⭕ Maroun Al-Ras is liberated – the Israelis have withdrawn |media|
⭕ The Lebanese Armed Forces announces in a statement that one Lebanese soldier was killed by Israeli gunfire in the South
⭕ 🇨🇴🇺🇸Colombian President Gustavo Petro has banned US planes carrying deported citizens from entering the country due to the inappropriate treatment of migrants by US authorities, according to the head of state himself.
[it may be inappropriate to the civilized and even to narco-states, but this is SOP within the Land of the Brave and the Absolutely Free. Abu Ghraib had a template: the Gulags in CONUS]💠@Sputnik Africa:
⭕ ❗️The Oreshnik system will be deployed in Belarus “any day now,” the country’s President Alexander Lukashenko statesHe added that on Belarusian territory, the missile complex could be positioned near Russia’s Smolensk.

💠@imetatronink:
⭕ ⁉️ Once again, I ask:What is the mission description for this operation? What are their orders? What is the military objective?
[links:
🔻 Libs of TikTok: JUST IN: Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division, the 10th Mountain Division, and a Stryker brigade from the 4th Infantry Division, have reportedly been told they will be deployed to the border next.]
🔻 C1: Prior to this deployment the S3/G3 created an Operation Order with related Rules of Engagement.Distribution of that Operation Order is going to be restricted so cartels and traffickers are not reading it on X.
It may look like the Op Order currently in use by the TXARNG
🔻 WS: Succinctly:In my view, there is no credible mission for US front-line combat forces in a border security role, nor in a meaningful series of “decapitation strikes” against Mexican drug cartels.
But Russia, China, and Iran will look favorably upon such an undertaking.
🔻 Mel Glibson: I think it is refreshing to wage war on one’s own borders versus fighting one halfway across the globe.
🔻 WS: War against whom? What is the target list? What is the order of battle? What are the operational and strategic objectives?
🔻 Tim Kennedy: I think Trump is planning a war with the Mexican drug cartels. He started by designating them terrorist organizations now he’s securing our territory in the border before taking the fight to them
🔻 WS: Where are the front lines of this putative war?Where and what are the military targets?
How can we assess military successes in this war?
How will we know when this war is “won”?
🔻Tim Kennedy: We’re not fighting a state we’re fighting a criminal organization. They hold territory but since they don’t wear uniforms and they use gorilla warfare they might not be easy to identify. There are some metrics that can be used for measuring success although it isn’t as clear cut as collapsing a regime. I’m sure there are smarter people than me who can lay out specific metrics but here are some hypothetical ones. Disruption of criminal operations such as cartel violence, human and drug trafficking as well as reducing the territory where they have free rein. Which can be measured in square miles of Mexican government control rather than cartel control.
[crickets. Unbelievable. I bet there are “decision makers” with this mindset. Buckle up Amarynth!!! The Retards Cometh. The Show shall go ON. Someone else needs to get “Gaza’ed” to keep the music goin’. It is AGAINST the rules for there to be uncomfortable Silences]
🔻Captain Jack: Secure the border.
🔻 WS: on sequitur. What does this even mean? How will it be accomplished?
🔻 Captain Jack: No more illegal migration
🔻 WS: How will a few thousand of America’s front-line combat troops “secure the border”?How will their unique set of capabilities be employed to achieve this objective?
🔻 C6: From what I understand, they plan on putting up a wall, and then prevent individuals from coming into the country except at ports of entry. Various other countries do so successfully.
🔻 WS: So front-line American combat brigades are going to build a wall? 🤔
🔻 C6: The sent engineering brigades first. I saw some cool video of the machine they use to roll out large amounts of razor wire. I would imagine the combat brigades are there to backup BP and prevent breaches of the border.
🔻 WS: I have heard no reports of “engineering brigades” being deployed. And even if there were, combat engineering brigades are not equipped to build effective border walls. This is silly talk.
🔻 C6: I never said it was a great idea, and it may be silly talk, but you should let them know that, I have nothing to do with it. I’m just letting you know what they are doing.
🔻 WS: What evidence is there that US combat engineering brigades have been sent to the Mexican border?
🔻 C6: Arizona Daily Startucson.com › news › local › troops-deployed-to-arizona-installing-razor-wire-on-nogales-border-fence › article_fd7831fc-68b8-5188-a4e1-54784ff0d99c.html
Troops deployed to Arizona installing razor wire on Nogales border fence
🔻 WS: I rest my case. There is no meaningful US military capability at this time — nor any time in the near- to medium-future — to construct any fashion of barricade sufficient to block illegal immigration.
But the Russians, Chinese, and Iranians would be pleased to see the US try.
🔻 C6: That may be true, but you should tell someone who cares, which isn’t me. You asked for evidence that they are sending engineering units. They clearly are. I don’t really care, they’ll be in your area long before mine.
[LOL! Sounds like a youngster — “let him get it first” – has it already begun?]
🔻 C6: You don’t mind if I continue to enjoy your substacks, do you?
🔻 WS: It has always seemed to me that exchanging views is a net positive, even when disagreement — or seeming disagreement — is present.I am making a narrow point about the ill-advised and inefficacious deployment of front-line US ground forces in a border security role.
🔻 Mersius: Please use your old profile pic..
[another aching youngster..]
🔻 WS: I am currently prohibited from changing it. I only meant to change it for a few hours. But 𝕏 then took away my blue check and froze my ability to alter my profile settings.
🔻 Mersius: Oh Okay…hope it won’t take long.
🔻 Uhuru Worldwide: Operation Just Because 😏😔
For the non history buffs, it’s just a play on “Operation Just Cause” (US invasion of Panama)…
🔻 WS: Operation Just Cause“Just ’cause we can, and no one can stop us.”
🔻 Uhuru Worldwide: Exactly!
🔻 C9: Cartels, invasion of Mexico.
[why not to seal the jail for american hostages? Many aver the border wall was to keep them in.. and given what Drumpf is about to roll out, many will certainly try to flee]
🔻 WS: To me, it is an absurd proposition. It would be a huge strategic blunder.
⭕ 📺 Star Trek is haughtily scorned by a great many. But I am confident Aristotle and Aristophanes would have heartily approved. The Poetics adapted to the limited modern attention span.

🔻 WS: “In every revolution, there’s one man with a vision.”And it’s always one the common folk understand. |media|
[I wonder, in CONUS, whether that is Trump?? And the vision is quite dark. Keats did not write “the passion of the worst” for nothing]
🔻 C1: Watching the first series on Netflix… apart from the dated female roles, the scripts are surprisingly good, the remastered video has a great color palette, and the stories cover both human and political issues without patronising the audience.
🔻 WS: In my considered opinion, Deep Space Nine (1993-1999) is, by a significant margin, the best series of the Star Trek franchise. The first season takes a while to find its focus, but from Season 2 forward, it gets better and better.Just FYI.
[no thx! Despise Star Trek and most sci fi..]
🔻 C2: The original Star Trek, shows the future as a kind of utopia which is unattainable in my view. It posits that once man’s material needs are met, all wars and strife will be over. It completely fails to get that man is more than an animal.Nevertheless still entertaining.
⭕Pure gold never ages.
⭕ I do not believe US JASSM missiles are significantly, if at all, more capable than their British/French Storm Shadow/SCALP counterparts.Russian AD has dominated the SS/SCALP missiles from the time of their introduction in Ukraine.
Maybe Iranian AD is far less capable against a subsonic high-altitude cruise missile. But I wouldn’t bet heavily on that assumption. |media|

