Daily Chronicles

Today, we find ourselves resisting the First War on BRICS in its various salients. We are in madness, in a strategy of chaos from the side of the empire who cannot fight but are singularly talented at fomenting chaos in order to swoop in, brutally kill, grab and gain benefit. The strategy of empire going forward will be one of denial of world development through chaos creation. While the approach has shifted, imperialist aspirations endure.

Daily Chronicles features issues, small or large, that have the potential to change our world. We focus on anti-human systems that have to go and be replaced by more straightforward and honest endeavors aimed at growing food worth eating, doing honest trade, running an honest financial system, healing people, traveling, building places worth living in, creating cool technology, going to space, and learning useful things.

Russia’s UN envoy Vasily Nebenzya: There is a chance that the active phase of the Ukraine crisis could soon come to an end. However, the EU and the UK are completely unreliable negotiating partners and cannot be part of any future agreements on Ukraine.

Nebenzya emphasized that any new agreements must be implemented by a legitimate government in Kiev formed through democratic elections. He stated that the future Ukraine should be a neutral, demilitarized state outside of any military blocs or alliances, and that Ukraine has irrevocably lost the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

Russia hopes that European leaders will return to reality and stop provoking Zelensky into futile resistance.

Netanyahu on Iran: they must NOT have nukes. Israeli PM says he’s dealt huge blow to ‘Iran’s terror axis’. He’s ready to ‘finish the job’ with Trump’s support.

Have you ever noticed that if they do not have anything else to say, if they have to hide their own non-productivity, and a lost war, and genocide, that without fail, they throw out this old Iran trope? If all fails, if they are desperate to stay relevant, Iran is the topic that they use.

2025 BRICS Summit in Rio announced

The BRICS Summit is set for July 6-7, 2025. Under Brazilian leadership, the focus will be on developing payment methods to boost trade.  Meanwhile, former President Trump has threatened 100% tariffs on BRICS if they bypass the US dollar.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

So far the exchange of Palestinian Prisoners in Israeli occupation jails and Israeli captives (now being called war prisoners) is moving along without mishaps.  The Israelis were handed over to the Red Cross after being shown on a stage that Hamas constructed.  The Israelis are bitterly calling this a show, but the reason is that photos can be taken and the state of these captives can be seen.  The three men are, of course, thin but look healthy.   A number of Palestinian freed prisoners needed to be transferred to hospitals as a result of very poor health, malnutrition and signs of torture.   It seems all the buses with Palestinian-freed prisoners have reached Gaza now, welcomed with jubilation.  It is a time of intense stress.  Again, Hamas is acting like a well-oiled machine; they look good, and they do what they need to do.

Hamas made a statement that was displayed behind the stage.  “We say to the whole world, there will be no migration except to Jerusalem. This is our response to all the calls for displacement and liquidation launched by Trump and those who support his approach from the forces of colonialism and occupation.”

Trump is still hoping that he can gin up a war using Israel as his proxy force.  This morning:

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

“Hamas has just released three Hostages from GAZA, including an American Citizen. They seem to be in good shape! This differs from their statement last week that they would not release any Hostages. Israel will now have to decide what they will do about the 12:00 O’CLOCK, TODAY, DEADLINE imposed on the release of ALL HOSTAGES. The United States will back the decision they make!”

China Warns of Retaliation Against US “Bullying”

At the Munich Conference, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi issued a stark warning, vowing to retaliate against US “bullying.” Wang emphasized China’s commitment to peaceful coexistence but asserted it will not tolerate “unjust treatment,” citing trade disputes and technology restrictions as key issues.  Despite the tough stance, Wang called for dialogue on global challenges like climate change and pandemics. This comes amid rising tensions in the Asia-Pacific region, including disputes in the South China Sea and concerns over Taiwan.

Wang Yi stated:  What other country can supply China with as much gas as we need? This is simply not possible, and it is not safe, because some countries are politicizing economic issues and trade issues in order to put pressure on China. We cannot allow this to happen, we are responsible to our people

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Berletic: Trump admin continues US tip-toe to war with China… The US State Dept. has JUST removed explicit rejection of Taiwan independence from its “US Relations with Taiwan” page.

