Cessation of hostilities Lebanon: call Isis
Background: The so-called cessation of hostilities in Lebanon is holding, up to now. There are issues here and there, but not critical. The zionist entity behaves as if it owns the area between the Blue Line and Litani River and called the area prohibited at night. The Lebanese don’t care. They are moving back. Biden said this cessation of hostilities is permanent, yet, others believe it is of 60-day duration (until Trump is inaugurated some of his transition team said). The IDF opened fire on suspects moving toward southern Lebanon, claiming they breached the ceasefire with Hezbollah. Three were reportedly wounded in a drone strike, and Israeli tanks fired into Markaba, according to reports. Trying to regain some power, the IDF says it is actively enforcing ceasefire violations. It is of course not their role according to the ceasefire agreement.
According to UN Security Council resolution 1701, there should be no “armed personnel, assets and weapons other than those of the Government of Lebanon and of UNIFIL” in the bufferzone between the Blue Line and the Litani River.

It is absurd that Biden is now making decisions on war and peace, and before the US election, he was too frail to carry out his presidential duties. It is the topic of another post to disclose what exactly was promised by and to France, to the UK and the massive amount of weaponry that is now entering israel again, courtesy of the US. We identified early on that there is a terrible odor around this agreement and the odor continues. What exactly Hezbolla is doing is the topic of another post.
In Gaza, the bombing continues but at somewhat of a slower pace. Gaza and now the West Bank, remains the zionist punch bag. The Al-Hurriya School, which shelters displaced people in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City was bombed. Amidst the rain and severe cold, the Zionist occupation bombed a group of Palestinian children in the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The resistance continues. DO NOT FORGET TO TALK ABOUT GAZA.
With that backdrop, someone made a call to ISIS, (new names of course) and the decision was to attack Syria.
To understand what is happening, Vanessa Beeley recommends this overview:
Syria Under Attack—A New Chapter in the War of Wills In the grand war on the Axis of Resistance, nothing happens by coincidence.
Al-Qaeda’s affiliates, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, have launched a significant offensive against Syrian Army positions near Aleppo. The timing is calculated, coinciding with a lull on the southern Lebanese front. The objectives are clear: to weaken Syria, scatter the Axis of Resistance, and force new dynamics on the battlefield. But Syria is no passive player in this game. The Axis of Resistance understands these moves and sees through their long-term implications.
Who is orchestrating this escalation? Why is Aleppo the chosen target? How does this fit into the broader regional war?
This is not just a skirmish—it’s a new chapter in the ongoing battle of wills.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, a rebranded al-Qaeda faction, has launched a large-scale attack on Syrian Army positions near Aleppo. The group briefly seized several key areas using coordinated tactics, supported by advanced weaponry. The Syrian Army responded swiftly, aiming to regain control while facing complex battlefield dynamics.
Who Is Behind This Escalation?
No attack of this scale happens without external backing and geopolitical calculation:
Turkey:Uses armed groups as proxies to advance its territorial ambitions in northern Syria. Seeks to establish a permanent buffer zone and leverage militant groups for political gain. Keeps Hayat Tahrir al-Sham as a bargaining tool for future negotiations.
United States:While officially claiming to fight terrorism, the U.S. has long relied on chaos in Syria to weaken Russia and Iran. Maintains its grip on eastern Syria’s resources to prevent national recovery. Allows these offensives to serve as indirect pressure on Damascus. Israel:Exploits instability to weaken the Syria-Iran-Hezbollah axis. Uses such distractions as cover to launch airstrikes on strategic positions. Ensures Syria remains entangled in multiple crises, diverting attention from Lebanon and Palestine.
Why Aleppo? Aleppo is no ordinary city—it is the symbol of Syria’s resilience and its recovery from devastating battles. Attacking Aleppo achieves several strategic goals:
- Threatens the security of one of Syria’s key urban centers.
- Forces the Syrian Army to overstretch its defenses.
- Disrupts the fragile economic revival that Aleppo represents. The city’s significance makes it a prime target for those seeking to destabilize Syria at its core.
Why Now? Timing Is Everything.
This escalation coincides with critical regional developments:
- Lull in Lebanon: After the recent clashes between Hezbollah and Israel, the Syrian front becomes a convenient pressure point to divide the Resistance.
- Regional Posturing: Turkey and Israel see an opportunity to exploit Syria’s vulnerabilities.
- Global Messaging: This attack sends a signal to Damascus and its allies: “The war isn’t over, and your enemies are still watching.”
Strategic Objectives Behind the Attack
The goal is not just military but deeply political: to weaken Syria’s position in the regional balance of power.
- Regional Goals: Strengthen Turkey’s control in the north.
- Undermine Syria’s role as a key pillar of the Resistance Axis.
- Disrupt coordination between Syria, Iran, and Russia.
- Global Goals: Keep Syria in a perpetual state of conflict, draining Iranian and Russian resources. Prevent Syria from rebuilding as a sovereign, unified state.
What’s Next? Forecasting the Situation
Military Developments:
- The Syrian Army is expected to regain lost ground, but sporadic attacks will likely continue to maintain pressure.
- Axis of Resistance Response: The escalation will lead to greater coordination between Damascus, Tehran, and Hezbollah, likely resulting in more decisive countermeasures.
- Geopolitical Fallout: Syria will use this attack as further evidence of external involvement in fueling terrorism, potentially rallying greater domestic and international support.
The Message to the Resistance
Every battle in Syria is part of a broader war to weaken the Resistance Axis. But history has proven one thing: this war is fought as much with resilience and willpower as with weapons. Negotiations with you are a sign of your strength. Escalations against you reveal their fear. This fight is not just about borders or cities—it’s about defending dignity, sovereignty, and the legacy of those who sacrificed for freedom.
There is one further issue that is important. For the first time Iran has spoken about the Turkish interaction. Iranian Foreign Ministry: ‘We warn the Turks to refrain from intervening in Syrian domestic affairs. Unlike the Russian presence in Syria and the presence of Iranian advisors, which is the result of an official government invitation, Turkey is present in Syria illegally and has no business in any of its affairs’
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has just arrived in Moscow, to meet with President Vladimir Putin. False information!
This is a ‘stay tuned’ chronicle.
There is a creeping escalation going on in the region. The objective is to break the resistance into smaller groupings and to disturb the unity that we have seen from the resistance groupings. This attack on Syria is a large part of that. Yes, Erdogan is playing games again, but… Read more »
A land grab in Syria will completely surround Lebanon and then Lebanon is open to attacks from the north and east. The notion Israel is economically broken is nonsense because the Federal Reserve will print what is required. The Israeli population is irrelevant and what is relevant is “Greater Israel”… Read more »
Hi AHH This may be used as a connecting point between the Ukraine war. Note Ukrainians making drones in among the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or Al Quada mess. In Africa as well. Ukrainians/soldiers are beginning to play roles, such as ISIS. I believe we may be seeing another ISIS type… Read more »
They’ve been bombing these major checkpoints between Syria and Lebanon for decades, without material effect. The honest nazis admit that they interdict perhaps 10% of the countless streams headed west for Lebanon and Palestine. This is among key reasons Iran is targeted; they are the unflagging armory of the Resistance… Read more »
We shouldn’t put more into the ISIS suicide-charges in northern Syria. They are essentially Anglo-Zionist narrative fillers, like sending UkroNazis on similar futile charges against Russians. Otherwise peace might break out, and the world’s attention return to the extermination camp that is Gaza. The reality is they’ve got scant logistics… Read more »