🔻 Armchair Warlord:
Good evening, Commander. Let’s talk about battle theory.Specifically, let’s talk about the foundational concept of combined arms – which is necessary for success at all levels of modern war down to the individual soldier.
Allow me to introduce the “Iron Triangle.”⬇️
Traditionally (by which I mean during the black powder age when the concept of the modern army itself developed from earlier feudal hosts), the “Iron Triangle” of combined arms warfare involved the interaction between infantry, cavalry, and artillery on the battlefield. This interaction could be crudely described as a game of rock-paper-scissors: artillery blows up infantry, infantry shoot down cavalry, cavalry ride down artillery. Of course things were somewhat more complicated in practice (generally because the defensive measures infantry took in response to threatened cavalry attack made them particularly vulnerable to artillery), but you can immediately see how successful application of combined arms in the Napoleonic period acted as a force multiplier vis-a-vis “symmetrical” combat between the combat arms branches.
Initially I had thought to confuse the reader with a description of how the neat Napoleonic triangle had turned into a tactical dodecahedron in the modern day as technology has advanced and specialized combat arms developed. Ergo only TRVE PROFESSIONALS have the ability to really understand war in the modern day, in the intricate interplay of infantry, scouts, armor, anti-armor, fast air, slow air, anti-air, drones, sappers, light artillery, heavy artillery, electronic warfare… but that isn’t really the case. The concept of the Iron Triangle still applies if you look at things in terms of combat functions: Maneuver, Fires, and Reconnaissance.* The US Army doctrinally uses a concept of five functional areas to organize the service branches in staff work: Maneuver, Intelligence, Fires, Protection, and Sustainment. This is too complicated to use as a tool to describe tactics.
Allow me to treat each of the combat functions in turn, keeping in mind that the basic objective of war is to find the enemy and kill him. As enemies generally come in large groups with complicated deployments, both steps are far more involved than it would appear at first blush. Similarly, the enemy is going to be trying to do this to you, so there’s an equally critical “Shadow Triangle” of countering the enemy’s own efforts: anti-Maneuver, anti-Fires, and anti-Reconnaissance.
Thus, Maneuver involves moving across the battlefield for the purposes of closing with and defeating the enemy in close combat by forcing him to run away or killing him where he stands and then physically occupying his real estate. Fires involves attacking the enemy from a distance without attempting to advance upon him. And Reconnaissance involves finding him in the first place to inflict the aforementioned violence.
You can immediately see how all the combat branches* sort themselves into either performing these functions or denying them to the enemy – and most troops can and will perform multiple functions at once. For instance, infantry can assault the enemy (Maneuver), defend positions (anti-Maneuver), do attacks by fire at range without assaulting (Fires), entrench themselves (anti-Fires), conduct offensive patrols and emplace LP/OPs (Reconnaissance), and conduct security patrols (anti-Reconnaissance). In fact, it wouldn’t be particularly unusual for the same infantry unit to do all of these in a single day of combat.* Yes, I will be addressing logistics later. Those of you who have spent an inordinate amount of time researching and “interpretating” my service record are doubtless familiar with the fact that I’m actually something of a logistician and not one to unprofessionally handwave the matter.
Thus combined arms on the complex modern battlefield actually becomes quite simple – you need to maintain your own Iron Triangle and destroy your enemy’s to be successful. Generally this process involves finding the enemy, striking him at range to degrade him, and then closing with and destroying him. The manifold service branches of the modern army all do their bit to accomplish this.
Moreover, and quite critically, many of the branches’ efforts are somewhat fungible and redundant. So long as the infantry get across the objective in the end, it doesn’t really matter whether the enemy was hit with kill drones or artillery to soften them up, or whether their position was initially discovered by interrogating prisoners of war or triangulating radio signals – just that those combat functions were performed.
As an aside, this “results-oriented” conceptualization of combat is sort of a drastically expanded method of “backwards planning,” which is a basic time management concept taught to new recruits – you figure out when you need to be somewhere and then work backwards from that point to determine when you need to wake up in the morning. In this case it’s a process of imagining ourselves high-fiving on the objective and then working backwards from that point to determine everything that needs to happen so we can get there.
🔻 WS: This description of combined arms concepts all makes sense in the context of, for example, the war in Ukraine.I find myself straining to apply it to border security and Mexican bandito safaris. But perhaps I simply lack sufficient imagination.

KeymasterBrian Berletic has this to say on the military on the border. Some of Trump’s stuff is dead serious, others are just stunts:
Trump Repeats 2018 Troop Border Stunt – Supporters Buy it Again…
Trump directs multi-million dollar photo op designed to convince Americans “security” is being established at the border.
This is only 500 Marines whose sole purpose is to conduct a public relations stunt using Osprey aircraft that buses and trucks easily and more economically – but less dramatically – could have performed if more personnel were actually required.
What exactly will 500 Marines sitting out in the open with combat load outs do to secure a 2,000 mile long border?
No one thought about that, just saw US troops and thought, “promise made, promise kept!”
Back in reality, Trump ran on border security before his FIRST term in office and in 2018 deployed 5,200 troops to the border which categorically failed to solve illegal immigration.
As Americans are duped by tax-dollar-burning PR stunts (again), Trump will continue where Biden left off sanctioning and undermining Latin American nations, maintaining the pressure on and flow of people out of their destabilized homes to America where special interests Trump and Biden serve exploit for cheap labor and as a wedge issue to divide and distract Americans.
… and then he has some numbers about the previous time .. And for those trying to argue Trump’s first troop deployment in 2018 “worked,” no it didn’t.
Illegal immigration increased.
If you zoom out you realize it goes up and down no matter who is in office and no matter what they pretend to do.
It’s driven by US foreign policy abroad as it deliberately burns the world down and leaves people nowhere else to go. That is the problem.
That is what needs to be fixed. Troops on the border is a stunt to distract you away from this reality.
He has this chart .. https://t.me/brianlovethailand/3651

ParticipantNot the same of course, but the Orange clown ought to remember what the effect of Pershing’s (1916-17) expedition was ” It enabled Carranza [Mexican President] to mobilize popular anger, strengthen his political position, and permanently escalate anti-American sentiment in Mexico”. The expedition failed, according to Pershing. For myself, it seems to me that the drug business and the “intelligence” business, and big banking, are indistinguishable. Check with Gary Webb…. 😉 or Al McCoy… or any of a long list of experts… that said, fooling around with violent criminals is playing to lose…

BlockedDear crone, you said, “Trump wants to develop that excellent real estate in Gaza…”
He also wants to strip the PetroSheikhs from BRICS. He should at least muddy the waters and deny them the hefty investments. The trillion USD extortion of KSA is a first installment. After that, and likely in tandem right now, the UAE, Qataris and rest are being shaken down. The practical effect is to strip the Arab side of the Persian Gulf from BRICS at minimum, even if the crazies do not detonate Armageddon via Iran. One cannot have, nor service to such an extent, two masters!

ParticipantThe ceasefire was important to Trump personally (he and Bibi have a lot in common) – for optics…he didn’t want photos of humans being torn from limb to limb by 20# bombs circulating while he was taking office … would have spoiled the pomp and circumstance, the illusion of a ‘peacemaker’ …
Tomorrow marks a week he has been in office … a week of ‘shock and awe’ – filled with scores of EOs – or ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’ as Larry Summers states … along with bluster and threats. (and the renaming of points on the world maps … Gulf of America (cough, cough) and Musk (Trump’s handler) yesterday proclaimed ‘The English Channel’ to henceforth be known as ‘The George Washington Channel’ and produced a newly published map to ‘make it so’)…who knows … perhaps Mars will be renamed ‘Trump’ …
There are 1454 days or 206+- weeks until January 20, 2029 when Trump’s term expires. Pray.

