Your relationship with another bubble

Disclaimer: I fully realize that my writing is not always for everyone or recognizable. I am a Westerner and write this piece from my situation primarily to my fellow Westerners to provide interpretation from an alternative perspective.

Polarization in society took extreme forms in Corona times. Whereas the majority was amenable to the propagated fear porn and went along with all Corona measures including profitable vaccinations, there was a minority who warned against the totalitarian approach aimed at control and expansion of power. Then the issues followed in rapid succession, the highlights being the US (NATO) proxy war against Russia and Israel’s genocide against the Palestinians.

About the same order, however, people are waking up more and more. Fewer and fewer people still believe the government when it comes to Corona. It strikes them that the deaths from Corona were there, but only a fraction of all the made-up doomsday scenarios. Vaccine over-mortality is not allowed to be investigated. Investigations are frustrated and scientists who come up with new facts still ignored. Most people have come to see the lies and stopped offering their arm for a vaccination.

Russia is another story because it has been so much more deeply stored in the Western belief system for so many years. If something goes wrong here in the West you can wait for the Russians to be blamed. People believed the propaganda here too and it will take longer for the majority to understand that they have been lied to for the umpteenth time and the truth is completely different from what is being presented.

I certainly have faith in this, because so many people have become distrustful of the government that every minute you see eyes opening and hear ‘aha’ cries. The government has overplayed its hand with just too many lies and nauseating woke subjects. Any right-thinking person understands that you shouldn’t bother eight-year-old children with lessons on masturbation and the suggestion that you can change sex if you feel like it.

The most recent lie is about Israel, which supposedly everyone supports to defend democracy and freedom. No one here delves into history, because apparently it suddenly began on October 7, 2023. The people have been systematically indoctrinated with demonizing Islam, while open borders have given access for paid extremists. It makes sense that the people are the last to get here to puncture all these lies as well.

People wake up in stages. No one is completely asleep and no one is completely awake; we are all waking up at our own pace. Whether you wake up and how fast depends on quite a few things as well. But so there are many people awake on the subject of Corona, while they still have their eyes closed when it comes to Israel. The funny thing is that many people say they are awake, while they have not yet realized that they have some topics insufficiently in view. What you also see is that people who are more awake in some sense are trying very hard to get others to be more awake as well. That’s not so easy, especially given the extreme polarization mentioned earlier. The bubbles simply don’t listen to each other anymore.

The question is how best to relate to that other bubble, to the people in that bubble. Those people do not listen to us, even if they are family members or colleagues. Even within marriages, certain topics have become taboo. There is no longer anything to talk about. That is quite difficult when it comes to people who are basically close to you and with whom you want to have a friendly relationship with shared values. What can you do?

The power of the question

Every personal coach knows that the success of an intervention depends on the level of openness of the coachee. Openness is especially there when the coachee has a question, because with it the coach is invited to say something that the coachee has asked for and thus is willing to listen to the answer.

My concern here is with the principle of asking the question, not giving an answer or attempting a dialogue. Don’t fall into that trap and overplay your hand. Just ask questions. Open-ended questions! Questions that invite the other person to think for themselves about a situation and their own beliefs.

Don’t steer the other person in one direction with your questions, because they will see through that and you’ll lose them. Ask an open question and then let it go. Give the other person days, weeks and months to wake up. It took you time to get where you are today. Everything takes time to mature.

Has Corona worked out for you? Does fighting on in Ukraine still make sense do you think? Can Israel raze a housing complex to the ground to possibly eliminate one person? Just asking the question and listening to the answer. Don’t look difficult and don’t want to enter into a conversation. Think of it as an exercise in open-ended questioning. Everyone has something to learn.

The power of light

Awake people are still in the minority and are frustrated because it takes a long time for life to become more pleasant in such a society. When you have seen things going completely wrong for so long and have been warning for so long about the direction in which it is going, you become dispirited and irritated. From that attitude, you don’t attract people.

Positive and happy people attract others. Everyone wants to be among the winners. Make use of this knowledge and also realize that you yourself have much to gain from a positive basic attitude with fine energy. Make sure you radiate light and experience how people respond to that. How differently people react to you when you are not angry, but confident (without coming across as arrogant).

The power of the simple message

If at any point you do find yourself in conversation with that other person from that other bubble, realize that the opening may be narrow and short. Advertising knows the power of repetition. One or two sentences are all you have in an elevator conversation. Nor should you need more, because anything true needs no preaching.

Nature shows us that truth always lies in simplicity. If you can’t explain something simply, then you obviously don’t believe in it yourself or haven’t fully understood it yourself yet. Keep it short and sweet. The more arguments you need, the easier it becomes for the other person to choose which argument is the weakest. Switch back to asking questions. Stay upbeat and honest, radiate confidence but also be interested and serious.

All these forces you can use and see as your own teachings. You also need them to become more awake yourself. You are never out of learning. And finally, another point. We will not get ahead as humanity with a revolution. There have been enough of those and they have never made a difference. In the short term there is some relief and the people get satisfaction, but in the long term we have learned nothing real. The only path that offers real progress is evolution. We will all have to become more conscious ourselves. Massively. Only when that happens will we be ready for a new phase.

Evolution needs time. And it has all the time too. Man lives only for a short time and in that short time we can make the best of it. If we want to. And do so. Doing it ourselves, not thinking that all those others have to do it. Because even if all those others do nothing, you are able to become more conscious yourself. If we have any mission at all in our lives, it is to become, be and remain ourselves. Aware. Awake.