The US “One China” policy recognizes Taiwan as part of China in principle, but in practice the US has increasingly undermined it. Until now, it has fallen short of calling for Taiwan “independence,” a move that would provoke war with China. International law and the “One China” policy of nations around the globe recognize Taiwan as part of China and that China has only one government, the People’s Republic of China in Beijing.

Attempts to support separatism in Taiwan is a direct violation of Chinese sovereignty and territorial integrity under the UN Charter and an act of war.

“Mexico has an international lawsuit against U.S. arms manufacturers and distributors. If they were to designate organized crime groups as terrorists, we would have to expand the lawsuit in the United States,” the Mexican leader said.

Previously, U.S. President Trump said that Mexico “is governed by the cartels,” whom he accuses of causing the deaths of up to 300,000 citizens per year. His National Security Advisor, Michael Waltz, claims that these criminal groups control 30% of Mexican territory.

Sheinbaum has stated that this designation “does not help” in the fight against organized crime in Mexico, where three-quarters of weapons come from the United States, according to an official report from the U.S. Department of Justice published in January.

“What we will never accept is interference and interventionism. We will always defend our sovereignty,” she said, noting that her administration will strengthen regulations to respond to any arms sales by foreigners.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

There was wall-to-wall press coverage today of J.D. Vance’s speech at the Munich Security Conference, chastising the puppets for being puppets. It is a continuation of US policy, but differently done.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

So smooth – Hellfire and Brimstone and then … Trump addressing the expected release of three prisoners being held in Gaza tomorrow at 12pm: “If it were up to me, I would take a very hard stance, but I can’t tell you what Israel is going to do.”

That one we can now count as a legitimate NO.  Let’s hope it all goes well tomorrow.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It is Friday and Yemen is out:

Sanaa, Yemen: Where the only things that fly higher than the flags of the Resistance Axis are the Yafa kamikaze birds and the Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It is always stressful.

As part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal, Al-Qassam Brigades has decided to release the following Zionist war prisoners tomorrow, Saturday, 15/02/2025:

• Sasha Alexander Trubnov
• Sagi Dekel Han
• Yair Horn

Alexander is a dual Russian citizen, and Sagui is a dual American citizen.

In exchange for the three Israeli prisoners, the occupation will release:
• 333 Gazans kidnapped by the Israeli army during the war.
• 36 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment.

This marks the biggest exchange in the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner swap deal.

February 13

File under War on BRICS.  The G7 is past its sell-by date.

And just a little while after I posted that …..

What is alive is a hungry Trumpish Empire wanting to put the empire together again, exactly as it always was, with everyone paying their slice to tribute to the almighty dollar. All of us, every single one will recognize this immediately. In this same speech Trump is not leaving China out. The man wants to be part of a 3-some. He is desperate to go and play with the Big Boys, Putin and Xi. Trump believes that China can help resolve the Ukrainian crisis because it is a very important player on the world stage. Brian Berletic posted a piece today, titled: Beware of Americans with an Outstretched Hand…

Signed today was reciprocal tariffs. You do not need your calculator for this one, but it will increase the cost structure of most products in the world by whatever tariff it carries. But he talks about VAT for example as unfair. So he wants to go down as it looks to me, to a base cost. I’m not sure of that but something like: If we want to charge 5% and pass that off to your consumers, you can charge 5% too and pass that off to our consumers and it will be blissful.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The region does not really believe Trump’s threat and Bibi’s threat to restart the war on Gaza on Saturday if all the hostages are not released. They are continuing with their emergency plan and will even, in my opinion, start reconstruction work and de facto break the occupier’s grip. Bibi is sidelined and being ignored. Trump is simply ignored with short statements:  “We reject that!”.   With Hamas standing tall and saying that they would not continue with the planned release of hostages scheduled for Saturday unless Israel carried out their commitments for the ceasefire, the aid quickly started flowing. I saw some statistics that 40% of the required tents are in Gaza. The mobile homes ready for deployment can be seen on the trucks waiting for entry in these pictures.