⭕ The will of the inhabitants of the south of Lebanon is stronger than the most powerful Israeli unethical and immoral occupation forces.
⭕ Israel killed@11 civilians in the south of Lebanon and wounded 34 without intimidating the southerners to leave their villages.
⭕ The Israeli occupation forces look confused with the vicinity of many Lebanese civilians at a very close distance from their tanks and guns in the southern villages they refused to leave from.
⭕ Israel murdered 15 civilians and a Lebanese army officer and wounded 83 without preventing the inhabitants from forcing their ways into their bordering villages. ⭕ The people of South Lebanon today sacrificed 22 martyrs, the price they paid for challenging the Israeli occupation and forcing a return to their land. There is no place for occupation when the owners of the land are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice.
[do you now understand why the criminals target women and children in Gaza, and elsewhere in Greater Syria?]
⭕ The courage I saw on the Lebanese borders today and the determination of the people of all ages to return is difficult to explain in black and white. No one is forcing people to return to their land. The Lebanese army has been extremely cooperative, opening the road for people in the southern border villages.
⭕ The Israeli settlers did not return to the bordering settlements they occupy because they don’t trust their army and their government.
[note the distinction – it is greater fear of their criminal authorities to protect them, or use them as bait, than Hezbollah’s word to honor the ceasefire!]
⭕ In theory, Palestinians in Gaza should be able to return from the south to the north via the Nitzarem corridor at local time crossing through al-Rashid costal road. Benjamin Netanyahu, accused of war crimes by the ICC, tried to delay the process for only a few days and succeeded. Let’s see what other useless tricks he has up his sleeve.💠@DDGeopolitics:

⭕ 🇱🇾🇷🇺 Europe continues to express concern over the transfer of Russian military equipment from Syria to LibyaThus, several European publications reported that since the end of December 2024 alone, 10 flights of IL-76 and AN-124 military transport aircraft have been recorded, which delivered advanced military equipment to the Haruba and Jofra air bases, including the S-300 and S-400 air defense systems.
In addition to the existing bases of the African Corps of the Russian Ministry of Defense, “Jofra”, “Brak al-Shati” in the south of Libya, “al-Qardabiya” in the city of Sirte and “Haruba” in the northeast of the country, a new, strategic base was recently added on the border of Chad, Sudan and Libya – ” Muathan al-Sara “.
The possibility of a Russian naval base being created in the city of Tobruk, which is only a few hundred kilometers from southern Europe, continues to cause particular concern in the European press.

⭕ A raining morning in Beirut.
⭕ This is what a total defeat, not victory, of Benjamin Netanyahu looks like.
Media reports the return on foot of tens of thousands of Palestinians from the south to the north of Gaza after 15 months of war through the “death corridor “ called Netzarim via Al Rashid coastal road that opened minutes ago. Cars are allowed in through Salahoddine street after an inspection conducted by an American security agency.
The Palestinians of the north are mainly 1948 refugees who refuse to leave Palestine and accept to live in a tent but stay. Israel can never defeat these people.
⭕ Yesterday in Lebanon and today in Gaza are glorious days for the resistance and a moral defeat to the most brutal, immoral and unethical government and army in the Middle East.
🔻 Syed Zeeshan Ali: @ejmalrai does the return of plaestinians mean the war is over, i mean is their return now a deterrent for IL to resume WAR. It would be catastrophic if these pure souls are once again subjected to genocide . They deserve peace and all our love

⭕ The right of return of the Palestinians is happening.

⭕ Even if it means living in a tent, the people of southern Lebanon and Gaza must return to their land. The entire world should stand in reverence and admiration for the people of Gaza and southern Lebanon for their display of steadfastness that has rendered the Israeli aggression, fully supported by America, ineffective.
What the peoples of the region must understand is that confronting Israeli and American arrogance is the safest and most appropriate path, and that true peace is achieved through the return of the Palestinian people to all of their land and the liberation of the nation’s sanctities from the filth of the Zionist occupier.”

Eventually, we agreed on how to proceed, wrote letters, and affixed seals. You should have similarly written letters and sent worthy envoys with Anton. We sent our envoy Andrei Grigorievich Sovin with your envoy. Now you have sent our envoy back without sending one of your own, and the matter was not handled as agreed. The letter you sent was like a travel document, not suitable for such affairs which require oaths and exchanges of ambassadors. Your nobles only discussed trade with our envoy, and your merchants, Sir William Garrard and Sir William Chester, managed everything. We thought you governed your state, concerned for its honor and benefit, but it seems others, even mere merchants, control these matters for their profit while you remain in the status of a simple maiden. We shall set these matters aside. Let these merchants see how they will trade without our state’s cooperation. Even without English goods, the Muscovite state has not been impoverished. 🔻 Maria Dubovikova: I translate them myself. I’m not sure if they’ve ever been translated into English before, but given their original specific and complex language, even native speakers might find it challenging. Therefore, I prefer to interpret the texts myself. They are truly fascinating, and I’m glad you enjoyed them!

⭕ Ali’s unjust imprisonment was a violation of his fundamental rights and an attack on press freedom and the principles of justice. His detention without charges underscores the immense challenges journalists face in their pursuit of uncompromised truth.
[links:
🔻 Ali Abunimah:
I’m free! I wrote this on the plane and I’m posting it just after landing at Istanbul. On Monday evening I was brought to Zurich airport in handcuffs, in a small metal cage inside a windowless prison van and led all the way to the plane by police. This is after three days and two nights in a Swiss prison cut off from communication with the outside world, in a cell 24 hours a day with one cell mate, not even permitted to contact my family. On Saturday in a police interview in the presence of my lawyer they accused me of “offending against Swiss law” without ever telling me what crime I had committed in Switzerland or listing any charges. As far as I know I have not been charged with any crime whatsoever and I was held in “administrative detention.” On Sunday morning, they took me from my cell for questioning by Swiss defense ministry intelligence agents without the presence of my lawyer, and they again refused to allow me to contact her or my family. I refused to talk to them without my lawyer and told them take me back to my cell. During my imprisonment I refused every meal and every cup of coffee or tea they offered me except the last meal, after I knew I would be going home. I accepted only water, which is the right of every human being. All of this was after I was abducted off the street around 1:30pm on Saturday while on my way to the Palestine teach-in by undercover agents, handcuffed, forced into an unmarked car and sped straight to the prison. My “crime”? Being a journalist who speaks up for Palestine and against Israel’s genocide and settler-colonial savagery and those who aid and abet it. I came to Switzerland at the invitation of Swiss citizens to talk about justice for Palestine, to talk about accountability for a genocide in which Switzerland too is complicit. But while I was hauled off to prison like a dangerous criminal before I even had a chance to say a word, the Israeli president Isaac Herzog, who declared at the start of the genocide that there are no civilians in Gaza, no innocents, received a red carpet welcome in Davos, a carpet soaked in the blood of the more than 47,000 known victims of the genocide and the thousands more still under the rubble, or who died of deliberately inflicted starvation and denial of medical care. And on this very day Netanyahu freely travels to Poland to make a mockery of the Auschwitz commemoration despite an outstanding ICC arrest warrant. That is the perverse, unjust world we live in. This ordeal lasted three days but that taste of prison was more than enough to leave me in even greater awe of the Palestinian heroes who endure months and years in the prisons of the genocidal oppressor. More than ever I know that the debt we owe them is one we can never repay and all of them must be free and they must remain our focus. The police gave me my phone back only at the gate of the plane so I’m only seeing now the extent of the overwhelming support and solidarity from all over the world. I’m deeply grateful to each and every person who stood up for me. I’m especially grateful to my lawyer Dina Raewel and her team, to our friends in Zurich who I learned afterwards demonstrated outside the prison, to my family and my colleagues at EI and so many others. I honestly had no idea what was happening outside that concrete room! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I want to tell the whole story of what happened, perhaps in an @intifada livestream in the next day or two, because I think it’s important for people to know the depths to which their Western so-called “democracies” have sunk in the abject service of genocidal Zionism. Right now I’m glad to be on my way home. I’m looking forward to hugging my mom and dad, taking a shower and sleeping in my own bed. Journalism is not a crime! Speaking out for Palestine is not a crime! Standing against racist genocidal Zionism is not a crime! Say it with me:From the River to the Sea Palestine Will Be Free! ❤️🇵🇸✌️

