Trump: The US and China together can solve all the problems of the world
Its been a tough day but this is the laugh of the day.
Trump thinks that others do not understand that he is just a continuance of US policy. He is trying on just a quick one to break that relationship between China and Russia by trying to put honey around Xi Jinping’s mouth. Trump talks about the wonderful conversation that they had – he does not say it, but it was that conversation over ‘beautiful’ chocolate cake where Trump announced to Xi Jinping that he just called for missile strikes on Syria.
So now, in Trump’s transactional manner he says the US and China together can solve all the problems of the world. That was my laugh of the day. Does he honestly think China has not taken note of the threats of tariffs? Does he honestly not know that US soldiers are being relocated from Okinawa to Guam to strengthen the US military posture under NATO? Covid though, says Trump, was a bridge too far.
On the inauguration, China has formally said that Xi Jinping will not attend but the Chinese Ambassador to the US will attend. I guess Trump does not know, or perhaps he is trying it on and opening up the issue again, Art of the Deal ya’know. (Flattery gets you everywhere). China says quite openly in their Foreign Office briefings that the US is causing the problems in the world.
Arnaud is off the mark on this one. China will choke on their noodles if Xi Jinping attends Trump’s inauguration.
This ๐ potentially changes everything, it looks like Trump envisions a U.S.-China G2.

Yes, Amarynth – and was that the interview in which the semi-literate pillock forgot which country he had just bombed and Maria Bartiromo had to politely remind him? โ…he does not say it, but it was that conversation over โbeautifulโ chocolate cake where Trump announced to Xi Jinping that he… Read more »
Thanks for the important reminder. In hindsight, that puerile casual and contemptuous demonstration of destruction cleared the air for the Chinese. Trump was in many respects the last chance saloon of the Yanks, and the West. He demonstrated he was not up to snuff, that he was merely a Joker… Read more »