Hamas in the past hours confirmed it will continue to implement the Gaza agreements as scheduled, including the exchange of hostages. Mediators are doing their job. Let’s keep hoping!  Egyptian state media reported that Egypt and Qatar managed to remove Gaza ceasefire obstacles

Yes, I know I am hopeful and probably too hopeful.  There is the West Bank, complete with Gaza-like atrocities, Israel’s continued stay in Lebanon, Israel’s bases being set up in Syria, and the continued threatened war against Iran.  In addition, Israel still fires on anything that moves.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The good news: Gaza defies the impossible!

The Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City reopened its Surgery Department after it was severely destroyed by the recent Israeli aggression.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Peskov setting the record straight:

Key Statements from Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov:

  • ➡️Russia has begun forming a negotiation team for talks with the U.S., with President Putin expected to announce its composition later.
  • ➡️The Kremlin did not disclose who initiated the recent call between Putin and Trump or whether it was their first conversation since Trump’s inauguration.
  • ➡️No concrete agreements have been made regarding a U.S. delegation visiting Russia for negotiations.
  • ➡️Putin and Trump agreed to maintain direct contact, as well as through their aides.
  • ➡️The Kremlin views their discussion as highly significant, given the lack of high-level U.S.-Russia contacts in recent years.
  • ➡️Sanctions were not discussed, but Russia continues to view them as illegal.
  • ➡️Recognition of Crimea, Sevastopol, and four new Russian regions was not addressed during the call.
  • ➡️There is no set timeline for a Putin-Trump meeting yet, with Peskov urging patience.
  • ➡️The potential role of China in Ukraine negotiations remains unclear.
  • ➡️Energy was a topic of discussion between Putin and Trump.
  • ➡️The Kremlin welcomes the new U.S. administration’s stance on seeking an end to the Ukraine conflict.
  • ➡️Peskov advised against speculating on the specifics of a Ukraine settlement, stressing the need to wait for initial results from Russia-U.S. talks.
  • ➡️Mutual invitations between Putin and Trump and a formal bilateral summit are separate issues, with no set timeline for visits.
  • ➡️Russia will consider the lessons of the Minsk Agreements in any future negotiations.

We may see Ukraine broken up with certain parts going back to historical status.

Discussions about Ukraine’s territories in the context of its “inevitable collapse” require precise historical analysis, stated Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR):

  • 🇵🇱 Poland has legitimate reasons to be interested in Lvov, as Ukraine, in fact, only took shape during the Soviet period, formed from lands of several neighboring states and integrated into a historically Russian territorial foundation.
  • 🇭🇺 Transcarpathia was part of the Kingdom of Hungary since the 11th century. After Austria-Hungary’s defeat in World War I, the region briefly became part of Czechoslovakia before being incorporated into the Ukrainian SSR in 1945.
  • 🇷🇴 Parts of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, which were transferred to Soviet Ukraine in 1940, remain of interest to Romania.

The European poodles are literally piddling. Remember Mr. Putin’s comment, ‘They will gather around their master and slowly wag their tails.’  It is not worthwhile to comment on the many statements as they are only words and generally meaningless.  Medvedev:

Quote Pepe Escobar: European political elites are – maybe, finally – being shaken to the core on how, at best, they wallow, irretrievably, in abject IRRELEVANCE.

February 12

Mediators doing their job – Let’s hope:

Egyptian Sources: A delegation from Hamas, headed by Khalil Al-Hayya, concluded a meeting that lasted for several hours with the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence, Major General Hassan Rashad. The situation is moving towards a breakthrough and the confirmation of the ceasefire agreement, as well as the resumption of the release of prisoners from both sides. Mediation efforts have succeeded so far in resolving some of the outstanding issues.

Several international organizations have been granted approval to bring in the fuel and medical supplies urgently needed in the sector. Efforts are still ongoing to obtain approval from the Israeli side to allow the entry of prefabricated homes and tents. Approval for the entry of caravans may be reached by Thursday, which would allow for the continuation of the prisoner exchange.