The Lebanese Army Command has strongly denied a claim reported in the @thetimes of London, suggesting that a Lebanese army chief had leaked classified military secrets to Hezbollah , during the ceasefire agreement with Israel. The allegations in The Times, reported that Suhail Bahij Harb, a senior officer in the Lebanese Army, who holds the position of Chief of Military Intelligence for Southern Lebanon, had allegedly leaked classified military information to Hezbollah.
Harb, according to the “international intelligence report seen by The Times,” was accused of sharing sensitive details from a security control room, operated jointly by the United States, France, & the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The report also alleges that, “Harb is one of dozens of officers in the Lebanese army who have leaked information to Hezbollah, giving them advance warning of raids or patrols, allowing them to remove weapons and evade detection.”
A statement issued by the Lebanese Army Command on Monday strongly denied the reports “of alleged security leaks involving its officers & categorically rejected claims that any of its higher-ups had given away sensitive military information to a partisan entity.”
The Army’s statement underlined “the dedication & competence of its officers, who are tasked with carrying out their duties in various units with the utmost professionalism.”
DISSECTION & CONTEXT:
The Times report forgot to mention:
📌that Harb was personally handpicked for the job five years ago by President Michel Aoun, when the latter was Commander in Chief.📌Aoun, who is now President of Lebanon, was actually selected, vetted & appointed by the “international” powers because of his good relations with the west & in particular the US.
📌 The fact that Harb is a “Shiite,” which the Times highlight in its report is irrelevant, since in line with the country’s 6/6 formula for distribution of power, this position in the south has always been held by a Shiite.
Even if Harb was to be replaced, the next candidate will also be from the Shiite sect.📌 In its reporting of the breach, the Times decided to define Hezbollah as “the Iran-backed group,” as if to paint some sinister correlation with the actual accusation. If anything, Hezbollahs’s relation with Iran, on this occasion, is actually irrelevant to both the report & allegation.
📌The times report said that the “alleged breach comes at a crucial time for the tentative ceasefire, as Israeli soldiers defied a deadline to withdraw from Lebanese territory.”
— One could also argue that the timing of such accusations, by this unnamed“international intelligence report” comes at a critical time & plays directly into Israel’s hand & justification for refusing to withdraw from South Lebanon, as per the original agreement.📌 The “intelligence document” states that apparently “ Hezbollah use internal, sensitive information regarding the Lebanese army to hide its actions from the international entities in charge of regional security.”
It adds that “the leaks raise concern over the ability of the Lebanese army to take over effectively the mountainous south of the country, where Hezbollah has for years been the dominant political and military force.”
Such an assertion is not only extremely dangerous, but also sets the stage for & on behalf of Israel, to use as false pretext & justification for a continued occupation of certain positions in South Lebanon.CONCLUSION:
📌 The whole thing seriously raises questions about both the timing & purpose of this so called “international intelligence report.”
Given that the author of the report is based in Tel-Avi was this in fact based on Israeli intelligence & not western ones?
Whose interest does it really serve & to whose detriment?📌 It also goes without saying that such an accusation puts Harb’s life in grave danger, given Israel’s long history of target killings/assassinations.

He noted that these numbers are expected to rise as territories are freed from the presence of the Ukrainian regime and investigative actions are conducted.
“Facts of mass killings, violence, and looting are being uncovered. A more realistic peace plan, taking into account the minimum acceptable Russian position (as otherwise the war will simply continue), in Fourteen Points:⬇️1. Ukraine will never join NATO or the EU, and will conduct no direct or indirect military cooperation with any member of those blocs outside of that explicitly allowed under the present treaty; nor will it allow bloc members to maintain expansive diplomatic missions in Kiev or elsewhere.
2. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be disbanded and their equipment disposed of under joint NATO-Russian supervision; NATO is invited to recover donated equipment for its own use. Postwar Ukraine may maintain a gendarmerie equipped with light weapons, as well as sufficient aerial and naval forces to police its own airspace and remaining coastline.
3. The GUR and SBU are to be disbanded and not replaced by any successor organizations.
4. All Ukrainian ultranationalist organizations are to be banned and their leadership barred from public office.
5. All personnel who served as senior leaders in the Ukrainian security services from 2014-2025 are to be barred from further service to the postwar Ukrainian state.
6. Ukraine will formally cede the five oblasts to Russia in their administrative boundaries; Ukrainian forces will withdraw from any portions of Kursk still occupied at the time the treaty enters into effect; Russian forces will similarly withdraw from occupied portions of Kharkov Oblast.
7. The Russian language is to be given coequal status with the Ukrainian language.
8. All actions taken against the canonical UOC, in communion with the Moscow Patriarchate, are to be reversed and all seized Church property returned.
9. All Soviet and Imperial-era memorials are to be restored.
10. All memorials and monuments to members of the OUN-UPA and other Nazi collaborators, as well as those erected in honor of proscribed ultranationalist entities and individuals in the current war, are to be destroyed.
11. All Ukrainian nuclear facilities are to be occupied by, and operate under the supervision of, the joint NATO-Russian disarmament task force on a permanent basis; Ukraine commits to end all nuclear research immediately and to decommission all three power plants no later than 2040.
12. All political parties and individuals proscribed and persecuted by the Maidan-era Ukrainian authorities are to be restored their freedoms and properties.
13. Free and fair elections are to be held under the supervision of the joint NATO-Russian disarmament task force within three months of the treaty entering into force.
14. Those Russian funds currently detained in Western banks are to be allocated for civil reconstruction and development in postwar Ukraine, controlled by a joint NATO-Russian reconstruction commission.
Formalities such as a ceasefire and an exchange of prisoners are of course to be incorporated. I doubt the Russians care all that much about immediate sanctions relief at this point – with peace having broken out, sanctions will be eased in the normal course of economic business.
There will additionally be an unofficial “understanding” that – the Russians having achieved their stated war aims – NATO will view any moves by the Kremlin to seize additional territory in Ukraine very dimly, and will at a minimum introduce forces to occupy Western Ukraine in such an event. |Orange BS|

⭕ Israel has flagrantly violated the ceasefire agreement, with over 1,350 documented breaches thus far, including bombing raids on Nabatiyeh, north of the Litani River, wounding 14 people. These actions appear to be a calculated provocation aimed at dragging Hezbollah into a retaliatory response, thereby justifying Israel’s continued military presence in Lebanon far beyond the agreed timeline until the 18th of Feb.It is crucial for Hezbollah to exercise restraint and avoid falling into this trap. Retaliation would provide Israel with the pretext it seeks to prolong its occupation under the guise of self-defense. By refraining from responding militarily, Hezbollah denies Israel the opportunity to escalate the conflict further, maintaining its focus on the agreed withdrawal timeline and protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty without legitimising Israeli provocations.

Yesterday, American journalist Tucker Carlson said that the Biden administration ‘tried to kill Putin.’
This was proposed by former US Secretary of State Blinken.
A day passed.
Everyone is silent.
Neither Biden nor Blinken denied the statements. The preparation of an assassination attempt on Putin, the very discussion of it, is a crime. The most serious threat to global security.
A direct path to the start of a nuclear war.
This should be grounds for investigation by all international institutions.
Let me give you some facts:
– Preparations were underway for an attack on Hungarian Prime Minister Orban, which was avoided.
– An assassination attempt was made on the Prime Minister of Slovakia Fico .
– An assassination attempt was made on Trump during his election campaign. Therefore, discussions of the intention to kill Putin must be taken seriously.
All these are links in the same chain.
What Tucker Carlson said needs to be thoroughly investigated, and Biden and Blinken should be held accountable.
We all need to realize that the Russian Federation is being subjected to a brutal fight. We need to understand the scale of the challenges and threats that we face.
And that means feeling your responsibility.Vladimir Vladimirovich is doing everything to strengthen the country, achieve peace, and resolve issues of global security.

