After Avdeevka, the Russian Armed Forces offensive continues its deliberate slow-motion roll to the River.

🔹❗️ In the Avdeyevka area, the Russian forces have taken more advantageous positions, seven enemy counterattacks repelled, Russia’s Defense Ministry reports. More statements by the Russian Defense Ministry:
⚡️Kiev lost up to 100 military personnel, four armored vehicles, a “Grad” MLRS, a D-30 howitzer and a “Bukovel-AD” electronic warfare station in the Avdeyevka area;
⚡️In the Donetsk area, the Ukrainian losses amounted to over 360 military personnel. A US-made M777 system and a German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 artillery system were hit;
⚡️In the Kherson region, two Ukrainian counterattacks were repelled near the Rabotino village, Kiev lost up to 30 servicemen and an M777 artillery system;
⚡️In the Kupyansk area, the Russian troops repelled four enemy counterattacks at the Sinkovka village, Kiev lost up to 180 soldiers, a tank, an M777 artillery system, a D-20 towed howitzer;
⚡️In the south Donetsk area, near Novodonetskoe village, a Ukrainian counterattack was repelled, enemy losses amounted up to 140 troops.

🔹🇿🇦 🇷🇺 South Africa hands over the flag of the BRICS Sports Games to Russia

⚡️The flag was carried on stage by Russian swimmers Evgenia Chikunova and Georgy Glazunov. South Africa’s Ambassador to Russia, Mzuvukile Maqetuka, handed over the flag to Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin.

“The values that [former South African President] Nelson Mandela spoke about are still relevant today. Russia will do everything necessary for the BRICS Games to strengthen the peace and enhance the value of sport in these realities. This is a platform for communication without restrictions and without any inequality,” the sports minister said.

⚡️On June 11-24, Russia’s city of Kazan will host the international multi-sport event BRICS Sports Games 2024.

🔹🇲🇩🇷🇺 Transnistria plans to join Russia.
➡️Transnistria may appeal to Moscow for entry into Russia as soon as February 28, according to Transnistrian opposition leader Gennady Chorba.
➡️The leader of the republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky, is initiating the convocation of a congress of deputies at all levels due to “pressure from Moldova.”

ℹ️ Throughout the entire history of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), such congresses have been held only 6 times and have been associated with significant events.

The last time such an event took place was in 2006, and as a result, it was decided to hold a referendum on the possible integration of the republic into Russia. Almost 97% of the residents of Transnistria who voted supported full integration with Russia.

At the moment, Transnistria is under strong economic and political pressure from the authorities of Moldova. Chisinau hopes to reintegrate the republic by 2030 at the latest, as stated by the Minister of Defense of Moldova, Anatol Nosaty.