(So, again, Israel lied, saying that all the agreed numbers of trucks and materials are allowed into Gaza. Obviously, that was untrue).

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Turkey out raiding:

Former Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has proposed a referendum for Gaza residents to decide on joining Turkey as an autonomous region. He further stated that the Gazans and Turks are brothers due to Ottoman control over the land for centuries.

(How much does it take for people to actually get it? Palestinian autonomous State!)

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Putin and Trump have spoken by phone, both sides have confirmed. Oh RT. How treacherous can you become? RT breathlessly reports on every Trump word which we know is highly questionable in terms of reliabiity. We will wait for the Kremlin readout. Peskov reports that the talk lasted for about an hour and a half, during which the two leaders discussed a broad range of issues, primarily the Ukraine conflict. Spox Peskov says Putin discussed the need to address the ROOT CAUSES of Ukraine conflict. He also says Putin invited Trump to Moscow. (Come into my parlor, says the spider to the fly).

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It is difficult to say with certainty what happened yesterday in Trump’s meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan. By the King’s demeanor in the press conference, it seemed as if he was under extreme stress. https://t.me/enemywatch/30488. There were reports that if he should give in to Trump and offer to move Gazans from their lands, by the time that he lands back in Jordan, he would not be King any longer. So, the heat was on. He announced that Jordan would take 2,000 sick children from Gaza which is a superb humanitarian gesture. As far as one can see, he then said that the region has a different plan for Gaza than the Trump plan and he was waiting on Egypt for clarification. Egypt later clarified that they will not be part of removing Gazans from Gaza. Hamas thanked both for their stance. As best as can be determined that is where things stand now. Region wide there are signals that the region will rebuild Gaza. Of course this is when Trump threw his toys out of his buggy and threatened that should the hostages not be returned by this Saturday,the war would continue. (Trump wants Gaza’s oil and gas fields).

Egyptian officials told Reuters that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will not travel to Washington for talks with President Trump so long as the relocation of Gaza’s population is on the agenda.

Earlier today, the Arab League condemned Trump’s plan for Gaza as “unacceptable.”

A while ago we had a fairly hot discussion on the site regarding Iran’s Pezeshkian. He is not a popular man and there are growing calls for his resignation, including from within his own supporter base. He says he will ‘remain until the end’.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

One should bear in mind that the media from the US is so one-sided that there always is a snake in the grass. And also bear in mind that Trump tells tall tales, sometimes just tall and sometimes half, and sometimes straight-up makes up stories.

One sided, breaking agreements with Russia: An announcement came from the US that Russia pardoned an American prisoner and he was back in the US. What they declined to mention, is that this was a prisoner swop and a Russian in US incarceration was pardoned as well. Trump announced that Russia was “very nice” to the US and other charming words. When asked whether the US gave anything in return, Trump said: “Not much. No, they were very nice.” As you can see from Peskov’s statement below, it was a one for one swop. In addition there was a short note from Lavrov himself: The US has decided to announce the situation with Fogel’s release, Russia has a different approach, Lavrov said. He noted that the Russian Federation prefers to respect confidentiality agreements for effective diplomacy.

Evidently, this was such an agreement that Trump did not keep to.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Key statements of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov:

🔹A Russian citizen will be returned to Russia in the coming days following the contacts with the US;

🔹The release of US national Marc Fogel and one Russian citizen from a prison in the US was a result of intensified contacts between Russian and US agencies;

🔹Any agreements on the release of citizens help build mutual trust between countries, but they are unlikely to be a turning point;

🔹Armenia’s desire to join the EU is Yerevan’s sovereign right;

🔹There are political forces in Armenia that believe that focusing on the EU will bring additional dividends for the country;

🔹Russia believes that Armenia continues to receive dividends from the membership in the EAEU, and they are more than obvious;

🔹Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia are open to peace talks, this is a consistent position that is well known in the world;

🔹Ukrainian units will be expelled from the Russian territory or destroyed;

🔹Russia has never discussed and will never discuss the issue of exchanging its territories, as it is impossible;

🔹Russia expects Israel and Hamas to fulfill their obligations under the deal, and Moscow is monitoring the situation.