BlockedTalking of Yemen in the Daily Chronicles reminds that it is mete that Yemen returns to center stage in the End Times.
Some narrations hold that Yemen is the oldest human dwelling after the Fall of Man; Their main and famous port city of Aden, long the hub of the British Empire’s Royal Navy as a coaling station and logistics hub enroute to Crown-jewel India, is the arabic word for Adam, where he supposedly landed after the First Descent (so many parallels between Adam and Jesus!). Eve fell in lovely India, to this day among the most fragrant, verdant land and of alluring spices..
As recounted in the Qur’an, the most powerful evil Empire since the Flood is also buried under the sands of Yemen, occupying nearly a quarter of the Arabian Peninsula. Yemen had many others empires, some who sent legions to war on other civilizations, such as China, taking Tibet for a while. So Yemen has featured in the Beginning, the middle and the End!
But most are ignorant of History, and boast vainly of thousand-year Reiches, not understanding how we’ve all become puny in the passage of Time. Earlier peoples were vastly larger and more powerful, and arguably more wicked. Many were of Yemeni stock, such as the relentless Pharaoh who ruled over Egypt at time of Moses; or the Amalek tribe of Babylon that the young Patriarch and his cousin Lot fought against – not to mention the Patriarch, himself of the same Yemeni Amalek tribe.
So I wonder, if folks understand when Satanyahoo claimed to war on Amalek, how many understood it meant the sons of Japeth (caucasian europeans/Turk elites) mean to exterminate not just the Canaanite semites of yesteryear, but the roots of all arabs, and semites, located in Yemen? What days await the fat defenseless PetroSheikhs, not understanding they’re mere menu, not even servants, at the High Table!
So it is proper, like a bracket, the geopolitical struggle over mankind that consumed principalities and elite alike from the very Beginning is being tied up in a neat bow many millennia later, right here in Yemen.

⭕ Following Trump’s statements that the Gaza Strip must be “cleansed,” the US secretary of state told Egypt’s foreign minister this week that it was important to ensure that Hamas can never again rule Gaza.“The secretary of state reiterated the importance of close cooperation to advance post-conflict planning to ensure that Hamas can never again rule Gaza or threaten Israel,” Washington said.

[Qiyamah = another name for Judgment Day. Palestinians shall persevere, even against Legion and all mankind marshalled against them. ⭕ ⚡️ Lee once again gifts us an extremely incisive piece of analysis, this time in relation to the 2023-10-07 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which remains shrouded by a disinformation campaign nonpareil, replete with monstrous atrocity tales that live on in the public consciousness.
🔻Lee Slusher:
Indicators and Warnings: Operation Al-Aqsa FloodThis piece belongs to the thematic series, “Flipping the Board.”
The Israeli government initially claimed to have been caught by surprise when Hamas attacked on October 7, 2023. Officials later amended this assertion, stating instead that security services had misinterpreted the gravity of the indicators and warnings of the attack, and so failed to respond appropriately.
Israel has long employed all manner of intelligence collection, both human and technical, to keep Gaza under a proverbial microscope. The entities primarily responsible for the efforts are Shin Bet, the country’s domestic security agency, and Israeli Military Intelligence, also known as Aman. There are also a great many guard towers, cameras, and ground sensors lining Gaza’s perimeter with Israel.
For reference, at least for Americans, Gaza is slightly smaller in area than Philadelphia, but it is long, narrow, and backed up against the Mediterranean Sea. Gaza’s dimensions make the task of surveillance easier than in other locations, because Gaza has such little depth from east to west. Even from north to south, Gaza measures only twenty-five miles (forty-one kilometers). Surveillance of this small strip is accomplished by land, sea, air, and space. In fact, with the exception of Gaza’s border with Egypt—which is also Gaza’s widest section at seven and a half miles (twelve kilometers)—Israel controls all surrounding land and water.
The most pressing surveillance challenge comes from Gaza’s network of subterranean tunnels. However, tunnels are not a complete black hole in terms of intelligence collection and analysis. Those who enter these passageways also exit them. They meet with others, some of whom might relay information to their adversaries. They often communicate using technology susceptible to interception. Likewise, their movements on the surface are trackable by air and space-based platforms.
Israeli security services have demonstrated such skills many times over. For instance, after amassing ground forces on Gaza’s border in 2021, the IDF tweeted, “IDF air and ground troops are currently attacking in the Gaza Strip.”(1) But no such attack was underway at that moment. This was a ruse to lure Hamas fighters into tunnels the IDF then attacked with airstrikes. This is not to say Israel has perfect knowledge of the underground happenings in Gaza, only to note that one should not consider tunnels, particularly these ones, to be impervious to surveillance. Then, of course, there is the fact that many of Hamas’s preparations for October seventh occurred aboveground, in plain view, and over an extended period of time.(2)
Consider the things one is expected to believe simultaneously. On the one hand, Hamas outwitted Israel leading up to and on October seventh. But on the other hand, Israel was able not only to kill Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, but to do so inside of an IRGC compound in Tehran. Months later, Israel detonated the explosives its operatives had placed surreptitiously in thousands of Hezbollah’s pagers as part of a decade-long plot. Ten days after that, Israel located and killed the longtime Secretary General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, in Lebanon. In a little over a week, Israel did the same to six other members of Hezbollah’s senior leadership.
It is likely that many of these feats were the work of Mossad, Israel’s other and best known security agency. But is one to believe that Mossad possessed seemingly otherworldly degrees of competence and cunning, while Shin Bet and Aman were unable to see the events in Gaza that unfolded—quite literally—right before their eyes, both before and on October seventh?
Consider, too, the AI-based targeting technologies, such as “the Gospel” and “Lavender,” that Israel employed in Gaza shortly after the attacks. In 2019, the IDF announced the creation of a Gaza-focused “targeting center” that made use of “the fields of data science and machine learning in order to acquire targets.”(3) According to the Israeli press, the IDF employed such technologies in 2021 during “Operation Guardian of the Walls.”(4) The Jerusalem Post noted the IDF’s use of “the Gospel” and similar systems in the operation, which they declared Israel’s “first artificial-intelligence war.”(5)
Here one is expected to believe both that Israel possessed and had used such potent sensor-to-shooter capabilities prior to October seventh and that Israel was sufficiently blind not to have observed and understood Hamas’s preparations for the operation. According to the IDF, the attack involved thousands of Hamas fighters—some on motorcycles and paragliders— and the use of approximately one thousand rockets and other munitions. Yet the IDF’s response came hours later, and an unusually high number of its ground units were occupied in the West Bank.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to delay a public inquiry. Two related developments occurred on January 21, 2025. First, Israel’s legislature passed a law “criminalizing the denial, minimization or celebration” of the attack.(6) Second, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Force, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, resigned, “taking responsibility for security failures tied to Hamas’ surprise attack.”(7)
What issues might such a public inquiry address? |links|

⭕ Thank you USA:The US has reportedly halted the shipment of $50 million worth of condoms and contraceptives to Gaza, effectively and positively limiting access to birth control. The restriction contributes to a population increase, which is a natural response to the massive loss of life and injuries sustained during the devastating war. Historically, populations affected by war and genocide have often responded with higher birth rates as a means of demographic resistance and recovery.
Palestinians, who already have one of the highest birth rates in the region, see this as an opportunity to compensate for their losses, ensuring that the next generation continues the struggle for survival and sovereignty and encouraging high fertility rates to counteract displacement and occupation.
The impact aligns with Israel’s long-standing concerns over Palestinian demographic growth. Israel has consistently framed Palestinian birth rates as a “demographic threat,” particularly in Gaza and the West Bank.

