killed a dozen civilians in Baghdad, including two journalists working for Reuters. This leak gave rise to Julian Assange being tortured and eventually, after years, released, but with proverbial handcuffs on, as he had to plead guilty to get out of jail.

-Today: A total of 112 martyrs have ascended in the #Gaza Strip since dawn today as a result of the ongoing occupation raids. 71 of them ascended in Gaza City alone.

-We can list atrocities daily, one by one, pages full, including a young child cut in two pieces and the combined image of fetuses killed in the womb, and the images of burning tents over the heads of those that have no place to go … forcible displacements, torture; the list goes on.

We can say and lament again, where is the world? Or we can simply breathe and continue.  Last evening, I prepared a simple dinner for us: braised chicken, a simple potato salad, and mixed vegetables. I looked at my tasty and well-presented meal and wished I could hand it to Gaza across the ocean.

Your legal stance for international law falls apart because the law states that if you see a genocide and you do not act, you are complicit.

– Israel announces expansion of IDF operations in Gaza: The troops will move forward to clear the territories and capture extensive territory, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz was quoted as saying by The Times of Israel.

– Israel has bombed an UNRWA clinic sheltering displaced people in Jabalia Camp, northern Gaza Strip. At least 19 people including 9 children were killed.

On the new cease-fire being discussed:

The mediators offered a plan which Hamas accepted.  Hamas offered to free five Israeli prisoners for a cease-fire on the last day of Eid.  Netanyahu scuttled it, saying he wants 10 or 12 and demanded that Hamas lays down arms and leaves.  He assured that they would be allowed to leave safely (famous last words).  In his speech he said: ‘We will ensure security in Gaza and enable implementation of TRUMP PLAN, voluntary immigration plan’. Netanyahu keeps saying in his speeches that the Trump administration was consulted or that they agreed.

Part of these discussions is a plan for future administration of Gaza, the West Bank and the Palestinians. Hamas does not necessarily want to hold on to leadership.

The war continues in all its brutality.

Yemen announced 3 strikes on one of the American aircraft carriers.  “Over the past 24 hours, our forces have engaged enemy warships, including the American aircraft carrier Truman, in the Red Sea on three separate occasions.”
They immediately targeted Ben Gurion Airport again, in the occupied region of Yafa using Zulfiqar ballistic missile. “The operation successfully achieved its objective. ”

We’re not seeing missiles or rockets fly today so far, but the brutal killings in Gaza are continuing. The latest statistic is that 200 children have been killed since Netanyahu broke the ceasefire.

Only a very short while ago, five more children were killed and several others were injured in an attack on a residential apartment in the Sakik building, next to the al-Julani Mosque in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Two were killed and others injured in an Israeli artillery attack targeting a house in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis.

Defense Minister Israel Katz:

“I have instructed the IDF to seize additional territories in Gaza and evacuate the population, to expand the security zones around Gaza in order to protect Israeli communities and IDF soldiers.

The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, launched a barrage of rockets at Tel Aviv on 20 March, marking their first operation in months, in direct response to Israeli massacres in Gaza that have killed at least 710 Palestinians and wounded over 900 in just two days. Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that 70% of the injured are women and children, with many dying due to the lack of medical care, as hospitals struggle under the Israeli regime’s total blockade. Civil Defense crews warn that many remain trapped under rubble, but rescue operations are failing due to a lack of fuel, heavy equipment and humanitarian aid.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces have resumed their ground invasion, retaking the Netzarim Corridor, effectively splitting Gaza in two once again.