February 11

Many will remember Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.  The image where he walks right into the Israeli tanks may be scrubbed – I cannot find it easily.

🔹 The family of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza, reported that their lawyer confirmed he was subjected to severe mistreatment and torture in the early days of his detention. He was also held in solitary confinement for 24 days.

🔹 Dr. Abu Safiya suffers from chronic high blood pressure and heart muscle enlargement, requiring continuous medical care. However, Israeli authorities are reportedly providing him with only one insufficient meal per day, with extremely poor food quality.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Israeli Prime Minister’s Office quoted Netanyahu: “I have made a decision, and the cabinet has unanimously approved it: if Hamas does not return our hostages by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire will be cancelled and the Israel Defense Forces will resume intensive combat operations until the final defeat of Hamas,” the Prime Minister’s Office quoted Netanyahu as saying.

There is this nailbiting meeting going on.

Is Jordan caving, or not?

Initial reports of what US President Donald Trump and King Abdullah II told reporters prior to their meeting:

○ Trump:

– Palestinians will live safely in another location that is not Gaza.
– US is going to run Gaza very properly, and that it won’t buy it.
– He does not think Hamas will make Saturday’s deadline for hostage release.
– He thinks there will be parcels of land in Jordan and In Egypt where Palestinians will live.

○ King Abdullah II:

– Asked about taking in Palestinians, he said we have to keep in mind how do we make this work that is in everyone’s best interest.
– Asked whether there is a parcel of land where Palestinians can live in Jordan, King Abdullah II said he has to do what is best for his country.
– Jordan will take 2000 children in who are ill.
– He said they should wait to see the plan from Egypt.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Yemen is prepared to immediately resume anti-Israel operations if the regime violates the ceasefire agreements in Gaza and Lebanon and decides to escalate its atrocities, according to Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

🔹🔹🔹🔹

🔹🔹🔹🔹

They want Russia. They want to own the world while cratering into a regional power if that.

Ukrainian special services, with the assistance of Western curators, are preparing to carry out a series of high-profile anti-Russian provocations, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service announced.

It is assumed that they will blow up a foreign vessel in the Baltic Sea with Russian-made mines, and place the responsibility on Russia.

According to calculations by Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies, such an action will push NATO to decide to close Russia’s access to the Baltic Sea, the SVR added.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Trump & Co are busy tearing the fragile co-existence and the more fragile Government of National Unity in South Africa apart. South Africans are saying that they are not refugees. This is what they are doing.

The community is generally very funny and humor abounds, but I have not heard one of them say: “Leave us alone, we eat cats!” Come-on South Africans, let’s all shout that out! I have heard one of them say: “Ahaaa, we see .. you wanna replace the Mexicans with us!”

The situation in South Africa is complexs. If we say Brazil is complex, South Africa is complex.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

From Pepe on his Telegram channel:

KEEP ON TRUMPIN’

Mr. Disco Infernooooooo is throwing tantrum after tantrum because EVERYBODY in West Asia is sayin’ NO to the Gaza Riviera Resort and Casino scam.

As Amarynth at globalsouth.co piled it up:

Egypt: the Palestinians will not be ethnic cleansed here, or in Jordan, or anywhere else.

Saudi Arabia: We will not normalize with Israel before there is a sovereign Palestinian state.

Hamas: no more ceasefire violations.

Iran, via Khamenei: we will NOT negotiate anything with you.

And this is just the beginning.

Russia, via Ryabkov: “Washington’s attempts to give Moscow ultimatums or to demonstrate the alleged ‘big favor’ in exchange for unacceptable US demands are doomed to failure in the dialogue with Russia.”

Expect Mr. Disco Inferno to go totally ballistic in the next few days. “Burning, burning (Disco Infernoooooo) burning burning / burn that mother down”.