As pro-Israel sentiment continues to dominate political and media discourse, individuals who express solidarity with Palestinians will face growing scrutiny, professional and police repercussions, and even social ostracisation.
The consequences of taking a principled stance on Palestine are already evident. Academics, journalists, activists, and even students have been subjected to intimidation, job losses, and blacklisting simply for voicing support for Palestinian rights. Corporations and institutions are tightening their policies, while anti-boycott laws in several states have created legal barriers to economic and political protest against Israel. The chilling effect is spreading, signaling that defending Palestinian self-determination in the US will come at a steep cost.
As the US government continues to deepen its alliance with Israel, those who challenge Washington’s unwavering support for Tel Aviv may find themselves increasingly marginalised and punished. The upcoming months could see intensified crackdowns on pro-Palestinian advocacy, including greater surveillance, legal action, and targeted efforts to silence dissenting voices.
For Americans and residents who refuse to conform to the prevailing narrative, the road ahead will not be easy. But history has shown that silencing a just cause does not erase it—it amplifies it. The fight for Palestinian self-determination will persist, even if it comes at a price.

🔻 C1: In a real conflict, some 90% or so wouldn’t be able to conduct operations for long, anyways for lack of maintenance capacity, spare parts & crew.
So you’re essentially looking at a fleet of decoys.
🔻 WS: [reposts old] By its own admission, the US Navy cannot put to sea more than about 60 surface warships at any time. They can float 5 carriers, but only outfit a maximum of 3 of them for combat operations — they lack experienced air and shipboard crew for any more.
🔻 C2: Admiral Yamamoto would like to have a word with you regarding this.

The US Army desert tan vehicular paint scheme is simply unacceptable in temperate environments. Considering that units may have to deploy from CONUS on short notice to fight in colder climate zones without having time to run their equipment through contractor-run paint shops, this scheme should at a minimum be replaced with a darker “general arid-climate” design that provides some level of concealment in Europe.
🔻 WS: It is probably a direct reflection of the urgency with which much of this equipment has been transferred to Ukraine — an urgency dictated by the unrelenting and comprehensive attrition of such equipment on the Ukrainian battlefield. The AFU always needs more of everything, NOW.

These are momentous days in Africa, lost in the brouhaha over orangish antics, and other more prominent theatres of the hybrid world war. This belongs here rather in routine news from Africa.. Frenchie was booted out of another country; the US closed its embassy in Chad as that entire region is poised to be detonated, with Rwanda and South Africa making open threats at each other (!). Angola is siding with Congo; Part of the compradore East African community (their ECOWAS) piped up to back Rwanda. Rwanda is backed to the hilt by the combined West and Zion. Losing Congo might be as catastrophic to the West as Germany losing Russian gas… So they’re going full retard in genocide atm, international law be damned.

⭕ 🇹🇩 The three French military bases in Chad have been completely handed over to the Chadian National ArmyAccording to the Chadian General Staff of the Armed Forces, the last installation concerned, that of the Sergeant Adji Kossei base in N’Djamena, was handed over to the African country on Wednesday.
This handover marks the definitive end of the French military presence on Chadian soil, the body emphasized.
The Chadian National Army is fully prepared to assume the management of the recovered infrastructure, the Chadian authorities were quoted by the media as stating.
⭕ 🇿🇦🇷🇼 South Africa warned of the threat of war if Rwanda attacks its troops in the DR Congo💬 “The president did warn them [Rwanda], if you are going to fire, we will take it as a declaration of war and we will have to defend our people,” said South African Minister of Defense and Military Veterans, Angelina Motshekga, as quoted by the South African news portal Times Live. “That is when the firing also stopped.”
On Wednesday, Ramaphosa accused the Rwandan army of being involved in the deaths of 13 South African soldiers near the Congolese city of Goma. The president noted that the presence of the South African contingent in the DRC does not constitute a declaration of war against any state.
In turn, Rwandan President Kagame said that he does not rule out confrontation with South Africa due to the situation in eastern DRC. He also called South Africa a participant in the conflict in the DRC, noting that South Africa is conducting combat offensive operations to assist the Congolese government and is cooperating in the DRC with armed groups that threaten Rwanda.
⭕ ❓🇨🇩 Escalating conflict in Eastern DRC: What’s happening and why it mattersThe Democratic Republic of Congo is experiencing intensified conflict as M23 rebels, reportedly backed by Rwanda, advance after capturing Goma. They are now moving towards Bukavu, causing casualties, civilian displacement, and diplomatic tensions with Rwanda.
🇨🇩 M23 rebels—who are they?
M23, a Tutsi-led rebel group and offshoot of CNDP, began its current insurgency in 2022, claiming the Congolese government failed to integrate Tutsi communities per the 2009 peace agreement.
The group claims to defend Tutsis from Hutu militias like the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda, tied to the 1994 genocide.
🇷🇼 What is Rwanda’s involvement?
The DRC, UN, and Western nations accuse Rwanda of supporting M23 with troops and weapons, based on UN evidence. Rwanda denies this, claiming its military actions are defensive against threats from the DRC-based FDLR. Rwanda’s military involvement in eastern DRC dates back to the late 1990s.

⭕🇨🇩🌍 DRC president condemns international agencies’ inaction amid violence in the country💬 “Your silence and inaction in the face of the Kigali regime and atrocities committed by its supporters on our territories are insults not only to the Democratic Republic of Congo but also to the common human values of peace and justice,” Felix Tshisekedi said during his address to the nation.
He also said that the inaction of international organizations “borders with complicity” in the aggression against the DRC, which will not let itself be degraded and will continue fighting back.
🇷🇼 Tshisekedi also called on the nation to unite efforts to repel the “barbaric aggression of Rwanda.”
The president condemned the capture of the city of Goma in the eastern part of the country by the M23 rebels with the support of Rwanda, which he accused of “violating the UN Charter,” confirming the presence of Rwandan troops on the territory of the DRC.
⭕🇨🇩 The future of the conflict in the DR Congo: A faster, bloodier war or a fragile peace? This current war in the country is different from previous ones, not only because of its scale but also due to technological advancements, noted Maya Nikolskaya, Acting Director of the Center for African Studies at Russia’s MGIMO University, in an interview to Sputnik Africa.
💬 “It is going to be, even to an extent, it is going to be more bloody and it is going to be much faster than the previous two wars that happened in this region,” Nikolskaya warned.
At the same time, diplomatic negotiations could pressure Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi into making territorial concessions to Rwanda. The East African Community itself faces possible fractures, mirroring tensions seen in West Africa between ECOWAS and the Sahel states that have left the bloc, the expert compared.
🇪🇺💎🩸 Meanwhile, the European Union, heavily reliant on Congolese minerals, is eager to see the conflict end. However, as Nikolskaya pointed out, the mining operations fueling this war are tainted by violence and illegal control. With M23 rebels controlling key mining areas, the global market is complicit in a trade that funds warlords and militias.
💬 “It means you’re actually exporting not only blood diamonds, but also blood cobalt, blood lithium, blood copper from Zambia and the DRC as well. So this is how bad the situation can get,” she concluded.
⭕🇨🇩🇷🇼 Who would benefit from the DRC-Rwanda confrontation?🗣 “If we look at the final beneficiaries of this conflict in terms of precious materials, we know the multinationals that can profit from it,” noted Alphonse Maindo, a professor of political science at the University of Kisangani in the DRC, in an interview with Sputnik Africa.
💰 As Rwandan exports of coltan increase and find their way to major producers, these resources ultimately benefit multinationals, mainly Western ones, he explained.
Further, many Congolese “have the impression that France is playing a kind of double game on this issue,” Maindo continued, highlighting the puzzling lack of a firm stance from Paris, especially given France’s prominent position in denouncing the conflict in Ukraine.
💬 “We’ve even seen that funding is being provided to Rwanda, notably through the European Union, to finance Rwandan troops, and I remind you that we’re talking about millions of deaths,” Maindo emphasized.
⭕ 🇩🇿 Algerian parliament proposes to abolish French for all official legal documents, reports say📄 Members of the Algerian parliament intend to submit a draft law to eliminate the French version of the Official Gazette, which publishes all legal texts, making Arabic the sole language for publishing legislative and regulatory texts, local media reported.
They argued that the temporary use of French for official documents, introduced by presidential decree in 1964, has lasted too long and contradicts the use of Arabic in the legislative process itself.
“It is not reasonable for the temporary to become permanent after more than 60 years of independence, […] It is not reasonable for the discussion, deliberation, voting, and ratification of legislative and regulatory texts to take place in Arabic, and in the end for them to be published in both Arabic and French,” the initiators of the proposal from the Movement of Society for Peace party reportedly explained.
The draft, which cites the constitution’s designation of Arabic as the official state language, would criminalize non-compliance with the possible law, according to reports.

⭕ It is not clear if Israel will stand by the deal but Hamas has indicated its intention to secure the release of prominent Palestinian leaders Marwan Barghouti and Ahmad Saadat in the second phase of the ceasefire agreement. However, Israel has firmly opposed their release, citing Barghouti’s significant influence among Palestinians as a primary concern.Marwan Barghouti, a former leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, was arrested in 2003 and is currently serving multiple life sentences for his involvement in attacks that resulted in Israeli fatalities. His arrest favours President Mahmoud Abbas.
Ahmad Saadat, the Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), was convicted for his role in orchestrating the assassination of Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze’evi in 2001.
Regarding support for Hamas, recent polls indicate a notable increase in its popularity among Palestinians in the West Bank. As of seven months ago, approximately 41% of West Bank residents expressed support for Hamas, up from 35% in March and 12% in September of the previous year. In contrast, support for Fatah has declined, with only 17% backing the party, down from 26% in September
⭕ I highly doubt that anyone in Israel genuinely believes in the notion of an “absolute victory” over Gaza or Lebanon. The realities on the ground speak for themselves.Benjamin Netanyahu, facing an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant for war crimes, has failed to achieve his declared objectives. His military campaign has neither secured long-term security for Israel nor dismantled Hamas or Hezbollah.
As his political and military failures become more apparent, no Israeli investigative committee will go easy on him. The scrutiny he faces at home will be relentless, as Israelis demand accountability for the war’s devastating consequences and its failure to deliver the promised results.

Experts believe that the increase in the number of dead and missing is due to the sending of foreign fighters to the most difficult sections of the front, where military experience is needed.
The Pentagon’s analysis regarding the presence of foreigners in the Ukrainian theater of operations deserves special attention. ⭕ 🇷🇺💬 Maria Zakharova:You have probably heard that a video was posted online in which young people of Slavic appearance, on behalf of Russia, say offensive and sometimes simply disgusting things about migrants in our country: Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, Tajiks, Armenians and all those with whom we have lived for centuries in a single state, built a common future together, defended the Fatherland, and with whom we are now connected not only by economics and language, but also by truly warm interpersonal ties.
Today we know who is broadcasting these videos. Our special services have uncovered another unsuccessful attempt to sow ethnic hatred.
The monster, who clumsily passed himself off as a Russian citizen, turned out to be… a Banderite sitting in Ukraine. Now we even know his full name: Nikolai Nikolaevich Kochmarik, a native of Nikolaev region. (https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/137642?single) Naturally, he supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nikolai Nikolaevich (or does he prefer to be called Mykola?) can be sure that our colleagues know much more about him: his date of birth, place of work, and current location.
Once again, we note that the platform for the spread of hate speech was provided by the American video hosting YouTube. I will not provide a link to this abomination.
No matter how hard these “anonymous” people try to hide behind false faces and flags, they can be identified with modern technical capabilities. And it immediately becomes clear who benefits from sowing ethnic hatred in Russia – those for whom Nazi frenzy has long replaced faith, conscience and honor – the militants entrenched in Kyiv and the neo-Nazis in the capitals of its sponsors.
By the way, the same thing happened last year, when the criminal and provocateur Ilya Ponomarev provoked ethnic riots in Dagestan on his Telegram channel.
I would like to remind you that the unity of the peoples of Russia is one of the officially enshrined traditional values in our country. Of course, good relations also extend to our centuries-old friends, allies and neighbors in the region. Relations between peoples within our country and friendship with the peoples of our CIS partners go back hundreds of years, and they cannot be undermined by video fakes or paid provocations from abroad. Everyone understands this, except for those whose brains Zelensky, using Western money, has washed, sent to kill and die for the ideals of Nazism and under the signs of neo-Bandera runes and swastikas.

⭕ 🇨🇩🌍 SADC to send defense ministers to the DRCIn response to recent M23 and Rwandan attacks on Congolese and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) forces, SADC leaders met in Harare on January 31 and decided to send their defense ministers to the DRC to address the rising tensions.
According to the press release, the ministers and chiefs of staff of the contributing countries will be sent to “facilitate immediate repatriation of the deceased troops and those who are injured.”
The regional organization also called for an immediate joint summit of SADC and the East African Community to address the security situation in the region.
The member countries reaffirmed their “unwavering commitment to continue supporting the DRC in its pursuit of safeguarding its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.”

⭕ 🇧🇮🇨🇩 The escalating conflict in the eastern DRC could trigger a regional war, Burundi’s president states🗣 “If Eastern Congo does not have peace, the region has no peace,” Evariste Ndayishimiye said, noting that “if it continues like this, war risks becoming widespread in the region.”
Expressing concern about Rwanda’s actions, the president warned:
🗣 “If Rwanda continues to make conquests […] I know that war will even arrive in Burundi.”
Rwandan President Paul Kagame denied any Rwandan involvement in the events in eastern Congo earlier, stating, “Rwanda did not in any way create what is happening […] I am giving you facts, go and investigate and prove me wrong.”

The first phase of the Israeli-Palestinian truce is expected to last for six weeks. During this period, the two sides will exchange a total of 33 Israeli hostages, including eight who have passed away, and approximately 1,900 Palestinian prisoners. |media|

⭕ Israel ordered UNRWA to cease all operations in all occupied Palestinian Territories starting from next Thursday.
⭕ The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 involved the detonation of explosive yields of approximately 15,000 tons (15 kilotons) and 21,000 tons (21 kilotons) of TNT, respectively. In contrast, reports indicate that between October 2023 and April 2024, Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip resulted in the deployment of over 85,000 tons of conventional explosives.
While the total tonnage of explosives used in Gaza surpasses that of the individual atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it’s important to note that nuclear explosions have devastating immediate and long-term effects, including intense radiation exposure and environmental contamination. Factors in conventional bombings are not to be underestimated on the short and long-term effects.
⭕ The most dangerous scheme against the Palestinian people is twofold:First, the push for Syria to grant citizenship to Palestinian refugees, effectively erasing their legal status as refugees and dismantling their right of return. This move, if implemented, would be a direct assault on one of the core pillars of the Palestinian cause—their internationally recognised right to return to their homeland. By “integrating” Palestinians into Syrian society as full citizens, their displacement would be normalised and institutionalised, weakening their claim to their original homes in Palestine.
Second, the United States’ reported pressure on Jordan to absorb hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank is another alarming development. For decades, Israel has sought to shift the demographic balance of the West Bank by gradually pushing Palestinians out, replacing them with Israeli settlers. If Washington succeeds in forcing Jordan to accept this influx, it would serve Israel’s long-standing objective of turning Jordan into an alternative Palestinian homeland, effectively erasing the Palestinian national struggle for statehood.
Both of these moves constitute a strategic plot to erase the Palestinian identity and dilute their legal and political claims. If realised, they would fundamentally alter the Palestinian struggle by making displacement permanent and irreversible while shielding Israel from international accountability for its occupation and apartheid policies.
This is not just an administrative or political manoeuvre; it is an attempt at liquidating the Palestinian cause by dissolving the people into other nations, ensuring that the dream of return is buried and that the reality of occupation remains uncontested.
⭕ A new AI Cold War, DeepSeek, the Chinese AI model making waves in the AI landscape, is more than just another technological advancement—it represents a strategic challenge to US dominance in artificial intelligence, data control, and economic influence. It is an alternative economic models that move away from Western capitalist constraints, a multipolar technological world—one where AI is not solely dominated by Silicon Valley and Wall Street interests.

BlockedAmen Emerson. I don’t follow the central African tragedy closely. But Lavrov appears to hit the nail on the head. Rwanda remains a disturbed and disturbing construct, since their genocide in mid-1990s. Note how instrumentalizeable they remain, with a Tutsi minority leading the Hutu majority; a classical, and unsustainable, imperial setup. M23 are also Tutsi led..
Rwanda switched official allegiance from France to Britain, and is now even tighter integrated into Empire via the British Commonwealth. Remember the risible deportation of Africans in Britain to Rwanda in the prior regime of Sunak et al.
One image that stood out, at the height of the Gaza Genocide, was the zionazi Prez Herzog visiting Rwanda along with Clinton and other functionaries.
I suppose, as Chad was once the French gendarme of the entire Sahel, Rwanda is such for the Anglos, and ever more important as one of the very last extant outposts.

‼️ Bleeding the BeastI am inclined to believe that, in the absence of some truly egregious escalation on the part of the US/NATO, the Russians are more than willing to continue to fight this war on the strategically idiotic terms it has long-since assumed: the west expends its military strength piecemeal into the battle, and the Russians methodically defeat and/or destroy it.
Why should the Russians object if the US/NATO sends more of its scant stockpiles of short-range ballistic and longer-range cruise missiles? The success rates for ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles has been abysmal, and steadily decreases with the passage of time. They are strategically meaningless. And there is effectively zero replenishment capacity!
Why should the Russians object if the US/NATO sends a squadron — or even five — of antiquated F-16s to Ukraine. Yes, of course, they would be piloted by NATO “volunteers”, and they might even achieve a handful of overhyped and fleeting “successes” in the early going. But if they actually attempt to mount serious sorties over the Ukraine battlefield, old F-16s with inadequate logistics and sustainment are going to have a life span numbered in mere HOURS.
And why, above all, would the Russians object if the US/NATO sends “ground troops” into Ukraine to face the Russian army?
It simply must be understood that the US/NATO could not assemble, equip, send, and sustain even a dozen competent combat brigades to engage the Russians in Ukraine.
Do you realize what would happen to 50k NATO combat troops — none of whom have EVER experienced high-intensity warfare — if they were suddenly thrust, with necessarily deficient leadership and coordination, into the Ukraine battlefield?
They would be mercilessly slaughtered.
It would be even worse for the NATO forces than it was for the AFU during its catastrophic summer 2023 “counter-offensive”.
So, if I’m Gerasimov, I would say, “Bring ’em on!”
At the rate this whole Ukraine debacle is going, essentially all European-based military power — be it indigenous or in the form of American expeditionary forces — is going to be attrited to “combat-ineffective” for at least a decade, and probably more.
If I were the Russians, I would view that objective as the summum bonum to be achieved as a result of this war, and I would be loath to interrupt the Masters of Empire while in the process of handing it to me on a silver platter.

[life is gonna get interesting in “the New World.” But they waste their time. If they want to go after the REAL cartel bringin in the Dope – head to northern Virginia] -

⭕ President Trump:🇨🇦❌🇺🇸 “Canada should become our precious 51st state. Much lower taxes and much better military protection for the Canadian people — AND NO TARIFFS!”
Donald Trump is certain that Canada will cease to exist as a viable country and is urging it to join the United States as the 51st state.
Trump:
Will there be pain?
Yes, but it will all be worth it to make America great again.
⭕ 🇨🇦❌🇺🇸 Canadian PM Justin Trudeau:Our border is already safe and secure, but there is more work to do.
The best path is to partner with Canada, not punish us

⭕ The Israeli army has expanded its “anti-terrorist” operation in the northern West Bank.Israeli forces have started operations in the city of Tamun, but they are also operating in Jenin and Tulkarem.

ParticipantI really appreciate Will Schryver as a rule, but on China and the lurgy he is an ignorant US indoctrinated idiot. Or something worse.
He is saying correctly that the lab leak was from Fort Detrick, USA not Wuhan then in the next breath claiming there was no virus it was all a psyop.
Tell that to the millions who died from it and to me and many i know who has had it several times and can testify that it is indeed not a normal flu bug but a dangerous pathogen. For anyone who is going to give me the inevitable “but the vaxx” well i never got it, so my own experience is pure virus symptoms. He is claiming that China “went along” with the farce. And that China has no control over its population and much more drivel (on X ) over the past weeks about China.
Is there no end to the limited hangouts of American so called independent commentators? How is it that a person can have such fine discrimination on the military and geopolitical situations and yet worse than zero on other easily accessible topics?

KeymasterThere is no honesty K. The ugly China meme is all over again and Trump just amplified it. It is like an amoeba – the whole discussion space changes instantly as most are scared to speak against anything. They say what they feel will not get them into trouble.

KeymasterPart of the apocalypse. I just did a proverbial walk through social media on the tariffs issues. Americans are saying they will free Mexico, and it will become the 52nd state, the horrible talk about Mexicans is back, and the racism is so bad it hurts. A very bad gene has been touched in the American soul.
The Homeland Security X says: Alert: Mexican government may collapse in weeks.. perhaps days..
The Peso of course dropped against the Dollar and the Canadian currency as well.
Examples:
-Texas man died when he drove over a land mine while visiting his friends in Mexico!
-We’re going to liberate Mexico and Canada.
-When the government IS the CARTEL, these things happen I suppose. The cartels have been running the entirety of the country since I’ve been alive and I’m 56. I know a guy that has 3 businesses in Mexico and the cartels take 80% of everything he makes as his debt to them to have the privilege of owning 3 businesses.
-Would the people of Mexico support American military going and removing the cartels? Or at least shrinking them?
-They would. But it’s so corrupt there, and with this “payment” also comes “protection”. It’s very complicated. The government is in bed with the cartels. It’s incredibly corrupt on a level that most of us cannot comprehend.
Every single one of these comments is bullshit.
One Mexican guy piped up .. Hahahahahaha remind me who feeds the cartels with weapons? Because here in Mexico there are no gun stores and it is not even legal to carry a .22 without first doing endless paperwork. You finance them and then use them as an excuse to invade. You always do it in Syria, Iraq, etc.

Participantpanama has apparently caved. amarynth, do you suppose china & panama may’ve conferred & decided to sit back, rather than confront, & allow the orange team take a victory lap & then segue to the next event.
nica will go ahead, almost as though china’s anticipated this detour.

KeymasterAll Panama did so far, was to say that they will cancel the agreement with China to call the Panama Canal a node on the Belt and Road. But I’ve not looked too deeply into it. The Panamanians are out in the streets. Hatred boils up everywhere.
We have to be careful with everybody shouting ‘they caved’. Most do not know what the issues are. The US so-called win is then horribly manipulated and shouted all over the landscape, and the US people consider that Trump won. It is a bad thing that is happening, as everyone is being manipulated.
My sense is that the people in this area are working together and planning their responses. They put honey around Trump’s mouth where he needs honey and where they have to stand, they stand.
I cannot believe the mob characteristics of Trump’s deranged bellows.
We have a Trump litmus test coming up as well and that would be the meeting with Netanyahu – I believe it is tomorrow.

ParticipantDmitri Lascaris has a really good interview with Alex Krainer. Very mature geopolitics. The first 15 minutes Krainer spends illustrating how the world might just be coming to a new order to replace the old one from WWII, namely the regional spheres of influence that account for Russia, China and the US. He makes a compelling case.
As some have speculated, the moves by Trump may be to strengthen the North American sphere while releasing or reducing involvement in the rest of the world. And Putin has said that he and Trump should discuss bigger things than Ukraine – perhaps a new security architecture over a much broader field?
They move on to discuss the future of Syria and the demise of Israel with the US in turn “replanting” itself into Lebanon as the next unsinkable stronghold. A lot of global forces at play in this discussion, the whole thing is good:
